Try going in for a state inspection and notice their door garage door open and thought I might get and out quick. Since I know this service does first come first serve, i got there around 4:06 and they told me that they couldnt get me in because they had a lot to do and they only have one inspector. While yet they were standing around the desk talking and the garage was empty. Sorry not sorry but I think it was unprofessional of them to tell me that.

My daughter is a grad student at Radford University and was having a issue with her car making a noise when driving it. The vehicle is a 2012 Hyundai Tuscon with only 47000 miles. After a disappointing visit to Duncan Hyundai in Christiansburg, on Monday, which was useless. They wouldnt even take the time to put the car on a lift and check it, but told my daughter she would have to leave it and it would be a week before they would have a mechanic to check it out. They suggested that she drive the vehicle back home to the dealership where it was purchased, which is an hour and half away. She contacted D & E Garage because the noise was getting worse. They worked her in and was very nice to help. Turns out it was the lug nuts were loose on the drivers side front wheel. If she would have taken the advice of the idiots at Duncan, then she could have been in a serious wreck. Hats off to the local businesses. They have earned the respect of me and my daughter forever.

Everytime I go there its been only for a inspection sticker but it was fast and the guys really looked at my vehicles instead of just throwing a sticker on it. Friendly little shop.

This place is absolutely amazing. everyone was extremely polite and accommodating. Ive never gone to a garage or mechanic that i actually felt 100% at ease. I immediately knew they were genuine and there to help, not fill their pockets or try to take advantage. They even offered preacher cookies to us while waiting. They were very fast and i left smiling knowing i wasnt duped, fed any bull, or anything like you find at most garages. Especially being a single female. They were kind, caring, explanatory, and actually conversational. I honestly cant say enough good things. I heard about them, due to a friend getting a flat tire right near their shop . She had a car full of kids and no spare. They immediately helped her strictly out of genuine kindness And caring. Amazing place.

I have been going to D&E Garage to get state inspections since I moved here over 11 years ago. The folks there have always been kind, helpful, and honest. I do most of my own maintenance and often help others with theirs, a few times even calling or stopping by D&E to ask questions and they have always been patient and welcoming, despite having never really spent any money there. So when I needed timing components changed and didnt have the time or confidence to do it myself, I didnt consider anyone else. I ordered the parts, called for a quote and scheduled the maintenance. I had to call and re-schedule last minute because the parts hadnt arrived, but they rolled with it no problem. They ended up completing the maintenance on time and within their estimate, which was less than I expected. No up-charging, no gimmicks, no issues at all, just fair and straight forward. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

This is one of the best garages in the NRV if not the absolute best. Darrell, Travis, Will and the rest of the staff are amazing, super friendly and always willing to help anyway that they can. Would recommend to anyone needing car repairs done.

No complaints, thus far! Actually, about to have my vehicle inspected by them. Theyve done my inspections for the past 4+ yrs. When I failed--they explained in detail what needed to be done. They are very knowledgeable and its a long running, family-owned business.Only downfall is the location, as it is DIRECTLY off RT114... And can be highly dangerous stopping to turn in, move about the packed lot, and esp pulling out into traffic. Just be cautious and youll be fine. Ladies, if you are worried--one of the men will gladly help get the vehicle in a position to make exciting easier... Just ask.

Came in on short notice for an inspection and was welcomed by everyone! I was in and out in 15/20 mins with no issues and a new sticker!!Being a female I worry that Im going to be told I need things that I do not, just for a shop to make a few bucks, especially having my 3 yr old with me and being distracted by her. (happened in the past) But I did not get that feeling here, I think they treat every coustomer equally!D&E is not my usual body shop but after today they my be! Thanks guys, for taking care of us!

Unlike many of the local chain auto repair shops, who have proven on multiple occasions to provide shoddy work, untrustworthy repairs, and over price labor cost for underskilled mechanics. D&E garage is family own and operated, with kind, hardworking, dedicated and trustworthy staff. I can not praise their shop enough.

Ok so i go to this garage which Ive never been and found that the lady in the shop was super nice along with a rodger fellow, I went for an inspection sticker and my vehicle failed due to the rod ends, great they caught it right? I took it home done the work myself, I went to take my lug nuts when I got home my air compressor was set at 150 psi and it wouldnt budge my lug nuts, I then put my torque wrench on them and 170 ft lbs it wouldnt even click about 160 it did ( newer snap on torque wrench) when I told the owner he said we dont use impact, we torque the lugs so i ask how did they get that tight then and one was stripped on removal ??? Does any one else have their lugs tighten themselves and strip themselves after leaving this garage?? Must be the road . i had no offer to fix or repair anything only that it wasnt their fault it was so strange how that happen bye bye ..now out of my pocket and labor I will eat my wheel stud and lug nutt due to sorryness of an impact !!!!!!that (never happened )!!!!! Be very careful people watch what they do dont chit chat and trust !!!!
