They agreed to a very favorable deal for me when I ordered it and honored that deal when it finally came in even in light of the very different situation surrounding new car availability. Ive dealt with this dealership a number of times now, for service and purchased two vehicles. Before meeting Santa Margarita Ford I hated Stealerships, I avoided them and even paid more at times from 3rd party services so i didnt have to go in and play games all day. These guys made my last two cars easy and reasonable to buy. The service team was actually honest the times i dealt with them as well.

I just picked up my truck from service. I was not greeted by anybody in the service department. I also had to wait 30 minutes for them to retrieve it. Without my knowing, they were washing it and neglected to dry it completely. When it finally pulled up, the runner exited the vehicle without acknowledging me, left the door open, the engine running and walked away. Wow!

Fantastic Service. I have had my 1012 F150 Lariat serviced there since new and this last service at 157,000 miles made t run like new again. These vehicles today are very sophisticated and require genuine Ford trained mechanics and techs, it does make a difference.

I absolutely love Santa Margarita Ford and would recommend to anyone.A little over a year ago I came to this dealership to look for a car that would provide a bit more space, since my kids are involved in sports we really needed more leg room, and truck space.Before I came here, I always had very painful experiences with dealerships. I’d get haggled, feel pressured, pushed to make a deal and made to feel as though that was the only deal I’d be able to get, etc. BUT when I came to SM Ford, the experience was quite the opposite.I’ve always been told to never ever go alone to a dealership because I’ll get a bad deal...and they may be true for some places but not here. I walked onto that lot with my 2 kids in tow, and we were not pushed, or pressured at all from the moment we arrived. I was listened to, treated with respect and patience. The people I worked with related to me, treated me with fairness and worked hard to ensure that I drove off with a great experience and with the perfect car.I can honestly say, I don’t think I ever want to go anywhere else. I’ll be directing all my friends and family there, and be going back if I ever want to get another vehicle! Oh—their service department is great as well!

Dropped off my car this morning at 7:40 they just drove it to my house to drop it off it’s 3 o’clock they did a full synthetic oil change and 100,000 mile tuneup including Throttlebody cleaning fuel injection flush coolant flush upper intake manifold gasket replacement spark plugs coil boots etc. I didn’t even have to get out of my car when I dropped it off someone ran out grab my information asked if I needed a ride home and when I told him I couldn’t pick it up because my wife was working they sent someone to drive the car back, With another employee in a different car following. Handed me my receipt my keys, and thanked me for my business. In all my years of owning mustangs never had a service so efficient and quick and easy

I had a very positive experience. They follow up, as good sales people do, but they dont keep pressing you so I didnt feel pressure. They led with good terms, rather than a quote high, watch them buy mentality, and I felt good about the terms I agreed to. They gave me space to look at and consider different options, rather than direct me in any way. Everyone was courteous and responsive. I am extremely disappointed in the service department at this dealership. I had an appointment and upon my arrival, I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to speak to me. Once they did, the person that helped me was completely unhelpful. He insisted on having my oil changed when that was NOT the reason I took my car in. Once I explained the reason for my visit, the tech proceeds to tell me that I would have to leave my car for a day or more to have it looked at. LOOKED at! Not to repair a problem once it was found but only to be looked at. When I asked why, he explained that they had a lot of cars to work on. I then ask what the point is of scheduling an appointment and he started to try to spin some story and I just left. So in essence, all they did was waste my time. I drove from Laguna Niguel, took time off work and was fed nothing but nonsense. I should mention that my other vehicle is a BMW and the difference in service is unbelievable. Hey, service manager, why dont you to one of their dealerships and learn a thing or two about how to treat your clients.

They called and set up my service appointment. Once there, the made it super easy and very professional. This is how customers should be appreciated and dealt with. They are my dealership from now on.

I had my first service on my Ford Escape 2020. My service rep is Duane Litz. He got my car in right away and it was done under the estimated time. When I picked my car up it was washed and cleaned and looks brand new. Also I was having some issues on how to work some of the features on the car. So one of the reps name George sat in the car with me explained everything. The next day I had an issue with the hood on my car with some marks that were not their fault but mine. I took my car in and talk to George and he brought Duane out to my car and within minutes they had it buffed out and I was on my way. The service there is outstanding and I’m very happy with it. They did give me a complimentary car wash, so that was great.

