After talking to every shop in town that happens to have a tire machine, these guys were willing to help me out. I came to them with a 25 year old tire, and explained my situation to them. I wanted this to put this particular tire on my spare wheel because it is the same tire that was used in the Jurassic Park movie. Every single tire shop I called refused to help me, even when I explain that this tire was just a show piece and would never be used as an actual tire, just because it was too old. The guys here actually listened to what I had to say, and were more than happy to do this for me. The guy that mounted my tire was extremely careful not to scratch the paint on my wheel. Furthermore, he was even willing to rotate the tire after mounting so that the white lettering would be in the same position as the jeep in the movie. I am very happy with their service and they have definitely earned a loyal customer.

Typically we have taken our cars to Midas but recently my husband needed to have his car towed but when we called midas to tell them it was coming they said they could no longer take it after telling us they could and after we already had the car on the tow truck! We called this Meineke and were greeted by a friendly staff who said they would make time! We had it towed there and it was fixed the same day!!! We were super grateful and the customer service was excellent!

Went in for an oil change and was told that we needed EXTENSIVE front end repairs at a cost of $3,000 plusGot a second opinion at Less Schwab and was told that everything looked good. Go figure!Meineke manager was a good guy, but I think next time will try somewhere else.

I had a check engine light that after resetting it a couple times, it kept coming back on indicating a deeper issue. Meineke was able to perform a smoke test and find a couple of leaks. Repair was made and we are back in good shape again. Happy with their service being prompt and professional.

Got brake pads and rotors in October 2020 from Meineke. It is now June and during my oil change was told my brakes and rotors they did are warped bad. So are they going to replace them? I have 47k on the 2013 Jetta, not like I drove much. It’s absolute bull that they won’t help the situation as they did not inspect my brakes or components when they did the work. If they did this warping wouldn’t be happening nearly as bad as they say it is. They quoted me over $200 more than brake force which is down the road less than a half mile, to fix the rotors and brakes.I am not happy at all and I was the one who picked up Starbucks for them when they did my oil change. Sucks when you are nice and taken advantage of.

Friendly service and All was great till I got in the car…there were black grease mark on the floorboards both in the drivers side and the passenger side and even on the door! Most places use disposable mats to prevent that from happening …very disappointing.

Ive been a Meineke supporter for years because I normally receive good professional service where they dont try and sell me on unnecessary things. Unfortunately this past experience left me in search of a new go-to place. I made an appointment in advance and showed up on time. I waited outside the door as there were people in the office until space cleared. It took the attendant 20 minutes to acknowledge my existence and only after a Caucasian customer pointed out I had been waiting and should take precedence. I thanked her and tried to be courteous about how things can get busy, but was told that Yeah, Saturdays can be some peoples last day to get things done since were closed on Sundays so I try and get in as many people as possible. Which, fine, except I did have an appointment. I left as there was a sign saying they no longer allow people to remain in the office due to Covid regulations, which I understand and respect. Upon returning I again waited outside until the office cleared, waited another 5 minutes before, instead of any kind of greeting, was immediately berated on how I had let my car go too long before an oil change and had all of these things that were wrong. Then a car pulled up and I was told that I was going to wait because the person who just pulled up needed to be cashed out because they had been waiting longer than I, despite my being outside for 10 minutes and inside for 5. I exited to office to allow space for this more important customer before coming back in to pay and be told I could tell you about what needs to be fixed, but you look like you want to leave. Fair, I did. Whats normally an hour long errand was now an hour and a half and this man had pulled his mask down below his mouth multiple times while in the enclosed office space, which made me feel very unsafe. The mechanic who initially pulled my car around (they had to do it twice due to an issue with the change oil alert not turning off) also did not wear a mask while in my vehicle. I left this experience feeling like my health and safety were violated and, while usually not sensitive to micro-aggressions, I did feel like as a woman of color I was not made a priority.

