I did not have a positive experience with this company. We needed to get 2 glasses replaced at home for tempered glass. We took 1 window to their shop. They scheduled a tech to come to the house and take measurements. When the windows came in the tech came out and the windows he had were the wrong size and were not tempered. We simply asked them to re measure and to order for tempered glass.3 weeks later they were able to come back (after several phone calls). When the tech came back he had tempered windows :) unfortunately they were the wrong size. When I called the office, and told the attendant I may need to go with another company he replied Thats fine, I dont care what you do, it doesnt matter to me.Our project is now delayed.
Deplorable behavior: Id contacted Alpine Glass for an estimate on extensive window work, including some that was urgent. They sent someone out who left without giving an estimate and didnt contact me for the rest of the day. I contacted Alpine to see if they had an estimate ready, as Id already received 2 other quotes for the urgent work over the phone. Monica picked up the phone and was extremely rude, even laughing at me. When Bret finally took the call, he was likewise rude. He was either not been informed of or had forgotten about the extensive work I need done interrupting, me and saying we dont even roll out for less than $200 in a nasty, mocking tone when I told him about quotes Id received for the urgent work. Absolutely awful.
We sent our travel trailer window there to get repaired. They have had it for 2 months and never returned phone calls on updates. They have febrile our window TWICE now and then tried to charge us for the broken window. DO NOT take your stuff to get fixed here.
This place has been AMAZING for replacing cracked panes of my old sash windows - but call ahead to make sure they’re actually working their posted hours. Showed up at 4:40 today and the shop was shut and it was supposed to be open til 5. I’ll be back anyway!
Great glass shop. Busy, but everyone is these days.
Great people to work with. Quick and affordable. Highly recommend.
I called to make an order for a glass and the woman who attended me was very rude, I do not recommend this place, it is terrible
As a finish Carpenter and contractor Ive ordered varied products from single and double pane windows to Glass shelves, partitions and mirrors. I have never had an item made incorrectly and all items have been delivered on time. The staff, Vern in particular have been friendly and helpful in choosing the right product for the project I was working on. I would certainly recommend them as a good go-to for your neighborhood glass shop needs.
Top Notch Service. Ive used them several times and they always provide consistent and timely results!
Our three-year-old shower enclosure was leaking a fair amount of water from the bottom onto the floor. A couple of shower door companies wouldnt even consider the job (too small) and a couple of others said the entire enclosure needed to be replaced at over $1200. For a fraction of the cost, and with terrific service, Alpine was able to make some adjustments and a simple permanent fix. No more leaking! Were beyond pleased and highly recommend this outfit for glass and shower door needs.
I handle a few hundred apts and they provide good quality mirrors and service for us. Their guys have been there a long time and I trust them.
Work was done by Dave and he was outstanding. Took less than an hour to replace my broken window pane and at a very fair price. Couldnt be happier. Would recommend happily!!!
Came by to give me a quote was told it would be two days max for the quote to complete and they would let me know. I called them two days later and they had forgotten what I even needed a quote on, was instructed to call back two days from then and I would get my quote. Waited two more days and phoned them again, was told they didnt know how long it would be and they would call me back never received a return call.
DO NOT GIVE ALPINE GLASS YOUR BUSINESS. I could run you through the 6 week saga but heres the condensed version: the owner verbally abuses customers, they cannot keep a schedule, they are incapable of communication, they overcharge for their services and they are unwilling to take any sort of responsibility for their own employees. By the way, they have had employees test positive for COVID-19 so the installer you come in contact with might be carrying COVID while not wearing a mask.
