A neighbor was looking for a place to have a camera repaired, and fortunately, I remembered reading about Portland Camera Service in a neighborhood newspaper.The stores website provided useful information about repairs, but from a more selfish point of view, it also listed items they had for sale. I had been looking for a particular brand and focal length lens, and they had a previously owned one in stock for a great price.The transaction was just what I hoped for. I quickly received confirmation that it was ready for pickup, and my item was packaged and ready for me by the time I made the trip to the store. Trying it out was no problem, and I was in and out quickly, after a lovely conversation with the gentleman behind the counter.Ive got a new favorite place to look for camera gear, and, should the need arise to have any of it fixed, a new place at the top of my list.

Great customer service. I was having an issue with my pictures having an arch type shadow on them. I had a feeling I needed my sensor cleaned however, I was in a huge hurry and didnt have time to wait to get it done. They looked and found a large hair on my sensor so instead of doing a cleaning they removed the hair and I was on my way, no charge. What great guys! I will definitely be taking it back for a proper cleaning. THANK YOU!!!

My battery was stuck in my camera so I popped into this store with hopes they would be able to assist. Not only were they able to remove it but they also provided some good information for future use. They were very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend them for your camera needs.

Super glad we stopped into this reality new shop. Amazing customer service. My partner posted on a camera group about needing a waterproof bag for his camera. They replied almost immediately that they had them in stock. When we showed up the person who replied even recognized him. They got us set up with a few things we have been searching for. They have all kinds of new and used equipment. Great for people just starting out and answered all of our questions perfectly. They have a technician and can even look over old film cameras. The person helping us was super knowledgeable and was super chill and not pushy at all. They want to help you find the equipment that will work for you, not just sell you stuff. I have no doubt that this place will treat you right and have what you are looking for.

Staff is very knowledgeable and they fixed the lens right away while I was waiting. It is definitely worth the drive all the way from Camas.