Sad to say, I returned to Meineke because of their honest and good service. I had an appointment that was to take an hour, so I decided to walk around instead of getting a ride. After 1.5 hours, I saw that my car was still in the same place and had not yet been worked on. 2 hours later, the car was ready and they wanted to charge me more than the quoted 69.95 that I was quoted for everything and added the cost of the special filter. When I questioned that, the person behind the counter was very rude, and instead of discussing the difference between the standard oil change price and the increase, he said there is a lot of problems with my car, and listed them off and was ready to make another appointment to get them fixed. I kept getting the run around, rather ignored about the difference in cost and he said, just to get rid of you, Ill let you get away with the 69.00 (Seriously?) I was not rude, I knew the last time, the cost was the standard 69.95 and asked why the difference this time. His attitude was disrespectful and demeaning. He made me feel valueless as a customer, like an idiot for not paying more and for not wanting to make an appointment to replace my oil pan. If I wanted to go to Jiffy Lube, for the same treatment, I would have. Good-bye Meineke.

I used to use Meineke in Hillsboro. When I moved to tigard I found this location just as friendly and helpful. They never start anything without talking me first. They provide detailed estimates and break things down so that I can understand without making me feel like dumb. I appreciate them. My parents Are mechanics in NM and I have checked with them about the prices snd labor costs from Meineke and they are fair. I am grateful to have them and that they are so close to my house.

Meineke has been my mechanic of choice for some time. They are honest and do quality work. This location was by far the best location Ive been to so far. They were kind and made sure to treat my car right.

For all those single woman who are terrified, as well as everyone else, this is a place for same day diagnostic and repair. Chuck was kind enough to fit me in right away and do a diagnostic test. Today I drove around four shops and couldn’t get in anywhere with services giving me a 2 week appointment. With a starter problem one cannot wait. Here I was in and out in 35 mins. Chuck is Professional, shockingly inexpensive compared to all others shops near him. This Meineke shop is my GO TO MECHANIC moving forward. Peace of mind giver. Thank you so much for your service. I came in recently with a check engine light on my 1993 Ranger (too old to have an OBD-II port). At the time I didnt know how to pull the diagnostic codes myself.They quoted me somewhere around $170 to read the codes for me. They justified it by saying its a very difficult, lengthy process, and if any other place told me otherwise, they didnt know what they were doing.I left, and did some research. I successfully read the codes myself at home, using just a paper clip as a jumper wire. Once you know how to do it, its ridiculously easy!Needless to say, I wont be coming back to Meineke.

I recommend Meineke for a used car inspection. They are fair in doing an inspection and dont use scare tactics to sell their services. Finding a mechanic like that is near impossible. Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised. I recommend that my customers go here for their used car inspection, so Im hoping people reading this will do the same

I asked for a plugs change. Didnt go good first. Then they got it figured out. Same day. No extra charges. Took an extra hour. Not a problem cause they were on time anyway.

The check emissions light came on in my 2009 Acura TSX, and the vehicle began sputtering and driving quite poorly.I Google searched shops near me and meineke came up at the top of the list. I called in and Jacob answered on the second ring. He was extremely helpful and extremely professional. at the time they werent able to get my car in but he made an appointment for the following day as soon as they had an opening.I took my vehicle in at the scheduled time spoke with Jacob at which point he told me what their intentions were for diagnosing the problem and told me he would call me as soon as they knew it was wrong.He called me less than 10 minutes later and informed me exactly what repairs needed to be done and then said he would call me back once he had a work order prepared.when he called me back for the total, I was shocked at what the cost was going to be, but when he explained exactly what needed to be done and the parts necessary it made complete sense.I gave them to go ahead to start the repairs. while I was waiting for them to do the work, I called three other shops and asked what they would charge to do similar work and all of them were more expensive.Jacob and the team at meineke got my car finished in under 6 hours and returned to me same day.The vehicle has never run better!!From the initial phone call all the way through until receiving my car back Jacob and the entire staff at meineke were absolutely professional and completely easy to deal with.Thank you gentlemen for not being the stereotypical repair shop that promises one thing and delivers another, and overcharges for repairs because theres no one there to check up on them.I could not recommend Jacob and this particular meineke Moore if you need a repair, that they can do for you, take it to them you will not be sorry.THANK YOU GENTLEMEN!!!

They said they would give me 20% off from dealerships estimate for brake pads replacement on the phone. However when I went there they offered only 15% off which was still same price as dealer service. I went there because I thought I could save some money. I decided to have them to work on it. They said it would take 1 to 1.5 hour to finish. However I had to wait for FOUR HOURS to be done. The manager/owner said they dont know why that technician was taking so long. NONSENSE!! It seemed like he fabricated anyhow from incipient. They offered me tiny tiny bit more discount because of delays. But still I wouldnt go that meineke shop in Oregon city ever again.