This might be a great place to purchase a reasonably priced mirror or glass, but they have incompetent installation practices and unprofessional business practices. The bottom of our huge bathroom mirror has settled and is now sitting on the backsplash of our counter, causing a 2 tall slice to chip off the edge from the pressure. This mirror was installed only 2 years ago. When talking to Brett, the owner, he insisted that there should be blocks permanently placed for spacing under the mirror on top of our backsplash, that they must have been moved. The installers put strips of rubber spacers that stuck out like tongues, directing us to remove them after a period of time, which we definitely waited through when we did. However, there are NO *permanent* blocks that were placed during installation. The mirror is also getting close to sitting on the backsplash at the opposite bottom corner. He also said the loss of space was to be expected due to movement in the house over time (which then they should plan for). Again, it has only been 2 years. I have a lifetime left in this house I renovated. In talking to Brett about what could be done, he said theres nothing they could commit to since it didnt happen in the first year warranty coverage time, and I dont know why were talking about this still. He also changed his tune, after insisting for quite some time that there should be permanent spacing blocks, to there are a couple different ways you can install a mirror. I reminded him of the ***many*** times HE was adamant that permanent spacing blocks should be in place, and that they werent EVER put in place by his installers (he wouldnt tell me the name when I asked), that *he suggested I moved them*, and THAT is why we are STILL talking about it now. He responded by hanging up on me. This is totally unprofessional. I am completely disappointed in this company and am hoping this information is helpful to anyone else seeking their installation services in the future.
Terrible communication, they lost my paper work, and I waited three weeks for my glass before I cancelled the order. When talking with the manager of the company he was incredibly rude. I have never been so disrespected by a company that I was trying to give business too.I understand that these are busy times but the lack of respect and organization is inexcusable.
Good service and prices.
Ive used Alpine Glass a few times to replace glass doors after break ins. Really friendly people to go bottom, reasonable prices, quick and quality service. They do good work. BTW, they are listed as a window cleaning service but its probably not their focus... 😊
Great professional experience
I never write reviews but was so stoked at the results!! a couple of windows at my house got cracked and broken over time and Alpine Glass replaced them with kindness and efficiency. the windows are a great improvement from what was there when i moved in.in short, i strongly recommend this business 😊😊😊
Super nice and very skilled. I had a vintage fixture that needed a mirror fit, since it was old the circle was not exactly a circle anymore, they took a measurement and cut it on the spot! Will definitely be back, thank you!
Been there many times for over 25 years, still will go there in the future. Always good service and prices
This place is awesome. The service is great they have all the parts you need
Never had any issues here, you get what you ask for.
They did not give me an invoice when I made my order. The guy told me $640 for the project, and then when I went to pay he said $704!. He overcharged me with the classic bait and switch technique, the work was substandard and defective and they had to make last minute repairs to the project before I could leave with my purchase, and the guy at the front desk had a bad attitude. Not impressed with this company, and would recommend that you purchase your glass products at another dealer.
I dont write reviews. It would have to be either a stellar experience or an unusually bad one to inspire me to write a review. Unfortunately, in this instance, it is the latter.Alpine glass did the original install of our shower glass and door during a fairly extensive remodel. After a few years, the gasket in the lower hinge began to fail, and ultimately slipped out of place dramatically. I called Alpine Glass to have the repair done, fully expecting that I would have to pay for it. When their repair person arrived, he was courteous and efficient. He did inform me however, that the repair should not have been necessary, and that if the install had been done properly, this problem would not have happened. He told me he would report back to the company that his opinion was that the hinge had not been tightened to specs, and as a result the gasket had slipped. He said I should not have to pay for it. He also did mention that they wouldnt be too eager to hear what he had to say, as they are under a lot of pressure to bill out for service calls. When I received the call from Alpine Glass telling me the amount due, I discussed with them what their repairman had told me, and that I was not expecting to pay for something due to an improper installation, as noted by their repairman. I was told that it was out of warranty. I asked him if the opinion of their repair person was being taken into consideration, and I was simply told that they have to pay their servicemen for a service call. Its short-sighted and opportunistic of them, to ignore the advice of their technicians. They would rather bill today, than honor the work theyve done in the past. I even went so far as to point out the message he was sending about their values and business practices by charging for work to repair a job that was necessary only due to their own improper install. For the record, I am happy to pay for work done and I am happy to take financial responsibility for home ownership and maintenance and upkeep. This is an instance though, of a company not standing behind their work, and as such I feel it is my responsibility too, to issue a warning to others who may be considering Alpine Glass. They do not value their customers. They do not grasp the importance of their reputation. They are in it for the immediate paycheck, not the long term relationships.Buyer beware.
