The staff and crew at Meineke was exceptional. They were thorough and professional and were incredibly efficient in diagnosing all of the issues in my vehicle and completed the work at a price we were beyond happy with. I can’t recommend Chris and the team at Meineke any higher!!

Could not have had a better experience at a mechanic. When I pulled in they looked busy and I was afraid I’d have a long wait, but they got everything done on time. Super friendly and professional staff, definitely making this my official spot to get my oil changed.

All I asked for was an oil change, it must be full service here because I see my wheel has been taken off. Not much area for parking, make a schedule online before you come, if you are dropping off a car ot seems like they will work with you. You can most likely find a coupon online so youre not paying $50+ for a tube and lube. Theres definitely a bit of things that they do your car when you go there I was here for an oil change and was here for legit an hour and it looks like the recommended items to fix on my car are a list of things that come out to 1600 $1,600 1600 they asked me if I want to take care of any of the items today I almost paid 6995 for an oil change but you got to read the fight fine print on the coupons I almost paid almost $70 for an oil change luckily the coupon wording with clear enough that I got an oil change for almost $30 still expensive but it does the job thank you for your help youre interested in being successful, experiencing professional growth, and achieving excellence here at Meineke

I recently took my 2011 Hyundai Sonata to have my A/C unit checked due to blowing out hot air. Chris was super helpful in explaining what was occurring within the unit. He was able to release the pressure from the system, which was over pressurized and add the Freon. I would definitely recommend this business for a visit if you are having any issues; Professional and I did not pay an arm and a leg.

Great staff and took care of my car efficiently

My car ac hasnt been working properly for awhile… not only that but its been blowing out only warm air. After I bought it here for the first time and have them to take a look at it. They were able to diagnose the problem and fully recharge my AC and checked my pressure. So now my car blows out cold air from the get go and now I can officially survive driving around the summer without being baked in an oven. Highly recommend.

Very friendly team. I ordered a oil change package with fluids topoff and tires rotation. All done quickly, but when at home I realzed they didnt refill the coolant which is below minimum. Ill probably have to go again and have that fixed... So a mixed experience for a first time at Meineke.

I gave 1 star for value. With an online coupon I received an oil change with the basic oil for $19.95 plus $7 or $8 to cover the disposal of the old oil. As far as customer service, it felt somewhat combative. I had to cancel my appointment due to an accident on 93, which created a backup for miles. I called to reschedule while stuck in the traffic jam. The woman scheduled me for the next day. When I arrive theres a lot of confusion, it seems Im not in their scheduling system, and hes too busy to take me today. Well I know that I spoke to an employee and was given an appointment. So maybe I called a different meineke..... I call the number which made the appointment and what do you know???? The phone at the counter Im standing by rings. The woman answers and I say hello. So now the boss says well when were busy and cannot answer the phone it goes to a service. Therefore they made the appointment. He goes on to say he was scheduling appointments on Wednesdays only cause the other days were booked solid. Im somewhat irritated with the lack of communication with his service who are booking appointments WILLY NILLY without knowing if those time slots were already filled or not. Now the 45 min drive was a complete waste of my time and, its a 45 min ride home, only to make another hour and a half trip next Wednesday. The oil change was fine and the son did a basic inspection and I received a report for items that need attention. The father/ owner gave me a bloated estimate for the repairs including parts and labor. I checked out some prices for these parts and hes charging many times the price I was quoted. The daughter who worked the desk had a difficult time with the office computer. I had a military coupon for a small % off but the father said I already got a discounted price and couldnt use my military discount. Id. After a few mishaps with the office computer we finally got checked out. Although I appreciate the inspection Im not sure what to make of it since I recently had the same inspection complimentary of AAA. Both of their conclusions were conflicting. Guess Ill be getting a third from a recommended mechanic who I know is trustworthy and not out to charge me with unnecessary work and present me with fair prices.Thank you for your time

Everyone is super friendly and professional. The mechanic goes out of his way to explain potential issues with your car without pressuring you. I could go to somewhere closer to home but I choose to go to the Quincy location because I always have a great experience with them.

Went in for a vibrating sound underneath my car. Turns out it was a loose heat shield. Very friendly and quick. Explained to me what they needed to do to fix the problem and why. They explained the price beforehand so there were no surpirses. As a bonus there are three $ stores across the street while you wait! Great service.

