Sent rifle for repair in March of 2019 and was told 3 to 4 months to complete. It is now November and I do not have rifle or any idea if Ill ever see my rifle again. He does not return calls or respond to letters. Have filed complaints with BBB and Arizona Attorney Generals Office. Next step legal action. He was extremely helpful before he received rifle.

Danny runs a small shop with long lead times. That said, the work he has done for me has been stellar in quality and fairly priced. Quality rebores and great machine work. Dont expect fast, but you will get top quality work.

Google needs to add the option for negative stars, so I can properly review this business. He has had my fathers gun for almost 2 years now. Will not call him back and when my father gets a hold of the owner (Dan Pedersen) he lies and says it is almost completed and will be shipped soon. That has happened at least 3 times......come on! This is your business, run it like you want a good reputation. We will never send our guns to be worked on again to this shop. I suggest you dont either!Wanted to give an update. ..after contacting the District Attorneys office, the BBB and sending a certified letter, my dad finally got his gun parts back, not all his parts of course that would be too easy. So now we need to send another certified letter to get the rest. This is a joke, and not the funny kind! It is nice that he sent the receiver back although the proof is in the pudding. In 22 months, (roughly), nothing was done on the parts he had, proving that all the times he said he was almost done he was truly just lying. So if you work hard for your money, as I do, I would find another gunsmith, just like what we have to do now. (By the way, Google the owners name, we are not the only ones that has had these problems with this shop.) Beware, you have been warned!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Dan Pedersen had me fooled as a caring person. The Work on one of my rifles was NOT completed as it was suppose to be after a lengthy wait! The rifle arrived damaged & missing parts! Returned nearly a year later when promised with in a month to be completed. Dan is still holding an antique treasured family Sako rifle that was sent in to only be re-blued! Dan has now had it over a year and will NOT return ANY of my phone calls. His voice mail is quite annoying & lengthy! I had to contact the Prescott Police Dept. who informed me that I was the 6th caller in one month to file a complaint of similar nature. ALL I want is my other Rifle returned, DONE or NOT. On the first rifle, I had to file a UPS claim and Dan will NOT even reply to UPS to get me reimbursed for my damages & losses! I even Paid Dan for the work when I probably shouldnt have! NEVER AGAIN will I deal with Classic Barrel & Gunworks! I will next be contacting the ATF if my rifle is NOT returned in the next week. I lost a lot of money dealing here! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in YOU DAN, You are NOT the Kind person you had mislead me to believe you are! Now I know that ALL of the excuses you had given me, were LIES! GO TO CHURCH Danny Boy & Repent!! After reviewing another VICTIMs review, Deja vu, I am going through the EXACT same thing. The BBB & Authorities NEED to MAKE these DEADBEAT businesses be ACCOUNTABLE and be PENALIZED! I work hard for my money while business as such take your hard earned money without fulfilling what was paid for! Doing this to ANYONE is bad, but Dan KNOWS what I do for a living and apparently he has NO problems scamming ANYONE, no matter who they are! SAD, SAD & SAD!
