I brought a vehicle in for an inspection sticker… Despite reading some negative reviews about customer service, I found the person I dealt with to be very friendly and more than willing to help me. Do note that for an inspection, the business only accepts cash.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I went in today to simply have my car inspection sticker renewed. Given how small and packed this shop was located, I thought to ask the shop guy/owner to where to position my car so it will be convenient for him. All I got was, Just put the car outside. So... I did. When he was finally ready to check my car, he directed to me my car into the garage. As I backed my car into the garage, the shop guy literally yelled, USE YOUR HEAD, and signaled me to bring my car in the other way. I have to maneuver my car several times to put it in because of how small the place was. I was so aggravated on how rude he was that I reminded him that Im a customer here and you (him) should have the decency to treat me nicer (mind you, those were my exact words; I didnt cuss at him at all), given that Im throwing you money to get a sticker renewed. His response was, OH YOU THE CUSTOMER!? GET OUT! I dont need to baby you! Go find some other place! I dont need you!. NEVER ever... again will I go to this place. And Im not the only one that have experienced this. Apparently, another auto shop owner told me that many customers were very disturbed by how unpleasant this place is. This place DOES NOT DESERVE 4.5 stars.

I just can’t find a negative star for this haunted place. This is a totally “HORRIBLE” place to go. I was trying to do a state inspection at this place, after I stopped by, I asked the owner how long it might take, since I will have to pick up something after that. Then all of the sudden, he stared to yelling at me saying” if you want the service, leave the car. Don’t ask any questions. Otherwise, go away! I don’t give a XXX about how you will review me online!”I mean, dude, I have never been to this place before and I have never seen you either. You are running a business, but are you serious?? Since I was so shocked, I asked more of my friends around, (quincy is a small community you know), he is famous for rip people off and over charge them . Especially for state inspection, since you can not go to anywhere else after his shady garage.I”m so happy that I went away. People all have bad days, but we don’t pass that to others, especially your customers. Who’s going to deal with you ah? loser
Do NOT!! ever go here unless you really want to ruin your feeling and waste your money and time. He is very rude and doesnt know what he is doing. He will overcharge you like youve never been overcharged like that before. I had to wait more than an hour but what Ive got was his inappropriate attitude. Although it is two blocks away from home, I will NEVER ever go here again.
Dont go here!!! Unreasonable chargers!!! I went to D W Auto Services this afternoon for the State Inspection. Before I take the report, the person told me that $45, when I look at the report and I saw there is the fee only $35!!! I asked him why he charged me extra $10, he said because he took off the license plate frame for me(I didnt ask for it!!!). He took my license plate off without my permission and charged me extra $10 !!! Terrible service. Wont go back anymore in my whole life. I will let my families and friends know!!!

Darren has been taking care of our cars for years now. He is honest, reliable and he will tell you if he thinks a repair is not worth the cost. He once stayed until 9:00 pm om a Friday night to fix my car because he knew I needed it for the weekend.
PLEASE do NOT come to this shop for any service work or inspection work if you have never been here before.The owner is indeed a rough individual as previous posters have mentioned. He accused me of not trusting him when I ask to see what the issue was with my car, e.g. a light that was out.He will nickel and dime you for a simple fix. He charged me $65 for a few LEDs that took about a minute to plug in. Then claimed his credit card machine had bad signal so he needed me to pay in cash.Rudeness is not an excuse for directness. The owner definitely takes care of his customers that has been there many times, but thats no excuse to not be professional to new people.If you speak Cantonese, then you might have better luck.But better to go somewhere else all together.
Darrens going to take care of whatever is wrong with your car and hes not going to charge you an arm and a leg. For anything other than an inspection youll want to drop your car off, theres no waiting room.

I usually go to a shop in Braintree but my guy was on vacation so I drop my car off at DW. I needed my brake pads and rotors change. I told him I needed the car back the same day. Price was very reasonable and I got my car back the same day.I have been driving my car for about a month now. No more noise from the pad. I live in Quincy so maybe he will be my future guy/place to go.
I havent been to this place yet. after reading all these bad reviews which i think are true as i am a very experience car repair customer :) man, stay clear of this place. was thinking of doing some work here. no thanks

DO NOT GO!!! Wouldnt inspect my truck because the tint was .4 percent illegal. Easily could have been his machince thats wrong since ive had the tint on my truck for 2 years and it has passed two other times.
Dont go there. They just quote you something you dont need to fix. They also charges you $5 to remove license plate frame and dont let me remove it by myself.

I came in for a inspection and the guy I believe the owner had a bad attitude. I had a question regarding registration and he immediately cut me off and started to yell at me. I told him he shouldnt yell and he is rude and he told me to get the Fxxx out! I was shocked! Dont come to this place!
The worst day ever in my life by going to this auto place for a simple car inspection. I recently moved to Quincy and picked this place as recommended by my families. Now I am not just disappointed, but extremely angry and disgusted by this place. It is a snowing day in Boston, I called this place before going to make sure they do have people on site for car inspection. When I arrived, the office door was closed, and all the garages doors are closed, though I clearly saw at least 3 people in the office and they saw me as well. I was polite enough not to disturb them by knocking the door and was standing in the rain/snow right in front (but outside) and called them again. The lady picked the call and looked like she came out but actually instead of opening the office door where I was right outside, she turned around and disappeared. I was still standing in the snow/rain waiting until I figured out that she may came out from the garage side. So I took the chance and went to the other side; couple minutes later she came out. By then I had been in the rain/snow for 15 mins; I kept asking her where shall I go in both Chinese and English, since it is snowing and raining hard. She looked like she had no idea what she was doing and she kept saying in English that it was because it was too cold...I guess she meant because it was so cold so they didnt open any doors...but excuse me, am I not cold by standing in the rain the past 15 mins; and why are you still letting me standing outside like this without pointing to me where shall I go first as your customer??????? Then she asked for my key and started moving my car, again still not telling me where shall I go. Eventually she pointed at a side door at the garage and told me I could go there...I thought it was a door to the office, then I found she just dumped me in a crappy garage with all the tools and the guy who was inspecting my car right there. Of course, I was very unhappy and cant wait to get out of this place asap. The guy asked me very rudely tong xing zheng which in Chinese means the authority to drive, so I gave him the drive license...he shouted at me again not this one!!!, then I figured out he meant the registry.....you can imagine how I felt at the moment after all these.....While I was texting my families, I found my car was gone, I guessed the inspection was done. Of course, no one told me at all. So I asked the guy who did the inspection and said where is my sticker and how much is the eservice? He started accusing me having attitude.....of course, we ended with a fight as you can imagine..... he even threatened that if I was not a girl, he would just beat me.......okay.....well, I start wondering if I am in the United States or some brutal areas in China (btw, I am a Chinese, I am very familiar with the Chinese services back in China, but even for someone like me who are used to such, it is still very hard for me to experience such in the US. No mention, these days, the service has improved in China so much and even back there, I wont be treated like a such.....honestly, I dont feel I was treated like a human being since the moment I standed in the rain/snow while they saw me right there.... )

The worst experience I ever had ! When I asked him why removing the licence plate frame, he said, if you ask, you wont pass state inspection. $10 extra charge for just removing the frame which no other inspection stores do.