I contacted Meinke in Quincy when I realized the truck I recently purchased from a used car dealer had major exhaust issues. They were professional timely courteous to say the least. They gave me a quote for repairs and worked on my truck that should have never passed inspection. Thanks to the employees at meinke from the woman Sabina that answered the phone to the mechanic that spent 4 days replacing 2 exhaust mana folds and the Manager Chris for handling my repair situation with the upmost professionalism I am happy customer and would recommend this repair shop to anyone.

People here are knowledgeable. I went in for a brake pad check (30k mi and havent got checked till date). Techinician Chris did walk me in through the car to show me that the brakes are good and doesnt need to be changed in near time. Appreciate their Frank behaviour. He also referred me to Ford for Unusual tire thread wear issue in my car. Awesome place

Jan took me in with no apt t. When i called she could fit me in. Was nice to talk cars as well with Chris and ryan, and about classic muscle cars. Nice that they reached out after my service was done. Shop seems clean and neat.

This guy is petty and unprofessional. We dropped my girlfriends car off for a tire rotation and balancing. He tried up selling us claiming bad shocks and bad tires and need to be replaced. We declined the repair and asked for the vehicle to be left alone. When the car was picked up the cabin air filter and glove box was left on the floor and was never reinstalled and the hood latch was never closed all the way. We never even asked for the filter to be replaced. Petty BS for wasting his time. I called him for an explanation as to why it wasnt reinstalled and was told, Sometimes we forget these things. How can you forget to put back the glove box back when it is staring you in the face as you back the vehicle out of the garage slot? This guy is a joke. He will up sell you to death and will forget things if you dont buy.

Chris was and is great. Handled all the problems I was experiencing. Informed me of another issue but didn’t pressure me into fixing it like I’ve experienced at other places. Definitely would recommend Chris and his crew.

I will never bring my car back here and advise everyone considering bringing their car here to do the same! They dont care about their customers and will leave early leaving you unable to get your car back. This location is open until 6pm. They were informed that I would be here at 5:30 to pick up my car. When I arrived at 5:30 they had already closed and there was no way to contact them and I am now forced to find another way to get to work.

They overcharge you for everything and oversell you things that you might not need RIGHT NOW!The smart way to go about is get their suggestions, shop (call) around for a better price and get it done when you need it.

This shop is straightforward with price and they treat you with respect and responsibility in all your automotive needs. Chris is a great mechanic to work with.

I went in for an oil change. While I was there, the mechanics found an issue with my brakes. Thank heavens they did, I would of been driving around without any brakes. They even drove me to my place and picked me back up. They fix the problem on the back brakes. I still need to have the front brakes done. I am returning to Meineke on the Southern Artery for them to be fixed. It has been quite awhile since I trusted a place to do anything to my car. It is nice to know that I can trust Meineke.Irene

Had several issues. All were addressed quickly and honestly. They never try to sell you something you don’t need and are sympathetic to your financial situation. This meineke location (Quincy) is far superior to most auto repair locations that are just trying to make money and don’t really care about the customer. If you need your car fixed right the first time, this is where you need to go. See Chris Chetwyn… he will not let you down.

Car was making banging noise rear. Thought it was bushings and sway bar links. Meineke told me they were not able to remove the bushings but replace the links car is still making the same noise $469 later nothing changed at all

I just wanted a 20 minute oil change. In and out. They took an hour and tried to sell me on fixing a million things in my car. I told them I don’t have time or the desire twice and they still proceeded to print me a list of everything that needs work. I was just extremely annoyed with the whole process.

Ive been going here for years, probably 7+. Its simple, I buy beaters, Chris fixes any problem and keeps them running, lol....He knows what hes doing, goes above and beyond to help, upfront and honest, and the staff is great. I live a few towns away, and wont take my cars elsewhere.

Quick and easy and very polite people

I had the worst, most unprofessional experience of my life at this Meineke and it will surely be the last time I ever visit one for any service I need and I have already begun to be an advocate for all my friends and family to boycott this pathetic company. Forcing higher prices and unnecessary products, lying about what my car actually needs, and threatening me when I stood my ground and wanted to take my car elsewhere. If I did call the cops on this company I honestly don’t know where this experience would have gone. NEVER bring your car to a Meineke, especially the Quincy. MA location.

