MR TIRES in reading has one of the most kindest staff. I take my car there for everything. They are helpful and really go the extra mile. They are always willing to get me scheduled in and if something is not right ALWAYS ALWAYS MAKE IT RIGHT ABOVE AND BEYOND.

I will never ever step in again!! The worst service center which I ever visited. I did oil change service in the month of August and my next due is after 7500 miles. After 1500 miles indicator started showing up for oil change and after some 1000 miles I started hearing some noise from engine and I check my oil level and I got shocked literally zero oil in my car. Then I have to top up the oil. If I didn’t notice the oil level I would have ended up in worst situation. And one more experience while doing state inception the person in the reception was very rude and said since he have to leave by 12pm he can’t do the inspection even though I got the appointment for 11am.I will never ever suggest this service center. Is there a way to give zero start I would have given that .

I was at Mr Tire on Saturday and even though they seemed pretty busy, the man up front was patient enough to explain to me what was wrong with my vehicle which is not normal! I really appreciate this because no one usually does this. They all were wearing masks and I felt super comfortable with them working on my car. Would definitely recommend this place to everybody!!!!! Good quality service!!!! I left with a smile on my face!

Called this place needing a new tire that unexpectedly blew out on me. It was 4:30 on a Sat when I called and the guy told me if I had my car there by 5 he would fix it. It turned out to just need a new valve stem, he didnt charge me a cent to fix it! Very awesome guy.

Horrible !!! Did my inspection. Needed license plate lights . Driving home and lady flags me down saying my license plate fell off my car and the lights hanging out of the area where they clip into. How hard is it to reinstall a plate and clip lights in properly ??? Imagine all the mess ups they do on other peoples cars .. never taking my vehicles back to this shop ever again !!!

The employees at the Reading George ST. LOCATION WERE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS and kind. I will go no where else for tires. What a wonderful experience.

Took brand new rims and tires here to get mounted and balanced. There was a bit of a problem with communication, however they took good care of my rims and also took money off the bill for the mix up so I still give it 5 star and would use again

Solid mechanics work there. The BOSS is A okay. My truck is driving smoothly now. And my tires will only need to be filled during extreme weather changes.

Very kind and courteous with fast service, but not one of the employees inside were wearing a mask during a global pandemic. As an immunocompromised individual taking the pandemic seriously, I was extremely uncomfortable and anxious while waiting because of it.

We have been having our vehicles serviced here for several years, from oil changes & inspections to tires, brakes and more. We tried out a local shop about a mile away, thinking wed support a small family business, but quickly realized the experience wasnt what we get at Mr. Tire. Sam is always friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful regardless of if we have an appointment or an emergency - and always makes a point of trying to help us get the best possible prices. I have & will continue to bring vehicles here & recommend my family & friends to do the same. Its not often that the customer service is better & more personal at a corporate shop, Sam & his team are definitely the exception!

This destroyed a tire, bent a rim and killed the alignment.Sam, running the front desk at the Temple location was is a super friendly guy. They could not straighten a rim for safety reasons as it is aluminum. But, who would? I will need to do that at a rim shop. The car rides great. Made an appointment online and had it changed without anyone asking me. Then called to change it only to show up they were unaware I was going to wait for the car. Waited 5 minutes only to be told that the inspection person was out. Normally I have good service with this place but one mistake is the last straw. Will no longer be taking my business to this establishment. Get your s*** together Mr Tire.

My family has been going to Mr Tire Reading for years and I 1000% think they are the best around. Always have great deals and very willing to help. I’ve even recommended this facility to people I work with in Philadelphia and they all drive out to Reading for service because they have prices you can’t beat. Had a radiator replaced but when I picked up Jeep Engine light wouldnt go off. Called manager right away and said he would let the mechanic know. 5 days went by with mechanic not responding so I took it back, and manager took care of issue ASAP. Thanks Sam. I own six vehicles, ranging from a 1967 Sting Ray to a Denali pickup truck. Mr. Tire on George Street is the ONLY company I will ever deal with when it comes to tires.The managers, Kevin Franckowiak and Sam Clarke are extremely knowledgeable professionals, as well as being too nice guys.The Quality of their staff’s work has always been excellent.

