Great service always there when you need them. Yes the oil price is a bit higher than other companys but you get the services from them that you do not receive when you shop around just for low oil prices.

I have received good customer service.When I had propane tanks hooked up, the Petro guy worked hard.However, I am always surprised at how they charge far above the market rate for fuel oil and propane.

I recently bought a house and within 2 months my furnace stopped working. I called and the woman I spoke to was so nice. She asked me a few questions about the house, got me set up for oil fills, and got a tech to my house the same day. They offer a great protection plan which i purchased which made the service call free. The tech came out and fixed my issue and my hot water was back!

I am very pleased with the services I have received ..The Technician (Timothy) was so polite, and caring and knew what he was doing. He was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue very quickly. Thank you for you prompt response. We are new home owners and were very concerned about which of the many oil companies to go with. However, after talking with Romelina at Petro, we knew we didnt need to look any further. We cant begin to thank Romelina enough for her exemplary customer service, her knowledge, her concern, and for making us feel like we could be part of a family. Hence, we joined the family... the Petro Family. We originally called for a one-time oil delivery and the possibility of automatic delivery. Everyone I have dealt at Petro has provided professional, friendly service. I have had Petro out for different services since we bought our home August 2019. Jose and Jim most recently installed new propane tanks and brought our outdated and unsafe system to code plus adjusted the generator connection.They were personable, answered all questions, and provided valuable information. I would highly recommend them!

I had an air conditioning unit that was leaking. I contacted Petro and had a service technician at my home to evaluate and fix my unit within 2 hours. In all honesty, I thought it might be several days till someone could come to the house. The technician followed all CDC requirements during this pandemic which was reassuring. Thank you for the great customer service.

Called for a.no heat situation. Tech came out, checked everything thoroughly. While checking everything.out the heater began to run as normal. We looked at each other kinda puzzled, and spent the next 30 minutes shutting it off, cycling it, etc trying to get it to not run again, but it ran flawlessly. Technician stated could possibly be solenoid or pump but neither have signs of failing and tech stated he didnt want to install parts I might not need so just see.if it happens again.Very impressed with technician and found the.honesty refreshing and I would recommend Petro Home Services to.anyone, thanks Petro!

Worst customer service I have ever dealt wealth.

Beware!! Brought a house were the seller paid them in advance to clean and service the oil furnace for the new buyers after closing and they never did, I spoke to Brenda who refused to service or clean the furnace (even though they where already paid to do so) until after I committed to them for at least a year and purchased oil from them at least once, when the previous owner just had oil tank filled by them only a couple of days prior to our closing, and calling requesting the cleaning before moving in. I feel bad for the sellers who trusted and lost their money to these crooks. Theres no way Ill ever do business with this company, let alone commit to them for a whole year under their obligations.

I have been a Petro customer for years. I have always had great service from my local Petro office. Brenda at this office is an amazing employee. She seems to know what customer service is all about. She may not always be able to accomplish what you are looking to do, but always explores the ways in which may be options. A couple days ago a co-worker of mine who has 4 young children ran out of heating fuel. They were facing the weekend in below freezing temperatures. I asked Brenda to help me help them. Although she was unable to open them an account in that short amount of time, I suggested putting the costs on my bill. She was able to figure out a way to make this happen and also helped to get the delivery asap. This family did not go cold another night! This is what todays world is missing....kindness and compassion.....and great customer service! Thank you Brenda and Petro!!!

After 8 years of reliable propane delivery from Amerigas, I thought Ill try Petro based on price alone. 11 days later the safety inspector came and, of course, found a problem. My home is 12 years old and Ive changed nothing, but I get the feeling this is their game. My home was to code when it was built, but since the code changed, I have to upgrade. In other words, they are going to find something. So, now Im almost out of propane going into January and have to ask my old supplier to bail me out.In short, if youre happy with your supplier, dont switch to save a few dollars on the first fill.

Excellent customer service, the technician David is one of the best we have ever had. Very friendly and knowledgeable and our service issue was corrected very quickly. He even shared some of his carrots with our 2 dogs. Highly recommend!

Would not provide me heating oil pricing. Very sketchy!

