If your classic vehicle or muscle car needs repair work to keep you going down the road in style, look no further than the good people at Majhor & Murray. These guys have the knowhow, expertise and decades of firsthand knowledge required to sort your classic car issues. The photos are of a 1919 Cunningham thats been in one family for over a hundred years which was in for some tuning
These are the guys are fantastic! Ill definitely be back.
Had an engine rebuild done on my Ford 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, they cracked the engine block and replaced it with a bored 60 over block that made the new engine function worse than the old engine before I brought it in. In and out of the repair shop for the next 5 years until I saved up enough to have the engine replaced again, thousands of dollars. They also dint tell me that my once numbers matching classic muscle car was no longer numbers matching after they cracked the block. I bought this Ford 1969 Mach 1 Mustang 10/1/1999, it has been a daily driver, I know this car If I could give a minus 100 I would. If there was any justice they would have to pay me for putting in a worse engine than when I came in and cracking the block to my numbers matching Ford 1969 Mach 1 Mustang which I paid about 6K for and for the next 5 years of repair shop bills (10K) for it until I saved up for another engine rebuild from a great engine shop 8.9k for that one and the loss of value to my Ford 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, since it is no longer numbers matching, as time goes on that number keeps getting bigger and bigger. Dont let them touch your car.
The team here is great to work with and has extensive experience/knowledge about the classics. I got turned on to them by another muscle car fanatic and have had my car serviced here for the last 4 years. If you have a classic car and need routine maintenance or more detailed repairs these are the only team to work with in town!
This classic automobile repair shop has been around almost forever. Helpful and friendly staff. The only place to take your pre-seventies American classic car.
Great job on fixing my 63 Nova
I want to say the experience was outstanding 👏 👌 when it comes to my vintage cars I am very caring ❤ they took excellent care...
Hope that their as good as recommended. Got appointment for early Jan.
This is my favorite shop in the area. Mostly vintage iron being looked at. A 69 Z28, 69 Mach 1 and 70 Duster 340 car just to list a few.
I have been taking my classic car to Majhor & Murray for about twenty years. They have always taken care of any problem I have had. They do excellent work for a reasonable price.
I purchased a 1954Ford. It had been restored, but I needed some updating. Had it switched from being a 6 volt system to todays 12 volt, power steering, modern brakes. They specialize in collector cars. They are known for their work. They itemize down to the last nut and bolt.
You pay for what you get and what you get is the best. Great mechanics. Great customer service. Extremely friendly. If you have a car with a carburetor this is the place to go. My Ford Galaxie 500 coup purrs! No wonder you have to book a time in advance. TOP NOTCH!
The folks here where very welcoming and very helpful!I brought in a carburetor that had no tag on it.Not a problem for these folks! They figured it out had it back in my hands in three days! It was gleaming clean, brand new everything and even came with advice on reinstalling!I bolted it back on my truck and shes running better then ever!Thank you again, to the folks at my new found fix it shop!
The work that Majhor and Murray performed was exceptional.
Wasnt there. Stuck in traffic next to it. Looked interesting. Thats all.
This is a true auto shop versus a chain store. This is where old school cars go to be properly repaired and maintained. Is this the place for your Ford focus or Toyota. ...no. A C2 Corvette, Cobra, Pantera or the like. ....best bet in town.
This is the place to go in PDX for classic vehicle repair. They did a great job on my 51 GMC; fixing an electrical issue and repairing the brakes. I highly recommend them.!
They correctly diagnosed the problem with my old truck, fixed it with a recycled part from their inventory and had me on my way for half of what I expected it to cost and they fixed two minor things I didnt mention for no extra cost. Murray was funny and smart, but also will not let you waste his time with car stories, which I respect. I will totally go back. This is THE place for your old school car.
I wanted to like them, but unfortunately I cannot give a good review. I spent a lot of money here to have them rebuild the carburetor, and replace the belts. They gave it back to me with loose fuel lines without clamps, fuel line sucking air, had poor spray pattern, and dripped fuel onto the accelerator. They removed fuel pump filter and did not replace it which led to a lot of debris in there. Sloppy weld job on the replaced manifold. They replaced my belts - and one them was screeching bad when I got it. I called them back asking them to fix their work - which they improved upon with the belt - but the carb got worse after the second time. Ive gone to a different spot now, and hope to have better luck but I will never go here again.
Great place. Fast reliable and quality work!
