The oat milk lattes are delicious and the staff is always so sweet! They were also very accommodating and helpful for a large order today, and my office really appreciated the treat!
A friend took me here, and being my first visit I ordered a safe drink... an Iced Mocha. Easy peasy, and every place makes them.Well, for SOME reason, these folks have licorice in either their coffee, or their chocolate for the mocha... and it was disgusting.Worst Mocha Ive ever had, I could only take a couple of sips before I had to throw it out. Absolutely GROSS... and no one should ever put licorice in coffee EVER.
YUM. We came here 3-4 times on our trip. Coffee, service, and atmosphere was great, but we really kept going back for the breakfast sandwiches. SO delicious. I recommend!
I love this location and absolutely love their Americano blend. I buy coffee here at least twice a week. Their outdoor seating is really nice and perfect for reading a book.
The coffee here is ok.The real winner here is the location. Come by on a nice sunny Saturday morning. You’ll enjoy it, I’m sure.
My favorite drip coffee in Portland and the service is always great. I also try a lot of different beans from Portland at home, but always come back to Sisters for consistently great beans.
Nice coffee shop in the Pearl District with good service. They open early everyday and has a breakfast menu. At the moment, indoor seatings are blocked but there are about 7, 8 tables outside and it was actually quite lovely to sit in the parklet to enjoy my coffee and breakfast muffin to start a day.
Fantastic coffee shop, great cortado’s good service and the best avacodo on toast I have ever had, their South Sister’s breakfast sandwich is another hit on the menu, the aoli is next level good. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
I am from Michigan, visiting my daughter, and she took me to Sisters. I picked the vanilla rose coffee latte!! It was excellent!!!! Nothing like it in Michigan! If Sisters was in Michigan, they would have a permanent customer!!!! Love, love, love!!!
Staff was great. Allowed me to chill while waiting for my room to open through Barsala on nw Marshall St
Good sidewalk seating, adequate space between seating. Coffee isnt for me but they have a nice variety to go with.
Really good coffee. Great cafe to get some work done.
Good coffee and comfortable surroundings, lots of seating for all, inside and out.
This is my favorite local chain - good coffee, nice cafe menu, very friendly staff, and a cool vibe. They also have some outdoor seating available. I like to grab a coffee to go and enjoy it at nearby Fields Park!
Over priced, averaged breakfast sandwiches... served cold by incompetent staff. There are better options in the neighbourhood.
This is a great place thats just as good as their location in Sisters.
Love this place! Drip coffee is the best deal in Portland and such friendly staff.
Great place to get a coffee and a pastry! Love their espresso blend beans too.
Very cozy café with house blended teas, freshly roasted coffee, fresh baked goods, comfortable seating options and friendly staff. Love the local southern Oregon touches like the burlwood tables, elk antlers and a massive map of the Oregon territory. If you get there before 3 PM, try their avocado and fried egg toast or the rosemary chevre with homemade berry compote toast.
There is always an issue at Sisters coffee, Im always getting charged differently for the same items, its hard to get even what I ask for. Its only always busy because its basically the only coffee shop in town.
I am lucky to have this as my local coffee shop. Good coffee and good service. Enough said.
Superb coffee and the new cold brew is great
Great coffee, the pastry not so much. Not saying they are bad but the scone was really dry. Overall still a great place.
This was a favorite study spot when I lived in Portland for graduate school. After moving back to Portland in February, I live much closer to the shop, but sadly haven’t been able to enjoy its warm and bookish atmosphere given the pandemic...however, they are still open for coffee and it is SO DELICIOUS! They have cardamom syrup which can be hard to find. The coffees I’ve ordered are always robust in flavor. They serve an excellent gluten-free coffee cake as well. Recommend this place even if you have to wait in line.
Excellent cortado and vibes
Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches
First time at this coffee shop and we liked the idea of the barista counter where we can see the barista preparing drinks, they served a flavorful coffee beans, coffee and latte are just fine. We didnt try the pastries mor sandwiches yet, I believe they serve variety of unique sandwiches and pastries.
Love Sisters’ coffee (free 8 oz drip when you buy a bag) and spicy chai lattes. They also carry Sparrow Bakery’s Ocean Rolls! Really welcoming shop with super friendly baristas.
Cool coffee shop.Upstairs seating is neat.Decor is warm and inviting.Baristas were just ok.House Coffee selections were watery. Not very good. The mixed berry scone was quite tart with a hint of sweet. More like the consistency of a biscuit. Not as dense.Almond croissant was good.Overall this place is okay, but after having Stumptown Coffee, this place is just passable.Good if youre in the area, but not to go out of your way.
