Awesome products but -- more importantly -- fantastic staff. Seriously. Its why I keep coming back. Knowledgeable, but never condescending; helpful, but never intrusive.
Always good when your shopping housewares. They also feature furniture but Ive never needed any firm there, however would be worth it to take a look. Excellent for every type of kitchen tool or storage imaginable. Excellent high quality knives, dinnerware, and seasonal decorations.
They are often knowledgeable, usually well stocked and rarely have a sense of humor.
Very friendly customer service. Employe asked me almost immediately if they could help me find something, and she immediately went and grabbed it for me. We needed a new cherry pitter for work @Lucca, the had exactly what we needed. Got lucky it was the last one they had in stocks at the time. Thanks yall 😊!
A nice upscale kitchen store.
I love this store. Good quility kitchen ware and much more. I just picked up an apron and some hot pads. I will be back to get my dutch oven.
One of the few places left in NE Portland where you can buy quality household items. Prices range from moderate to expensive depending on your budget.Staff is friendly and knowable of their products and can bring an item from another of their stores, if its available saving you a trip to another part of town. Which is what they did for me on my last visit.
They had a lot of things but not exactly what I wanted.
Stock was low, but thats shopp8ng before Xmas.... Knowledgeable staff, great selection of products. They keep the number of shoppers low due to Covid, thjs is a nice change from many businesses.
The knowledgeable staff provided great advice and helped pick out the supplies needed for my first successful cheesecake. They also have a good selection of gadgets across various price ranges and feature sets. Ill be going back in the future for their great selection of spice jars.
(Update 6/22/19) reducing two stars. Used to be friendly and a pleasant place to go to. Now with the new employees (the teenage women specifically) are rude, incredibly loud, their friends seem to just hang about if you visit on a weekend afternoon. Today when I visited, I was greeted by one of their new employees lounging in the patio furniture and asked if I was looking for something. I found it quite odd that lounging at work is seemingly okay, I certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that at work. I was looking at getting a kitchen aid mixer, but the music was so loud in the corner (been that way the past month or two when I go in) that I couldn’t handle it. Ended up just getting a few knickknacks. I don’t know that I’ll visit again, which is a shame.Amazing selection if not a bit overpriced at times. (I am embarrassed how much I spend when I go here.) quality kitchen items for which I have never been disappointed by any products that I’ve bought. Don’t forget to check out upstairs where it is more home goods!
There should have been better communication with customer service about product returns. They need to verbally say out loud that they are not taking merchandise back because of COVID. I told the person at the cash register that I want to keep my receipt in case it doesn’t satisfy me and she stuck it in the box for me. I literally was not satisfied with the product took it back and was refused. I am totally not about money at all. I am about communication and transparency. Speak the expectations when someone purchases an item during this time. Another thing, I understand why KK has the guidelines but share that openly when the purchase occurs. Sorry for the unfortunate times.
I love kitchen Kaboodle. Great to visit for inspo, cute and classy gifts and their sales are great. Staff is always super friendly. Parking can be a bit of a drag though.
Decent kitchen supplies not overly helpful staff.
This place is epic! Yesterday I stopped in and was very soon asked if I wanted any help. I absolutely did, having hoped for some advice in choosing the best products to make my morning coffee at home exactly the way I love it. Niko helped me out, friendly, focused, listening to my needs rather than just recommending a favorite product of his own. I bought the coffee devices we decided were my best choice, and this morning I made an absolutely fantastic coffee drink. It was so smooth and easy with the right tools! :-)
I had a great experience here. I bought knives and am no kitchen buff. The staff member who helped me made it very easy. He said he was fairly new but had some on the job training. Love that they are teaching their staff. It really shows. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Great selection of kitchen and pantry essentials and helpful staff!
Nothing I wanted but lots of cool things I dont kneed
Perfect example of what a brick and mortar store should be and why we need them. The amount of different items this store carries is awesome. Knives, place settings, cookware and gadgets are just a few of the things available. They also have an upstairs that has amazing furniture. I highly recommend this store for most any of your kitchen needs.
