WOW. I will be telling everyone I know immediately. What a total treat. I tried the salted maple and PB cookie. The cashew-coconut blend base is amazing. It’s decadent for sure. And super creamy. Personally would go for a half scoop in the future even though my heart would say whole! What a treat to have GF cookies in the flavors! The cone is a bit fragile but it’s such a treat. It has a dark caramel flavor. Tell all your vegan gluten free friends. And all your restriction-free friends. This is 🔥💣🤤

Words cannot express how much I love this place! Ive been a vegan for 7 years, and even though vegan ice cream is very easy to find nowadays, I cannot have cane sugar which usually means I dont get to go out for ice cream. But this place does not use cane sugar, and I also cant have gluten so this is a win-win for me and Im sure a lot of others!! Almost every flavor I have tried has been absolutely perfect! And the cones are amazing also! I would love to see you guys do milkshakes someday 💜 10/10!!!

Yum yum yum !! Cinnamon flavor is very cinnamon-y (really good if you like cinnamon), and the maple flavor is outstanding. Pineapple flavor was nothing like I had tasted before. All are delicious and impressively creamy.

I know. I was skeptical, too. I got the chocolate and my wife got a latte flavor of some sort. We ate them right up! The homemade waffle cone was also awesome. Our two year old son (albeit unsurprisingly) loved it, too! Would recommend, even if youre dairy-inclined!

Absolutely wonderful ice cream, creamy, flavorful, and rich, with the perfect portions. Everything is made from scratch, and the waffle cone was superb. The storefront is thoughtfully put together, with potted plants and herbs around, a cute bench to sit on, and a clear simple menu to choose from that made ordering easy. The menu also was straight forward in stating the dietary needs. They are 100% soy free, gluten free, with no refined sugar and vegan! Above all the service was outstanding. The employees were incredibly kind and considerate. Definitely try them out!! 😁☺️😍 😋 🤤

Honestly, this is the best ice cream Ive had! I got the sea salt maple flavor and the vanilla date caramel flavor and both were incredible and had such a rich and decadent texture! I love that they use such wholesome ingredients as well!

We vacationed in Maine from NY and planned to end our trip here for my dairy-allergic daughters first ever takeout ice cream cone - no sorbet, no Italian ice, no possibility of cross-contamination. Amazingly creamy and tasty vegan ice cream in fresh-made waffle cones. Friendly staff and ice cream that dairy-lovers will enjoy, as well. We will definitely go back!

Stopped by here on a whim after grabbing dinner nearby. I was pretty skeptical that someone could actually make good “ice cream” without dairy or sugar but woah was I wrong. I’m not sure what voodoo magic goes into this but it’s quite delicious. Def recommend stopping by to taste this “ice cream” if you are in the area.

As someone who is gluten intolerant and lactose intolerant, this place is an amazing find. My family and I each had a different flavor and every flavor was truly amazing. Meyer Lemon Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Cookie were my top two. Please consider shipping your product or better yet, move/franchise in Vermont!

Very yummy all vegan and gluten free ice cream! Allergens were clearly marked on the menu, which was super cool. The gluten free cone was delicious, but with the ice cream a bit much for us. We tried the lemon cheesecake (omg), the peanut butter cookie (yum), and the mint chocolate (not my thing, but yes from my partner).

Just went here with my girlfriend and I think it might be my favorite ice cream and cone, dairy or non-dairy, gluten free or not. Delicious flavoring, creamy texture, not too sweet, and didn’t make us feel bad after. Highly recommend!

As a non-vegan/dairy free eater, this place really wasnt for me. The look and presentation scream ice cream, but the flavor and constancy do not. For those looking for good ice cream, or other frozen dairy treats, this isnt it.The Good:* Really friendly and polite staff* Good selection of flavors* Alternative to dairy.* Looks greatThe Bad:* Is not ice cream, and I cant pretend it is.* Doesnt melt (could be a positive depending on person)* The flavors didnt seem too balanced (ex: chocolate pb didnt taste much like pb)* Odd mouthfeel. Its similar to the mouthfeel of Halo Top.* Pretty expensive for what you get.The Other:* Could be bad/good depending on how you look at it, but the cone had a burnt(?) quality to it that I can only describe as being similar to slightly stale ice cream cone that came from a box you bought about 4 months ago. I found the taste really nostalgic but others did not.This place definitely fits into a great niche here and Portland, and I hope it does well. I just prefer a different dessert than this.

