I made a simple request to not refill any prescriptions until I call and request it. I asked for it to be noted on my account that I did not want auto refills. Every month CVS calls letting me know I have a prescriptions to pick up that I did not request. I have waited on hold to speak with a pharmacy staff in excess of 15 minutes.
Pharmacy doesnt administer vaccines after 5:30 pm even if you have a scheduled appointment after 5:30 pm. There is nothing stating this on their website. Schedule your vaccine at a different location.
Pharmacist and staff are nice but they seem highly understaffed because nobody answers the phone. Wait times are 20+ mins. Very frustrating
The old lady with a bad perm is rude... No customer service skills...
Answered questions about the vaccine, helpful store was in order and they were helpful.
Horrible customer service, dirty …long wait lines … rude … never coming back here again
I would give a zero star If possible I have waited for multiple hours on the phone multiple times its ridiculous
Most unreliable Pharmacy I have ever done business with. They are not willing to go any distance for their customers. If you NEED a prescription. Definitely do not depend on this location. They will not even help you find out if another location has has the capabilities to fill the prescription even after waiting for days to have it filled. Simply put, they do not have the time. Forget trying to get them on the phone, that is impossible as you can walk in on hold and there is no customers and a telephone line saying customer on hold over and over again. They refuse to answer. This location took on most of the business when CVS bought out Owens. They are uncapable of handling the task and are overburdened with work. Poor management and Corporation lead.
Unbelievable. I can still remember when a pharmacy was a helpful, caring place. But now, oh my goodness. They send you a text to tell you your perscriptions are ready. You drive there, wait in a long line, in the cold med isle, and finally you get to the counter only to be told, sorry, meds not here. They say to come back tomorrow. So, again you do.But now you have to wait for the truck to arrive. You wait in your vehicle. You finally see the truck. You give it a bit of time, go back in. Finally get up to the counter. Guess what, your meds are not there. Just as you get home, they call and put you on hold. You wait, finally someone comes on the phone and asks why you called. By now your patience have worn thin. You explain they called you. Again, give all your information, only to be told, there seems to be a problem with the insurance. apparently the computer calls you randomly. Still no meds, and of course it is Friday. This is not an isolated incident.Shameful. Time to think about changing pharmacies.
The worst pharmacy Ive ever used:Long, long lines to pick up a prescription.ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to reach a pharmacist by phone. They are too busy to ready a prescription within several hours! They do not enforce or even encourage mask wearing.
Clorox wipes 75 count for 7.99 kinda Price gouging here i was shocked by there over priced item . Winco had them for 4.59 something like that regular price, I only go to the Pharmacy there
This pharmacy is a nightmare. You have to wait for 30 min standing in line on the cold medicine isle. Sick people standing there coughing on you while inline.. I cant even get my medicine. Im baffled at this mess. Terrible place. The staff is abominable. No care given to clients. Im worried about getting sick trying to get better. Yikes!!
I have been shopping at CVS for over ten years, yes waiting prescriptions can be a problem sometimes. They are close to my home and that is the big draw for me. In the whole they are fine.
The manager here has always been very friendly and always greets uswith a big smile. He is working hard each time we go in. I recommend this CVS if you like being welcomed. Five big stars from my hubby and me!
This is the worst store as far as pharmacys go,They gave me the wrong medication for somebody else that had seizures! I put it on my tongue before swallowing & it went numb, I took it out of my mouth (ALWAYS LOOK AT YOUR MEDICATION THIS TAUGHT ME.) it was numb for about 20 minutes.Pharmacist are not supposed to make mistakes but they do & for certain this one did!! never happened before until this store, they gave me a $25 dollar gift certificate---------whoopee!!! I have been with CVS for a long time but never in this area, I hate to change stores because they have been so good at the other store in the bay area & I still phone them when ever I cant get a hold of the one here, plus on top of everything else they hardly ever answer the phones right away. This has a lot to do with management & how they are trained as far as answering phones go.The other store is twice as busy with only 3 working & always tell you when they answer the phone, how many people are ahead of you, this is called, courtesy & respect for the customers.
Why tf does this cvs in particular close so early???
