I loved this place but my partner and I got horrible food poisoning and the service was pretty bad. One person (who wasnt even the server) made sure we were taken care of but everyone just stared at us and didnt help at all . Wish Id feel comfortable to go back and give them another try but after that experience Im legitimately scared 😭
One of my favorite bakeries! The pastries are AMAZING... talk about party in your mouth. The quiche is my go to when I am feeling hungry. The salad is also a nice pairing. This is a must stop by when in the area!
The coffee was lovely and the available gluten-free pastries were divine. I really appreciate it the ability to order more than one thing off of the menu in a bakery. I also thought that the woman who waited on us was incredibly friendly and hospitable.
This place keeps our street smelling amazing and stopping in for a dessert never disappoints. The st. Honoŕe pastry (with the cream puffs on top) is my favorite and its definitely a show stopper that feels like its named perfectly. Like it really shows you how good their cream puff cream is, how good their pâte à choux is and the caramelized sugar on top is so nice! I always recommend it to friends their first time in.
Great food. Loved the croustades.
What a rip off this place is... I was excited to find this place but ...$ 12.00 for a loaf of bread that’s cheaper than cheap to make, and it’s taste is nothing to talk about. My breakfast was soggy and also nothing to speak of. On top of that I was playing musical tables because each table I set at with my overpriced meal was very wobbly. I give this place 2 stars for ambiance and I appreciate seeing workers working right in front of my eyes. Staff was super nice but that does not make up for everything else.
This place is great. The drinks are great. The food is great. The staff are great. They have in dining, but not many tables. Most people, such as i, get their orders to go.bits s bit expensive, but not very expensive. Two pastries and a drink will run you about $20.
Really fresh good French bakery. We visit every time we are in town. Tried the quiche this time and it was delicious.
The staff was friendly and the opera cake was so so good. ❤
Nice French cafe / bakery. Has some sandwiches that come with side salad for $11
Go to pastry shop for me.The staff is kind and the pastries are of acceptable quality.
Love this place. They managed to thread the needle through the Covid crises. They closed down their in-store eating, limited the number of customers in the store and continued to churn out French delicacies.
Wonderful display and our little treats were fantastic. The staff was helpful and patient with me as I browsed my selection.
Once the best place to get patisserie, the post-COVID st honore was a shadow of its former self. My eclair was stale, with the custard inside frozen. Place seemed short staffed. Food is still served on paper plates, presumably not for covid safety (normal washing procedure sterilizes plates) but out of refusal to hire a plongeur. Two pastries and a single coffee for $21 doesnt feel right off a cheap paper plate.Pay your workers better and start taking pride in your pastries again
Great bakery with various traditional pastries.
The Almond Croissants were superb 👌
Good location. The bakery has good ambiance and good flow of people coming in. The have adequate COVID precautions. Pastries are good, every kind has a little description of what it is, since not everyone is well-versed with French pastries. Coffee was all right. Staff was nice.
A perfect stop for a lovely coffee and breakfast, or pastries to take home to the family.
Love this cute French bakery. I came here to have breakfast and adored the vibe. The fresh bakery in the back is quite the production. They had in and outdoor seating. The croque madame I had was decadent. I also took a loaf of bread home for the week. The service was friendly and fast. I would definitely come back to try a pastry.
I get something different everytime I go because everything is sooo good!!
Only been here a couple times but the pastries are delicious and the coffee is good too. Nice clean and open space, good service. Will come back again.
Very charming, great sandwiches and pastries
Probably the best and most authentic French bakery in Oregon. GREAT eclairs, sandwiches, and coffee. I think their locations on NW Vaugh, and the one in Lake Oswego have better atmospheres and parking but this one is great.
Beware their delivery food. When I went in person before the pandemic their canales were amazing, fresh with just the right amount of crispy exterior.I just ordered some and they are not even worth eating. I paid $20 for 4 stale tasting and soggy canales. Like theyve been sitting in a refrigerator for a day or two. I dont know if the quality has dropped since my last visit or they just give delivery orders the day olds but I will not be returning. Complete waste of money.
Due to Covid, no indoor seating but theres some places to sit outside and the package your stuff to go. In addition to pasteries they have good coffee and a couple of sandwich options.
Pastries were not heated up & were dry. I don’t recommend ordering any of their croissants given the state they’re served in
Been coming here since the kids were tiny. A croissant or eclair from here is perfect after a neighborhood walk or a hike to Pittock. Great soups, salads, bread too
The best pastries I’ve had in PDX. Always phenomenal. I reccomend the KouignAmann.Always a special little treat.
Extraordinary French pastries, good coffee, and amazing bread. Always a pleasure to stop in. Don’t leave without chouquettes!
All the savory and sweet treats I bought were delicious. The lady at the counter was very nice and super helpful. Ill be back for sure.
Good place but sometimes they are slow
Not just pastry!!! We went there for the pastry but my wife ended up getting the frittata croissant which came with side salad. I got a well brewed American, a French apple turnover and a mini Marionberry. There was a lot on the menu and we will being going back to try there wonderful food. Thank you!
Early morning the croissants are still warm, the chouquette are fresh and the croque monsieur is still hot. PERFECT. Great service, fantastic coffee - one of our favorite places.
