Fake people with very disturbing attitudes. Estimates are under spoken and service is over rated. They give several different estimates to different customers...just depends on your breast size.

I was in town for a funeral when my exhaust broke off. Not having a lot of money i explained to the guy at the front desk what had happened and the circumstances of me being in town so I walked in off the street needing the down spout of my muffler tack welded back on and when I asked for a price. Told me not to worry about it. I guess their are some great souls left in this world. Thank you guys so much. If I ever hear of anyone needing exhaust work I am definitely only responding with Velasquez Complete Auto Care! Thanks again for the wonderful service and great hospitality! Definitely made my day better!!

I usually get multiple estimates from different shops and go with the best estimate. Velasquez has given me the wrong diagnosis on multiple occasions. It’s like they close their eyes and point and there goes your problem. I have also gotten multiple prices for the same repair from different people at the shop. Recently I took it to get an estimate and after two days passed with no call or update I had my wife call and was told “oh yeah it’s ready” . When she gets there they charge her $33 for a suspension checkup even though it was a free estimate! I just paid it and left knowing I would never come back again. I recommend you use another shop! Unless you wanna pay repair after repair trying to “figure out” the problem. And as most who go here know the prices are way higher than most. If you are a women try and bring a man with you, your price will probably be less and you will be treated fairly because my wife gets different treatment At Velasquez than I for some reason.

Staff is unprofessional. Didn’t have my vehicle ready when they said they would. Didn’t call me to let me know that it would be a whole Nother day. And now when I try to call them the next day at their phones are disconnected. Brought my car in to get two tires changed and ended up having to replace a whole radiator that I don’t even think was broke. Plus staff doesn’t even speak English.

My exhaust system was loud.I was told to go here, the other repair shop said they bend their own pipes and that the other shop could touch their prices.A different shop wanted to charge me $30 Just to look at it.AND they would replace everything, sight unseen. Plus I had to make an appt.At Velasquez, no appt.But it is recommended. Next time I will make one.They fixed it up, new muffler, and another repair, and Im out the door.They do everything but body work.I found my new auto repair shop.Brakes, front end, tune ups, and exhaust.Nice waiting room, clean bathroom.

Went in for an alignment and ended up not getting one because they said something was broke on the front drive train. Took my car into the shop and it wasnt broke. Velasquez however did charge me for them telling me it was broke. They didnt say that they were going to charge for looking at it since I didnt even ask for them to look at it.

They can get the job done but there prices is a lil bit out rages. I think even the lady at front counter knows this too, i did some checking they do have a lot of shops in Milwaukee and ILL and ind as well so far and all there prices are pretty much the same high. If you want a good job done and dont mind paying the price this place is for you.

I brought two of my vehicles in to get complete exhaust replacements on both vehicles at the same time. By the time I got home my trucks power steering fluid line to the steering gear was bent and leaking and a fuel line was pouring near the rear of truck. I also had missing bolts in the supposed brand new exhaust one the car, and gave me a rusty muffler on the car as well. All this, and they refused to fix, replace, or even help me. Ill never go back. Nor will I ever suggest this place to someone else. I wouldnt trust them changing a flat tire on my bike.

The worst ever they change out parts that arent nessesary, and tell you its needed, its a total rip off and thy charge so much for what their inexperience! As a woman I know not to weld a muffler to a trailer hitch, Ill stick to doing my own work seeing how these idiots dont seem to know what theyre doing! Not my monkey not my circus!

I brought my Buick to this place for a sensor ended up paying 700 for something that costed 20 dollars and left with my engine light still on I went up there a total of 20 times within 2 months

Over priced try to charge me for a flex pipe. $ 180., AND. $90. FOR A gasket WENT TO. AC auto was charged. $ 75 Bucks

Little did they know Im a mechanic also. I only went to them because I had no coolant pressure tester. They tried to tell me I need hella stuff when I didnt and he noticed that I knew what I was talking about and he asked are you a mechanic and I said yes and when I said that he said oh Im gonna have to charge you for the diagnostic I said no the lady at the desk already said theres no charge nice try. And he had a dumb look on his face and said something under his breath in Spanish to his friend. they also charged a young girl $540 for just a wheel bearing and I asked her did they seriously charge you that much for a wheel bearing and she said yes so I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

If you can talk/work with one of the guys actually in the shop, the service and pricing is fair. However, most days theres the crankiest, nagging, cross woman Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with running things at the front counter who always seems to have better things to do than help customers and constantly talks down to you in a demeaning manner. I understand that things come up, that sometimes repairs can end up costing more than estimated, and that estimates are just that: *estimates*....but this woman consistently overcharges well beyond the estimated price for repairs and service, and then tries to explain it with bulls**t excuses and reasoning that contradict each other. Thats ignoring the fact that even though you can see the shop empty, and the parking lot has no vehicles waiting to be worked on, you should realistically expect to wait an extra 2-6 days for any service or repairs to be completed.When it gets done, the work is decent. The customer service at the counter? God awful.

A top notch Automotive Repair shop they go the extra mile in taking care of your car and inform you of needed upcoming repairs your vehicle will need and very professional and try to save you money if something can be repaired instead of being replaced

Ok so to be honest, i truly am so disappointed with my overall experience here. I came in to get my brakes done. Since their name has brakes in it. I thought i was in the right place but was i wrong or what... First i get my brakes done and the squeak badly but i let it go for a day. I went and got a brand new set of tires. Well the tire shop couldnt get the lug nuts off one of the tires because Velasquez over tightened them so badly that the tire shop wouldnt even touch it no more until i brought it back. Well than Velasquez had to use a torch to get it off and i told them to be careful doing it because they would warp my caliper and they thought they were the professionals. And a customer could have no idea what they are talking about. Well considering i do all the work on my own car and all of my co workers cars i know a thing or two. And sure enough they warped my caliper so now i have a brake system that will wear my pads unevenly and squeak everytime i stopped. And i brought it back twice and they havent addressed the issue even tho i told them what it was. They left me without a car for weeks and never fixed it. Finally i said screw it ill do it myself. Even tho i have the part to fix it i havent had the time yet to fix it. Id suggest anywhere else besides this place. Their prices are thru the roof and they also do not fix and address the problems you want them too. Its a complete rip off and i truly suggest to go to a locally owned shop because this place will take your money and not fix anything. -5 stars.

Ridiculous prices... The highest around, & for what? They do nothing special at all. Got quoted $300 to fix an exhaust leak. Took it to another shop and paid $80. Place is a joke. They try to charge you $35 for finding said exhaust leak too.

Horrible horrible people! I took my car there and they told me me I need over 3400 in work to my car. I choose to get a second opinion and Thank God I did. I took my car to Nicks Garage on Rapids and he took care of all my car needs for under 2000.

Front desk lady was very rude .. mechanic gave us one price then front desk undermined mechanic and said an out her thing .. mean while all in Spanish thinking I didnt speak Spanish . Best car repair & maintenance service

Got an oil change and wheel alignment. The guy put the wrong filter on my car so while driving all oil came out. They paid me the for oil change but still had to pay a 10 fee for the guy to do the job wrong. Now on my wheel alignment they told me it was still pulling me cause the part was old got it fix and the car still pulls and steering wheel is not straight ..

I personally believe This place is great i dont know why people talk bad upon them, just remember anywhere you go with an attitude they arent going to want to help you or lower a price but i recommend them 100%