CVS on Cypress Ave., Redding CA Their 1-800 number called me 3 times on different occasions saying my Rx is ready for p/u every time I go there I have no meds ready for p/u and their workers are not knowledgeable I saved the message and have them listen to it. This is not the only problem I have with this pharmacy it’s time for me to switch pharmacy.
CVS gave me a refill of a very old prescription from a doctor I no longer go to, instead of the new prescription my present doctor called in. They insisted that my current doctor called in the refill prescription. I called her on the spot and she said she did no such thing. Then they tried to make me pay for 90 days of the prescription, instead of the 30 day amount my doctor prescribed. They said my insurance company will only let them give 90 days worth. Another lie. Finally I got them to give me the correct prescription and correct amount.Do not go to this CVS. They will argue with you, and deny they did any wrong. If you insist on going there, then have your doctor write down the type of medication you have been prescribed, and the amount, BEFORE you pay CVS for the prescription. Cross reference it with what CVS hands you. This will protect you from taking the wrong meds and suffering the results.
I can tell you, when cvs bought owens, they were, are SO NOT PREPARED TO DO IT EFFICIENTLY. The wait time for phone calls, wait time in lines, the pharmacy has actually RUN OUT OF CERTAIN MEDICATIONS, UNABLE TO FILL PRESCRIPTIONS.... If you do not have to go to cvs DO NOT, NONE OF THEM.
MEH!...Not the greatest place to dumpster dive
Whenever I get prescriptions filled here, the staff has always been pleasant to deal with. For a Big Box pharmacy, they dont act like it.The Pharmacists seem to care for their customers. Ive had no issues here.
This is the slowest pharmacy ever.. they never answer their phone. The amount of time I spend waiting for someone to answer the phone I could have driven there and back! And the wait in line is ridiculous every time I need to pick up prescriptions. I dread having to call or go into to their pharmacy but unfortunately it’s the pharmacy I have to use because of insurance.
Supper nice and helpful. I had a bad flair up okie dokie gout. Was an hour away from store, with only 10 minutes till they closed. Daughter could pick up prescription if they would fill it for me and she got there in time. They worked with me nicely. So appreciative! Got my meds.
Extremely high-priced items in the store. Longest wait for prescription fill of any of the stores. Darkly lit parking lot at night and not a very safe place is the number of homeless with no security provided.
If CVS was not my preferred provider for prescriptions, I would change my pharmacy. The pharmacist takes his dinner break when people are coming in after work to pick up their prescriptions. How inconsiderate to their customers. And if it is new, they will not give it to you without talking to a pharmacist. EVEN if you have taken a drug for years and transfer to CVS, they wont give it to you unless you talk to the pharmacist. HOW STUPID!
Horrible. Ive been shopping here for over fifteen years. You would think that they might know you. And as pharmacist they might know what prescriptions you take and how long youve been taking it. No. Sean Stafford is never wrong, is in capable of admitting any error on his part and is very aarigant. He talks to customers as if they were drug attics and stuffs. Will after reading these reviews Im not alone in my feeling and frustration. He shoved my prescription across the counter at me as said have fun getting this filled pal. Well Im not his pal and I did get it filled. At rite aid. And have not moved all my prescriptions to them. Between my wife and I this amounts to somewhere around $3500 a month. Well Sean I did find someone to fill my prescription. Oh yeah. I just had major back surgery in March and he not only refused medication that my doctor says I needed, and Sean just a reminder youre not a doctor. He Also broke HIPPA laws and Im contacting an attorney along with the state pharmisutical board about the abuse Ive received.
If it werent for the Rx insurance I have, I would run to this CVS. They had long lines, but they kept moving along and my Rxs were always filled accurately. Pharmacists and employees were friendly and I am seriously considering another Medicare D insurance company for 2019. If CVS owns Aetna, I will be going there next year. Walgreens, across the street, Churn, is causing me so much stress that I extremely stressed out to the point of needing to take a Xanax before going there.
Worst in Redding! I was with Owens and was transferred to those jokers! Never again!
The wait at pharmacy is terrible. Average time in line for pickup is 15+ minutes. Outrageous!
Convenient yet time-consuming especially the drive-thru
Budget 45 minutes to pick up a prescription already filled.
People are rude at pharmacy never have it right and then argue with you when your telling them it wrong!
Long wait line
Love CVS
Horrible service and disgusting store. I will never return.