Took window glass in to be replaced, was fixed in a couple hours and ready for me to pick up. Price was the cheapest by far compared to other glass repair places. Over all the quality was great and very satisfied with service. Staff was friendly and helpful as well!
I read thru the MANY previous negative reviews to see if my issue was a common issue and I cant help but see that it is. It seems they are over-booked or shorthanded or both. Im on my seventh call to them to simply install 1 piece of glass in my front door that they have; already cut and ready to go. Again, Ive called seven times in total and Ive been stood up four times in total on all our appointments for either taking measurements in the beginning to the installation and each time there was no phone call letting me know they wont be able to make it. I would then have to call them to find out what happened, and they would have no idea who I am or what appointment Im talking about. Then I get the Let me figure out whats going on and Ill call you right back and nothing... NO call back, nothing....crickets.I wouldnt be irritated if it werent for the fact 1) Ive been dealing with this since June (its August now) and 2) Ive had friends here to wait for them because I work on all the days they said they say they have available.Im not sure if the owner or even the Manager just doesnt care about their service or doesnt know how disorganized and bad it is. I cant imagine he/she doesnt read their reviews and investigate the problems and try to fix it. But perhaps they just dont even care....Thats my 2-cents. If you go with these folk, good luck to you. If it ends up being a bad experience like mine, you were warned...
Very unorganized and unprofessional. Waste of time.
Super!!! Same day professional service, great price. They left the place cleaner (and smelling better) than prior to arrival!
We needed glass for the top of some new bedroom, and were referred to Alpine by another glass company. Very reasonable prices, and excellent quality. Glass was ready 3 days earlier than promised. Highly recommended.
Ugh. I took time off work on 3 different occasions to meet these goons so they could bid a custom shower glass project at my home. The stood me up all 3 times. The first time they called after missing the apt. and gave me a story about how their employee was deathly ill and needed to go to the hospital. Seemed legit and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We rescheduled for a second time which they completely missed. No call, no heads up, no apologies until the next day when they called to make up another excuse.I asked if they could do an early morning (before 9am) or after 4pm so I wouldnt need to break up my work day as much. They said this is not possible so we rescheduled a 3rd time for 3-4pm on a Tuesday.Tuesday at 3:38pm rolls around and they called saying they would be here within the hour. An employee called an hour later to say he needed to reschedule for another day.Really? Reschedule a 4th time because they missed the previous 3? No way.
Good job on cutting glass edge
Nick was speedy and fast at repairing our patio window our big dog Jack crashed through. He cleaned up 100%. The price quoted was exactly what we paid. When we plan on doing all our other windows they will be our first choice.
We walked in to their showroom looking for a glass shower door and two steps inside I was choking on the cigarette smoke that filled the room. Theres no way we could stay there, and theres also no way we would patronize a business that has such little respect for the comfort and health of its customers.
Owner doubted me when I explained the existing problem with my shower door. He did not seem interested in making any kind of new shower door sale with me. Customer service was terrible.
I had a glass shelf made at another glass shop. It took almost two weeks to get it and, when it came, the length was incorrect. After trying multiple places in town, I called and spoke with Chris at Alpine and he told me I could bring it in and he would cut it right away. It literally took less than two minutes to exit my car, walk in, have Chris cut it and walk out. Well be using Alpine for all our glass/mirror needs from now on. Thanks, Chris!
Alpine is wonderful! Our store was broken into and they were there repairing the glass that day! We can not say enough about their employees and their service!
Prompt, responsive, and reasonable. They did what they said they would do. Thats saying a lot in a time when you cant get contractors and vendors to call you back for anything!
Love Alpine Glass. Always fast, always cheap, and love the friendly service, especially Chris with the tattoos.
Wish I could put 0 stars. This company was terrible. Will never recommend them.Honestly if your reading this please consider a different company and save yourself some stress and avoidable troubles.Brett is the worst of them all. Along with the lady who runs the front desk. They should be shut down. They threaten, harras, manipulate, embarrass, and downgrade you. And Im not overreacting im serious.Keep on moving they dont deserve your money.
Finished my broken window very quickly. Thanks!