My a/c was blowing hot air on one of the hottest days in July so far. I called and spoke with Chris and told him that I had a coupon for a free a/c check. He told me that since my car is blowing hot air and I had a hose replaced a couple summers ago, that they would need to do another type of more in-depth check with ink to see if I had a leak anywhere. He told me to come right in. When I got there, the receptionist and he were very friendly, patient and sympathetic to my situation and got me right in. He told me it would take about an hour for the test and in just about an hour he brought me back and showed me what he found out. I indeed had a tiny pin hole leak in one of my hoses that was visibly chafed. He told me the price of the hose and that it would take about 2 hours to replace. I walked home and waited for the call. When my car was ready Chris told me that he would send someone to come get me so that I wouldnt have to walk back there. When I got back to Meineke, my bill was about $35 less than what he first quoted me. I appreciate how they took care of me and never made me feel like I was being taken advantage of or ripped off. My a/c now gets ice cold right away and I couldnt be happier with my first ever Meineke experience. Will recommend them to anyone.LoriPs, the big dog was very chill and friendly too.

Chris is a very honest guy. He and his crew are very knowledable and honest. He only recommends things that are needed and is very upfront about the things that need done now and things that can wait. Been going to him for years and he always fits me right in! Definitely will continue to go to him! Despite other Meinekes not having a great reputation I would definitely recommend this one to anyone.

The owner is quite rude and will not be transparent and upfront about the pricing. I understand the pricing can change based on what needs to be fixed and so on what not but if there are any min. charges or fees that will be applicable to the work or once you drop the car - those charges/fees should have been mentioned. The website suggests free diagnostics but in the opinion of Chris, once you drop the car, you have to pay. Chris have no issue lying to the customer and changing his words after, so be cautious if you plan on using this establishment. Oh, did I mention, their prices for replacements parts are like 200% of what other business will charge.

As always Chris had warned me as to future repairs so forewarned and forearmed I made an appointment. This is the only shop I trust and would always send my friends in all auto mobile situations

He made a wrong diagnosis and charged me $300 for it,. After he realized that the problem wasn’t fixed he asked me to pay another $1,300 without subtract the previous mistake, even when he called it a diagnosis (on the web site it states that diagnosis free). Quite rude and loud every time I asked him the reasons etc. and on top of this expensive. The same issue was fixed for $1,000 later by another mechanic. Also his business advertises Meineke but when I questioned him he said that he is NOT affiliated with them. False advertisement.Overall I Do not recommend this business unless he drastically changes attitude.

I was told it would take 90 mins and that was the amount of time it took to complete the brakes on my car both the front and back.At the time of cash out,l ask the cashier if they were a senior discount available,she didnt hesitated to say yes, she sure did deduct that dollar amount from my bill and with a lifetime warranty on my brakes, l truly appreciate the service l recieved for the Quincys Meineke establishment. I dont have enough wonderful things to say about these guys! I have been going to them for my car for a little less than a year know and they have always been more than helpful. Chris is fabulous and always makes sure to keep me up to date with exactly what work needs to be done and explains the reasons why. When having issues with my car they even let me take a rental for the day and overnight if need be. I will not be taking my car anywhere other than this Meineke. Thank you so much!

I had visited this place 3 weeks ago for an oil and filter change. Took the premium full synthetic oil change package for $69.95 and was told that that would be all in total. Tire rotation was included in the package. I had some scratches in my rear rim and when the service was done, the rim was still at the same location instead of being rotated and put in the front side. When I spoke with the Manager, he did not agree with my evidence and after some arguments, got one side of the wheels rotated. I tried to open the oil filter cap as I doubted that it wasnt changed too and it was so tight that it didnt open. It would have easily opened if the filter was changed 20 mins back. On top of this, I was told that I had to pay $120 appx because of the extra oil been used. All these added up to me losing trust in this location. After 3 weeks of following up with the Customer care, I am told today that they cant let me get this service inspected at any other Meineke location, cant refund my money and I should just go to this location again to address the issue. I would never go to any Meineke location going forward as even the Customer care is not helpful.

ABSOLUTE SCAM! Wrote up over $2,000 worth of suggested repairs I needed. Took it to two other mechanic shops who both disputed the original claim. Meineke claimed I needed rear wheel work, which could only be seen by taking the wheel off and I watched my mechanic use a hammer to knock the nuts off the wheel. No way they even took the wheel off before diagnosing. Absolute scam! Got my whole car fixed for under $300 and did not use any of their bogus claims. 0 Stars if they let me.

They took 5 hours to simplify change all four tires on my car.