Called about picking up an inexpensive tire for my car. Was quoted a good price out the door of about $73. When I got to the store I changed my mind and had the tire installed.... $29.99 installation $12.99 Valve stem kit $4.00 tire disposal $1 tire tax $4 miscellaneous shop supplies $7 PA state tax for a grand total of $128 I you think thats a great deal i feel sorry for you. C&J tire was less than $100 installed (same exact tire)

I love taking our cars to Mr. Tire. Ive been going there for years and have had 3 cars serviced by them over the past 6 years. Everything from simple oil changes, to tire replacements, not to mention their LIFETIME REPLACEMENT warranty on brakes!!! Just had my brakes and rotors replaced last month. Great place and the guys at the counter are super cool. Made fresh coffee for me last time I was in and always give me great recommendations on all my vehicles.

I had a great experience here. I made an appointment online and chose the tires I wanted. When I went in, they didnt have four of them, so they bumped me up to the tire above it in price/quality for free. The service was quick, and I was in and out of there with four tires and a state inspection. When I had a blowout after barely a year, I forgot I had purchased road hazard and brought my car here just because of the great service I remembered getting. They told me about my coverage, and it knocked nearly $100 off my bill. Will never go anywhere else for tires!

Worst place ever!!!! Downloaded a quote from the website 2 hours before I went in to get new tires. Man at the desk tried to tell me it was just for the tires when it clearly started what each amount was for. Mounting, balancing, and disposal of old tires. He tried to take advantage of the wrong woman. Dont waste your time or money.

Our Dodge Durango’s water pump blue on Sunday afternoon right before Mr. tires closing we called and the associate was very nice and professional he let us tow the SUV there and leave it until Monday morning. Me Tire opens at 9 they gave us a call at 9:10 telling us exactly what was wrong why it went bad and that he would have it fixed the same day. Very reasonably priced. We told him we weren’t going to have the money until Thursday and asked if he would charge us extra to let it wait there they said no. When other auto places do charge you to sit. So I am very happy about my experience with Mr. tire. We got our SUV back today so we didn’t have to let it sit. They returned the faulty water pump and informed us we can return it if it has a warranty. Which it does. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I was in a bind. Noticing I ran over a nail, i didn’t have much time before my tire was completely flat. Fortunately my commute took me past Pep Boys. I was saved! NOPE! They were “too busy” to fix my flat tire and sent me to Mr. Tire. Im happy they sent me here. I had a great experience. The staff immediately made room for me although they looked very busy at the time. I had my dogs with me at the time which they welcomed like they were their own. The fix took less than 20min. I highly recommend using Mr. Tire.

Excellent customer service

Been to this place twice and both times were terrible. Poor communication, extremely rude staff especially if you are a woman! Booked an inspection for both my cars over the phone and got the times approved, however, when I got there I was told we will have to see if we can get them both done(then why approve it??).They told me a part for my car would be there any minute, 3 hours later when I called they tell me they have no idea when the part will get there and my car probably wont be done until sometime next week for a job that supposedly would take 15 minutes. Will never be going back to this place.

Researched several places in the area and was more than pleased with deciding Mr. Tire. Spoke to Assistant Manager Sam before bringing in my vehicle, and he was professional and courteous. He explained exactly what they would do and gave a price for the parts and labor. Once there, Sam provided updates on the work while I waited. I would highly recommend Mr. Tire!

I put about 100 miles on my car a day while working, I deliver food and I need oil changes and repairs somewhat often. I only go to Mr. Tire. They’re affordable, the service is quick, and the staff is welcoming. I highly recommend.

Being from out of state and having brake issues, they took me in the day I called, identified the issue and fixed my brakes all within 2 hours or so. They were extremely professional and did a great job. Highly recommend them for service.

My tire blew out just a few blocks from Mr. Tire, so I pulled in. It was 30 mins before they closed, and Sam at the front desk was so kind to come out and check on me. They didn’t have my tire, but he did everything possible to help find one, and called other stores nearby to see what he could do to make sure I could get back on the road safely. He ended up being able to find me a tire, and changed it for me right then. Awesome place, trustworthy, super kind, and there for you when you need help!

