Ive never had a bad experience with Mattress Firm. The sales people are knowledgeable and friendly. The delivery guys were prompt and careful with the mattress. I have purchased from mattress Firm in the past and will continue to look to them for my mattress needs in the future.I also appreciated the automated phone call with an estimated delivery time.

Kenny at Mattress Firm Irvington location was very help in my mattress selection and made the process easy. He explained all my delivery choices and the 120 night low price guarantee and the 120 night sleep trial! Looking forward to my mattress delivery!

There is no 120 day sleep trial, despite what the marketing says. There is a 10% exchange fee, 20% return fee, with a top limit of $250 per item for an exchange and $500 per a return. Frames cannot be returned, open or still in their packaging. There is also a $99 restocking fee, plus the fee for them to come pick it up. I guess its our fault for not reading the fine print, but I would think this is something that would be disclosed by the sales guy. We recommend purchasing online as the online retailers have true sleep trials and 0% financing options. I will say the staff are courteous and very helpful as we saw staff assisting customers load mattresses.

Vincent Astorino was a great help to us at the Broadway location in helping us select the right mattress!! The last mattress we purchased was more than a decade ago and there is a lot to know and consider when making a selection. We had no idea! Fortunately for us, Vincent was knowledgeable and patient answering our questions and letting us try out the mattresses. He pointed out the differences we would feel and experience with each option. We went in knowing we wanted a comfortable bed that support a good nights rest but we didnt know how much that would cost. Vincent showed us mattresses at several price points and assured us we could find something to meet our needs within a variety of price points. I have purchased a Firm Tempurpedic mattress after trialing it at the store location. Shane was helpful in directing me towards what I explained I was looking for and the delivery process was seamless. I also ordered an adjustable frame which I felt was a luxury but now realize has become incredibly beneficial to the swelling I get in my legs from working 12 hours as a nurse. The zero gravity helps immensely. I had the firm mattress for about a month when I realized that I would prefer a bit softer experience. The exchange process has been extremely easy and Zak has been very easy to work with. I am satisfied with my decision to exchange and feel confident the new medium mattress will better suit my comfort needs. Thankful for the help and accommodation and will recommend Mattress Firm in the future.

This experience was religious. I was up til 4 am putting together a horrible metal bed from IKea. You guys— DO NOT BUY a metal frame from IKEA. Especially when you have folks like the ones at the Broadway Mattress Firm. I walked in one-eyed and exhausted, having little hope for my future sleep. They found me exactly what I needed in the back at an amazing price, and were extremely friendly and intelligent. I cannot recommend this place enough. He did not talk down to us and let us take our time choosing and comparing.Payment was simple but we had to pay extra to haul away the old mattress. Still, a painless experience overall with good contact maintained after we left the store. They always kept us informed on when delivery was happening and when to expect the delivery people.

My son needed a full bed in a hurry. We had a choice of Bed Mart, Mattress Firm and Mattress World within three blocks of each other. Mattress Firm was the only one open until 8:00, and when we walked in at 7:00, Shane was FANTASTIC! We had a limited budget, and between the sale, the opened but not used discount and the 5% discount for waiving our right to return the bed within four months, we made it out with a high quality mattress for under our $400 budget! I highly recommend this place, certainly for price and selection of budget mattresses, but mostly because Shane was the BEST! He made a drudgery errand fun. Thanks!

I spent a few hours in the store today being helped by Shane and he was absolutely wonderful. He gave me attentive and personal attention and the most comprehensive run down on beds, from sleep science to design history to personal experience. He is an encyclopedia of everything bed related. I wish I could have left him a tip! He was wearing a mask and respecting social distancing and there were hardly any others in the store. I saved something like $350 at least, got a free adjustable frame, and was able to get next day delivery. 10/10 would go back and see Shane again.

My current mattress is 5 years old, creaks when I inhale/exhale, and is a full size, yet my cat acts like it’s a king.Yesterday I went to the NE Portland Mattress Firm location and told Shane how much I wanted to spend, the size, and when I needed it. He showed me three options and I was able to easily choose my favorite. He made sure the remaining items I needed (frame, box spring, delivery, haul away) fit my budget and got everything ready to be delivered within my time frame.When I noticed a small error on my order, Shane fixed it immediately despite having to cover for a no-show opener and having a frantic afternoon. I expected the update to my order might delay it by a day, which would have been ok, but I just got confirmation that I will still receive everything as originally planned.Super pleased with everything so far! Can’t wait to get my new bed!Updating now that I’ve actually slept on the thing! I love it! The cat loves it! Seriously, she gets mad when I take too long changing the sheets. My boyfriend (65) and I (58) have shared a 25 y/o full (yes, a full) size mattress for the entire pandemic thus far. Saturday morning, we entered Mattress Firm Irvington on what we believed to be a mere fact-finding mission. Fifteen minutes later, we were laid up cozily on the mattress of our (mutual! With minimal compromise!) dreams listening to our INCREDIBLE sales associate Shane Tanner continue to sweeten the deal with the inclusion of an adjustable base. I consider myself to be strongly utilitarian, and would never have suggested purchasing such a novelty (it truly is extra af), but now my boyfriend and I are in an endless conversation about the uses of the adjustable base: namely, our senior cat having a ramp up to the bedroom windowsill. Here I find myself, at 1 am on a Sunday morning, unable to sleep on my old mattress due to my newfound wealth of knowledge about not only my personal preferences, but my options. I felt empowered to make an educated decision in tandem with my boyfriend, who felt the same. 10/10 Shane Tanner for facilitating our first joint investment in a productive, enjoyable (and yes, covid conscious!) manner.

In this age of paid review sites and cheaply made delivery beds that only last a year, its nice to actually see the quality right there. They have a great selection and a solid return/exchange policy. Stop shopping online and go there.

Hi,My family bought a mattress about 6 months ago. We exchanged the first one hoping springs might give just an added “something else” even though we were happy.it didn’t. It was worse, so we went back to the original mattress we purchased. We’ve only had this mattress for the most, 2 months. As I was washing my sheets I noticed the top of the bed where my pillow is has a tear a few inches long. We have always had the bed protector on it. I think it happened when we were told to walk on it to break in the top hard cover area . Or something like that. This is the first time that we’ve washed our sheets with this mattress. I realize that you hear every story in the book. All that I can do is be honest and hope you’ll help. We’ll have this mattress for 10yrs and I know the tear or whole on the top will get dramatically worse during that time. Please help.Rick Yazzolino
