Broadway has been around for a lot of years, the owner and the managers know cigars, and I mean know em. Come in, tell them what you like and you will walk away happy. Let me start by saying I know nothing about cigars. My wifes grandmother recently passed, widowing her 93 year old grandfather. I know he has smoked two Dutch Masters a day since before I was born (43 years ago). I wanted to get him something nice to let him know how much we care about him. The guys at Broadway Cigar Co listened to my story and helped me select a box of cigars that he would truly appreciate. I cant thank the owner/staff for going above and beyond for us. Whenever I am in town this is my go to place to smoke a cigar and meet new people in the lounge. They have a nice walk in-humidor and a front, back and private club lounge area. There are plenty of comfortable leather chairs or couches to sit on as well as former barber chairs. There is even a shoe shine in the front room. The service by Brian, I guess the owner, is fantastic. Hes very friendly to everybody. I wish the cigar selection was larger and included more sticks under $10 as I am not considering myself to be an aficionado. Less expensive cigars would attract ppl who are curious about cigars and non aficionados. Not everybody wants to spend 15 or 20+ bucks on a cigar. I personally like the longer Churchill models as they provide a cooler smoke for a longer time, however the humidor does not have many of those. Another big plus for this place is the fact that you can smoke a cigar right there in the lounge and if you are in the mood for a conversation there is always somebody to talk with. There is a great camaraderie between the cigar smokers. Go check it out.

Happened upon this place after dropping my daughter off to her mother for our Thanksgiving visit. Pleasantly surprised by the rich and luxurious interior as it was a stark contrast from the outside. The gentleman working was very pleasant and accommodating and gave me a shop tour after I walked in and let him know I was from out of town. This place is the epitome of the MAN CAVE. If I was Portland Local Id be a local here. These places are hard to find. 5+ Stars for Broadway Cigar.

Great shop real chill, it’s a place I go when I need fifteen minutes to myself. The back lounge is so comfortable, the low lighting lends itself to a calming state, it’s a place of rejuvenation and to reset your mind. The cigar collection is wide and varied, and Billy is an overall great guy, informative, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. It’s my oasis in the desert’s cacophony

Was driving from Seattle through Portland when I came across this treasure. An awesome little lounge with very knowledgeable staff and a fantastic selection. I walked in, newish to the pass time but was met with support, and some very awesome suggestions. Ended up picking up a few sticks, all very different to try them, and got an awesome discount on a travel humidor. Im hoping to make it back in to smoke in the lounge on my way back.Also they apparently have shoe shines which is just amazing.

This was my 1st time going into Broadway Cigar Company the experience was great. I was treated with respect and sells person was point on with what I liked to smoke. Told him what I been smoking he give him some others choices and I pick up a couple of them. The one I did choose to smoke has great taste and get 30 minute and went great with my 10 year old scotch whiskey.

Do not smoke cigars often. I stopped in here after work and on a way to a friends house to indulge after a long week. Brian was very friendly and helpful and I didnt feel dumb for not knowing anything about cigars. He suggested I attend one of his cigar classes and I think I will definitely be back for the class and more.

I can not say enough about how much I enjoy this place and the people that run it. Brian is an amazing cigar salesman with knowledge for days. Nothing like enjoying a nice cigar in one of their many comfy chairs and if youre lucky youll hear Bryan singing some tunes while strumming his guitar :)

This shop is a destination. If you want to impress your friends and colleagues, this is the place to come. Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly customers. You never know who you might bump in to here. You can also get your shoes shined here. Greg is a magician when it comes to leather. Hell take anything you give him and make it better than new when you get it back.

Read the reviews on here and decided to go. As others have stated Bryan is an awesome guy. My first time in Oregon and he made me feel welcome, showed me around, and had great conversation. Great environment, excellent lounge, and good selection of cigars (as well as very good house cigars). Any time Im in Portland I will be going back.

One of my favorite cigars shops. First time in they showed me the entire shop. If I lived in Portland (I would never, I am not a hybrid guy) this would be my spot! So the guy working, lets refer to him as the Cigar Wizard this dude must have gone to a Cigar College, he knows more about cigars than anyone I have ever met! Picked the right sticks for me for sure! Its a Lounge where a guy can relax with a fine cigar! Its not just a small store. Comfortable sofas and recliner chairs, big screen tv with games or movies, good coffee and everybody friendly. Awesome.

Blown away - yes, really! - by the relaxing atmosphere and friendly people making us feel at home. The cigar suggested to me was spot on for my taste (thx, Brian!), and we enjoyed every minute we were there. Bringing more friends with us next time.

