Im one of those people who thrive on customer service. Today I was upgrading my unit. I have to say I had a couple difficulties on my own but as soon as I met Lee and Trevor theyre excellent customer service made my day. They were polite kind and goal orientated. They made me feel important they made me feel at home. When you rent a storage space youre trusting your belongings to someone else. I can say that A1 Storage rocks!!Thank you Trevor for your advice and good I on the best Solutions for my belongings. And thank you Lee for training and assisting Trevor. Good rates, folks are nice. Carts are usually available to wheel your things to your unit. Gets a bit warm on the 4th floor in summer.

Easy and safe

I really appreciate the great service from Brittany, the manager. Shes very quick to respond to my needs, and any time theres an issue she uses good common sense and we quickly come to a resolution. Im so happy that Ive just started renting a second unit.

Have had a unit here for 9 years. The people have been really nice and helpful. Brittney is the best and you cant go wrong with her. They keep the building clean and you can rent a u-haul from them. I recommend them highly. ☆☆☆☆☆

After getting bad vibes from another facility I originally intended to rent from, I called A-1 Storage and (thanks to one of the employees, Brittany) very quickly reserved a larger, more secure unit at about half the cost. No complaints after 2 months!Great staff, honest and secure!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The units are clean. Its a little on the pricy side after the first three months but keep in mind youre paying for storage right next to downtown, so its going to be at a premium no matter what. All in all, excellent.

Have stored here for over a year. No complaints. No overcharges, facilities are clean and well kept. Office is easy to deal with and is always prompt to answer any questions I have.

This is one of the best storage facilities I have used in the last 25 years and I have used many of them. They are very secure, with individual alarms, and they have more than reasonable rates, which is why they keep customers and rarely have many openings. Also, if you keep really good communication with the staff when you are experiencing financial difficulties, they really try to look after you and help you. In my experience customer service is nearly always friendly and helpful.Yes it can be frustrating at times with only one freight elevator, especially if you happen to be doing a lot of moving when lots of people are there or you get discourteous people that will not close it up for others to use when they finish moving stuff out of it. If it makes sense for you and they have an opening, check it out!

High ceiling on ground floor

Leaky roof, not secure, accidentally opened someone elses storage unit with one of their keys for the locks they make you use, called the security company posted another time when I accidentally tripped the alarm and they said they didnt do security at this building. Nothing happened. Big garage door left open and unattended from 11 am to 5 pm when it was broken and nobody was in the office when I walked over and called. Pretty remarkably bad all around. Dont do it.

We had used this facility 25 or 30 years ago. We had a good experience then, so we decided to use it again. We had another good experience this time as well. We would be happy to recommend this facility to others or use it again. Thanks for being here for so many years!

Spudidorrible! The storage unit is dusty & dirty so it is over priced! I have never been to a storage unit this dirty. Its in an old building with dust & dirt. It gets worse i went in my storage unit & found a big roach on my suitcase😠!!!!! I took my things out & did not recieve any compensation or return of my money. I havent had my things stored 15 days & already found a roach & had to leave! This storage building is dirty not one storage unit is clean the whole building is old & dirty. SO ITS OVERPRICED! Only good use is if your storing dusty construction tools. Completely not a place to tell people they can store their things if they care about their materials & belongings.

These folks were extremely negligent in their handling of several situations. recommend finding another place to store your stuff. 0/5 stars, if I could .Kim a psychopathic paranoid bible thumper did not hear my request to be left alone, and proceeded to harass me for months . When I told her to stop sharing her bogus art work with me ( glittered post cards) she began calling the cops on me ( while I was within the verbal contract with management) for standing on the street outside of my unit, on a public street.Greg was an excellent manager, but the higher ups in the two years i rented did several things that were worrisome . For an entire day the garage was left open for repairs, with no supervision, and all the units have no roof! All of our stuff was jeapordized. When we called the security company, it came to our attention that they were a hoax and no longer provided security for the building .On another occasion,they changed my code without telling me, after I stored all my things, which was extremely stressful and inconsiderate .Spend your money somewhere else . Life is too short for this abuse and harrassment .

Terrible Customer service. The ONLY elevator in the building was out of service my moving day, I had a uhaul rented and helpers, and when I arrived it was out of service. The attendant working sat inside the office (it was 8:46) until 9am without coming to notify the 4 customers standing and wondering what was going on about the situation. When suggesting an email system to communicate these types of situations to customers, the lady was extremely disagreeable, argumentative and unpleasant to deal with arguing how unnecessary it is to half of the people....and I tried to explain how the other half could use notification. She said she could do nothing to help me. No refunds for my uhaul or offers to do anything. Just do yourself a favor and find a better location, one with perhaps more than a single elevator, and more helpful staff.
