It’s unfortunate that 6 stars aren’t an option because if they were, Azar Indulgences would get every one of those six. Everything is so amazing, you can’t go wrong, I promise you. My personal favorite is the Cardamom Nougat and my partner’s is the White Chocolate Berry Cheesecake. So so good!! And if you like pistachios, oh man oh man, so many pistachio treats to choose from. But again, everything is amazing. And not only is it a high quality, delicious product, but their customer service is phenomenal. I wasn’t able to make it to the shop to pick up my order but they offered delivery for just $5.00. Well worth it. And the fact that it’s a female owned business to me is the cherry on top. Oh, and speaking of... the Dark Chocolate Bing Cherries... Aychihuahua.... so good. Keep up the good work Azar Indulgences, you’ve earned a customer for LIFE!!!

Bottom line: You will not regret stopping here!Amazing chocolate, great coffee, unbelievably friendly!We were walking by with our dog when we stopped to let the owner meet our dog. The owner invited us inside and was incredibly friendly and genuinely nice. We sampled some chocolate and of course bought a bunch. The next day, I was walking our dog and the owner stepped out to greet us. She invited us in again and gave me some coffee on the house. I bought some more coffee and of course more chocolate! We were just visiting Portland but will definitely visit Azar Indulgences when we come back!

I purchased a variety of goodies from AZAR Indulgences while staying in Portland. My husband and I were floored by the brownies we got and each chocolate brought a different experience. The owner is upbeat and passionate about her products and made suggestions based on the flavors my husband and I enjoy. She hit the nail on the head and we both loved every bite of our treats.

What a great little shop! The wine and chocolate selections are stellar. The little signs you can buy are an added bonus. Its always clean and organized. The owner is a gem. She takes all the time she needs to help everyone who steps foot into her shop. Highly recommended!!!

Traveled to Portland in April of 2017, I got to my hotel and just wanted some wine and a movie to relax. The little shop in the base of my hotel (Embassy Suites) was a cute nifty looking place, and decided to pop in. Christine is absolutely amazing, both as a very professional, intelligent, business woman and now a great friend. She is very knowledgeable about ALL the products in her store, and the chocolates and wine I had were all amazing. She even went out of her way to ship some to Canada for me this Christmas! Wonderful woman, wonderful local store, I would recommend anyone to go out of their way to try AZAR Indulgences out. Support your local businesses!

Well, first I will say Rachel Honeywell probably doesnt know the difference between Velveeta and brie, either. The chocolates at Azar are first class. Very rich and creamy and delicious as well as beautifully decorated and packaged. Their wine selection is wonderful. The chocolates and wine make a classy, indulgent gift or treat.

Im dont have a sweet tooth but for gift candy this place is great. Its not cheap but its selection is superb.

We have to stop here every time we stay at the Embassy Suites here in Portland! The service is amazing and the chocolates are delicious! They have a shop at the Heathman Hotel as well. These chocolates are so wonderfully decadent and make great gifts...unless I decide to keep them for myself!

Christine, the owner is amazing number one. Her customer service alone is 5 stars. The wine selection and chocolates are to die for. I needed a gift set for a prize for my clients and she got right on it! I didnt have time to choose so she did everything for me and couldnt be happier with her choice! Unfortunately, my experience with AZAR Indulgences was less than I had hoped. First, the store is well put together and has a variety of chocolates. I purchased several different kinds, and while I did enjoy a few of them, they were not worth the price in my personal opinion. The owner is very friendly and has a great sales spiel regarding these Belgian chocolates vs. American chocolate (and how horrible American chocolate is). Maybe I am too American and just enjoy the simpler things, but I did not find the chocolates in this store any better than what I could buy from Ghirardelli at Walgreens. I would not go back if I was to return to the area. If you are rich or purchasing a gift, go for it. Otherwise, you are probably better off picking up some chocolates from the mall or a drugstore.