Some things I like and some I didn’tDidn’t like--Cigar smoke is so thick I could bearly stand there to pay for my stick. Upgrade the hvac or separate areas. When I left my clothes smelled like smoke all day. I don’t smell that bad after I smoke myself.-The smoking area is way too close to the humidor. You can smell smoke when you walk into the humidor. I don’t want to pay $15 for a stick that has been tainted by your smoking.-the selection was OK nothing to write home about.-the area is not that great of a location. No parking, had to park illegally two blocks away-prices were a little highWhat I did like--it was clean-smoking area was very nice but crowded. Nowhere to hang out and smoke. It was overrun by regulars who were all smoking at the same time, shop owner included. 6 sticks burning at the same time was way too much-Shop owner was super nice and helpful

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy a cigar. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Right now Im Smoking a My Father Connecticut while watching Sports Center. Cant beat that!

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, great place to strike a match and strike up a conversation.I originally visited the Broadway Cigar to get a shoe shine and was intrigued to find this unique; little, hotspot there was a welcome treat in my day. Do I dont smoke cigars, I found the place to be dark and broody, dark colors on the wall, stylish leather furniture and dimly-lit. There are several of large rooms and smaller intimate areas that guests can snuggle into, and either sit and read a book, beyond their laptop or monopolize the large screen televisions for their own entertainment to escape life for a while.The gentleman who was there to greet me was friendly talkative and didnt push a single sale of any kind on to me. I found the shoe polish professional named, Gregory, to be friendly, smart, talkative and funny. He continue to work while he chatted and his polishing was second to none. He takes his time and does an excellent job, he notices the small nuances required ever professional polisher and doesnt mind working hard and working the same area of the toe or the sides out as needed in order to get the mirror-like finish he is looking for. If you go there, do not plan on a five minute shoeshine spiff because you wont get it. Only quality here.Though there were many gentlemen there in and out throughout the afternoon, they were smoking various types of cigars and the smoke would not hover in the air terribly long proving, theres a good air circulation and purification system in place. The multiple rooms throughout the depth of this unique Quonset hut style building make for a younique setting.It was easy to join in and have a conversation with a stranger or you were not seeing us out of place to sit off to the side and think your own thoughts or escape into your phone or computer. The restroom was clean, well-kept and stocked.Monthly memberships are available and it would be a great place to hang out when you want to escape. Members have the option of coming to the club day or night with their own electronic fob key. Its a place where high rollers in fine gentlemens suits and tie (such as myself) or the comfortably dressed commoner can commingle and enjoy time together.its clear the business deals can be done here or simple socializing but it seems to be a tongue-in-cheek rule that if money is discussed here they will show you the front door. It tends to be men only here, I saw women come into the humidifier room then exit. However, I did note one woman in the room enjoying television by herself for several hours and thats nice to see also. Overall I would return and I will return to have an additional shoe shine.*******UPDATE 6/26/2020*******I have returned to this business several times, the staff is mildly friendly though not overly. The place could be keep cleaner mind you but overall, its a nice hang out spot. The shoe shine man Gregory is awesome and he and I do business together, often.

Wonderful coat shop with smoking room. It is a great place to go write or read getting away from it all with a cigar. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I dont normally smoke but my brother does. We saw this place on the way to our hotel. My brother was interested in the place so we dropped in. The place is located in an old quonset hut so I was a bit leery. Once in you get that smell of tobacco right away. There were shoe shine stations, which was a bit of a surprise. We bought two cigars and sat on some very comfy leather seats and enjoyed our cigars. There was a game playing on a TV set. The place was grandfathered in so we could actually smoke there. Overall a good experience.

Update: gonna have to knock this one down. Was taken advantage of pretty hard on my last visit and sold cigars at almost twice their usual rate. Pretty disappointing to see what was once a fine establishment succumb to this level of greed, but taking advantage of customers who aren’t familiar with cigars is pretty sad.Old review: Have always received great service and advice here when picking out cigars.

I frequent this establishment, the staff is always great. While the cigars are more expensive than other places you get what you pay for. The lounge where you can sit for free, watch TV, use their wifi and meet new interesting people from all walks of life, Is spacious, filled with top notch leather chairs and couches. They have events which bring in big names of the cigar world, which means you can meet the makers of your favorite cigar. All in all one of the best places to sit and enjoy a cigar. Not to mention they have a members only back room that requires a membership to join, which just so happens to be out of my price range. But it gives you 24 hour access to a comfy place to enjoy a cigar.

Ive been to Pauls once or twice to get Gars for the Hubs, but Im a Broadway gal from now on. Spot on service and selection. Plus, when I walk in there the guys are so nice! I dont feel at all out of place, and even sat in on a deep discussion of clam chowder recipes this winter. Jason is really nice, and doesnt try to sell the cigar hyperbole.

Overpriced and staff will try to upsell you. Do you research on the MSRP on the cigars before you buy here(Cigar Aficionado or cigar scanner). They probably have one of the best cigar lounges in town but the owner is way too greedy.