I love taking my car here! I have been coming here for about three or four years and I wouldnt change them. So far, I have only done oil changes but I love their service. Theyre friendly, their prices are very affordable, and they are really good about fitting you in for an appointment. Something very important to me is that theyve never asked me to do things in my car that my car doesnt need. I mention this because every other place where I have taken my car before, always tries to scare me telling me that I need to change my air filter. But they dont do that here. They will only tell you is needed if your car actually needs it.Im not sure if this is still true or not, but I think every Meineke has a different owner so I can only speak for the one on Hwy 99 near Tigard Oregon. I definitely reccomend this place!

I took my Pontiac G6 here with a broken flex pipe after a different shop told me my exhaust was too rusty to weld on and I would need to replace a catalytic converter for over $800. As soon as the shop owner here looked at the exhaust, he said that the rust was bad, but only in one spot and he could just cut that spot out and weld a new flex pipe in place. He was able to do that in less than 2 hours for only $230. I saved $600 coming here and whenever I have a problem with my car thats too big for me to handle, I plan to come here from now on. This shop is awesome.

I’ve been going to this Meineke for the past few years. They’ve struggled in the past, but current management and techs seem to have turned the place around! They helped replace my brakes under warranty and get me back on the road without breaking the bank. Looking forward to making my next appointment for my 100,000 mile maintenance.

This place went above and beyond in the repair of our minivan, despite many issue that arose. The price was reasonable and as quoted. Tom the mechanic worked many hours overtime to get the job done. We will be taking our business here from now on.

I have had exceptional service since coming here at the start of this year. Mark, the shop manager is an incredibly kind and honest guy. Their team of mechanics are hard working and will take you in the back to point out and explain things they find on your car. I had a squeak and rattle for several years that a Nissan shop couldnt find after bringing it in over and over again over the years. Finally, their mechanic Tom finds out its a couple of small loose parts in a headlight as well as my spare tire being completely flat. Once he fixed all that for free, the rattle was gone! Ive never been happier and its improved my experience as a part time Lyft driver! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone, and I have! Theyre running a good and honest business, which is hard to find in the mechanic world these days. Thank you guys!!!

My favorite mechanics in town.Honest, affordable, clean and Honest.Writing “honest” again as this is very important to me when choosing a mechanic.I brought in my car yesterday for an inspection as an ODM trouble code showed an issue with the categoric converter.I was fearing that I would have to replace the cat but instead, Chuck suggested a fuel service which fixed the issue. Saved me tons of money when other mechanics could have easily up-sold me a fuel service in addition to a new OEM Cat and most likely find some other issue that they would claim to threaten my life if I drove the car way without fixing it.Sorry, I’m almost 60 and have run into many untrustworthy repair shops and especially dealers that rob car owners of their hard earn income.Thanks Chuck to you and your team!!You guys are awesome!Thanks again!

We had unexpected Mechanical problems while visiting family in Tigard for a funeral. When we called, Chuck answered and told us to come over immediately. He let us store our Uhaul trailer in the garage while he worked on the car and then overnight while we waited for a part to come in. He was communicative and accurate in his prediction of timing. Im just going to say that when I called Meineke to complain about this place they sound diverse and understanding but these guys very put offish and after I waited for 15 minutes in the lobby like a gentleman to be helped, funny thing happened I dont get helped instead with his back turned to me he says very sharp were booked okay any other times I said just to see if this was what I thought it was, agian very sharp with his back turned to me he says Monday thats it, I finally get a little fed up with his attitude and I had to ask him to turn around and talk to me face to face when Im attempting to spend money in your astblishment, by this time Ive had enough of this bully so I look him right in hes eyes and walk out very disappointed. (Theres Im sad to say a very RACIST undertone to this location) and that sucks because there prices are pretty good compared to their rivals.

