My husband and I had a great experience shopping at Scandinavian Design. We bought several pieces of furniture to furnish our newly purchased condo. We love the modern styles and classic lines of the pieces. Quentin was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We were at the store a few days a week for many weeks deciding what to buy and there was never any time when we felt pressured or rushed. It was a great experience.

Went in store to see what furniture I was leaning towards for my new office. Decided to pull the trigger and instead of heading back in or order online, I called the Rancho Mirage store. Quentin was my sales associate and I asked a few questions that were important to me like if I order online or in store which would be delivered faster. He said, if its in stock in the store, then it can scheduled for delivery right away. So, I ordered my entire office furniture with Quentin over the phone! He was amazing to work with. Followed up a lot and was great to work with! Highly recommend Scandinavian Designs!

We were very pleased with our purchase from SD. Scott was very helpful in our selection of the furniture especially the Voss sectional. SD offers a great selection of modern furniture and home accessories plus the service was exceptional. The delivery service was on time and they worked to place the pieces in different areas of the house plus they took all the cartons and packaging materials away. We purchased a beautiful table and 10 chairs along with a sideboard. Scott our sales person in Palm Desert was very helpful. The table arrived and the leaf had a small damaged edge. They left the product for us to use and replaced it in a very timely manner. Very good experience!

Simply a great shopping experience. A large, ultra clean, modern showroom with staff ready to serve but not hover.The product line is great quality & while some of the Designer pieces reflect the premium they are generally worth the price and become family pieces that survive trends.Otherwise fairly priced for the quality and the service.Note watch or read carefully their Return Policy . Tends to be a bit narrow compared to the Amazon style.

Wonderful place for top quality furnishings. The staff introduces themselves and then lets you roam free without hovering over you the whole time. We looked at everything and sat on the couches we liked. Then once decided we went to our salesmans desk and he answered all our questions and even negotiated a lower price. This place is awesome. Top quality furniture. Not for budget minded customers like the other big box stores.

Special ordered a couple of lamps for us and the customer service was excellent. Ended up taking one lamp back that wasnt right for us and they took it back without any problems.

This place has beautiful, unique, stylish and reasonably priced furniture. We really enjoyed our visit to the store thanks to Jordan who provided exceptional customer service! He made sure to check in on us frequently but wasn’t overbearing. While we ended up having to place our order online, Jordan was still happy to walk us thru the process and determined the shipping fees. We can’t wait to receive our Celeste rug, Wynne swivel chair, and Karsten barstools!

Our entire house is filled with furniture from Scandinavian Design.Our most recent purchase was recliners, tables, and entertainment center for my husbands cave. Furniture arrived earlier than we anticipated and was set up by the drivers. We are completely satisfied!

What an incredible showroom of great design!!! We were able to find unique pieces for many parts of our home. Jordan was a huge help to us and the consummate professional. I wasn’t easy! I kept adding things - changing because I sized wrong, etc. He handled everything without complaint - issued refunds without me even asking. I am so grateful to him and the team at SD. Won’t shop anywhere else!!!

Love this store. Easy parking out front and staff that are helpful. I’ve bought a number of items there including bedspread, sofa and bookcase. All items have been beautiful and had great price points. Admittedly, I’ve been a frugal sale shopper (sofa) and gotten a high quality item at a reasonable price!Another great thing about this store is paying no shipping and having it delivered to the store, where I can load into my car. Saves money on high shipping costs!

This is my favorite furniture store in the desert. Beautiful designs in different price ranges, some is a lot less expensive than it looks. This is not bland furniture that most stores sell. Everything in the showroom reflects good contemporary taste.

The store is roomy enough that one can see close-up the items for sale. Good quality of merchandise is offered and the staff is friendly and helpful without pressure to buy. I bought multiple items and between a display item and others that had to be ordered, there was no problem of picking all the items up at the same time when all had arrived. When I had questions there was help immediately available and when I wanted to just look some more around there was nobody hovering. It really was a pleasure to shop at Scandinavian Designs.

Alan was very easy to work with! He is always onto of this when you need him. The staff is also very versed and easy to communicate with too. No attitudes and great professionalism.

Excellent selection of unique, contemporary furniture and furnishings at fair prices. Customer service is knowledgeable and personable, without being annoying. The showroom is a visual treat and we have found ourselves returning again and again as we furnish our new home.

Alan was very helpful and always on top of it when needed. The only thing I would say that needs some customer service training is their delivery personnel. They don’t seem very friendly or attentive, upon our delivery they seem to have an attitude problem.

We had bought a table from them and we have a minor problem with it. We have been to the store and they said someone would call and nobody did. We have called them numerous times and we cant talk to anyone you have to leave a message. Nobody has called. So if you buy something there you better make sure it doesnt have a problem because you will never get any help from them.

We purchased a new dining room table and chairs, a beautiful living room rug and great cabinet for our entry hall. The service was so wonderful, I took my girlfriend over and she purchased new living room couch & Chair, dining room and kitchen tables and chairs for her house. Wish I had the money to redo the office and bedroom. Will have to wait until next sale

Recent transplant from Bay Area to Palm Springs. Needed furniture and three sofas later from Scandinavian Designs ...( different issues) They had no problem with any of my returns. They truly were trying to make me happy. I didn’t want to be that guy who returned something....but I was. Over the last few years we have purchased a number of furniture pieces and accessories from Scandinavian and in particular, Quentin. Service has always been stellar and the items have all been excellent quality. The one problem we did have, was taken care of immediately and cheerfully. They are first rate!!

I purchased a floor lamp that had a cool LED light that extended from the light and the bulb burned out after 2 months.I emailed from the company website about a replacement bulb and had a prompt reply from headquarters that they would replace the entire unit.It was unexpected and much appreciated. I returned my lamp and got anew one, no questions asked.Service, a dwindling commodity in these days.Thanks Scandinavian Design.

This store has really nice contemporary furniture at a reasonable price. We furnished 1/2 of our house with their furniture, including tables and chairs for our dining room, breakfast nook, and patio. They also have nice wall art, clocks, and lamps. You get very good value at this store.

Ive been shopping at various Scandinavian Design stores for about 30 years. Recently, I had to place a rush order by email for more than a dozen items that had to be delivered in less than a week. The sales and delivery people were phenomenal about getting me everything I needed, assembled, and in place in record time.

The staff at Scandinavian Designs in Rancho Mirage was extremely helpful in assisting me to choose the furniture and area rug to compliment my mid-century modern home in Palm Springs. They have an incredible showroom display of MCM furnishings. I will certainly be revisiting their store in the near future.

We have been very pleased with everything we have purchased at Scandinavian Design, as well as what we bought when it was still Plummers. I am typing this while sitting in the best computer desk chair I have ever owned, after finishing lunch at our great dining room table, while the dog sleeps in his favorite spot on the living room sofa.

This place changed my view of Ikea forever. If you want true blue Scandinavian design furniture then look no further. Office sets to die for! Bed sets thatll make you feel like youre in Amsterdam. The material is of great quality and stature. Prices are absolutely resonable. I would stop here before making your next Ikea haul.

Overall pretty interesting store, although I am not sure their very high prices match the quality of (some of ) their furniture. Some very original pieces, and some that seem to be very cookie cutter, when compared to other shops around the Coachella Valley.