Polands own house wares shop. Been going here for decades now and they always have the best stuff for your kitchen.
My go to place for anything kitchen.
It could have been helpful to be told of the 50% items on sale at the front of the store. I bought some items inside the store higher price, not on sale, that are the same to the ones on the table at 50.00 %, but I only got aware of this table at the end when I had to go. No one came to me to ask if I needed any info., assistance. I had to look for those who work in the store and asked about certain items. I encourage better customer service, engage with customers, show appreciation for them being in your store. At the end, It is about people, not things!!!!
Went in for a quick stop to pick up a couple things, and got accused of being a thief. They wouldnt let me take my inexpensive item to the counter myself because Theyve been experiencing a lot of theft lately. Meanwhile, there are other people carrying more expensive items around without getting hassled at all. I guess unless youre a middle aged white women named Karen they think youre a thief. It was humiliating and embarrassing.
They were good, only, I felt like I was being watched
Prices are a little high for this local boutique store, but youd be hard-pressed to find a wider selection of all things kitchen and kitchen supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to talk through your needs to make sure you have the right solution. This would make a great spot for a wedding registry. Check out the sponge collection. No joke its pretty ridiculous. Dont forget to go upstairs for furniture and other goods. Lots of other shops nearby make Kitchen Kaboodle a great part of a home goods shopping trip. Parking in the rear is free if youre a customer, just dont take an apartment spot.

We bought a kitchen knife. I cant say it was the most thrilling experience in my life. The staff was nice, professional. Its a kitchen gadget store for trendy people, and Im not trendy so I dont really shop there. IMO they are too expensive anyway.
When I need a unique piece of kitchen utensils I go here. I have bought cooking pans, knives, napkins, Japanese pour over coffee systems plus filters and recently a French press.
Nice collection of needed items for the kitchen, the dining room and select items for the rest of the house
My favorite store. Super staff, local business, stock from basics to top of the line. Patio furniture was assembled by the warehouse staff, super helpful. Often find local things for birthday and visitors.
Went in for a roasting pan. Saw the price and about died. Checked Amazon while in the store and the exact same pan was 50 dollars cheaper.
Gotta say, first time there I was kinda underwhelmed. I was looking for a local alternative to Sur La Table. They have an incredible selection of La Creuset cookware as well as lots of plate sets and such. I suppose if you were looking for a nice wedding gift, come here. If youre looking to nerd out on kitchen gadgets, maybe look elsewhere.
Lots of cool stuff. I needed a small juicer and they had lots of choices.
Came here to buy my Kitchen Aid and I was FLOORED by the help here. Educated, informed, and helpful. But not on commission? It seems like the people are here to help you based on the love of kitchen wares!! The prices are comparable to just about any major retailer, but considerably lower than places like Williams & Sonoma.
I always find great things for my home and yard the prices are high but you can always find really cool unique things several of the locations have closed I dont know how long this will last enjoy it while you can
They had the replacement carafe for our aging French press. Staff is wonderful. Prices on the high side of fair. Worth every penny to shop local.
Super, locally owned kitchen store packed with functional, beautiful kitchen & housewares.
Womens night! I really enjoyed my time at kitchen kaboodle this evening! Great samples, very knowledgeable associates!I hope to go back next year!
Smaller space, not a diverse selection of certain type of products within the price range. Home furnishing section is not adequately staffed. Looks like the solid business could you some upgrade to their merchandising & personnel training - to stay competitive.
Had just what we needed . awesome help by staff.
Good kitchen store. But doesnt have everything you might want.
The employees enjoy themselves and make me enjoy being there.
Can spend way to much money there. Quality products at reasonable prices.
Niche specialty kitchen store. We need places like this.
Almost anything and everything you could need for kitchen and household use. A local company, with multiple shops in the Portland metro area. Definitely worth a visit.
Lots of good things here and good prices
Awesome, very helpful and friendly staff!!
