I recommend anyone who has issues with their car to go to Aamco on High St in Stowe! They do a fantastic job, get things done quickly & they are up front about everything. They will also work with you when it comes to paying! I will definitely be going there for all of my cars needs from now on.

Been coming here for a little over a year and the customer service here at AAMCO is unmatched. They get you in and out in a timely manner and actually go by their schedule . 5 out of 5 for me . I usually drive about 40 minutes to this location but it’s worth the drive . Joe and his team knock it out the park every single time . Highly recommended for all you mechanical needs

I came in for an oil change and explained I had a small issue with a slight vibration while driving above a certain speed. Joe and Ken found it amusing in how I explained my issue, and immediately took an interest in to what the cause may be. Needless to say, the issue was resolved and also explained very professionally by Joe. I was so grateful for this experience and the friendliness of the staff. I will continue to come to this shop and continue recommending their services to my friends and family. I took my car in for a state inspection, Ken at the front desk was very helpful and took a personal interest in my vehicle, making sure it was taken care of. New engine mounts and some suspension work improved the feel of my car dramatically. I was so used to how it drove before that I didnt realize how much it could improve. I had an old, hard to find manual gearbox ready to install in my antique car which I am restoring. Noticed some leakage along the seams and took it to Aamco to have it looked at. Joe and Paul did an excellent job of listening to me and taking the time to inspect, clean and reseal the gearbox ensuring no leaks when installed. I can only appreciate the excellent service, professionalism, and expertise displayed to me and I am now confident I wont have an oily mess once the gearbox is installed. Nice work Aamco!

This is a very reasonably priced quality and upfront place that doesn’t wanna rob you and wants your vehicle last awhile. When I first did business with them they helped me get after pep boys for wrecking my oil filter cap and get a refund from them and they also saved me from wearing my battery out to. They also don’t look for ways to make money off you like Jiffy Lube. I always tell people for car repairs to go to AAMCO in Pottstown. They always have your back. The only negative their busy so call ahead if you need your vehicle done by a certain time but they do a good job at getting things done on time. Schedule online don’t wait for the last minute.

Discontinued going to AAMCO Phoenxville after entire crew was let go last year. So booked an appointment for yearly inspection in the further away Pottstown location.Parking is shared by multiple businesses, so finding a spot is tricky.Plenty of double bays to get work done and that’s a huge advantage.This business runs efficiently and precisely. I appreciated the organized hustle. Ken at the front desk is the hub of this place. A highly organized and efficient operator. Impressive. Also friendly and helpful.Joe is the owner. Appears gregarious, but unfriendly and dismissive. However, that’s irrelevant. Ken at front desk overcomes all that.The work they performed made a huge difference in how my vehicle felt afterwards.Minus one star as they had to drive my vehicle to another location to get inspection stickers. Although I was informed that this would not be the case going forward.All in all, a good business and experience.

Brought my car in for fluid and visual check.. helpful, friendly, courteous,being a woman, I super appreciated not being patronized. Ive used this Aamco recently, multiple times, for expensive repairs. I was blessed to have most of the cost covered by my warranty. Joe dealt with the warranty company for me, and there wasnt any shady things thrown at me, like from past experiences, w/other mechanics. On one occasion, someone left a big dirt spot on my floor. I showed Joe, and he got my truck detailed! Was even better looking then the day I drove it from the dealer! Honest, quality work, and about (if not a little lower) standard pricing.

First off let me say I was a loyal Aamco customer for about 3 years until this incident. Aamco had my vehicle for about two weeks. I took my vehicle there because I believed something was wrong with my alternator. About 4-5 days later they let me know it’s not the alternator but there’s a draw in my line somewhere and they needed to find it. So I ruled the alternator out. Only come to find out days later that there’s no draw in my line but my alternator was bad, which is what I originally took my vehicle there for. So I basically paid them $200 when that’s what I originally told them was wrong with my vehicle. The icing on the cake is after I paid them the $200 for them to tell me it was my alternator I decided to take my car to another place for a 2nd opinion it’s actually just a bad battery in my car. Battery has since been replaced and my car has been running just fine ever since.

Always great service and low wait times when i come for an oil change. Also amazing service when i need more than that. Only take my cars here.

Nice quick service and interesting guys. Were complimentary about my truck and thats always nice too. Didnt charge me for extra quarts of oil even though my Groupon said they would, super cheap oil change and done in and out in 45 mins. Make sure Nav sends you to the front door, not the back, otherwise youll be in the yard and have to phone them like I did.

