Update: 9/17/21I went in tonight for cookies, just cookies, in and out. Sure. Decided to swing through the crafts aisle. So well stocked with a truck-load more items waiting to be put away. Sean in that aisle was very busy and also very helpful. I got a few new things, went for the cookies: Bauducco brand sugar wafers are like heaven on the tongue and addictive, if you like sugar wafers these are the best anywhere. So many reader glasses too. I had to get a couple more pair because of the color selection even though I have plenty at home. At the front registers Erin and Daisy were very friendly and efficient. It’s seriously been a lot of fun going to Dollar Tree these days, as a veteran of customer service it’s been top-notch.**********. ***********I’ve been shopping at this location for about six years (sorely disappointed when the downtown W. Burnside location closed as it was near where I live). It has gone from pretty good to pretty awful to not bad up to where it was today which is the best it’s ever been. Clean, with well- stocked shelves, helpful staff and a crafts section that keeps growing, made it a pleasure to shop. Keep up the good work.
It has plenty of space for a bunch of people who walk around. It has no public restrooms, but no worries the mall is right across the street has several public records. As you can see they also have stuff down for the pandemic and making sure everyone is safe. Me and my best friend met here. She got the idea for me to take pictures of stuff in the store and put it up for sale on website.Thank you for checking my review out. If you could please follow me or like my post in my pictures I appreciate that. The reason being is Google gives us more points for doing the reviews and everything and Im trying to earn more badges. I also wanted to show everyone other places.
My husband and I went to this Dollar tree and saw a guy stealing about $5-8 dollars worth of items and the cashier says that they can’t do anything at all, the nice woman in front of us so angry that all of the shop lifting being done that this cashier wouldn’t call no one at all.No wonder why Dollar Tree is going down the toilet.Your staff doesn’t care and us customers have to pay the price!!!This is why Dollar Tree will raise prices because of the shop lifters who steal. What is the matter with you Dollar Tree don’t you care about us customers?????
It has nameBrand items that you okay five or six dollars more a Safeway aint that the same product from the dollar store for a
Absolute garbage customer service. About a week ago I had a reciept and I asked for $50 cash back the lady only gave me $40 and when I came back she denied this. Also Last night I was just inside here I spent $16.56 and I bought some toilet paper. The woman cashiering never gave me a receipt or my toilet paper and they refuse to give me what I had already paid for. Ill never go here again. Waste of money and time
I really like this location one alot cause its right next to the mall. There organized but this location always runs out of everything in every aisle. I think its (it might) a flagship location in the state of Oregon. Idk.....
This is by far my favorite Dollar tree store. It has the best selection and doesnt feel cramped for space.
I really love going to the Lloyd Center $1 Store. All of the employees are very nice and polite, and they have everything you need,My Cousin Eric just took me there and I bought alot of kitchen stuff, food,Bactive disinfectant wipes that kills the COVID-19 virus.Thank.Keep up the very great job.
Best place to shop for quick needs
Im giving it for only because then I people that work there that close the store are so wonderful! I am always the last one of the store when I go because I am not able to get in there at appropriate time. And Im screwing up to the register at the last moment to pay for my things. And theyre so nice to me they pack things regularly right, and dont rush me and try to push me out the door. The stock is pretty well kept sometimes. Theyre all out of the stores kept pretty clean though. Its not a real big store and it dont have a real large selection on things but overall theres not really too much bad to say about it. They can just use more gel pens adult and craft items.
The women with black long hair, super nice and so patient as I am not organized and she was so nice. Short old african american dude was one of the rudest people ever. Guy actually had no clue what his job is, at the DOLLAR TREE. Not the younger one who was very polite and helped me out when old guy just kept saying rude things because he was wrong and just couldnt move on.
Comes in handy when needed. When fully stocked with the merchandise its about 4.5 the customer service has become much more friendly and helpful.
The $1store is one of the very best places to go if you dont have a lot of money, its got very good junk food, must of the mens Hygiene is good, and they have the very best greeting card you get 2 for $1.The Employees are very nice, polite.
