This place is gorgeous! It was redone less than 10 years ago and is in wonderful shape, the front desk area is absolutely beautiful, and the personnel are rightly proud of how great this place looks. Security cameras, it looked like they had all kinds of good stuff to keep your wine or stored goods in top condition and safe; we rented a U-Haul from them and they were very nice both on pick-up and drop-off.

Jason was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great security and very clean. Was thrown off guard when I was told I was required to pay an additional $13 a month for insurance. So when I came in wanting a $50-$60 a month unit it is actually $65-$75 and that might make me look elsewhere down the road. Im also not a fan of the hours. No access after 6 pm is pretty rough. Especially with summer coming.Aside from the 2 things everything else is cool. I definitely recommend

Friendly customer service, but a few things made them less than ideal.I had my unit for a year and they raised the rent twice, which I find unreasonable for a storage facility. No extra services were added with the extra cost.Important email wasnt able to get through to me on multiple occasions. They were unable to solve the issue, and I had to create a secondary email address just to get email from them.When I moved out, I didnt realize that you had to give a months notice, and they were completely unwilling to work with me. So, I ended up having to pay for a month of storage in which the unit sat empty.Update: The below reply they gave to this review is inaccurate. No discussion was had and none of the issues were resolved. Im lowering my rating to reflect this.

Great customer service and willing to be flexible with my schedule. Love the location too! Also, I got to keep the introductory price for 3 months! Jason was super friendly and helpful. Didnt even cringe when I showed up 30 minutes before closing time.

I looked all over for different storage options. This one was different. Not corporate, but personal and tne guy who helped me was EXTREMELY nice, professional and really treated me well. Everything taken care of over the phone. Size was perfect on their recommendations. Very fair pricing. Nice facility. Love the key pad and easy access. Close to freeway. ABC123. Never knew I could get excited about a storage unit until now!

Moved out of Rose City Self Storage today, but only because Im downsizing to a smaller unit closer to my new home. Had a great experience. They often offer temporary discount rates through their site. Customer service was friendly and helpful, easy set-up over the phone. My only complaint is that their access hours are fairly limited compared to other storage rentals, with not only the office but access to units closing at 6pm. This is a limitation that seems to be primarily driven by the building and location, under the Morrison Bridge. It would be unsafe to leave the car bay doors open at night without staff on-site. When I first started renting, it was a convenient location for a good price, so theres trade-offs. The facility itself is very clean and secure.

Staff is great place is very clean only problem I have is the hours I think it is crazy that they close at 6pm so if you get off work at 5 it limits you access to your unit to the point I have to find a different place to store my belongings

This place is GREAT! All the staff are super friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The facility and units are CLEAN and climate controlled. Facility is secure with unique access codes. Rates are competitive with other storage units. Easy online payment. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for short or long term storage.

Just a great place for storage. Super well run. Perfectly Temperature controlled, dry, secure and safe. I don’t know what more you could ask of a storage facility, especially in the city. The only negative would be the area where it is located. Not the best, but they do an excellent job managing that with a full time staff. The store portion is clean and very well organized and they are always great to deal with. I absolutely recommend Rose City for your storage needs.

Solid business. I feel my belongings are safe, hallways are monitored, the premise is clean and dry, there is usually piped in music, though genre could be rotated. Hrs are just a little short, and there are only 4 parking bays and occasionally a spot across the street, so best if you live close enough to return easily in case parking is full. Seems a bit high priced but worth the cost for me.

We recently made three cross country shipments of belongings from two homes and a 250-bottle wine refrigerator. Rose City Self Storage (111SE Belmont St., Portland OR 97214) has been fantastic in making these moves go so smoothly. No stress! Leya and Adam receptioned our belongings since we were not in the city and made sure that all was safely placed in clean, well lit, and climate controlled storage areas… The price was right and the location central with easy access. We just want to express our appreciation to them both and especially Leya who had lots of patience in explaining the system. She also arranged for the storage of our car most likely above and beyond the call of duty. We thank Rose City for their excellent service and highly recommend this facility.

My experience at Rose City Self Storage was very pleasant. The staff was very courteous, the facility very clean, and the loading area very user-friendly. Initially i was given a storage room on an upper floor but there was a mothball smell nearby. As i was temporarily storing many of my clothes in the room, i asked if i could move to a different space and was accommodated with no issues. You may find the cost slightly more than some other storage facilities, but the value you get is well worth it. Thank you for your excellent service!

This is the best storage in PDX!

I kept many personal items, including wines, furniture and photographs, at Rose City Self Storage for a little over two years. I found everyone who works there always to be highly professional, courteous and accommodating. The facility is excellent, well maintained, clean and secure. I wouldn’t hesitate to store anything at this facility.

We were moving in from out of state and had chosen a place a few blocks away and didnt arrive until evening. We discovered the place had no security, temperature control, or cameras to guard our things. When asked about break ins the manager said You can never be 100% so dont leave valuables that cant be replaced. Ha! Too bad everything we were putting in was art and not replaceable. When I asked if there was another place close by they suggested Rose City. I got there right before they closed by the skin of my teeth. The lady there was so sweet and nice. When explaining that I needed to unload a moving van and have a place ready by the next morning she didnt hesitate to help us out. She even gave us a little discount and made sure to answer all our questions, give us a tour etc. She stayed an hour after the time just to make sure we felt right at home. I couldnt have been more happy. To top it off the place as wine tastings! Cant get much better than that. I told everyone about the experience and how lucky I felt to have found them. Amazing. First I had gotten a different storage unit at a place down the road. I had spent a whole day loading up a truck with my furniture from my 3 story walk up (no elevator) only to show up at my storage unit three hours before they closed only to see a sign that said we closed early for the day. I called Rose City and they said well we have 10 minutes until we close but I wouldnt mind staying behind to help you guys out. I am so grateful for there help, It saved me all that trouble from having to move all my stuff back up to my apartment. LOVE THEM. Great rates, super friendly staff and extremely secure.

The facilities are easy to get to and have easy access. Its always clean and the controlled temperature is wonderful. You know that your items are safe. Also, everyone is very friendly and supportive. There is plenty of space, convenient carts to help you and restrooms.

We rented a unit here for a business tour we had for a few years and thought the experience overall was great. The units are well taken care of, the staff was easy to work with, and I appreciated that they worked with me since I was in another city coordinating the tour.

Nicest mini storage Ive ever used (and Ive used several for short-term storage). Staff was super-friendly too. Only two complaints I have are limited parking/bays and the elevator bottleneck. On a busy day, youll have trouble finding and empty bay, and then everyone has to use one of two elevators so it can be a little slow coming and going.

Very friendly, went out of way to help and assist me. Note, surrounded by Portland homeless problem. Business area is ok, but be aware of nearby surroundings late at night.