Technicians are awesome and dont leave until the issue is fixed. Customer support is through the roof as well.

*****DISHONEST PRICING****Today I got my bill from Petro from a delivery made on 1/3/20.They delivered 160.7 gallons @ $3.549 per gallon. I gave them a call to find out why they are charging such a high price. They told me that Petro is a full service company and thats why theres such a higher price.To me that is dishonest because every company around my area are also full service company and their prices are less than $2.59 per gallon. And those are prices without contracts.I know for sure because I just had heating oil delivered to my other house in the same area in the same week. Sauder Fuel delivered 169 gallons @ $2.55 per gallon. That is a more honest Price!Sauder Fuel is also a price with automatic delivery and no price protection contract.

The technicians do an amazing job. They do their best to work with the customer knowing that things might be difficult. They understand you and you problems. I could not have asked for a better team.

My heater would not kick off because the battery in the thermostat had to be replaced and I was unable to do it. Called Petro and repairman was out in less than two hours to replace the battery and start the heater. Thank you

Great service very knowledgeable people

Instead of fixing the problem of a blocked heating coil, the service tech was trying to sell me a new furnace. So when I figured out it was my water causing the blocked coil, petro didn’t want to cover the blocked coil because they knew it was a problem in the area. So instead they offered a water softener system and an add on tank. The price 6701.00! I will not be going with this system as I’ve hired an independent for a price of 1971.11 this includes a new coil, mixing valve, installation and a hot water saver system with and expansion tank. Petro doesn’t care about its customers, your just another number and another wallet. This year I will be moving away from petro entirely, from service contracts to oil delivery and repair. I’m done with this company!

The problem was taken care of swiftly, and the man who did it was friendly and helpful in giving information and advise.

On time through and informed me of what was to be done any changes along the way .Nice to have my input on finale work done. Highly recommend.

They offered a bunch of promotions last year which I had to call a number of times to get my account credited then after having “Sid” come out to check out my furnace to make sure everything was ok (which it was) we were spending $400 a month just to keep the house about 60 degrees I had another person come out because I felt this was a lot a month. He then red taged my furnace so we canceled because they said it was going to cost an astronomical amount of money to replace the tank so we decided to convert to natural gas which was a lot cheaper. We decided to cancel petro services LAST YEAR. They called this year saying our account was never canceled and now they want us to pay $400 for an early termination fee that was NEVER told to us. This company seems to be a deceiving money grubbing company and try tactics to get you to pay as much as possible. Oh an when we had the tank removed and converted the people that removed it said there was nothing wrong with the tank. Buyers beware they will nickel and dime you at every turn. Pay close attention to your bill!!!!

Service technician arrived on time on a Sunday night. He fixed the problem quickly. From the time I called to the time he left was within an hour.

I’m not sure what happened to PetroHomeServices between 2015 and 2017 but they went from great service and no problems to the biggest mess to deal with. They tell you incorect information in sales and customer service and call constantly even after a problem on the account is resolved. Go elsewhere. I will never use this company again even though their oil and service contracts are the cheapest. The hassles aren’t worth it.

I notified them that I was out of oil. I was guaranteed a delivery would be made within 2-3 days. The final day came and went and still no oil or reason as to why it has still not been delivered.

Bad communication with customer service. Worker was supposed to wait between 15 to 20 min if we didnt answer the door for our oil tune up and the worker left before it was even 15 min. My husband stopped him as he was getting in his car told my husband sorry I already called dispatch said you werent home. And he just drove off. Very cocky attitude! My husband called Petro told them about this and that they can come back no later than 3:30 and here they arrived at that time not following instructions and we missed them. Had to reschedule again! The communication really sucks! If we could afford to wed cancel the contract and go with another oil company but its a hefty cost!

They filled my tank 11/29/19 woke up 1/02/20 with no oil called Petro technician came out and now says they can’t fill my tank due to faulty leg but they just filled it 30 days ago 🤬🤬🤬

Jose,the tech arrived on time,explained what the problem was and workedhard to fix the problem.He cleaned the area where he was working and was courteous and respectful of our property.