Good good and service
I love this place. They always have good coffee, healthy snacks and food and a nice seating area. Their location in Sisters is also really cool and worth checking out if you ever stop by that cute lil town.
The BEST coffee shop in the pearl. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. Im so glad theyre still open!
Great coffee with fun seasonal specials and really friendly staff!
Hands down my favorite coffee spot in the pearl
They are still open and serving great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I got one with egg, cheese and oregon-made sausage on gluten free bread and it was great!
Although I tasted little to none chocolate in my iced mocha, overall good coffee and pastry. I like how they set up outdoor seatings for the customers while most places are takeout only.
Got a small $2(!) cup of coffee this morning standing in a very brief Covid inspired line. The coffee was DELICIOUS! The staff person was gracious and friendly. What a bargain all around. Will be back for sure.
Their dragonfly chai in oat milk was wonderful. Also thoroughly enjoyed their vegan breakfast burrito. So good! Aside from delicious beverage and food their ambience is very chill. Highly recommend trying.
Delicious coffee, gluten free options breakfast sandwiches, pastries and more!
Great service and cool people we love the coffee
Coffee was too hot and too acidic I couldnt drink it and then lid popped off......I burnt my hand leg and foot totally B.S.
Not sure who the person that works there was but ... I came in there with my mug in hand excited that I discovered a new coffeehouse. However, when I asked for the bathroom code, I was practically interrogated as to whether or not I was a paying customer. Granted, I had not yet ordered my coffee, But I was desperately wanting to use the restroom first. This was a drill that I did not expect and have to say left me feeling insulted. It was the way this person handled it and her demeaning tone. Im sure this was probably a one off (I hope) and this is a great coffeehouse (as per the majority of reviews) but this was my experience. After getting my coffee, I decided to take it to go because of that experience. I wont be back.
Great food & service.
Delicious lavender latte!
This place is fun and in the Pearl district in Portland. Two stories with plenty of seating. Also had some outdoor seating. Excellent for studying, a quick bite, or for meeting friends. Fun, Portland, outdoor atmosphere with fireplace and fun decor! Great coffee and a wonderful staff and a variety of food as well! I would definitely return!
Best avocado toast in the neighborhood!!
Friendly staff, quick service, and holy mother of Josh, amazing spiced chai latte! The beautiful foam art is just a bonus, but after the first sip, didnt give a what about anything but that awesome drink! Highly recommend!
Perfect neighborhood coffee place
Good coffee and pastries. Lots of options. Free wifi and nice place to hang out.
Im so happy that Sisters reopened after the tragedy of late 2018. The remodel is amazing! I love the new horseshoe setup that put the baristas front and center! Consistently great coffee, great service, and a great environment for a chat or to get some work done!
Baristas are always right on spot. They will remake your espresso themselves if it doesnt pass thier own inspection without even asking you. Love it when an establishment takes pride in the service they provide!
Lots of coffee meetings happening here. Great spot with solid coffee and possibly my favorite avocado toast in Portland - add the bacon, it makes it. :)
Amazing service
This is my first visit since the remodel which was nicely done. It looks just like the sisters coffee house in sisters, Oregon (original) and the decor compliments. Like the colors and wood and seating. It fits the Pearl in a modern look
Love their coffee and merchandise!
Great coffee. Good vibes. Its popular with a lot of professionals working so it can be tough to find seating. A minor complaint.
Cute and cosy place, with plenty of seating options. great place to work in and they have a fantastic playlist as well. ordered a pumpkin spice latte that tasted more like a regular latte, unfortunately. nevertheless, the entire coffee shop was great. clean, good music, well decorated. will definitely be back to get some work done in the future!
One of my favorite coffee places in the Pearl! All of their pastries, and breakfast sandwiches are so good. My go to is a coconut milk latte. Its awesome every time. They also have large tables for sharing, and working. Neat atmosphere and friendly people.
Great coffee, opens early, beautiful interior, and friendly staff. 5 stars. Would dine again. Tip: Try the breakfast bar. Its delicious, and hearty enough to be a meal on its own.
We always make this a stop while in central Oregon! They make fantastic coffee! We always stop on our way in and out of town! Never just pass through without your coffee!
Cozy coffee shop with a great atmosphere! Love the comfortable seating (check out the upstairs for a more secluded feel or downstairs in you want the hustle and bustle). The coffee is delicious and they have some nice treats to snack on too. You can also buy their beans here. A nice place to get work done!