I had my car towed to the facility b/c the manager promised a one day turn on tire replacement and it was a Sunday. I asked him to identify the issue with the flat tire prior to replacing it but to replace all 4 of the tires if the flat was not able to be repaired but to let me know the issue prior to completing the work. In addition, I asked the manager to keep my original tires as i wanted them back. the manager replaced all 4 tires without calling me to let me know why the one with the issue was flat and without letting me know if it could be repaired. Naturally, I was a little upset but picked up the car and paid for the service ($1,600/sport tires). When i woke up the next morning the tire with the original issue was flat again. I then asked for my original tires to be returned since he didnt give them to me when i picked up the car and he hesitated and stated they were already picked up and hauled away. I also asked him why he didnt tell me what the issue was prior to replacing the tires and he couldnt tell me but asked one of the service reps who also didnt know. later, he called me back and told me there was a slash in the tire, which is a lie because I inspected the entire outside of the tire prior to getting it towed and didnt see anything. I also asked him why the tires werent tested and inspected prior to me picking them up and he told me they were supposed to be, which they clearly werent. He then had one of his employees come pick up the tire from my house to take back to the shop for inspection at which point he found a small crack in the rim. When the employee was picking up the tire from my house he told me he never inspected them and was told to just swap out all four tires right away. The manager told me it would be $100 to repair the crack in the rim which i went ahead and did since they already had my tire and i needed my car back. Now, 4 weeks later the tire is again flat. I called them back and he said theres no possible way it is his or the shops fault and it has nothing to do with his repair of the rim or tires as the issue would have occurred much earlier. He then asked me to bring the tire to him for inspection.... Clearly i refused due to the previous issues. I took the car to the dealership and they showed me a massive crack in the same rim they had repaired and also told me the tire is fine and doesnt need to be replaced. They stole money from me and replaced a tire that was 100% fine and also improperly fixed a cracked rim. due to the replacement of the original tire (that most likely was fine) he replaced three additional tires so they would match, which cost me a total of $1,600.

Exceedingly disappointed with the customer service at the Reading PA location. Had all 4 tires replaced. I was also billed for an alignment. When I got home and looked at the bill, technicians notes clearly stated: “Alignment was all in the green. NO alignment is needed”Called the same day it happened and was told to come in for a refund. Told them we could not return the same day. They said - no problem come in when you can. Returned today, one week later, and was told -sorry we can’t refund your card because that was last week. WHAT??? They would need to mail a paper form to headquarters in order to have them issue a refund check. WHAT??? Furthermore, they were unable to provide us with a timeline of when we might see that refund check. SERIOUSLY???THE 1980s CALLED AND WANTS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE BACK!It’s bad enough that we were charged for a service not provided. However, the resulting run-around is ridiculous.Buyer beware - check your bill before you leave and if I couldn’t visibly see the new tires on my car - I’d question if the service had actually been done.Update 9/26. Refund was returned to credit card. The mis-Bill & resulting hassle was just unfortunate.

I work late and far away so it’s hard to find somewhere to change my oil on the spot. I called Mr. Tires in Reading PA around 4PM to see if they could fit me in around 6:30PM. To my surprise they accommodated me! I’ve had great experiences here in the past and it’s a comfortable environment.

I had an appointment for an oil change and they had me in and out in no time plus they replaced a turn signal bulb for me too. The price I paid was much less than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Not to mention the gentleman that checked me in and out was very courteous and friendly.

Paid to have my car checked out. Claimed there was nothing wrong with it except there was an alignment issue. My car was fine until the next day where it begins overheating. Avoid this mechanic because they will dodge the main issue of whats wrong with your car to make a quick buck.

I got to stop in this location for the 2nd time in about 3 years. Its always nice to stop in and see some friendly faces. Sam ( Manager ) was awesome. Very informative on a good tires for me to use ( I drive a lot for inspections, 180 miles + per day ). I have always enjoyed the auto shop banter and glad to see its still alive! They were pleasant and professional and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely come back for future car repair needs.

