Shopping at Walmart isnt what it used to be some years back. Lines are long and its not easy to just get in and out for a quick trip. Their curbside pickup also can be time-consuming as the folks working this area have to schlep merchandise from the warehouse to the cars.

This Walmart was confusing. Trying to figure out where items were located in the store was frustrating.... and it was so crowded. The other customers were walking around like zombies. It was hard to know if it was just the way things are OR if they were having a much trouble finding things as we were having... it wasnt an enjoyable experience. I will give it another try at some point. Hopefully it will be better... well see.

2 stars bc someone came by and opened another register. Lines were incredibly long for the 4 open registers and all the self check outs as well. It took 20mins of standing in the like before someone else came to open a register. I was wondering where the managers were if they dont have enough cashiers. Several times a day they have 0 cashiers and its only self check out. When you order for pickup not all your items are correct. Then when they make a mistake you have to be the one to go to customer service and get it fixed. Its unbelievable.

The lines are long. You have to find employee after employee for the keys to the alcohol cabinet. The sale prices never ring up correctly. The managers and the pharmacy staff are VERY rude, and inconsiderate.

Following a sports injury, needed to use one of the electric scooters to get around the store. Went through 4 of them, all with dead batteries before I just gave up and left. They are scattered all over the parking lot with no charge. What a disgrace. Be better Walmart.

I returned my hallowen dress coz i dont need it. The Manager did not take back the dress because is not the same in the picture. I was in a hurry thought its different style. She think i put different dress. I said thats the pair with the hat hang it so i grab it. Why did not look in the cctv when i buy it? Also the old skinny lady watcher in the corner she is rude!! I explained to her what happened she keep walking long distance think i will eat her. She stressed me out!!! Bad day at wallmart😈

Great selection of produce, most Walmarts dont care produce. The Loway location does.

Love the large store and the inventory. I always find what I need. Love the huge parking lot. Hate the fact that there are never enough cashiers. The wait times to just scan and bag your own items makes me not want to return. At times I just leave the store and dont buy anything. Id rather pay more at any other store than to wait in the long lines.

Terrible experience. Had to literally wait for 25-30 mins for help at jewelry/watch section. Particularly not happy because I asked for help and no body cared, a Walmart agent showed up and told me to walk to customer service and tell me you need help. Seriously!???! I usually dont give anyone a 1/5 star but I had to as my mom had to wait along. She came back home with bad knee pain.

Every time Im in this Walmart I get mistreated by elderly staff who overly judge me and my wife, I can only assume for having tattoos and my wife has pink hair, or for the ever constant crime of simply belonging to the millennial age group. Constantly canvassed for stealing that Im not doing, being subjected to arbitrary extra steps for buying alcohol that I am not seeing other customers subjected to, for the record my wife is 29 and I am 31. And generally receiving an attitude for simply existing in the store. Dont shop at this horrendous company;there are plenty of other grocery stores in the area that treat me and my wife with respect.

The store was pretty clean. Its well stocked. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star rating is because there was a sewer type smell back back by the juices, dairy, etc area. As well as an area along the side. Im not referring to the fish smell, as there was fish there. Other than that, it was not too bad of a visit.

I do uber eats and pick up many times from here and the staff is always professional. They have a great selection of food and other items kind of a one stop shop. I go fishing alot any they help me save tones of money over places like big 5 and bass pro.

The overall appearance of the store is nice and clean. Unfortunately, the store layout moves around A LOT. It is frustrating when you are a creature of habit. Dont expect to get any alcohol. The associates avoid the assistance is needed at the liquor counter alarm like the plague and will even walk right past you to avoid addressing you. Thankfully, Dons liquor is across the street. Also, they need a food place inside. The McDonalds closed down. It would be nice to see a Jamba Juice of Jersey Mikes. Something not normal to regular Walmart food places.

Tried the app for store pick up. Easy to order easy to check in when on the way. Unable to select the parking spot and car color upon arrival. Maybe app glitch? I called and let them know I arrived. App finally showed I was in my parking spot. Waited 30minutes and called again. Guy came out about 5 minutes later. It would have been faster if I went in, located and payed but thanks for the pickup option for those that cant do so.. Hopefully things go smoother for others and in the future.

With only one register working you would think the staff at this location especially the management, would be trying their best to accommodate their customers and notifying them of the extreme delay as they enter the store. However the staff continues to stock shelves and ignore all the customers that are frustrated and confused as a deadline for their purchases I left without purchasing anything and I will no longer shop at the store although I have been a customer for over 10 years. The management needs to really get together this is completely unacceptable

Years ago (sep 15, 2021) lived a man, he called this walmart for assistance. He held on for so long and when they finally picked up they put him on hold (45 minutes) and he died. Some say, if you listen real hard and put his phone up to your ear, you can still here the elevator music they made the poor man listen to. And thank you so much, sincerely, for canceling my order. Im really relieved I had so much help. Just a little stressful listening to Hold for an hour

Very disappointed with their inefficient stocking of their shelves. I drove 20 miles to buy my caffeine free coke zero, only to be let down.

