HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. ELLEN was rude, condescending and an absolute pig on the phone. They did not honor their contract. Ruined my new cabinets. Thousands of dollars wasted and had to deal with an extremely disrespectful BITC*!!!!.I would not recommend this cabinet shop to anyone, ever!! I am just agast at how they chose to deal with this.DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO STONE & CABINET OUTLET of Portland!NO RECOMMENDATIONS FROM US.

Got some materials and a few installs with them not too far back and they are always kind and hard workers. I run a business as well and if you run one you know how crazy it can be so I appreciate their input.

Installers were not very kind. Commenting on how many children I have (5) and chuckling Scratched my fridge when Installing. The fridge was new. One installer smoked and put his cigarette out NEXT to my counter while it was in truck. They left razor blades on our countertop. They blended in and i didnt see them until my hand went across the top. The prices here are good. Ellen was the nicest one but the service made them lose a costumer.

Literally the rudest people I have ever encountered. Didn’t even look at my husband and I as we walked in. We are doing a huge kitchen renovation and found this company through a recommendation, but seriously take your business elsewhere. We walked around for about 10 mins and no one got up to ask us if we needed help. They were arguing about customers while we were in the store and then when we went up to ask a few questions the younger woman couldn’t even be bother to look away from her computer. I was so offended at how ignored I felt and even asked if she had a few mins for other questions expecting some small resemblance of any customer service. She couldn’t have been bothered to even look my direction for longer than 2 second to give a short answer and then promptly went back to typing on her computer. My husband and I both work in Management and honestly if any of my employees ever acted this way to customers they would have been fired on the spot. I am not exaggerating it was the worst experience I have ever received. I cannot express this enough...take your money elsewhere. They DONT deserve it!!!

Walked in, 3 employees were sitting at their computers. None were on the phone and we were the only customers in the stores. They didnt bother looking up from their computers, no greeting at all. Asked one a question and got the vaguest answer. Stood there a second then left. We will take our business elsewhere. I run a business and this is no way to make a sale happen.

Granite quality was as expected for the outlet price. However, the installers were considerably more professional and qualified than we expected. They came out within 2 days of our order. The installers paid close attention to detail and were meticulous. They cut the sink on site and it was perfect...incredible for a hand cut. (Im still analyzing it, trying to figure how he did that free hand...surely there must be a mistake, but it really looks great). The silicon caulking lines are very neat and precise, as was the one seam in the L-shaped corner. They left the kitchen in cleaner condition than when they arrived.

There are other shops in town that give good service. I asked them to come back and drill one more faucet hole in the counter. They just flatly refused. LOL these guys are funny in how they treat a 10000 customer in past business. Let alone can imagine if you were a new one. They cant manage very well.

First off let me start with the good, the installers were nice and do good work. Now for the bad, after months of searching for the perfect counters we finally found a piece of granite we absolutely fell in love with. It was the thing I was most excited for in our kitchen remodel. When they came to install the counters the slabs looked NOTHING like what I had paid for. I repeatedly asked if this was the correct product. They said they brought all larger slabs (36” and 52” wide) to do the kitchen because the smaller slabs looked so different (like the one in the store that I had picked out) and since we have an island we had to have a 36” slab. So they knew prior to bringing the slabs to my house that the larger slabs looked so different that they couldn’t even use them together but failed to call. Instead they brought them hoping I wouldn’t care/notice. So I talked to a lady at the store who then proceeded to tell me I need to purchase an additional remnant because the stone was only available in 98”. I explained I paid for 110” slabs so I felt I shouldn’t have to pay for any additional materials as I had paid for enough to cover my counters. She hesitantly agreed to not charge me more. Ellen attempted to find me another option but without being able to see the slabs in person (I was working during all of this) it made it impossible to pick a new countertop. I was continuously told they just wanted to get the project over with today and felt so pressured to say yes that I finally just did. I regret it though. I now have to live with counters I don’t like for the next 10-15 years. My suggestion is either be flexible or go somewhere that you can pick out your slab. My suggestion for SCO is to sell this granite under a completely different name because they are so different and have your customers see the slabs before purchasing.

Ellen was the person we primarily worked with. She visited our home and listened closely to our desires. Set a tlme her installers would be coming so we could be ready.They arrived and immediately went work. The next day the countertops arrived. They had to work extra time to get it all finished.We were not just satisfied but loved what Ellen had designed and the installers complished.Don and Tali Funderburg

2/3 staff members we delt with were rude and unorganized. They had no idea where our order was when we came to pick it up. We had called to make sure it was ready and we were told it was. They ended up having our order under the wrong name. They also drilled one hole for our sink when we had requested 3. We were getting ready to leave when we realize they didnt give us the backsplash piece we ordered. They had to go look for that. The drawers ended up on the wrong side of the vanity than we wanted. Overall I am very unhappy and would not recommend them to anyone. Go somewhere else, youll be glad you did.

Im still waiting on my small cabinet order, but if you care about customer service or hand holding, this place is not for you. My contractor really likes them, but Ill be using Ikea or Barker for my larger projects just because I prefer the guarantee, quality, product knowledge and attention to detail of those organizations. Small bathroom vanity or home bar, check. Large kitchen project, hell no. If you must, wait for Ellen. Plus for anything major I want Blum hardware. They couldnt tell me anything but soft close. Valspar paint is used on exterior, plywood frame, mdf fronts I dont think they will have a bunch of formaldehyde, but who knows...

We purchased cabinets and granite to be installed at a later date. We are at the point of installing and realized we dont have enough crown molding for the cabinets and the manager is unwilling to work with us even tho we paid for it.
