Love this place so much!! Had a great experience recently where the person checking me out at the front saw what I was buying and made a great recommendation for another beer that matched my interests. He then proceeded to tell me all about the beer, brewery, etc. Great customer service from people who know and love beer.
Great little liquor store with a great selection of local craft beer. They also have knowledgeable staff to help find what you are looking for.
Best beer selection for miles around if youre shopping for home consumption. Taps are luck of the draw. Service is good. They could do with more snack options, but whatever. Ive loved them for years and tell anyone who likes beer about them.
Awesome selection in the store and on tap. The food truck serves great smash burgers too
Too political. Segregation practiced here. Uncomfortable vibes.
Excellent beer bar and bottle shop. Phenomenal and curated selection of PNW beers. Very good beers from the broader US and a small but notable selection of world beers.
Awesome little joint with a variety of beer and cider on tap, and a food truck out back with a small menu of smash burgers, fries, a salad, or soup and sandwich. The bartender was friendly and it was nice to get out and socialize with other patrons again! I will definitely be back!
This is a cool place to come grab a quick drink from their wide selections of beers, ciders and seltzer’s on tap.
Always a nice selection of brew. They even have a decent selection of non alcoholic choices. Dont forget to grab a daft right next door..🍻🍻
Great menu. One staffer was a little snappy mask-up while sitting outside he stated. In a relaxed environment. GOOD FOOD otherwise.
Fantastic wide selection of beers and ciders.Lots of international imports.Great staff that is ready with advice and to help locate what youre looking for.
Had a sour that changed my life here....then realized that there were so many of its cousins in the shop next door! Super thumbs up! Will definitely be back.
Solid beer selection with amazing burgers out back.
Neighborhood gem with amazing beer selection on tap and to-go from the bottle shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
When I need to impress beer people I take them here. Never fails.
One of the best bottleshops in Portland! Sure, the prices can be a bit more than a run-of-the-mill grocery store but they more than make up for it with things you never see anywhere else.
Yay! The back patio and beer porch are open again. Missed the incredibly diverse beer list here during the pandemic. The food cart is new (rip Monks). Mostly burgers and fries on the menu - had some fries and a super yum beet salad.
Higher priced as its a small local business. But good friendly service
Good service and great beer choices!
Destination for best in class IPAs
Great atmosphere. Great selection of beer.
Great selection, easy check out
Really Friendly and helpful Staff. Its great place to hangout and have a beer. Also, they are the only place that sells my favorite mead.
Always a good time, and the can shop has a damn good selection. Cant really go wrong.
Good times. Smash burger from nextdoor was good
Its impossible to walk by this place without popping in to grab a brew or two.
Drink beer? Go here.If you do not go here at least once to have a beer in the cafe and a subsequent stroll through the well-stocked bottle shop, then you and I cannot be friends.
Great selection and staff!
Great store. Awesome staff. A little pricy.
Great beer and cider selection. They also recycle paktech.
The best kept secret! So many choices and the food truck parked out back has really good philly cheese steak sandwiches! It’s one of our favorite places to go in town, it’s always mellow and they have the best beer selection and bottle shop. I also love that it’s kid friendly with board games for them to play and keep entertained and also dog friendly. I would recommend checking it out.
Best beer store.
Good nonalcoholic beer selection. I hope that section continues to expand.
Outstanding bottle shop and tap room.
This place is a great place to visit and drink amazing beer
Best place to find any beer on the East side of Portland. If they dont have it or cant get it, you are too picky.
An incredible beer selection and an awesome staff!
Awesome little bottle shop
They have all sorts of beer. I went for Barley Wine Beer. All the big name beer stores did not have Barley Wine Beer, but Belmont Station did!
Great selection of interesting beverages. Friendly staff
Great fast service, good covid protocols, and guy helped me lift the keg into the back of the car.
I went to grab a couple Michigan beers that I miss. I didn’t realize the store was so small. Felt really small during COVID! They are trying to limit it to 6 people shopping at once but it felt like more. I rushed in and out. Might just do curbside next time.
We need more of these kind of bottle shops.
Great beer selection.
Awesome selection of Belgium beer.
They have no happy hour.
Best craft beer & cider selection in the metro area
Stopped in to check on bier for an Austrian friend- happy to find out they had Ayinger! Just one of their huge selection.
Always a fantastic selection of beers on tap. Laid back atmosphere. Extra seating out back. And Monks sandwiches is pretty good, too. Thats what youll eat if you get hungry. Belmont Station doesnt have its own kitchen. They have seating inside and outside. Really enjoy this place.
Best beer selection anywhere and super friendly staff. Curbside pickup is so easy and bottle/can list is updated daily.
Aces. These guys know beer and yes they have that. You can call ahead and place an order for pickup AND get some recommendations.
Constantly rotating craft selection from all over but mostly local. Bar staff is very knowledgeable and the attached bottle shop is a candy store for adults. Youll be lucky if you leave spending less than $40 on a mix match of tasty beers. The regular crowd seems very friendly. Wish I lived closer.
So many beer choices! It was a little overwhelming. I liked the layout of the building. Definitely a place to check out if you want to get your hands on some premium bottles of beer.
Always great selections and very polite and knowledgeable staff
Probably the best bottle selection in Portland. They also have good beer on tap and a really good cheese steak food truck outside. I believe they are child friendly so you can stop in and pick up some beers to take home.