So glad I found this place, upstairs at the public market building an open 7 days/week! (11-5 weekends) I had been craving Mango Sticky Rice for weeks. This version is a gorgeous, healthy Maine version. WOW. Tastier than any Ive had in a Thai restaurant! They also have Blueberry or Banana versions. The lovely woman at the counter let me try all 5 flavors of their new Coconut/Cashew Ice Cream: Maine Maple Seasalt, Blueberry Velvet, Strawberry Jam, Cocoa Pudding and newest Latte with Speckled Axe coffee! All utterly creamy and rich, flavorful and delicious!

The ice cream was to die for! The dates and coconut sugar lended wonderful caramel notes to the maple and cinnamon cookie flavors that I tried. The cinnamon cookie had large pieces of cookies, which normally I would be over the moon about, but in a a half scoop I felt like i got more cookie than ice cream.My only complaint it the price. I understand that this ice cream is made with premium ingredients, but for two half-scoops to be $6 when a pint is $12 doesnt seem to add up to me as the half scoops I got combined could not have been more than 1/5th of a pint. Would have just gotten a pint, but place I was staying didnt have a freezerI would definitely go back, but wish that the price could allow for it to be a more regular stop when Im in the area, or for others who lack access to a freezer.

All the ice creams are vegan!!! The Creamsicle flavor is super creamy and citrus-y and the sugar cone it came in was the best Id ever had!!

Ive had MANY vegan ice creams, and this beats every one of them hands down! Im gluten free, vegan, and refined sugar free. I also believe in shopping responsibly (pro environment, social justice, local, etc.) So Sticky Sweet effortlessly ticks ALL the boxes! Compostable cups and wooden spoons. Very supportive of local, and actively promote racial quality on social. These sisters are amazing, and Im so happy they are being met with such success. (Plus they are amazingly kind and have always treated us like dear friends even though weve only been in 3 times so far.)Now, the ice cream...HOLY WOW! Wonderful rotation of incredibly delicious and unique flavors (Butter Pecan Praline, and Chocolate Cream Pie blew my socks off last night - LOVED the cookie bits!) The cashew blended with coconut base gives it a creamy depth I havent tasted in any other vegan ice creams. And the homemade waffle cones could be made into wafers and Id eat them all day long (good thing they arent.) Im not big into desserts, so some flavors are a tad sweet for me, but others are just right. Meaning, I think anyone can find their perfect flavor here.The prices are simple and truly reflective of quality: $5 per scoop (1/2 cup), $3 mini (1/4 cup), $1 waffle cone.As others have mentioned: Get there early as some flavors (or all) will sell out!

The ice cream was creamy, decadent, and flavorful. My mom and I split a scoop of the Very Vanilla and the Cool Mint Cookie flavors and both were incredible. The Cool Mint Cookie had huge chunks of cookie in it!Bottom Line:Highly recommend for all eaters, for those who eat a gluten free or vegan diet and those who eat anything given on a plate/cup/cone.Edit:Went again and picked up Pineapple Cheesecake on a cone when I don’t really love pineapple or cheesecake and was blown away by the texture and flavor once more. Had huge chunks of “cheesecake” in it!

Being no stranger to plant-based ice cream, we knew we had to give Sticky Sweet a try (even in 13° weather). Kelly was so sweet and let us try anything we wanted. We were so impressed by the flavor each ice cream packs with extremely minimal coconut taste, which sometimes feels hard to find in this market! The sea salt maple was perfect. You can tell the ice cream here is made with love!

The ice cream is astoundingly good. Not for a vegan spot, but if we’re going to focus on that aspect, it’s out of this world great. Like Tony the Tiger great! The waffle cones are next level, especially when they’re hot off the press. Here’s the thing, most vegan spots can get away with a very good coconut milk based profile.The main problem is most of the flavor is coconut which can be a problem if you don’t like coconut. But this spot has a interesting blend on each of their flavors.Nothing can be pinned down on what alt milk choice they made. It’s just so creamy and so delicious. We didn’t even mean to go here, we just happened to be around the corner and we searched for ice cream and it was the closest place. I’m so glad we stopped in.

Visiting Maine from Pennsylvania, discovered this amazing gem. Having to be gluten free because of celiac.... this was heaven. A gluten free waffle cone that was filled with a delicious peanut butter brownie ice cream. Something I havent enjoyed in years!! Just heavenly sweet! Amazing place!!

Its pretty good! Typically, I dont like excessive coconut flavor in my ice cream because it overpowers all the other flavors. The kinds we tried both had this issue. I recommend ordering anything with a more robust flavor or something that compliments coconut well. I do appreciate vegan waffle cones deeply though. Definitely pricey, but a vegan ice cream joint is hard to find in Portland.
