What an amazing place. This is not some trendy tourist trap, but a great store with a huge selection of books from many authors other than Lovecraft, on a wide variety of subjects. There’s a large selection of cool shirts, original artwork, and collectibles. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great place for Lovecraft fans.

This store was freaking awesome and is definitely worth at least a stop (or multiple). I love horror and weird fiction and this stop has everything you would want to find. Despina was awesome and super fun to nerd out over Weird fiction with!

This is an awesome store! Not only is it Lovecraftian, it’s also dedicated to sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and weird fiction. They are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays, but if you call they will be willing to work with you and may open up for a bit. It’s a great place.

Its a small store but it has all the essentials, and helpful info about your Lovecraft Pilgrimage. Also, seeing a mask policy still in full effect was nice to see.

Sadly, I havent been able to visit the physical store but I have ordered online and I highly recommend them. Friendly and fast and a great place for the fan of HPL.

Awesome piece of the Providence experience. Ive lived in Rhode island for my childhood and most of my adult life, and I can think of few places as intriguing as the providence arcade. Along with purportedly being one of the oldest indoor malls in the world, it houses unique charm and great atmosphere- of which Lovecraft Arts and Sciences is simply the tinsel on the tree! This novelty, gift and book store is located directly across from a great cafe, and from my experience, its employees are positively steeped in knowledge of Providences rich literary history, H.P. Lovecraft and the occult! I would recommend that any fan of cosmic horror make a pilgrimage to this store if they find themselves in the northeast!

Bit cramped of a space, and I was honestly thinking it was more than just a book store. However they have great selections of books ranging from Poe to modern writers of weird, or estranged tales

My birthday gift to my fiancé this year was a trip to Providence and a tour of ask things lovecraft. So naturally I decided to make this the last stop before we flew back. I SHOULD HAVE MADE IT OUR FIRST STOP.The guy there was amazing and obviously a fan himself, which is always a bonus when you go to places like this.The store was gorgeous, I wish I could get these guys to decorate my house.And it wont break your bank buying stuff from them. Which usually niche stores like that will.

A must visit place for fans of HP Lovecraft and his work. On our recent visit to HPs grave we decided to stop for our first visit. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Many items including books, shirts, postcards, magnets, artwork, etc. We could have easily spent hours here just looking and talking in this small shop. Parking in the area was a bit difficult but manageable after a few times around the block. Excellent shop and 5 stars are not enough!

My favorite little shop in Providence. The staff are always incredibly knowledgeable about the literature in the store, and very friendly and easy to talk to.

Great little Lovecraft shop in the middle of a bunch of salons and other normal businesses. Exceptionally friendly shopkeeper and incredibly book and art selections. Definitely a go to if you are in or around Providence!

As a Lovecraft fan, this place was on my list of places I wanted to go to. Im glad I did. They have much more of a selection of weird fiction than youre going to find in your average bookstore. They also have t-shirts, pins, and other things like that. I got a postcard for my friend and an Elder Sign pendant! I recommend going if you are into Lovecraft or weird fiction in general!

One of my favorite must visit spots in Providence. Whenever I swing by from Texas it’s a huge treat, if you are a big Lovecraft fan it’s highly recommended. The store is cozy but it has a really good collection of Lovecraftian literature and artifacts and the staff is very helpful and lovely.

This is the best collection of Lovecraftian arcanam that I know of anywhere in the U.S. or Europe.

Everything about my experience here was great. The shopkeeper was super nice and helped me with some stuff, and all of the merchandise was great, I wish I could have brought home more. The shop itself is cool, with the perfect kind of aesthetic you would want from a place focused on Lovecraft. Overall wonderful place and Im already planning on driving up to R.I just to go back

This place is awesome. There is a great variety of books and other cool lovecraftian knickknacks available. Special shout out to Loren who is very friendly and has an extensive knowledge of everything from Lovecraft to Warhammer 40k. 10/10 would go back.

A must for fans of Lovecraft! (Of course)They have a wide array of books and other “mementos” dedicated to Lovecraft as well as a large selection of other materials as well. I picked up two short story anthologies by J.S. Le Fanu (Irish gothic and horror writer from the mid 1800’s) that I had not been able to find in any normal book stores.It was worth the trip to Providence!

There are free hiking maps, which interested people through the college quarter - including connections to Lovecraft itself and its stories, absolutely recommendable! - to lead. Even otherwise you should find everything that has anything to do with the work of the author. The very dedicated and sympathetic staff will gladly help with any cthuloiden question.

Super cool place. It is small but with very select merchandise, all related to HPL (obviously). What I liked is the variety of books and authors, ranging from the most unknown to the great famous. Lots of memorabilia too ... magnets, paintings, t-shirts. With original and well-chosen designs. The girl who attends very friendly.