If you love kitchen goods or need outdoor furniture, this is the place. They also have some great indie dining
Fun store, great variety, good housewares brands, nice staff. Locally owned!
Great selection, but expect to leave with an empty wallet. Very expensive cookware.
Locally owned store with attractive and useful items for kitchens and other rooms. Great fun to explore!
This place is really nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful but damn is it overpriced. I dont mean overpriced as in they carry expensive stuff, which they do, and I like nice things, but everything is marked up 20-30% over MSRP. I was looking at a lodge cast iron griddle which they had priced at $80, you can get the same one from roses restaurant supply and several local hardware stores for $60. The pricing is the main reason for the 2 stars so take this next part with a grain of salt as I am rather utilitarian about my kitchen and dining stuff: the selection is not that great, theyre missing lots of basic items and instead have too wide a variety of decorative and gimicky items. If you want actual kitchen tools go to a restaurant supply store.
Great store, friendly service. Great selection.
Love this store ❤️
Very well stocked with useful and high quality products.
Amazing assortment of all things having to do food and dining.
Great shopping experience for kitchen addicts
Great customer service! Employees were very helpful and friendly.
Very helpful staff, nice products at good prices
Great selection of kitchen good but a little spendy.
I have always loved this store. Why? Because of the variety and reasonable prices.
Friendly staff, always willing to help and answer questions
Very good service, great selection of items for kitchens and patios, also great gift items in a variety of prices.a must visit store on North Broadway.
Neat little shop I walked passed.
Locally Owned and it shows. A Portland Icon for many years. Customer service is something that all stores should reach for.
Wonderful selection of kitchen stuff, a bit pricey
Great kitchen store with every thing you can think of. Very affordable!
Bad, bad, bad. A repeat of a bad experience a year ago when my wife and I went to the store to buy a coffee maker. We were assisted by a lay-about jackoff and left the store empty handed. Today was a repeat. The assistant had to have the last word, which was youre an idiot, but Ill tend to your problem anyway. Why would people with such lousy social skills and with such a huge chip on their shoulder want to be working with the public? I like the merchandise in the store, and much of the staff is friendly and well informed, but I wont return, ever.
What do you expect it has “kaboodle” in the name.
Locally grown kitchen store with excellent selection and above average customer service. Shop here!
Not good enough for my taste
Kitchen Kaboodle is a great local store. They really take care of their customers and even took a return without a receipt because they were able to look it up in their system.
Great variety, good value. Q love the holiday sales
Second time we have tried to buy a small appliance here and they are out of stock. Sales lady tried to steer us to another item with negative talk about our first choice (that they do sell!) A very negative experience, we are unlikely to return.
They treated my like a VIP and I got free espresso it was good to !
Always has what I need
Excellent selection of items for kitchen and dining needs. Furniture also.
I always check with Kitchen Kaboodle for all of my specialty kitchen needs. I have bought 3 beautiful Shun knives during the knife sale, a Le Creuset dutch oven, a Vitamix blending container and various sundry items.
Unique selection of kitchen items.
Well designed stuff at reasonable prices.
Love this store great place for all things kitchen
Always a great selection of things for the kitchen.
Very high prices and so-so help. Shop around and youll likely find much better prices at a less pretentious store.
You can find all the kitchen gadgets you might be looking for.
Great store. Excellent service.
They have good gear but expensive
Limited selection of high quality kitchen and living accessories.
Lovely selection, and super-attentive staff!
Always love looking at all the items.
This is a cooks Shangri-la.
Great selection, super helpful staff. Hidden parking in the back.
Great staff. Extremely helpful.
Fun kitchen wares, and good prices too
Derick was super helpful.
I like that the is customer services from the clerks without made to feel foolish or dumb.
There in Portland so its expected for them to be a little expensive the reason why Im giving them a 5-star rating is because they have obscure stuff you cant find anywhere else unless you want to buy it online so it can be a lifesaver
Expensive but they have a big selection