Would be 5 stars if theyd just fix their wifi. Wifi almost never works and place is in a cellphone dead zone so if you want to grab lunch but need to have the babysitter be able to get ahold of you or your elderly parents in an emergency you are out of luck. If you want to read the news or answer work emails while drinking coffee, cant do it. Good food and drinks though, please fix your wifi!edit: Wifi working better, 5 stars it is!
I love this place. The food is always amazing and the staff is even better. Evelyne is such a doll and so personable she always remembers my order and goes above and beyond to make sure each customer is happy.Daphne is also a doll. I recently got locked out of my apartment and she helped me figure out the situation and stay out of the heat I truly am so appreciative. She also always remembers my order and has such an incredible personality.I would highly recommend this place not only because the food is amazing but because of how truly incredible the people who work there are if I could give this place more than five stars I would. Make sure to tip fat when you come I dont know a more deserving staff
Just stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a shot as their entire bakery display looked delicious. Tried an apple French toast pastry and a maple bacon croissant and both were scrumptious. Cold brew was great as well! We will be back.
Great selection of pastries! Highly recommend
Nearly as good as being in France.
Good pastries and friendly people. The prices are a bit high for what they offer but its a decent place to get some sweet pastries
I love visiting here. This place has a cool design. I see why this place has a lot of great reviews.
Make sure to call ahead to see if theyre open. They were closed due to slow traffic today.
Get the macaroons, hands down the best Ive had in portland
Great selection. Social distancing and masks required. Great service
Great selection of the most perfect pastries.
Its a joy to order pastries, desserts and warm drinks from here. Each item Ive tried has been delicious, and they are packaged thoughtfully for delivery.
We ordered cake assortments for a friend’s birthday. Staff was very nice and helpful! Cute little place as well!
Our small group stopped by here after a city walk and had a great lunch. Super friendly staff and delicious food!
Love the french bread here!
Its okay. When I go to any place, more than just the food... I come back because of the awesome customers service. This place have good food, not so much on the customers service. No one greeted me when i entered. And theyre werent busy at all. There was no one a head of me. I had to grab the guys attention to serve me coz he was busy on his cellphone. Im a little disappointed.
No bathroom, outdoor seating isnt covered currently. Service is nice, food is the usual greatness
One of my fave places for pastries and baguettes. 🥖
My favorite French Bakery in Portland! Delicious baked goods and treats.
The service, food and atmosphere are top notch, pastries to do for and a menu with incredible dishes that incorporate local flavors in amazing combinations.
This is an authentic French bakery. The wait is worth the delicious food you will enjoy. They have many limited-time treat that are available for the season. They also have wonderful breads available for any meal. I suggest the you take a few minutes to enjoy the atmosphere and relax.
Just great baked everything. No bad anything. So hard to chose. We will be back
Ahhhh-mazing. Try anything. Try everything. You will have no regrets.
NIce bakery. Consistent quality. Nice atmosphere
Delectable baked goods. A bit spendy but very high quality and worth it to splurge on once in a while.
First time here! I ordered chocolate hazelnut croissant and the croque madame! It was so delicious i forgot to take a picture before! Will definitely be back for more! I will Highly recommend!
I want to eat everything !
Amazing, the Opéra and vegetable Quiche are my FAVORITE!!
Its good. But after eating here multiple times, I would say the price on the food is a bit absurd. Good tasting for sure though. If you are looking for a good French bakery, there are a handful of better places in town. But if you are on Division looking for something quick with a good cup of coffee, stop in and try it out.
Quite an enjoyable experience. We ate outside. The food was very good. The service was okay but nothing special. If I lived in Portland I would be back.
Our favorite go to place for tea and pastries!
The pastries here are amazing! The woman who helped was very friendly and incredibly knowledgable. Rarely have I received better service!
Our barista was super friendly and helped me pick out a pastry that I would be able to eat because of an allergy I have. Our coffees were really good, and the pastries I got for breakfast were delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
Quaint and upscale at the same time, with round white marble tables big and airy windows that roll up at the storefront. Ideal brunch and coffee date territory. Crispiest croissant in town that will scatter you with crumbs that are. so. worth. it.
Good coffee and lovely pastries!
Fantastic French bakery in the heart of Richmond. Offers pastries, fresh breads, coffee, as well as an assortment of hot breakfast and lunch options. Friendly staff and quick service.
High quality delicious pastries
Wonderful French bakery in a convenient location. Delicious!
We came here for breakfast mid morning on a whim and walked away happy and stuffed. Food and coffee were great and the staff were superb. How much better can an experience be when the Baker is happy to talk with you kids, demonstrate baking, give you food tips for the city, and give your kids cookies. Couldnt have been more happy or better taken care of. Great place!
Very buttery pastries, big artisan round loaf of bread for $10.25 so expensive, tasty panninis. If you sit in the back you can watch the bakers prepping. Fun. Good big television on the womans national soccer team during brunch today. A little too $$$ for us but fun.
Excellent delectable fare, quiche first rate..pastry superb...but so important...it is an expansive warm environment...very pleasant to spend time with a friend here..Also, note to staff: keep being kind and intelligent. .love you!*+++
