Great experience in purchasing a 2012 Lincoln MKX from Jeannie Ritchey. I was purchasing the vehicle from 400 miles away and Jeannie provided all the information I needed to make a decision and held the vehicle until I could drive down on the weekend. The vehicle was in excellent condition as described. I especially appreciate that the service department replaced the battery so we had not issues on drive home. Overall great experience and very happy with the new Lincoln. Thanks again for the wonderful service.

First off I traded my vehicle in on a cheaper vehicle so I would be getting a check for my trade. I was told after all the paperwork was signed that they couldn’t write me the check until after they received my title. However they had no problem putting it on the lot for sale without the title. Secondly the car I bought had a check engine light so I left it with them for several days to get fixed. When I come to pick it up, the light was still on so I made yet another appointment to get it fixed. The problem is a cam sensor, 1bolt to replace it and it’s right on top of the engine. The appointment was at 2pm and 3 hours later, it’s still not fixed. Haven’t offered me as much as a free oil change for my wasted time. Horrible customer service. Will never do business with this place again.

Negotiated an Out the door price on a vehicle which means everything including taxes,title,abd all dealer hidden fees are to be included in final negotiated price. Went next to with check in hand and the numbers were NOT an Out the Door price and was told by the salesman that he had never heard of that term before..... Will NEVER do business with them in the future and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. If you arent financing through them so they can get their $300.00 kick back they lie. They also claim they can take a vehicle to auction and make 3k over asking price. When dealers actually go to auction to purchase vehicles at reduced prices to sell for 20%+ profits.

No real problem with dealership, but very disappointed that Toyota wont stand behind its gas mileage rating. Ive struggled to get 32-34 mpg on 2020 RAV4 rated at 40. Field tech drove the vehicle for 73 miles and used 2.173 gallons of gas, which works out to 33.6 mpg, but says there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. I am very frustrated that Toyota will not stand behind its product and advertising!

Absolutely great experience! We dealt with Josh and he went above and beyond the call of duty to exceed our expectations. I came in for a regularly scheduled service appointment. Only 1/8 employees were wearing mask and disinfectant wipes were not available to wipe down sitting room areas. Employees were not following CDC guidelines for social distancing. I do not recommend going here until the pandemic is over.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I’m an out of state buyer interested in a specific pre owned car they had. I submitted an internet lead and was almost immediately contacted by Jeannie Ritchey. The car had just gotten to their dealer and there was very little information available online. Within 3 hours, Jeannie had tracked down all the information on the car that I requested, and had personally found the car to send me pictures. I decided I wanted the car and let Jeannie and the sales manager Aaron know to proceed. The night before they were to deliver the car to me 500 miles away, an issue with the car arose. Instead of delivering it the way it was, they elected to wait until the next day to contact me and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. The car arrived when it was supposed to, and looked even better than I expected it to. I have bought 10+ cars over the internet, sight unseen, and this is without a doubt the most efficient experience I have had in doing so. A+ all around to this organization. I’ll bet I don’t have more than 30 minutes of my time wrapped up into buying a car - the way it should be. No surprises along the way. Very happy with Jeannie, Aaron, and their finance manager Bryce.

I purchased a used vehicle 6 weeks ago and the battery completely died in this weather. I didnt really think they would do anything about it since it was a used vehicle and it was a battery issue but I called just to see. To my complete surprise they took care of the problem and installed a new battery. Im very impressed with the service they give and recommend that if you are looking for a new or used vehicle you give them a chance.

I purchased a used car for my mom in September and within a couple of weeks starting having problems with it. Shottenkirk wont do anything because I took it to another shop (a shop weve used for years and is a family friend). Ive spent quite a bit on repairs and now Ill be putting it in the shop again as there is another issue that just popped up.

Put $500 down on vehicle,they were open 5 hrs after deposit put down,something came up,were I was going to possibly use the money for something else,paying cash for vehicle,a deal is a deal, but 5 hours of business, cant believe any sale was lost in 5 hours,they keep my deposit,very disappointed ! The salesman was good Derrick,it wouldnt of bothered me,to give a little something for their time, but $500, the car wasnt even ready to be sold,interior ripped among other things that had to be repaired,before officially on lot,as another review said,shoddy Business practice,Ive been a business owner for years,keeping current customers, and future customers is important,and the customer should not feel taken advantage of.

Probably the best place in Quincy to purchase a vehicle from. I went in on Tuesday to purchase my new car (first time ever buying from a dealership) and the guys there were extremely helpful and not super pushy. I enjoyed the experience a lot and will definitely recommend.

We continue to take them in for their regular check ups is in our Toyota care that came with the vehicle when we purchased it. There are several sales people that are pleasant to work with and the service department always get you in an out promptly.