The store is super large. Tons of stuff. Some shelf were pretty empty. Only one cashier register open. The line was super long. I watch a CSM walk by a number of times and did nothing. Low prices with no one working the register so you wait 30 mins to check out... whats more important?? Happy customers or low labor costs?? Bet Happy customers spend more!!!

This has been a great Wall-Mart. My family has been frequently going there. Sure it gets busy, but the services offered there as well as the people who work there are great.

Great place to get all your grocery, indoor/outdoor, last minute craft supply and quick clothing item and more. It is also pretty clean compared to a few other Walmarts around and they generally have good parking as well.

I pressed the help buzzer 3 times for assistance in the liquor section and 15 minutes later asked a pass by employee if someone can assist which the staff member went to the back to get assistance and 10 minutes later no one. I gave up and went else where. Not all people have customer service skills but one of the many reasons I try to avoid shopping at Walmart. This one was on my way back home and figured to get a few things I needed.

The Greeters were the only friendly folks there! Why has the simple friendly service dissipated over the years when the employees, who are the face of the company, were still employed as essential workers and given promises of increased minimum wages, but are not responding with continued service, let alone better service? It proves the money in the form of wages is not necessarily a high motivator. Contrary to Costco employees who are even more busy. Where are the Trainers & Managers?

Another great Walmart. Its location is great. Plenty of parking. The store is always stocked. And you cant beat the prices.

I haven’t been inside this store since pre covid times. But I use curbside pickup once a week for everything. The folks working the area are doing an excellent job and should be very proud of this. Amongst all the stress and sometimes chaos that occurs with their inventory and ordering management system they keep cool and are always friendly and courteous.Please make sure to leave a comment with the employees name in the survey email!!! It helps with bonuses etc.Thanks everyone, for a family with kidney transplant where going in to the store is more risky you all have been a godsend. Peace

Well stocked Walmart. Clean in appearance. Baby formula is locked up and Walmart provides a call button to notify an employee to assist you but in my experience, employees have taken a considerably long time to arrive. This has been my experience in every Walmart, no specifically this location.

Clean, not crowded, great shopping experience

Has EVERYTHING. Supplies, tools, clothes, party supplies, make up and tons of Food, ( fresh and baked). Worth the trip to Poway.

It was Walmart, memorize the isles of one and you know them all. Peanut butter here is in the Coffee isle just like at home.Surprisingly though, the self checkout is slower then the ones at home.Store was clean and bright.

The produce manager of this Walmart deserves kudos as he has the best produce in town, bar none!

Havent been there in a long while just happened to need a few things when visiting a friends house and the organization of items on the shelves was messy. Didnt really get greeted either by any folks on the salesfloor. However I didnt have to wait to check out very long because I was able to check out on the cosmetics dept. with no wait. The front check out lines were too long. But I did find everything I was looking for.

This Walmart is clean and has friendly staff. I took away two stars for the following reasons. This Walmart encourages customers to use self checkout. The people doing personal shopping like insta cart and other services, have priority on the regular check out lines. The regular check out always has long lines. Regular checkout lines don’t open when the store opens. Sometimes you have to shop at different times of the day for stock availability. Before the pandemic, this place was 5 stars.

It was surprisingly neat. Friendly staff who wore their masks. I was in and out in 20 mins. They had items I needed.

Wal Mart drives me crazy. They Are always out of stuff and they are stocking shelves during prime business time lines are long.

One advantage Walmart had vs online shopping on amazon is in person shopping. Getting to shop, compare, get a feel for products and read packages. But not when it’s locked up behind glass. They have a button that is supposed to call a employee for help but no one came over. Had to flag someone down for them to call someone with a key. Took 10 mins. Then employee just stares at you while you look at item and take your time making a decision. Now there is no advantage between shopping on amazon vs Walmart. Watch an item on computer screen or behind glass. I know Walmart does this as a theft deterrent but Walmart is over doing it. Just look at the pictures. Each picture is a different aisle.

Always clean and welcoming even if you don’t want to buy stuff. Lately, the staff seems a bit down (even before the pandemic). Now they close way early (they even had their windows boarded up). Good place to check prices and better place to spend a paycheck then amazon.

Be prepared to wait at LEAST 45 Min. In line waiting to check out. I REFUSE to self-check out because its cheaper than hiring a human being wages and help the economy! Please Dont use self check out. It could mean jobs for people.

The Walmart in Poway has become dingy and depressing. I hate self check out! Its great for a few items but a full grocery cart? Nope. I have started shopping at Sprouts, Aldi and Target

Have you ever pondered the question: Arent all Walmart stores identical in terms of the products they carry?I assumed they were and I was wrong.For example, i recently visited the Poway store and found (and purchased) an OBDll Code Reader for my car. I felt lucky because a manager at the Kearny Mesa store told me that OBDll code readers are only available at Walmart.com.l

Theperson in the electronics was really helpful, you dont see that often in a Walmart.

