Exceedingly rude, uneducated and lazy male staff. Dismissive and unable to understand an elementary question. I had asked if he could access my prescription from their Ontario location. His response was he would need the store number and, that would necessitate a phone call (he, of course, did not use the word necessitate!). I searched on my phone and gave him the store number (it took less than 40 seconds!). He is a liar, as well, mentioned 2 different costs for the same upgrades and, was still incorrect! His utter lack of any customer service skills, let alone, professionalism casts a long, dark shadow on this department. His name is daniel.
Worst customer service, rude and unhappy employees. When I arrived I waited at the entrance, an employee sitting at the front had asked me to wait before coming in to get screened. I said sure, but that I would need a seat for my father in law because he can not stand for long periods of times, due to Parkinson’s. A young gentleman came out, and said “well he is going to have to stand and pick out his glasses.” He then asked me a few question regarding what I needed. I told him, I had a prescription for new glasses, and he proceeded to ask about the insurance we had. I responded to him with Medicare and he was quick to say well we don’t take that insurance. Which came off very dismissive. I told him that it was fine and we would pay out of pocket and he continued with his questions, do you need far or reading glasses. I told him whatever the prescription says, he replied with well I don’t know what you discussed with your doctor. I was translating for my father in law and told him we needed far distant glasses. So he turned around and began walking towards his desk, we proceeded to follow and he turned around and said not you two I didn’t screen you, your going to have to stand outside. So I waited outside the entrance with my son that is one years old in the stroller. He continued to ask my father in law questions and explain to him the process of picking glasses and putting them in the box when he touched them. My father in law doesn’t speak the native language nor is his hearing all that good. The young gentleman continued to get irritated, frustrated, and loud with him. While I’m explaining to my father in law from outside that he wanted to get the same frames he was already wearing, my son pulled on the rope. He yelled from across the room, “that’s not a toy to play with,” I pulled the stroller back and asked him why he was being so rude to us. He said,“because I said that’s not a toy. “ I said no from the minute we walked in. I asked him to give us the paper work and we would go somewhere else.I was upset by the way we were being talked to as if we were prisoners who had committed a crime. Lastly have some compassion for the elderly it takes a lot to get him out and the purpose of me going was to help him, translate and be by his side.
My favorite Walmart to go to!!!!! The lady at the vision center is the best she had took the time out to explain my prescription to me and helped me out in picking my frames and lenses will definitely continue to do business here!
Well the receptionist was rude did not answer the phone probably and they need a better service.