Had a very bad experience with them about two months ago. I will describe it from my perspective that is probably subjective but definitely includes objective facts.I had my car pass a first inspection with them, then did the repairs they recommended. A couple months after, smoke is blowing from the hood. Took it in. Said the radiator was leaking. They replaced radiator + condenser for more than $700. A few days after, my car starts overheating on the highway. Took it back in. Air bubbles were not removed from the new radiator. They said they fixed it. A few days after, overheating again. They then came up with a leak in the water pump, which I didnt believe given that the overflow thank was full. Took it to another shop, where they confirmed the leak but said the problem is more likely due to the blown head gasket due to the previous overheating episodes. That would cost a couple grands, i.e. almost the price of the car (Honda Civic 2003). So I gave up and sold it for nothing. Spent a total of almost $1800 on that car that I had had for 4 months, to end up with no car, and it is likely due to the radiator not correctly installed (was the radiator the actual problem in the first place? Ill never know), that led to the car overheating and the blown head gasket.Now this is my opinion based on this experience: they are not good mechanics. They just follow a checklist without listening to the symptoms/cues you tell them, and have you pay for the repairs for whatever doesnt pass their checklist, even if it is not the source of the main problem. Then they just let you come back if that didnt fix the problem. And you end up on the highway shoulder, waiting for your car to cool down or calling a tow truck.The service was very nice all along, except when I came back after my car had overheated twice in a week. They do not know how to handle conflicts and customers that have a good reason to be annoyed.I wish I had a better experience. I will never go back to a Meineke car center again. Found another mechanic who thinks before he looks.

Polite, effective, and Ive never had a delay string out for unexplained reasons once.And the mechanics story matches the desk guys story every time, so you know its not a BS place.Their desk guy doesnt like RockAuto for some reason tho - tends to reflexively start with midrange parts in his quotes, too~ Work itself hasnt failed once though, and Ive been piecemealing a 2003 SUV from snow and salty Detroit back to life thanks to their ability to always get it done. 5 stars, without asterisks.

I went to get my timing chain done at this mieneke paid 1,200$ and I will never get ANYTHING done at mieneke ever again. They put the chain on backwards and kept telling me the check engine light was something else. They told me to put 1,000 miles on it to have everything start working together. Well two weeks later I went back and they said my car was just toast that theres nothing else they could do. So I took my car to a different mechanic and got that check engine light out and sure enough thats when I found out they put the chain on wrong... so if they were that stupid to not realize that from the start. I asked for my money back because I dont even want them near my car again. My engine could have been totaled.What they said to me your car is broken and isnt fixable.I said can I please have my money back so I can go some where elseThey said thank you for your service have a great dayThen they hung up on me.So because they are so unprofessional I have to threw the process of corporate customer service threw mieneke to try and get my money back. To rectify there error.

Went in due to a misfiring piston. Was due to my lack of maintenance. Was told about a few issues I knew needed addressing and I took care of the ones I could afford at the time.( fuel filter, Transmission cooling lines and the tune up) Perfect service in my eyes. I took my car in because my low beam lights & tail lights werent working & i knew the problem wasnt the bulb because my parking, brake & high beam lights worked. So they tell me its probably because of the switch wiring that turns on the lights... after almost 2 hours they come and tell me that they got my tail lights on but not the low beam lights and say the problem might be the switch that controls the turning signal, windshield wipers etc and then they tell me it might be another hour. I told them never mind because I didnt have time to wait for another couple of hours... especially since they werent sure what the REAL problem was. So I paid almost $300 just for them to turn on the TAIL LIGHT & not know exactly whats going on with the low beam light. Such a rip off.

Reasonably good place to take your vehicle for preventive maintenance and other issues. I ended up taking my vehicle here one time for an oil change and other than a slight snafu in scheduling and them not being ready at my appointment time it really wasnt that bad. I think I might go somewhere else for future changes but the service was decently quick and the people were friendly.I wouldnt turn anyone away from here and would generally recommend them but I only know them from the oil change standpoint.

I have become a long time customer of this Mineke location. Darrell and the weekend staff are 100% on their game and I only trust them to work on my vehicle. They are very accommodating and have bent over backwards for me. I recently moved to Vancouver and still drive the extra mileage to bring my business to this location.

Didnt fix my car appropriately, so I had to take it back in to fix the rest of the problems that were not taken care of the first time. When their customer service representative met me there 2nd time, he was discourteous and didnt apologized about not finishing the job and me having to bring my car back in. Only regional manager apologized a few times and was very understanding.

Fixed my car fast and at a great price. Would definitely use again!

I was here yesterday and the service was excellent and the people were very honest. Tom did a great job on my truck, I recommend this place.
