The employee name Dory when I call to ask if they had the odd size I needed she texted me pictures and prices we went there and the owner blessed us with a great price and helped us out with extra carpet padding also I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We have used Great Floors for two projects in our home, and had excellent service both times. The first project was when we were looking for a large rug to fit our living room. I was able to purchase a roll of carpet, and they cut and bound the edges for me. They did a great job and even bound the extra scrap that was left-over on the roll at no cost, giving us two additional rugs!We also recently had a small section of carpet replaced/added in our home, steps and a small landing. I measured the area myself, and it took less than 10 minutes to choose and purchase the carpet while at the store. They dont install the carpet, but they work with contractors and scheduled it for us while I was at the store. The carpet installer was on time and very professional.

Dishonest Sales/Owner BradI asked give me a price for my house to be carpeted with installation and everything else included.I pay them. Then a week later installer say that will be 275 dollars. I told him I already paid. I call the owner and he says see that little number on the top of you receipt? L275 that means you owe thisI told him he needed to communicate that better. He said he always has done this way. He doesnt care about his customers.

This place was recommended to me by my uncle, who used them for quite a lot of house-flip projects. Its not a fancy show-floor like the big names, but the owner (Brad) is a great guy, knows his stuff, and doesnt try to talk up the warrantees that generally turn out to be practically useless anyway. Got a very nice carpet & pad at a decent price (Marions could beat it by a little if they tried) and great installers. Steve & Shannon(or Sandy?) have done most of my uncles installs (and thus came recommended by name), and it turns out they were the ones who installed the upstairs carpet in my own house when it was still his rental. They were very accommodating of the question areas I had (I ran and got wood panels for a front entry while they were working on the rest of the house, and they set up some edges for my future framing project) and did a great job all around. Next up is theyll edge the remnants for free so we have some spare rugs as needed.

Great service, selection and installers

These folks have huge awesome show room in NE Portland. The prices are awesome and Brad is vey helpful and has a ton of knowledge.

I was expecting the carpet I bought to be cut straight but it wouldnt line up with a single wall. Edges were super jagged and it was over priced at 90 cents a square foot for a low grade remnant. I will not be going back to this store.
