Just checked out this awesome joint and had the best time! The bar/lounge area is amazing and perfect chill place to grab a drink or a book! Evan took amazing care of us and I cant say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Definitely check out if you are in the area, they have amazing local beers to try as well! A small, lovely store, where it seems like each book available for purchase is there very intentionally. If youre looking for something new and interesting (like an atlas of cities most impacted by climate change), or have an unhealthy obsession with writers that deal in emotional devastation (my reason for coming in), youll find it here. If youre looking for anything else, come here anyways, because you may find it.The attached bar is also lovely, and the drinks are delicious!

Great inexpensive drinks, no cheap liquors like certain vodka brands that I will not name and only $10.00 bucks . Nice atmosphere. I thought this might just be a place just for hipsters (which is why I never came before)! but there were other GenXrs here also

Ive only been able visit the outdoor set up during covid but I love stopping by and picking out books for myself and friends here. A thoughtful curated collection of books that has something for everyone. The cocktails are great too!

So so cute! Great, small independent bookstore with a great selection of books. Some local gems I have never heard of as well as national and internationally renowned authors. But not at all like a Books-A-Million-type titles. There is also a bar that serves coffee and beers on tap with an adjacent seating lounge where you can sip on a bevvy with your new read. It is a great place to go solo or on a cute date for a quieter, romantic option. There is an outdoor courtyard with chairs for when the weather is nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Its the most unique and eclectic Ive ever seen! Im SO excited theyre open again after being closed for over a year due to covid. Im visiting asap!

Cool hidden little coffee bar with some adult drinks as well. Tucked away inside a bookstore. The coffee is good, havent tried the alcoholic beverages.

I will say this is a quitely tucked jem. There is alot of fun and wacky games you can play. A ton of books to read with very relaxing music. You can grab a beverage if you so need, and alot of seating for different peeps. Highly recommend

Pretty disappointed. I was excited to try a new place and thats why I was so excited with the Rhode Island food fights coffee. I went to Riff Raff bookstore bar in Providence and am extremely disappointed with the service...lack there of. it is a very cute place I love the vibe and the setup and the idea of having a bookstore in a bar to coffee bar however extremely disappointed with the man behind the counter. I walked in and he was on the phone so I looked around at the books in the bookstore however after 10 min he still didnt acknowledge my existance. When I approached him he realized I had a coffee coupon . He continued to have his conversation never once said hello to me nor did he acknowledge me or say goodbye when I left ...will NOT be back!!! Greet your customers!

Books & booze? Who could ask for more! They carry a really well-curated selection of books. Seriously. It makes me want to spend all of my monies. They also have great seasonal cocktails, and a nice selection of wine, beer, cider, coffee, etc. All of this plus a welcoming and helpful staff. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Alexandra is a kickass bartender. She was super sweet and willing to give recommendations when needed. Her Espresso Martini and Spiked Hot Chocolate (with Wild Turkey) were both DELICIOUS. This place is perfect if you want a good drink and have a conversation with people. Music was low enough to talk but loud enough to enjoy. You can bring board games and enjoy a nice night with friends. Highly recommend!

Speaking from a late night visit perspective. Was quiet and drinks were good- a plus for my hard-of-hearing self. A bit hard to find at night if not paying attention to signs.

I love this place! The bookstore has a solid selection of fiction, nonfiction, literary classics, local authors, and poetry. The staff is friendly and there are regular events from readings to movies, including a monthly book club meeting to get involved with. The coffee shop has bar, bistro, table, and sofa seating available with outlets for your laptop. Free WiFi with decent speeds (never had a problem video chatting), friendly patrons too to go with the staff, and a nice outdoor sitting space. Fully stocked bar with a decent selection of local beers and wines, plus you have the option of spiking your coffee or tea. Dont expect any food other than light snacks, but if you get hungry for a full meal Troop next door has you covered.

The selection of books here is perfect (although I would like to see a little bit more in the children’s/young adult section), and I love the layout and atmosphere of the whole place. The cocktails can be a bit strong, but that’s not really a complaint! One of my favorite places in the city.

I cant speak for the bar, but the bookstore has one of the best selections of books on Providence. As an avid reader, I would be happy going in and taking a chance on something they have on the shelf, even if I hadnt heard it before. To my mind, this is one of the great qualities of independent bookstores.

Ive been to Riffraff for various business related events and personal pleasure since they opened. I love coming here. Parking is across the street in the Plant lot, same as for Troop. Its an adorable place at the back end of the courtyard with signage to guide the way. Once inside, browse the selection of electic authors and genres. Ive grabbed some great sci-fi novels and femenist essays. Find your way over to the bar and grab a craft cocktail, beer, or coffee and settle into a chair, or gather with friends on the picnic-table-like benches and discuss your latest purchase or read. Its a fabulous space!!