I had a fabulous experience at the Aamco in Pottstown today. I called this morning for an oil change and Ken was very helpful in setting me up for the same day as well as accepting my groupon without prejudice. The staff as pleasant, on time and didnt pressure me for additional services-which is so often the case elsewhere-particularlywhen a groupon is involved. I will return for other services in the future.

The guy kept us well informed throughout the process of dealing with our warranty company.

Just moved to the area and I decided to get my wifes oil changed here. A storm blew through and knocked out the power. My wifes car was stuck on the lift, and we had no idea how long the power would be out. So the owner Joe Kincade had Lift pick us up and take us home. The next morning,he had them pick us up at home, and brought us back to pick up our car.Great service,and they treated us like Kings! Thanks again Joe!

Would have been an excellent experience but with everything going on I felt highly uncomfortable, no one had masks on and it must have been a known thing other customers came in without a mask 😷

Chris an the owner are straight forward an they answer any questions you may have, one of his technicians saw me this morning before they were opening since I got there early, he was very friendly guy don’t know who he was...... owner referred me to lemon Law since I have an ongoing issue with my car who is also cool..... they did my brakes an had No problems ordering original equipment manufacture parts for my car unlike some shops, AAMCO also drained my old transmission fluid an put back new fluid....will I go back?? yes indeed :)

If there were 10 stars available I would give just that. Was an hour late to my appointment due to my issues for my appointment and they got me in and done in 2 hours. Explained everything in detail and showed me bad car parts that were removed and replaced. Trustworthy and the price was totally in budget. I wish I remembered the gentlemens name that was such great help but kudos to you sir. Highly recommended.

Friendly atmosphere. Very detailed in answering all my questions. Did the job withinthe time frame they gave and held the price they quoted. As a weekend mechanicI probably had a leg up on those who see a car as only a driving machine, but I was impressedwith the easy to understand explanations given of what they were going to do and why, good for even those who are not mechanically inclined. Overall, the service wasa pleasant experience and priced fairly!

It is a great thing to find an honest garage you can trust. Been going here for around a year now and it has always been a great experience. Not sure about these other reviews, I feel just the opposite, have never been scammed into paying for more work needed.

There should be an option for 0 stars. I would NEVER recommend this AAMCO to anyone! My experience here has been nothing but a complete waste of time and money! Had my transmission rebuilt this past December, and Im still experiencing the same original problems even after buying a different computer! My advice to anyone thinking about getting work done here is to look at their reviews! Straight up SHADY!

I had transmission problems on my 2007 Mazda6, and had gone to 2 repair garages, but neither one fixed my car or explained what had to be done. Chris was excellent and worked with me and my insurance company to get the repairs completed in a professional manner. One of the other auto garages, wanted to charge me over $ 3100.00 dollars to repair my transmission, when the repair was covered by insurance. AAMCO is the best, and I will take my car back there again, and again.

The Pottstown PA facility is clean and professional. Chris Holloways explanation of service was clear and concise. There are no last minute surprises like other repair shops. When my service engine light came on they checked it for free! They charged me fairly and worked with me within my budget constraints, Im happy that I found a auto repair shop I can call home.

I took my car there for rear brakes. Their price was $185, whereas the Toyota and Honda dealers quoted $300 plus. It took one hour. I was pleased with the timeliness, the price, the service, and the professionalism of Chris and Mike. Chris also offered to give me a free air conditioning check after I told him my compressor kicks on and off more than it should. He explained to me about a.c. leaks, and I will take my car to him to do that when we can. He even rotated my tires for me for free since the rear wheels had to be removed anyway. He told me I am going to need front brakes, but he did not pressure me to get them today. Over all, I would recommend this place to everyone.

Work preformed efficiently and on time at a great price

This place has caused the last month of my life to be a nightmare. Instead of standing by their word they are asking for more money. This is after I paid them a lot of money. They have to date taken my transmission out at least twice now leaving me with little to no transportation for the last month. Not offering to cover any of that expense. They even told they are open but sometimes have no trans techs to work. Why be open? Hear my warning. The worst experience ever.

I took my car for an oil change last week. After the oil change was done I noticed the oil indicator to show the same level as it was before the oil change. I showed the same to Chris the employee who was handling my car. He told me that the indicator sensor might not be working and I should get that checked. I was very sure that the indicator was working since I noticed it change few weeks before I took the car for oil change. Now within few days I see that it has even dropped further.I am sure that they did not change the oil in my car. As some other reviewers have noticed it as well, these people are dishonest and try to rip off their customers. Save yourself some trouble and don;t take your car to them.
