Charles is one of the nicest people Ive met, the neighbourhood is lucky to have someone as kind and compassionate as he is.

Charles is the absolute best. This place is a treasure and has been for many years.

The man working here got me a special order of something I was looking for and in the meantime tried to find me a substitute. He always has a crowd of people laughing and chatting in the store. It has a real comfortable and happy vibe in the place.

Love this store! It is a historic part of N, Portland. Charles is great with the kids and my granddaughter loves him!!!! I grew up in the neighborhood and this market has been there through it all. I even remember when there was a barber shop next door and I got my afro cut there!