Prompt, professional, and left no mess. Would gladly use them again. Had them replace some broken panes in an old window.
At this time I am completely astonished at this business operation. About 3 months ago I had AGS cut and install a shower door that was broken by an employee. I provided all the measurements, hardware and photos of original remaining door to save the hassle of them sending someone out or causing a delay.About a week later someone called to let me know the door was ready for pickup... That wasnt the plan. I then had to call them to schedule an install. Of course as a business owner and manager I understand things happen, however I was called late on a Friday that they werent going to make the appointment so it was rescheduled. Then again, they called another rescheduling for another week out. At this time we are a month into our first interaction. Once the technicians did arrive for the install they bickered the entire time about who, what, how. This was not only in front of me but also my client. So once installed I began pointing out some things and they continued with excuses or it will go away (looks like tape residue) but it hasnt and the door handle was missing. At this point the conversation moves outside not in front of my client and I am told they dont have the hardware it was never received. So then a conversation is had with Brett about this hardware and I am told that the following week it will be installed it was a mix up. Now here I am 3 months later, no hardware and no communication with AGS.Oddly enough I send an email about getting an invoice to pay and the response is immediate but yet they wont respond to service calls or emails at all. From a business person, DO NOT USE AGS!
Quick service at reasonable prices
Perfect tempered glass shelves
They were really helpful and kind and professional about their craft, they knew exactly what i needed and were patient and courteous despite my lack of knowledge on this matter, i send my deepest regards to the whole staff, especially to the kind woman at the front counter and tattooed Chris, they really helped me even after a mistake was made on my end, would recommend 10 out of 10 for all glass needs and professional environment
The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to get my small custom order done while I waited. I definitely recommend this shop for custom glass work.
Great people and always are able to fill my request
Just had some cuts done. Very nice people.
Fast and reliable at a good price
They cut some glass plate for me. Mostly got it right.
HIS IS THE WORST, SHADIEST COMPANY.The 5 star ratings must be from relatives or people paid to write reviews. This company is just the worst. I had to call back 3 times over the course of 6 days to get someone to finally take my call to schedule an estimate. That should have been my cue right there to run far, far away. But I moved ahead and was scheduled right away for the estimator to come out and measure. Seemed promising so I was willing to ignore the previous unprofessionalism. The guy who was sent out, Gene appeared to be altered in some way. He was talking a mile a minute, body twitching and eyes bugged out of his head, bouncing all over the place when I would ask questions, and sweating profusely. I shouldnt have even let him in my house. This was on a Wednesday. By the following Tuesday, I had still not yet received an estimate. So once again, I should have run far, far away. But I called and was too that they are swamped and that I could expect an estimate by noon. THE NEXT DAY I finally get an email with no cost breakdown & no information other than a price. HAHAHAHA. As if I am just going to accept that and hire the company. At one point he began to rattle off cost on things like outlet cutouts, but he gave me 3 different prices within the conversation. None of it jived. So once again I asked for a cost breakdown and here is what I was told (these are all direct quotes that I wrote down as I spoke with the guy).I cant really give you a cost breakdown by square foot of mirror. I just kind of write down what it costs; I get 20 emails a day, I dont have time to write out each individual estimate with actual cost breakdowns; If I took the time with each individual customer to give them an actual breakdown of what things cost, I would never get any work done.HAHAHAHA. Yep. I swear to God this is what I was told.Needless to say, between the complete lack of customer service, the repeated attempts to get someone to call me back, the estimator who acted as if he was altered, and the real winner who refused to go over a cost breakdown with me, I have happily moved on to another company. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Always the best and prompt service.
They fixed our broken window screens. They did a great job, for a reasonable price.
Nick, of Alpine, was very efficient and his work was to our satisfaction.
Very happy with the mirrors I bought, but cigarette smoke inside the building gave me a massive asthma attack.
Had some hard to find shower door seal!
Great service and a great price
My price quote was super expensive, more than double of the place I ended up ordering from.
Good Work, Friendly, Fast.
Great customer service
Great place
Great local company
Terrible. The service, the product, the professionalism.
Awesome Service and Prices!!!