Majority of purchase was done online. Less than 2 hours in the dealership to pick-up. Original purchase price quoted, payment amount, and trade-in offer didnt change 1 penny! Friendly staff, clean and modern dealership. I drove almost 60 miles from Los Angeles to Rancho Santa Margarita Ford to purchase my vehicle. Due to the industry-wide shortage of vehicles, dealerships are marking-up MSRPs and charging for dealer installed add-ons. RSMF only had a minimal mark-up and no add-ons!For an example, I wrote Huntington Beach Ford regarding basically the same truck and was quoted a $10,000 markup and had some add-ons to put it $12,000 above MSRP!I drove to Citrus Ford in Ontario and it was a waste of time! They upped their price once I arrived, said there was no rebate (B.S. it was on Fords website), and marked the vehicle up for security devices and door edging. Plus they lowballed my trade by $3,000 !I would recommend RSMF not just for pricing and online sales, but for their integrity. Also the fact that the dealership Backs the Blue!

Brought my 2016 Explorer in for servicing for a second time to RSM Ford. My vehicle was overheating on a recent trip to Arizona and it was discovered a grill shutter and motor were bad, causing a restriction to the airflow. My Service Tech Sal Preciado called and advised the part was not covered under my premium Ford Extended Warrantee Plan. Not satisfied with Fords response, I contacted the Prior Approval Dept of Ford and pleaded my case.Ford advised the part may be considered Potentially Covered but needed the Service Tech to make contact and provide added details. I reached out to Sal and let him know Fords response. Sal spent nearly an hour on the phone with Ford and was able to get the part covered under warrantee! Talk about going above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience!My sincerest gratitude goes out to Sal and RSM Ford. Showed up for appointment to drive the MachE. Acted like they never heard of me. Car not available to drive. Tried to blame the mixup on me. Awful customer experience. Made me wonder how Ford expects to compete against Tesla which I did test drive earlier the same day.

What a great experience we had yesterday at Santa Margarita Ford! All the people we worked with were professionals who know the products and made the decision to lease (as opposed to buying) easy and fun. We came after we struck out at Carmax (too many people, too few cars) we left Carmax drained and frustrated, got back in our car, and started looking online for the car we really wanted (we were thinking a recent model Ford Edge) anyway, we found a listing on the SMF website that interested us - we went there, and were very glad we did. Our sales consultant Matt knew his stuff...it turned out they had several Edges in stock we liked, we got to test drive all of them - and we ended up LEASING a brand new 2020 Edge ST (absolutely beautiful) - and the numbers worked out better for us than BUYING a 2017 or 2018 Edge! By the way, there is another Ford dealership (I wont drop the name) close by this one - and they are marking up their new cars 3000 to 5000K OVER THE LIST PRICE right now due to the scarcity of new 2021 cars (an issue related to covid?) anyway, Im happy to say, this dealership is NOT participating in this reprehensible practice. This place is kind of a small, more intimate place than some other Ford dealers weve been to - its kinda got a Mom and Pop vibe. All the guys we worked with were super nice, and patient as I ask ALOT of questions...Anyway, if youre in the market for a new or used car, give these guys a chance. We couldnt be happier! I NEVER buy a car on the first visit to a dealership, but somehow I did this time, with zero buyers remorse. That sale would have normally not happened on that night. Always efficient service. I bought my car here. I make an early appointment and they finish in an hour and a half while I wait. Been doing this for 5 years.2021-bought a used car from Shift and Sirius XM wouldnt connect. Took it in and they diagnosed with no charge. Now to get Shift to take care of the $1,000 repair which they seem to be on top of.

Just purchased an expedition from sm ford and am very delighted. Michael, the new guy from chicago helped my wife and I out and we appreciate him very much, as well as the rest of the team. I literally locked all three keys in the car within 2 hours of buying the car trying to set up a new code for the keyless entry and calls right before closing on Sunday and R.C. was able to run the VIN and get the stock code. I literally just waxed my beautiful new car, I was three beers deep and the car was parked half in and out of my garage... So I appreciate the help and the new car, and the trade in, and the service department for help on my other fords.