Took my car here for brakes and tires.. Thought for sure I needed brakes.. At least rear brakes, knew I needed tires for sure. Told them to put the brakes and tires on. Job was sold. After work I came to pick up my car and recieved the bill.. Which I thought would be for 4 tires and brakes.. The bill was less than expected!! They told me my brakes were fine all the way around and the rears just needed to be adjusted...plus I got a great deal on tires and installation. I would recommend anyone to stop in here.. Kevin and Sam are very trustworthy.. They dont sell you what you dont need. And the prices are very reasonable!! Ill be back and recommend this Mr.Tire to friends.

These mechanics are extremely honest and fair. We received diagnosis from a dealership and got expensive quotes. Sam showed us the “problems” and assured us there was little to worry about. Definitely recommend for tires and more!

I came here to get a flat truck tire fixed, They treated me very professionally and courteously and when I came to pick it up he said it only needed a new valve stem and he didn’t charge me anything!! So I get that a new valve stem probably cost less than five dollars, but in my book that is over and above good customer service, to do something for free. I highly recommend them and I will be back when I need new tires!

Be warned. they WILL charge you for valve stems and then not replace them. They WILL say they can install 2 tires in less than 1.5hrs from time of my arrival when I told them I was on a very tight deadline right upfront then take over 2.5hrs to do it, causing me to lose money on my haul due to missing my appointment all due to their lies. This place is a complete ripoff and should not be allowed to operate, you do NOT treat customers like this. They didnt even say they were sorry for the delay or even hurry up after I reminded them of my deadline 20 mins after the agreed time of completion had passed. Update they reached out to me telling me to call the 1-800 number which I did 3 times and left a message each time but no return call. No customer service whatsoever

While my daughter and her boyfriend were heading to meet me at the AMC theater, they experienced a tire mishap. Fortunately, Mr. Tire took efficient care of replacing a tire that a stake had just pierced. However, after the fact, it was discovered that they damaged my tire sensor in the process. I took my car back out for resolution, and after waiting 2 hours and being told they rigged together a fix and my sensor light should go off, my sensor light is still plaguing my dashboard (NEVER a problem since new car purchase). I submitted an email to corporate who told me to have someone else take care of the problem and submit an invoice which they will review. Not a promise to fix the car, but hopefully they will cover the cost to fix a problem they created which is causing me more time, more money and more headaches!!!! Stay away. Not a happy customer😡.

Sam is terrific to work with. I have been going to Mr. Tire for about two years now, and they are beyond accommodating every time I come in. Sam treats you fairly and really knows his stuff.

Ok here we go. Man at front desk is so rude!!! Waiting area is hot and nasty. My tires were not rotated as asked but they had some stupid excuse for that. Then I discovered a few days later that 3 out of 4 of my tires stem caps were missing!!

Today I noticed a problem with my valve stem. I drove directly to Mr. Tire and saw that Sam Clarke was working the front desk. I have worked with him before on different issues and he is an excellent manager. He had a mechanic fix the valve stem almost immediately. My dad then stopped by to see how it was going and had his tires rotated. This Mr Tire is a great place to come for fast convenient service.

I had a mixed experience with Mr Tire. I took my car to them after hitting a bad pot hole on 78 in Jersey. Immediately after hitting it I noticed a vibration coming from the wheel that hit. I asked the guys to check the balance, alignment, and integrity of the tire. They did not find any damage to the tire nor was the alignment out of spec. There was no mention of wheel balance in their summary. They did find that my back wheels were out of alignment so I had that fixed. So far I have been satisfied with the re-alignment.Despite their work I still felt the vibration. I had my tire/wheel re-checked at another shop. They found the wheel to be out of balance and it had a significant bend in it causing uneven wheel travel. The bend was severe enough to require a wheel rework/replacement. I am not happy that Mr Tire failed to notice these issues, especially since I asked them to check the balance.I would like to note that my bill had an arbitrary shop fee on top of the alignment cost. This shop fee makes any of their advertised prices rather disingenuous. There was a general explanation for its need but it did not make me feel any better about it.I would only recommend Mr Tire if you know exactly what you need done. They seem perfectly capable of doing routine alignments, tire fixes, and oil changes. I recommend considering other places for more complex tire/wheel issues.
