See See KTM is a new shop that opened in December of 2016. The staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. They were able to fit me in without a huge wait. They did a great job on my 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventures 27,500 miles major service, and charged a reasonable price for the work. If you own a KTM motorcycle, check them out!
Bought a 2017 KTM 300 here the first week they opened and have been back a bunch of times for parts/service and free doughnuts. Everything Ive needed has been in stock or on the shelf within a couple days and reasonably priced. The staff is knowledgeable and human. Kyle, Alexi, Thor, Jesze, and everyone else that works here seem more interested in weekend riding plans than trying to sell me chain lube. The mechanic Tony is a motorcycle brain surgeon. My bike comes back to me sparkling clean, bolts torqued correctly, everything greased, and itemized notes of everything done to the bike. Take a peek into the shop when you stop by - its the most organized room in Portland. Im stoked this place exists and have probably made more friends here in the last 2 months than my previous 3 years in Portland.
I stopped by shortly after they opened. The store has a great selection. The most impressive part was the owner though. The guy seemed really nice and also knows his stuff. I had a bunch if questions about the 450’s vs. 505’s and he had answers for everything. If I am ever in the market for a KTM I will be stopping here.
Great shop. Easy to deal with. Got my part overnighted. They offered me anything I needed. Changed the part myself in there lot.
I rode a KTM 500 across the country and chose these guys to store my bike before it was shipped back home. They were super nice and made sure it was in one piece! Awesome guys thanks again!
Everyone here was fantastic! Set up my 1290 SAR quickly and had me out the door, financed, in under an hour I’d imagine. Great coffee and good donuts too! Keep killing it guys ✊🏼
Staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great family type atmosphere and the free donuts and good coffee on Saturdays arent too bad either. In fact my experience just buying parts was so good I ended up buying my first new bike in 15 years.
I rolled up right when they put out the open sign, but they locked the door and didnt let me in, I wonder if it was my Latin raggaeton music? With that question and action of no service.Problably was best.
Great shop-good people. Reminds me of an old time bike shop where you actually meet and talk to the mechanic that is working on your bike. I had an excellent experience purchasing my new KTM.And when you look at what See See is doing for motorcycling in the Portland area (One Show-Flat Track- Dirt Quake) How can you not support this shop?
Everyone Ive met who works here is always super helpful with repairs and explanations. My bike is my baby and they always take wonderful care of it. Thank you all!
Your one stop shop for all things KTM. Great, friendly staff. Amazing owner. If youre in the market for a new KTM, some gear or just interested in talking moto life stop in.
From day one have had great friendly service! They have taken care of me every time Ive needed anything and even refused to charge me for services I was ready and willing to pay for. I would recommend them to anyone.
Great visit, no sales pressure. Spoke with Alexi, very knowledgeable. Would rate the visit a 5, on a 1 to 5 scale.
Glad to have a new KTM shop in the area. A lot closer for me than driving out to Gresham or Hillsboro. Full of great knowledgeable staff.
Neat small KTM dealer trying very hard. I bought a helmet there at very competitive prices and got to try it on for 10 minutes to be sure it fit well.
I brought in a basket case LC4 640 to set the crank In the cases. It became more of a challenge than either of us expected but Tony dug in and did a great job. Thanks!
Great service and finally a shop where people know what there talking about
Friendly staff, Good selection. KTM makes amazing motorcycles. If you believe your moto Should go anywhere your adventure leads. KTM should be your choice
I was very happy with the purchase and the service. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. I highly recommend SeeSee.
Solid dudes... picked up a nail or something on my Harley fatbob omw down to get coffee before work and they got me in and out. Even though it wasnt a KTM or their norm they still where more than happy to help. THANKS GUYS 👍👍
I bought a ktm 450 exc after getting my motorcycle endorsement. I own a yamaha mt 07 and now this ktm 450 exc six days. The bike is super fun to mess around the city and to hit some trails. Karma provided very good customer service and I was glad to buy the bike from him.
Helps that when you a customer calls how late you are open and you tell them 6pm. And when they show up at 4pm that youre closed. Off to a great customer service reputation.
Josh at the parts counter is super friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place that is fast and honest.