While the selection on items it’s pretty cool def check out is such an inconvenience. Most lines take a good 30 mins. Bring the cashiers back! Such an inconvenience that I would rather just go to target since the prices are very similar but with better customer service.

Horrible service here was calling about electronics I was warranting and no one would answer the phone not even the deil not even customers service called for about 20 mins before decided to go in person manger was no help this store really is pathetic trash

Always super busy but full stocked which is nice. The lines for check out are usually pretty long so we go through self checkout which is equally as long but moves pretty quickly. Employees clean the check stands after each person leaves self checkout and they are always friendly and helpful. There is just always way too many people in the store for me (always was even pre-covid)

This is best place to buy all essentials stuff such as groceries, bathing stuff, and much more.

They lock everything up and when you push the button for help still takes 30 minutes for someone to show up. Theres alot off noise pollution coming from their shopping carts. If your to cheap to get new shopping carts at least replace the wheels.

I went to this store late at night and needed to return and item immediately after noticing I had been overcharged based on the price the item was advertised for and unfortunately I had to go to the customer service area to return it, right after I paid.The two employees that were working in the customer service area finished assisting two clients that were in line in front of me and I was the last customer in line but instead of finish assisting the customers in line, which was only me left, they decided to start chatting about personal stuff and to cleaning preparing for closing, leaving me there waiting, until I asked if they were still open, they responded “yes but we are cleaning”, I asked if they could finish taking care of the customers first and start cleaning after and requested to speak with a manager. The manager in turn didn’t seem to care much about customer service either, I reported to her that I was overcharged and the they needed to make sure they were charging the prices as advertised. Also I don’t know how they choose which clients to assist and which clients to leave waiting, but they should treat all clients equally.

Great place. Great deals. Poor website updates. I drove all the way here to find a product on sale in store only and after verifying the availability on the website only to be told they had long cleared it off.

Good price. The company sells what we want and need. Things are fresh. Cheap price. Close area.

Overcharged from what signs say on several item. As it is Poway walmart prices are higher then san marcos and Escondido. Cashier wouldnt do price check. Cashier told my 10 yr old grandchild to put my purchase in cart so people behind me didnt have to wait. Was rude and unprofessional.

They dont have a lot of stock and inventory. There are out of many things that I look for and its not because of the pandemic. This has been going on since 2017. Theyre good for cleaning supplies and bedding and small kitchen appliances. As far as clothing goes, they never have my size which is average. They either have pants for really small people or very large people.

I was in a hurry. I didnt have much time to look. I couldnt find what I was looking for. It is a big place.

It was great experience my best friend Marissa helped me out today at register 6 dont give her a hard time shes working the best she can every day

The rating Im giving only applies on the curbside grocery service. I have tried this service using their app twice and both times, I only had to wait for 5 minutes from the time I parked to the time they finished loading the groceries in the trunk of my car. So far, everything I ordered are satisfactory. The produce are fresh, the meat have at least 4 to 5 days shelf life. They had to substitute a couple of items but prior to finalizing the order, they send you a text to get your approval for any substitutions. Both times, the employees were efficient and professional. They were of course wearing masks.

We were in town for vacation. This store was well laid out with great service and plenty of open lines.

The usual Walmart stuff. Very clean store. Usually very well organized. The staff is helpful. The only downfall I would say this store has is being well stocked. Although they stock and sell a wide variety of items the shelves can be empty some times.

Its usually got what you need. The only issue I have is that there are times the shelves arent stocked. Thats usually a Saturday because Thursday & Friday shoppers wipe them out. They do try, but Ive not seen a lot of success. Sometimes, what you need is not on the shelf yet, but ask the friendly store associate and theyll check for you. I did find Gluten Free Oreo Cookies and I will be back for more!!

Why do they bother having a phone with extensions for various depts and customer service IF They don’t answer.I have been calling several times a day for the past 3 days and no one ever answers.

Nice store, good selections.

The entire store is filthy and in a complete state of disarray. The employees are tired and disheveled and 70% of the shelves are empty. When you try to ask for help, the workers avoid eye contact and hurry away, desperate to escape a conversation with a customer. This is possibly the filthiest walmart I have ever been to, and Ive been to Florida.

Its like any other Walmart. Nothing special. They have all the typical stuff items and all the standard grocery items. The employees are.. well, what youd expect for what Walmart is currently paying its staff. The line at the Services desk moves slow and at times wraps out past the optometry department. It took me 3 separate tries to accomplish my task there. The kid with pink hair was the best. When he could not help me, he confessed that he really just wants to help people & feels bad when he cant.

Im a lover of walmart for their variety and low prices.This particular walmart in the cosmetic and pharmacy department is pure chaos. The way the isles are set up is confusing and I could not even find a simple common item I needed to purchase.

To be honest, I am not comfortable going into this particular location. I feel that this store targets black shoppers and Im either followed or asked if I need help while looking at donuts. Checking out is another story. Its very embarrassing and ridiculous.

The check out lines ruin the whole Walmart experience at this store. Lots of great stuff like all Walmarts but the layout and lines and disgruntled customers I saw in line complaining about the same thing is going to keep me from coming back