I love Ross they have everything and for a very good price
At 1 st I wasnt impressed. I asked 3 different Dollar Tree Personal where something was & none of them didnt know where the Item was to be found.I eventually found what I was needing on my own.
F-ing love the dollar store!!!
A larger location, convenient to downtown. Clean. Friendly staff. Good COVID measures in place. Tons of parking and on a bus route. This location has a frozen food section. Sometimes they could use an additional cashier, but the lines move reasonably quickly.
Not crowded still have a lot of items out of stock. Plenty of Toilet paper
This store is always well stocked. I always find what Im looking for and so much more! Employees greet me when I come in or say Goodbye when I leave .I appreciate their great customer service!
Super nice staff. The inventory rotates a lot. I find lots of goodies here.
They were out of D cell batteries, better luck next time 😂📲🎵🎧🇺🇸great American store 🔊
Quiet space, social staff, a bit moody at times but overall well managed.
This store is very big and has a huge selection.
Dollar tree. I dont know what else to say..
Was at the store earlier this week, and again it was a very pleasant experience. Consistently wide selections, fun items, and great service. The service was extra great this time visit and I really appreciate the time the associates took to assist me.NO cons for this location or its service.
Management team works very hard.
I have been in many times when it is busy. Recently I went to buy a couple dozen misc items and it was slower. I was helped once while shopping by a nice woman and when checking out my casher was amazing.
Lloyd Center Dollar Tree is THE best Dollar Tree hands down! Best selection and the BEST customer service! Always greeted warmly and very helpful if needed. Sometimes I have gone in there and those ladies are always smiling and looking like they really enjoy being there. So nice to see these days, as customer service rarely exists anymore! Great store! Great employees!
The staff is always so friendly to me and my son every time we go 😊
A lot of items for a dollar well worth it!
The friendliest and most helpful staff. Manager/ Supervisor Aloha was super helpful and very knowledgeable about products here. Served customers quickly and very politely. I definitely recommend this store based on the amazing customer service Aloha and her team offers.
Staff very helpful and polite. Would like to work there.
Standard dollar store.
I love it. Everything is a $1‼️‼️💯❣❣💙💙
The staff are super friendly and helpful and I love them. However, the inventory constantly looks like a natural disaster or zombie apocalypse just hit and the store was ransacked - shelves bare or scattered, basic staple products completely out of stock. Not sure why, and I wont fault the employees for it who seem to be doing the best they can, but after moving here from Beaverton, this store seldom is worth the trip since Im lucky to get 1/4 of the items I know they carry but werent in stock.
A solid dollar store doing their best in a busy and homeless-population-heavy part of downtown. I stopped in tonight for a spool of floral wire, and when I was unable to find it myself an employee stopped what they were doing and walked me over to it. The little extra touches like that are a bonus, and something I dont anticipate when dollar store shopping.
Plenty of bargains for those that love a good deal! How can you go wrong for a dollar? (Especially on the grocery side, with a pretty good selection)! If you want stuff with a longer life from the hardware section, go to Walmart, but for a dollar the things there will get you by for now.
They are the best Dollar Tree in this area. More variety of products, more organized, restroom available for customers only, staff is helpful. I Live closer to 43rd but prefer Lloyd Center, worth going an extra mile. .
To many loafers feel very unsafe!!!
They varry different items at each Dollar Tree. If you find something that you like and go back to get some more no guarantees it will be there and no guarantees that it will be reordered. This particular Dollar Tree has a friendly staff and helpful too. It is possible that you will see more security at this location than others. Well-stocked.
Things Are Looking Better now anyway
This location is HUGE! We met a friendly methhead. Taught my son a lesson about drugs. It was actually a fun experience.
Big discount store. Everything is a $. Busy. Always interesting what you 🔍 there. Different sometimes from store to store. People are sometimes helpful and sometimes they are and sometimes not. Depending on the store you go to.
Showed up today to find it closed till further notice. A quick google search shows they were closed by the state for failing its second inspection. Rat infestation.
