When I went in to pick out my mattress he was very knowledgeable, patient, and shared is personal experience with the store products that he uses. It was easy. Got details over the phone first, then tried it out in the showroom. The Jefferson with memory foam top was on sale! A week later, our new mattress was delivered and old one taken away. Vincent of the NE Broadway location was patient, informative, and very helpful! I came in one day, spent nearly an hour testing out mattresses, and then came back a few days later to make a final choice. Vincent was a huge help and made everything easy.

The sales people were very helpful and patient as we tried out several different options. They showed us a marvelous wool-filled mattress cover that we hadnt known about. Bought one and now that weve had it awhile, will probably buy another.

We were both worried about pushy salespeople, but Jasmine was friendly, informative and not the least bit pushy. Lovely selection of locally made mattresses that is just broad enough but not overwhelming. None of the marketing technobabble of most mattress places, and fair pricing. I was impressed that every time I went in (to basically lay around) there were other local families there too, and everyone was happy exploring. So different than a chain mattress experience, with a cavernous empty showroom and a voraciously aggressive sales person. I felt no pressure (neither on my mind nor my back) and left feeling confident I made a good choice.

I didnt know much about Parklane Mattress company when I strolled in. I immediately felt the difference between their business and other competitors. First of all, they are totally local. Second, there was absolutely no pressure from my sales person (who was very personable, but also let me have quiet time to think). I was welcomed to stay as long as I needed. Our sales person was loaded with knowledge when I asked for it, and had helpful diagrams on an iPad that gave me an in-depth understanding of the different mattresses I was comparing. Once I decided on a mattress and placed the order, I had two follow-up communications. One from the delivery staff, and one from my sales person. The delivery people arrived right on time, and were incredibly courteous. Perhaps the best delivery crew I have ever come across. They made sure to cover their feet, used extra caution when turning every corner, and made sure I was completely happy before they left. I really cant think of a single thing this company could have done better. Also...my mattress has been outstanding. I will definitely use Parklane again.

Good, knowledgeable salesman. But when base delivered it was marked Floor Model. We did not purchase a Floor Model and received no discount for the one that was delivered. This was disappointing.

This was our first purchase with Parklane, and it was very nice doing business with a long time, local company. We try to keep our business local (if possible) to help support folks who live and work in our area. We had a nice experience with all of the Parklane folks we came in contact with during our purchase. From the showroom, to the phone calls asking questions and placing the order, to the gentlemen who delivered our new bed, everyone was very helpful and friendly. So far, we are very happy with our new mattress. It is much, much better than our old mattress and seems to be very well built. My wife and I are sleeping better than we have in a very long time and look forward to many years of great sleep from our new mattress. Thank you Parklane!

I dropped into the Broadway store to browse for a mattress for a guest bedroom. I was promptly and professionally greeted by Alicia Orme. She was both knowledgeable and helpful, quickly ascertaining that I wanted a good price for a decent guest mattress. We selected a nice one, on sale. What happened next is that I couldnt take delivery for several weeks. Alicia made sure that the mattress would be delivered when I needed it--arranging for delivery the very next day. I would tell anyone in the market for a mattress, to check out Parklane. Why buy a mattress on line when you can try it out in person and be assisted by quality sales personnel like Alicia.

I have serious spinal deterioration and for the last few months needed pain medication to sleep. A friend recommended looking at Parklane. I visited the store on Broadway twice and researched detailed information on their well designed website then bought a new mattress. NO more back pain when I wake up. Go Figure!

Great store and mattress selection. Terrible delivery scheduling. They called less than an hour before the morning window they assigned me and could not schedule later in the day. Very rude delivery schedulers. Poor customer service.

Visited the Broadway showroom over a busy weekend with 3 kiddos in tow. Parklane representative was knowledgeable, courteous, and patient with our entire crew. The removal/delivery team was just as courteous and super efficient. Improved sleep & supporting local economy. Cant say enough good stuff about Parklane :-)

We were starting our lives in Portland, Oregon. Our home purchased so besides our love ones we will spend most of our life on a mattress, intimately.As we were new to Portland, Oregon, we didn’t know where to look for mattresses. So we went on Google Map and typed “mattresses.”Multitude of businesses poped up advertising their mattresses a long with pictures of smiling sales guys with hair slicked back as if they just half-finished a greasy sandwich in a cavernous showrooms electrified by fluorescence lights.But a business named Parklane Matresses intrigued us because of their humble enticement “a variety of locally manufactured models,” and also because of their understated and elegant business signage where “Parklane” is all in lower case of a beautiful honestly clear font that is friendly and which is delimited by two shortened corners with the remaining “mattresses” tucked minutely under “Parklane”.Hopped upon a bus and we were at the showroom in a brick building on NE Broadway in no time. Inside we were greeted by a friendly sales lady and her son coming back from first year of college. Leaving her son to FaceTime with his college friends, she asked us questions about our sleeping preferences and we took us to various mattresses’ models.All are locally made in Portland or vicinity using local materials such as various types of grains. Beautifully constructed and finished. But the real test is to lay on it.The sales lady offered various types of pillows also locally made. We quickly fell for a particular mattress named after a local neighborhood in Portland and the pillows.We have had the mattress now for three months. And now we are going back to buy two more! Considering that we will spend most of our life with love ones and mattresses, we are glad to have found these from Parklane Matresses.

I am editing my review from a 1 star to a 4 star rating. There was a hiccup in communication at the local store on Broadway that coincided with an employee’s weekend, a newer person covering, and nearing the end of business on a Friday, which resulted in my frustration with no knowledge of where the mattress was, and a lack of immediate resolution or clarity from the newer employee, and thus, the original review. Since then, the response from Parklane’s management, original salesperson I worked with, and even the owner, have all been expedient, sincere, and accommodating. They comp’d the delivery and were meticulous in concealing the mattress on the back deck. Our son’s new mattress is now in his bunk bed, we didn’t have to miss anyone’s lacrosse games to reschedule the pickup, and my second/third impression of Parklane is that this is a company with ownership that deeply cares about its customers and will do what needs to be done to take care of them. I can honestly recommend them. It is a company with integrity and local roots. Give them a shot next time you need a mattress.

Not only is this a local company that makes outstanding mattress’s, the customer service is beyond my expectations. Our experience with them has been nothing but a pleasure.
