My soy vanilla latte ans basil berry Danish was delicious.Super cute coffee shop. The atmosphere was chill and they had tables outside to sip your cup of Joe. They sell hoodies and tees with their shark logo.

Good enough coffee, but expensive. Not sure I want to pay $6 (before tip) for a simple drink (16 Oz cup with ice, milk, espresso, vanilla). If its iced for the same price, shift the cup size up one so Im not paying for half a cup of ice.If its something that requires barista skill and/or extra time (good milk foam, presentation, straight espresso, americano) thats a different story.

Good little neighborhood coffee shop in Mississippi. I enjoyed trying this place out while visiting from Tempe, Arizona.Service was slow, but the experience was good so it’s all Gucci.I’ll def return here again, hopefully when there is not a pandemic.

Neighborhood staple café with really good coffee and lots of nice places to sit and read. Great art and decor, not to mention its in a building that was once a pharmacy complete with relics of the old times. Whenever Im in the Mississippi neighborhood I swing through here for a latte– always get fast and friendly service.

The person at the window seemed a bit unhinged this morning- I just dont love being yelled at or bossed around without at least a little politeness. There was nobody in line after me- no real pressure - and yet the cashier was shouting orders with military urgency. I suppose this is an infrastructure problem - the order window is confusing and you have to stand in front of the part with no protective glass to speak so they can hear you.. so it’s really covid’s fault and the whole situation is frustrating for everyone- i just would hope that would make people patient and kinder to each other not the oppositeThe low stars come because of the aforementioned rudeness and the fact that coffee isnt my favorite around- but im not a big fan of the sour light roasts - they burn easy and have pumpkin overtones- the location is convenient but I think I’ll take the extra time and go elsewhere in the future

Worst mocha I’ve ever tasted. It was almost all milk and had very little coffee or chocolate flavor at all. $5 for an 8oz is ridiculous!

I will never go there again! Ridiculously overpriced for poor quality and flavor. The mocha had no coffee taste and the chocolate was to sweet. Down with elitist coffee!

Four stars for hipster service, but awesome coffee. Has nice simple outdoor seating. That bathroom has cool gravity. Formally being an old drug store gives this place a certain charm. Despite the dodgy slow service I still consider this place to be in my top five coffee spots.

Not really what I was expecting I guess. More hipster than I was anticipating.I was hoping for a community vibe & the baristas to be more engaged with the customer rather than each other.

My friend described this place as a no-frills coffee shop, and that was pretty much right. The latte was good and I had a nice and spicy jalapeno bagel with cream cheese. The sound level was good for a coffee shop on a Saturday morning. Id come back!

Definitely worth checking out. Its a wonderfully eclectic designed place with fun decorations and furnishings. The people are nice and the coffee is pretty good. Overall a really nice visit. I really recommend stopping by if you are in the area and craving some coffee.

Friendly service, yummy drinks (ginger juice!) and hip music aimed just at my aging-hipster demographic--all in a cool, comfy old space. This coffee stop actually made an impression on me.

Ive been coming here off and on for the last eight years so my review is a culmination of all of my experiences here. The Fresh Pot used to be renowned as having the snootiest Baristas in Portland - which is saying something. Lately, however, my interactions have been solid and I havent felt like Im not cool enough to be ordering coffee here. The space is good and so is the coffee, and Ive always liked the Bake Shop pastries, so this is a well-rounded place to stop by and have a chat or sit quietly and get stuff done.

The four barrel roasters coffee they serve here is great (or they use special magic when brewing it). The atmosphere is chill, and it was a perfect place for me to post up and work. I personally like some other roasters in the area a little better (extracto for example), but its still really good here. Highly recommend.

The group I was with seemed to luke the food and drinks the musuc was a but loyd fir our group of 6 to hear each other talk. Otherwise it was good.

Professional baristas who take pride in their work. Its not just cwahfee- its ahrt-and it tastes good too!

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand its a great place. the tea I have had is always very good and the staff have always been great. On the other hand its always pretty full and its tough to get a table to do some work which is why I go there. So keep that in mind.

I love the fresh pot so much that I even purchased a mug to take back to Australia with me. The baristas are excellent (my soy lattes were consistently on point) and the customer service is great, definitely gonna miss this place!

I feel like part of the experience of a NE Portland weekend is waking up early, walking to Fresh Pot, grabbing a coffee and trying to guess at which brunch place wont be packed. But starting at Fresh Pot is always the starting point.

Its my favorite spot. The coffee is a tasty Stumptown blend and the espresso drinks are dependably good. Staff is always friendly and I enjoy the music selections, art, and people watching.

Its a great place and staff are nice. The espresso is excellent, but the black coffee isnt as sweet as well brewed stumptown can be. Slightly more expensive than most cafes is my only complaint. The user below who had an altercation with the staff sounds like a sociopath; the staff are always quick to take my order and friendly!

Been coming here for ages, and the friendliness is always the first thing I notice. Dont feel rushed or too old for the customer age demographics. Food accommodates us vegans also!

Meh. I mean, the coffee is fine, the service is above average relative to PDX.. but last time I was there, multiple tables were not clean. A couple times, Ive been there and the whole place is a bunch of people working and reading while a barista cackles and basically shouts in a conversation with another barista. Last time, it was random fits of cackling laughter. Maybe not aware that shes working a cafe? Lots of options for me in the area otherwise.

Pretty nice neighborhood coffee shop with nitro on tap which is delicious. I wish it was cleaner however, the chairs and tables tend to feel sticky/ grimy, plus customer service is lacking in comparison to other coffee places.