Very disappointed. The reviews here look like the service department is great but I would stay clear of buying a new bike from them. They posted an add for a duke 390 on craigslist that was on sale. I contacted them as soon as they opened on Tuesday (Closed Sunday and Monday) and asked MULTIPLE times if the price they quoted would change or if there were any hidden fees and the sales manager assured me that I would receive that price. After I filled out the paper work per their request, they said they would get a hold of me. I had to call them multiple times with no success. They finally called me Friday morning and told me the sale expired the weekend prior and now the price had gone up $700. The sales manager had changed his mind and would not talk to me. Needless to say they will not have my business.
A newly opened shop with very helpful staff and a super nice owner.
Probably the best service I have ever got when buying parts for my ktm
Nice guys. Havent picked up my bike yet though.
Great friendly, knowledgeable staff! Incredible attention to detail in all work
Great service and aittitude. Super knowledgeable willing to share it
These guys are great!! I didnt buy my bike from them but they were super helpful in dealing with some issues I was having. How many shops will take your carb apart and inspect it when you just walk in the door on a saturday? Not many. Friendly, knowledgable and fair prices. Lucky to have this shop in portland.
Staff was super helpful and got me the parts I needed.
Short version: No test rides. I still bought a new bike anyway and have had several issues with it that arent resolved. A terrible customer service experience overall. After I sent a few serious emails they are now working on it with the KTM USA corporate office. I will update this review when there is something new to report. The long version is below.-They dont do test rides. But I still bought a brand new 2017 KTM 690 Duke here in May out of brand loyalty, because I absolutely love my 2013 KTM. Big mistake! Ever since day 1, Ive had trouble with the bike and my communication with this shop.On the day I was to pick up my new bike I called to confirm it was ready. Once I arrived they said there were a few things they needed to finish before handing it over (fueling and a general check). I was promised it wouldnt be long, but during the day it developed into them trying to fix a problem that they didnt want me to see (still not fixed, btw). The problem being that the bike sometimes shows a warning on startup saying, ABS+MCT Fail. That day I waited around the showroom floor for 6 hours, and went home empty handed at closing. The next day when I came back they said that while its not a good thing to see, they explained that it was safe and good to go home. Then promising everything was fine and that KTM would eventually do a software update to fix the issue at an unforeseen date (latest conversation with the owner on 7/1 he told me that its now a relatively normal issue not software related and not a big problem). After complaining, the shop offered to make it right by covering my first service and the installation of my add-on parts. I was thankful for the offer, then we agreed to move on so I could try and enjoy my new bike.Fast forward to less than a week of ownership, and the bike develops another problem and starts overheating on me at random times at slow speeds & parked. I told the shop and they took it in, but they couldnt replicate the issue so they sent it home. Then it happened to me again the next week and this time my header pipe was glowing red after a 30min night ride in town. I brought it into the shop again, but they still couldnt replicate the problem. At this point, I tried to contact KTM corporate and after 2 phone calls where I waited on hold, I was only able to leave 2 voicemails and they never got back to me.After another round of the problem and taking it in, I was lucky enough to catch a picture of the issue. The owner had requested that I send him any updates directly, so I emailed him the photo of the problem. Unfortunately, it took almost 2 weeks for him to tell me he never saw my email even after I called in twice to ask his staff if he got it and to have him get back to me as soon as possible about what’s next. In that time I was able to capture even more pics and videos of the problem, which I then sent to the owner again. This time after a reminder text and message to another staff member, he got back to me promptly, informing me that KTM USA is now aware of the issue and finally taking it seriously.Right now, the bike is in their shop for its first oil change and also waiting to be analyzed by KTM USA. I also learned that there is now another new 2017 690 Duke purchased in the area that is experiencing the same overheating issue. While I acknowledge that this shop recognizes its mistakes and has offered to make up for them along the way, this has been a terrible experience for me. I want to like this shop, I believe they genuinely want to fix my motorcycle and make up for the problems Ive had. However, my experience has also been one of poor communication, a 6 hour wait, and them not being able to replicate my overheating issue despite having it almost 2 weeks in their shop so far. And while they have now promised to do everything they can to find a solution, I have had a lot of resistance along the way, which makes me regret ever buying this motorcycle in the first place.
Beyond-the-call-of-duty award to Tony for bailing out this stranded scooter rider with a needed jump start! Very generous with his time.
Road trip break down and they sorted me out fast and cheap.