Do you like beer!? If thats a yes then this is your Cheers
What a selection! Now in March 2021 the bar is reopening.
A great place for your beer and cider needs! Plus a bar is connect with a good range of beers and killer prices. An awesome neighborhood bar.
Best beer store in pdx
My go to for all European / Belgium beers that I cant find anywhere else. Id be lost without Belmont Station!
Great selection, great service!
Nice place with a great view of the foothills. Metered parking. Nice beer selection. Pizza is very good but I wouldnt call it New Haven style. It doesnt compare to New Haven pizza but its good quality pizza for the West coast.
If you are looking for good alcohol, this is the place to go
Great bottles!
Belmont Station has been a favorite stop of mine since they were right next to the Horse Brass. The full range of beers that they carry is worth a trip.Next door they have a tap-room. With over 20 taps, they likely have something to please. If they dont, then you can purchase in the beer store. You just need the bartender to open it for a small fee.For food, theres a cheese steak cart behind the building. A cheese steak and fries make a fine accompaniment to many of the beers and cider on option.Get in, and raise a glass.
Small shop packed with a great selection of local and regional craft beer. Great place to buy bombers and unique beer styles. Belmont also has a taproom attached with several regional beers. I was happy to be able to try a couple Heretic beers during my visit. I would definitely shop again on my next trip to Portland.
Huge choice of quality beers served up by knowledgeable people. Ive never had a bad experience there. Ive always been able to find new, interesting, and great beers. There are several reasons it keeps showing up on best of lists.
I’m not gonna comment on basic operations here. If you are there to pick out from their selection and pay for it, they seem capable. But I was trying to order a specific keg through them in advance. I called 5 days ahead of time. Explained it was for a party on Saturday. They assured me they’d have it for me at 3pm when I planned to pick it up.I show up at 3 pm on Saturday and the guy behind the counter is rummaging through some papers, then goes “oh I thought we called you, yeah we couldn’t get that keg. Sorry bro”Like I said, pick a bottle off the shelf and pay for it fine. But if you are relying on this place for a bigger order you might get burned like I did. Consider yourself warned.
Wonderful to-go beer selection, if youre looking for something specific they probably have it. They also have a great selection on pints to drink there. If you like beer its definitely worth your time to pay a visit.
The beer selection and, quality are outstanding at Belmont Station, and the staff are always positive and enthused to offer info about their beers. Dont neglect the beers from breweries you havent heard of or a pricetag that scares you. There is so much quality in that store, you will never look back.
Always a great place to pop into. Had some out of town friends and they loved it. If nothing on tap fits your fancy, grab a cold bottle or can from the shop and have them open it for a couple extra bucks. One of the best Portland beer joints!
Need beer? this is the spot. Patio in the back connected to a food cart and a nice bar with many rotating taps and casks. The bar is connected to the actual beer shop, which carries hundreds of beers from all over the world, with a focus on PNW beers. They also have events, sometimes. Minors are allowed during the day.
Love this place. A great spot to get a pint and do some work, catch up with friends, or to grab a beer to go. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good beer.
This place is awesome. They have a huge selection of beers that I havent seen other places. Ive been in there a few time in the past few months and the staff is super helpful and willing to give recommendations if you ask. Its clean and organized although the might not always be the absolute cheapest its always a pleasure to visit.
Great selection!
I used to love going here for their broad selection of beers, but their fees aka increased prices for debit purchases is a pseudo business tactic. Highly recommend John’s Marketplace in SW or Hollywood Bev that is right down the road.
Amazing selection of Belgian and German imports. They had beer that I had only tasted in my travels through Europe. Such a gem of a spot to have in the area.
The best place to drink beer in Portland. That’s it. Shoutout to my girl Haley, she’s cool and knowledgeable.
Great place for an after work beer. Love the intimate feel to the back patio. Amazing selection of bottles to go.
I just had to travel to South Texas for work and nothing around here compares to Belmont Station. I cant wait to get back home and stop back in.
One of the best beer bars on the west coast. Great people and great selection. Bucha peppers Workin there.
Not only do they have a great tap room but also an amazing bottle shop with just about everything you could want. The employees know and love the beer and if there isnt something you want, just ask, they can probably get it for you.
One of the most storied beer destinations in Portland. Unparalleled selection. They are currently renovating their bar, which was previously a rustic Belgian-style spot. The covered back patio is open in the mean time. One weird thing is that the covered patio has no speakers, so despite the fact that they play music inside, it’s always silent in the patio.
Busy, fairly friendly shop. The offerings are pretty extensive and not just focused on Pacific Northwest beer. I have the occasional curatorial beef with them though. My latest: I love winter holiday beers and this years selection was not great. They also stopped carrying them before even Fred Meyer was out! They have always done well, though, with summer offerings and Ive found Kölsch beers there I have seen nowhere else. Definitely worth a visit.
Best bottle shop in SE Portland! The other side is a bar with excellent, ever-changing tap selection. The backside has additional seating and an outdoor area. A food-truck serves edibles for the hungry.
Good selection and cool spot to hang out. My only gripe is that most of the beer selection in store is organized by brewery instead of style which in my opinion is a bit confusing for all those who aren’t as specific brewery-aware.