Large store, not very organized, not well stocked.
Always end up spending more money 💰 than I plan on 😁.
Gary is a super manager with many great employees like cashier Aimee, who is super knowledgeable. A huge selection of goods in this giant store at that awesome $1 or less price! The best quality for the lowest prices in town on most items for sure! $1 buys some incredible deals here on groceries, medicines, beauty goods, cleaning supplies, toys, books, dvds, pet supplies, party items, craft items, school supplies and much much more!
This is great place to stretch the dollar, for the budget. Easy to navigate. Great customer service.
I had the most negative experience as a customer in my life. I was shopping for work there, when a store employee approached me and told me that I must place my backpack in the locker. I was in a rush, I had one more thing to purchase. I just went to get it. She approached again and said: let me get a quarter for you for the locker. I said: Im leaving, I just need to pay and go. I was lining up at the cashier and she forced me to go at her register instead. She kept giving looks at me and when I said: do you have a sign on the door about the backpacks? she said she would not sell me anything and she would call security. I was unable to run a craft activity at work that day. I will never shop at that Dollar Tree again and probably at Dollar tree at all.
The Lord has blessed me in many many ways and I just want to share that I want to try to spread that compassion and love two others who are in need of it may everybody be blessed but let us pray for the ones who need help the most theres too much suffering here in this world we need to pray all together the world.
Love this place.
Came here for last minute holiday wrapping paper, gift boxes, etc. Its a dollar store... nothing groundbreaking is ever expected. They have a great selection but this store is a hot mess. Several things are literally thrown around, several items are opened/missing contents, and lines are long.
They always have what I need in a pinch
Awesome price for cleaning supplies. You might use a bit more but you still save money. Demerits for inadequate customer service.
A lot of changes in stock and variety. Not likening that at all. But still cant beat dollar tree
Had to update the hours because they close at 8 now and they didnt let me in at 7:58 to grab orajel for my toothache
Always friendly
Customer Service was on point
They have a no bag policy that they only enforce on some people. A lady came after me yelling sir you need to put your backpack in a locker only to see two other guys walking with backpacks in the store minutes after I was told to store my backpack. They should really pay for more security rather than segregating. I will never shop here again. I guess the owner does not realize how to run a store because you will notice almost all of the complaints are about the same problem and Im sure it wouldnt be so bad if the employee was not as rude as she is.
This is a good sized Dollar Tree and offers the same as all of the others but if you can, avoid this destination. Every time I go here I remind myself never to come back. The customer service is sub-par at best, it is generally disorganized, and they dont allow you to bring bags of other merchandise into the store, which if it wasnt located in a mall I would agree with, but it is a huge draw back.
Rude workers, been in there a million times with my gym bag/ backpack came in today and I guess I looked homeless when someone said something about some new backpack policy funny because no one said anything to my friend who went in not post a workout so I guess she didnt look homeless enough to be talked to about her bag. On the same occasion some older gentlemen worker was getting snippy with me so greeted them all with a sky high f@$k off finger in the air. Not my best day but, all these bafoons need to be fired and replaced with people that understand customer service. And put a damn sign on the door about backpacks, youve gone through the trouble to add one about bikes not being allowed.
It always has a good selection of items for a dollar . None of the food items are expired . Store help is friendly .
Cash app didnt load
Buy the slippers there, because my puppy gets them and chews them!
Good place to get stuff but staff is rude when i ask simple guestions
Used to be the best but now they dont keep it stocked. I keep going back hoping they do, but still nothing
I can always find the stuff I need at this dollar tree with a reduced price which is always nice. The store is aging but is still a great stop to get snacks and household items at.
This is my favorite Dollar Tree to visit it has a lot of items and the staff is always helpful and friendly. There are people that I see that have been there for years that Ive been shopping there for so many years. Id rather go to this Dollar Tree than anyone in the world
Biggest Dollar Tree in the area. Good selection. Though they sell out of stuff faster than most stores.