I completely agree with others that this is my favorite coffee place in downtown Portland. The coffee is a little weak, but has good flavor. Its the ambiance and setting that makes this place so special. Its a very rustic feel with plenty of seating, especially if you look up. Hidden upstairs is a great balcony set to look like a library...if youre a people watcher, youll love this place.Give it a try, its a relaxing place to have a coffee or get some work done with their free, fast wifi.
I really like this place. Trendy croud, good food, nice atmosphere. Sit and enjoy your favorite cup of Joe and a short list of light fare. A little spendy but pretty much what you expect for the Pearl district.
Great baked goods, fine coffee but can be slow if you are in a rush.
This place has been my favorite hangout in the Pearl District for years. The mountain lodge decor gives a unique contrast to the modern surrounding of this neighborhood that has only become like this in the last 20 years. Be sure to check out the loft with some impressive collection of books if youre a theology geek or you like Christian fictions (many books appear to be from Multnomah Publishing, which, like Sisters Coffee Company is based in Sisters, Oregon). And this place is almost always crowded.
Good coffee and cool place. Wish they weren’t using palm oil in some of their baked goods. Hence the 3 stars.
Every single person who works here has been friendly and very welcoming. When they found out I was a visitor, they suggested several places for me to see. After two visits, they even remembered my name! I’m a regular now until I go back home. I wish I could take Sisters with me.
I always feel like Im on vacation when I go to sisters coffee, probably since we always visit the sisters, OR location when traveling east 😁. Great people and great coffee.
The biggest coffeehouse Ive ever seen. With a Starbucks-size menu, any one review couldnt touch the extent, but the coffees good, espresso nice, and cappuccino alright. What I can really report is their location is nice (very close to the streetcar), and the place itself is perfect for an extended stay. Its very work-oriented, though there are a few odd padded chairs and sofa.
Very cozy place! Tried the mocha and their dark roast drip coffee and enjoyed both.
Usually would give it more stars but was so disappointed that their pastry prices have gone up so much. However, they are now up to the usual prices you find in most coffee shops and their scones are huge and so good. Great cozy coffee shop to meet a friend or stop for a quick cup
There breakfast is great. There nitro Coffee is awesome! A must have for a beer flavored coffee!
One of our fave Portland coffee shops--and there are literally hundreds to choose from. House roasted coffee, well trained baristas, lunch and pastries, plus in the heart of the Pearl District.
Fantastic coffee, but does not accept cash which is very weird for a coffee shop
This place has a modern log cabin feel with well made coffee. They use their own beans and their mochas are made just right. Theres just enough chocolate to bring out the coffee undertones but not too much that it overpowers the drink. Has been and always will be my favorite coffee shop.
A great café with an easy going vibe. I liked the wood furniture and decor. Seating is somewhat limited, but there is an upstairs section with benches. I had an Americano, which was as good as any Ive had in Portland. This location is very convenient if you are coming from the climbing gym nearby.
Excellent coffee in a great location with friendly staff and a great vibe. What more could you ask for?
Comfortable atmosphere, great food, and good coffee. I come here often before work. I never plan on getting something sweet but they have such great baked goods I always leave with a treat
Came here on a Monday around 10:45am and it was extremely busy no seating for us at all. Every singe table was taken and most of the people are studying, so no point of waiting for a table even. It seems like they use it as a work office for most of them. Also nothing special with their coffee, and their everything bagel was very hard to chew . Never coming here again . Starbucks is better .
Great snack selection, very good coffee. If you want a real cappuccino you have to ask for a dry one. The default cappuccino is a small latte.
While I love their Black Butte Roast, the comfort level of the chair/tables had me migrating to a new spot for my Saturday morning coffee + laptop times. The people are friendly but I do wish they at least remembered my face after how many times I went in. The coffee is amazing, though, and if Im feeling a place where I know itll be good Ill head here.
Coffee shop, good coffee, good pastries
Great coffee, helpful service, clean bathroom and reasonable prices. Similar aesthetic to the original shop in Sisters.
Excellent coffee, nice ambiance, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. One of my favorite coffee shops in Portland!
Great coffee shop! Their coffee is amazing, pastries are tasty and there is also lots of space for working/studying.
Food was organic and tasty. Coffee was the best. Atmosphere and Staff outstanding. Wished I lived closer but will be a great to visit when I am in the area!