UPDATE-Just went down and burnt another 2 hours plus on a car that looks good on their low quality pictures, didnt show it was rusted through on the entire passenger side rocker panel, and was missing clearcoat off the front bumper. Misrepresentation. Cheap car, new car, whatever, it should (might be idk, thats next to research) be illegal to misrepresent product like that. Its like looking at a pack of hotdogs, to go buy them, and theres only 1 in the package thats rotted and green...(original negative review)Thought I had bought a truck online, only to drive over an hour each way,and return home in my truck.. the one i was trading in because the truck was not there. Allegedly sold at 9am. This Shottencrooks scam, bait and switch BS tactics are the same as all the rest of their stores.Hearing I want you to look at this GMC while youre down here was a dead giveaway that the truck I (thought) bought online wasnt there. Never met an honest shottenkirk lot. Im not stepping foot on another one, been screwed by 3 of them now.

Antoinette was very professional, kind and informative over the phone and accommodated us since we drove from so far away. We are satisfied with our vehicle and glad we made our purchase here. Theyve been holding my truck for me based on given word, picked me up from the train, offered a hot lunch. Got a call from Stu said he was wanting to make a great deal called the salesmen I was told they couldnt do any better than when I stopped in 3 months ago. Moral of this story is I made a mistake and sold and traded them 2 very nice vehicles and bought a way over priced vehicle and almost 3 years later they still cannot make a legitimate trade with the overpriced van that we should not have bought the sales person was a great guy no complaints there he was new at the time!!

After months/hours of searching for just the right truck,I found it at Shottenkirk in Quincy.They actually had two of them.The salesperson Kelly was very helpful in finding answers to my concerns on specific areas of the truck, sending me the extra photos i requested and checking with the shop on something I asked about .All my calls and emails were quickly answered.The vehicle I inquired about was quickly and correctly identified,and confirmed to be available.The year,price,trim etc.was quickly determined.All this is important folks,when inquiring about a vehicle who needs or has time for vague or incorrect answers.Kellys extra effort convinced me to make the 6 hour drive to Quincy.She called me on the way down,helped me with directions,and had the truck ready when I arrived.The truck was nicer than I expected,got about what I expected for my trade in and drove home with a full tank of gas.Even took some time out on my way home to do a little 4-wheelin.

Same complaint as with all shottenkirk dealerships in this town. The staff is rude and are only in it for the money. They try to up mark the prices on cars and make it seem like it is a deal when it turn it is not. We got a Corolla in STL for a much better deal because they were willing to work with us. The staff here does not seem helpful at all and are only there for a paycheck.Sad this place used to be good.

Ill never be back a bunch of liers and as far as the warranty what a joke I should have went elsewhere Ill know next time. I bought a 07 tundra with 108,000 for miles which isnt anything for these trucks unfortunately they want 518 dollars to change a o2 sensor no thanks Ill do it myself and then their is a shutter in the transmission which should be covered but every time I get it up there oh theirs nothing wrong with it and all they do is run my gas out. I definitely will be buying elsewhere you lost me for good.

I have been out of the car market for a while, but as a friend, JP Parke is very knowledgeable and is always willing to answer any vehicle questions on and off the clock.

I called to find out what it was going to cost for the service I needed, the rep said $330. When service was done they charged $409 and that was with a coupon.

They sold me a 2016 Camry that was supposed to have gone through multi-point inspection. Low tire pressure warning light was on when salesmen brought it around for test drive, key fob missing all but one button. Rear bumper looked repainted but car fax showed no accident reported. I signed piece of paper with agreed upon price. They added over $170.00 to agreeded upon price when financing was figured !They said the charge was for nitrogen that tires were filled with. (Nitrogen is 7.00 per tire if you want it and already in tires before I drove car!) One tire is almost flat so nitrogen is gone. Next day I noticed paint overspray all over right side glass and side panels plus tire jack missing! So inspection was lacking and the detailing of outside of car! I brought it to the salesman attention. Two weeks later most stuff was taken care of . I buffed the car side and razor blade scraped glass. They repaired tire, replaced key fob and replace tire jack. BUT, since they added a $170 bogus charge to the price of car I actually paid for everything!

Horrible customer service, i would not recommend buying a car from them and for sure not taking it out to get parts fixed. They broke something in my car and want me to pay to get it fixed. I would advise taking out of town to get fixed with professionals

COMPLETE RIPOFF....tacked on FEES for out of state claiming they didn’t know how much they were suppose to charge.... Overcharged for tax, title, license fees.... They couldn’t even explain how they came up with the numbers.

Very friendly People, they make you feel like family. car prices are low and very fair. i went in with my rusty 99 mountaineer. we looked at 3 cars, all were very nice priced but i wasnt sold on hem. i seen a nice Honda Accord, black, 2005 with new tires on it. they helped me get all the paper work for it as slow or fast as i was wanting to get out. no pressure, no gimmicks, as i was talking to the finance manager i was told theres to warranties that come with all there cars. one is a 3 month or 3000 mile protecting the car, the other was a 12 month protecting any rim, tire windshield, or ding damage to the car which will be fixed at no cost. if your in Quincy and in the market for a car. this is the place to be. i moved here from Sterling il and i have to say im very impressed of this dealership. very friendly people.