I am a cashier at this Lloyd Center Store...have been one since 2012. I felt compelled to write this review from an employees perspective. This store is huge and has everything from food, to toys, to craft supplies, holiday items, dishes, cleaning products, you name it, we probably carry it! I really like the customers we have here alot...all of them. Its a delicate balance to serve the needs of those that walk up to the store with the shopping cart they call home and the family of four that drives up in their BMW...I have repeatedly seen my fellow co-workers bend-over backwards to help and accommodate any customer that required it to ensure customers overall experience was a good one! Granted, every single encounter between employee and customer is not perfect, but under our new managers wings, we surly will strive to make every customer experience the best possible, showing we are all truly one of the best Dollar Tree Stores in existence today...watch us as we improve, shine and grow!
Great customer service no complaints
They have lots of really cool stuff and lots of categories every time you go and you have to buy something
It is good place to get some food if you are dont have that much money
Bleak is the best word to describe the vibe.
The employees are helpful and friendly everytime I go.I dislike the amount of registers open, especially when the store is busy.
I couldnt believe how affordable this store is, everything was only $1!! I would describe dollar tree as a combination of mind blowingly spectacular & fleek
Kind, cheap. willing to revisit. Little bit dirty
I always have a great experience when I go there. Enjoy someone greeting at the front door and making you feel you are welcome at the store. Excellant customer service and the cashers are always helpful.
Like to shop on a budget, so Dollar Tree is a great option for me. Now they have lockers that you have to put any bag you bring in with you. I guess theyre trying to deter theft. However, they cost 25 cents. After a kind stranger loaned me a quarter, turns out none of the available lockers even worked. I am not leaving my personal items unattended to, to do my shopping. I had to leave and unfortunately I will never return. I use public transit and Im not going to waste any time on the off chance they have working lockers.
The size of this store is wonderful, the selection is respectable, and the location is perfect.
Great deals. Cant beat a dollar yo.
I would not recommend buying food here. There is mouse feces and urine all over their shelves. The mice are getting into the food. That is why it smells so terrible in there.
Always friendly very helpful people always out of peanut butter grrr..
As far as Dollar Trees go this place is really good. Selection is vast and you wont get much better than this for a $1.
Cool stuff nice people good service EVERYTHING is a DOLLAR😳
Closed due to rat infestation. Failed second state inspection and was forcably closed. It is closed till further notice.
It was fine for what it is, everything was as expected, few new items that appear to be regular items, plus a few good deals
Lots of stuff for 1$
A lot of new stuff since resetting the layout. So much to look at. Check out stands get crowded quickly.
Nice shot. Good variety of items. Cant beat the price!
This one has tons of empty shelves, and the shelves that do have things look like a hurricane came through
This store closes on Sunday two hours prior to what corporate indicated on line when informing the closing manager of the error on line she was rude and told me that the store had fallen in to what she called bad store status meaning that due to thefts in the store they were forced to close the store early. I informed the closing person I already knew the store closed early as I had just found out after driving all the way there. When I told her the internet shows the store is open until 9 PM she told me its not her responsibility to update the internet information its HQ. Sounds more like the company has issues from top to bottom that simply are not addressed as much as you pretend to care about saving your customers money offering huge cuts on discounted items in theory is nice but if you dont care about letting your customers know the individual hours of each store by the most simple of methods posting it on line then truth is you dont care that customer who believe the store is open based on internet content provided using such information they proceed to make the trip to the closest store only yo find the doors locked two hours prior to what is posted on line then you have wasted not only the customers time but weat and tare on their vehicles and the fuel that is spent getting their and back. And to top it off being spoken to in that manner is not only completely uncalled for its down right rude. She should have simply said I am sorry sir I will take the matter up with HQ and let them k ow about your concerns. I dont appreciate her attitude or your choice to promote this individual to a level of management it was very unprofessional
Very nice selection. Very large location. Helpful staff.
Place closes at 8pm. Drove all the way over here 4 miles.
Its so biggggg and has so much stuffffs. Was so hard to leave. Best Dollar tree in Portland metro so far
No public restroom and not a precise order to the items. But the employees are very helpful.
