Made it into the new store today for their grand opening! it was a cartload of deals and my only complaint was the aisle signs were a bit on the small side. Very easy to read for me as you were walking down the aisle, but standing at the end of the aisle looking down it was kind of hard to get the details. Being a new store I wasnt familiar with everything but really enjoyed the layout. I didnt get one picture this time! But I will be back I am sure before the end of the week!And I was.. tried the rotisserie chicken and it was incredible!UPDATE: I tried their bakery today to get a cake. Dawn was very accommodating and helped me with getting everything I needed packaged and ready for transport to my daughters birthday. She also recommended getting some of their new cookies, The cherry infused chocolate cookies are unbelievable! Thank you Dawn for your extra care and recommendation! Everything was a huge success!

When they started raising prices I understood because the state of the country right now.But when they started mixing regular food with similar packaging in with dietary restricted foods, i wont go here anymore.Now I have a sick family because YOU, the store, prioritized money over people.For example: if the section is non-dairy but they have a dairy product with similar packaging to the dietary restrictive products snuck in the row. Just to get people to buy the wrong thing, nice Planographing.I can go a mile down the road and get the things I need at half the price. You couldnt pay me to shop here again by choice.

Ive only been to this save mart a few times and I the store to be comparable to other stores on prices of some things, and other things they had an amazing deal on and you could save some good money. They have a bakery, smoothie bar or station ( things that are blended) deli, fish market or station. I didnt find the layout of the store to be the best for finding your needs without walking over the entire store.

Great! Friendly people, fast services in ALL areas of the store. Great selection in produce. In the meat department they will cook up some meat - your choice and season- your choice.Loved the bar and deli.

A clean, great store to shop in, but wait... theres so much more there: get your meat bbqd while you shop! Hand made ice cream sandwiches! Pick up some flowers for your sweetheart! This places has it all, except a pharmacy. Its also really close to other good shopping, definitely check it out.

The best supermarket Ive ever seen! Their staff is great, their fruits & Vegetables are beautiful, fresh as well as a huge variety. Fruit, Salsa, Salad, bar, as well as an amazing Deli, Bakery, section with every kind of salad you can ask for - Broccoli, Pasta, vegetable mixes, Shrimp, Crab etc.. Also a Butcher/Smoker/Grill, where you can buy meats and vegetables purchased cold with EBT, Then they will grill it for you free! Can you believe that. Thats going above and beyond!

Awful service. Every time Ive gone in here Ive been met by rude, unpleasant staff members. The manager is dismissive and does not seem to care about his customers. Ive had a few nice clerks, but they are a rarity. One gentlemen at the store meat section / cafe (?) was pleasant to deal with, and cooked me the best fillet of salmon Ive had in a long time. I have done my personal best to be nice to the staff here, but it is clear that the majority of them do not care about giving patrons a good experience.Ive asked them to separate orders, only to be met with attitude. Ive been completely ignored by store personnel despite trying to get their attention. One clerk raised her voice at me for using my own bag, which is apparently against store policy.In terms of pros, the store is very clean. Its open, with a nice, easy to navigate layout, and a good selection of product. The outdoor seating arranged is a nice idea, as is the indoor restaurant, and the option to get your meat cooked in store. Ill hand it to them, that they do keep it well organized and clean in here, so two stars for cleanliness and selection. Three stars off for the service. I hope their employees learn to be kinder to disabled persons.

Excellent bakery, deli, and meat counters and a juice bar to boot. Great produce everything you could want in a grocery store . Prices not Rick bottom but not over the top either. Self check out or cashier take your pick. Flowers and gifts and a dynamite personal care selection of shampoo, conditioners, soaps and all the assorted hygiene / toiletry requirements. Friendly staff helpful but not overly pushy. All in all a nice market experience.

These guys are awesome. Not many know that you can buy produce here and take it to the counter and they will prepare it for you. Fruits veggies its awesome. The ppl are nice and professional

If there were more meat/marinade options would be 5 stars. As a whole the shopping experience is good, solid selection, and good prices. The restaurant inside is awesome. Delicious food, huge portions, and great beer selection. The nachos are a must!

My shopping experience was ok. The clerk who checked me out was great. She was super pleasant. The prices are a little high which is a little surprising since the name is Save Mart? But ultimately I am extremely disappointed. I bought boneless skinless chicken thighs that had a sell by date of 6/28, I bought it 6/23. On 6/24 I noticed an odor in my fridge and couldn’t figure out what it could be. I never suspected this chicken because it wasn’t at its sell by date. But today I realized it was this chicken I was going to cook tonight and it is slimy and rancid. So now I’m out over $8 and my whole refrigerator smells. So now I get to try to get that smell out of my refrigerator and house. Plus I have to throw out all the foods that absorbed this odor!After receiving my email the guest services Manager reached out to me and offered to reimburse me for the chicken. She is very friendly and I appreciate that they care. I am adjusting my 2 star to a 4. Thank you!

Save Mart is such a wonderful shooping center its very customer oriented and has so much to choose from at first I thought it was going to be one of those organic better than everyone else places but its not well it has that factor for those who wish to embrace it but it also has many other good characteristics that you dont get from other big stores love that you can have your food cooked while you shop.

I absolutely love The Tipping Point! The food is affordable and delicious. The store has so many great deals and a wonderful selection.

Im super surprised that the rating is only 3.8 when Im writing this! Save Mart is one of my favorite stores in town. The first time I went was when they did the social distancing fireworks during the pandemic. Its very clean and quiet. The employees are friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to give you tips about shopping there and getting the most out of the experience. Their selection of produce and deli/premade/bakery foods is great. You can get coupons and rewards on the app too. Five stars.

Beautiful store, super clean, lots of food, terrible pricing. I only go here when I want a little brighter grocery shopping experience and just need a few things. If the prices werent so terrible Id make this my one stop shop.

Absolutely amazing grocery store, very inviting. Only issues I have noticed are the brand new, newly built restrooms are all touch required, the sinks, toilets, towel dispensers, hand dryers, everything in the restrooms require to touch the surfaces. Very disappointing for a building that was just BUILT, especially during a viral pandemic. Also, the parking lots cart return racks are a nightmare, with two different cart designs available, as soon as more then one type of cart is put in the same rack, it can no longer hold more and gets quickly filled. Other then those issues, it is a GREAT environment.

Im not impressed. Save Mart would indicate a better bang for your buck. Not here. I bought quick food for dinner, 8 piece fried chicken and a lb. of broccoli salad. Okay, the chicken price was right there with other grocery stores, got it. The salad, 7.98 per lb. I thought it must be a very good salad, they think highly of it to give it that price tag. Well, I should have had a taste before I bought it. Seven Dollars and Ninety-Eight Cents went into the garbage. I live too far away to just run back there to complain.Browsing through the store I did see quite a variety of items that you might not easily find elsewhere but again; Prices. I dont think I will shop there much if at all.

Delious selection of prepared foods! Hot and cold foods are reasonably priced and delicious nice break from having to eat out since we are evacuated from our home.

Hands-down my favorite grocery store in Redding. Off add prices can be fairly high, so watch for deals. Phenomenal fresh fruit and vegetable selection. A huge bonus is they will slice up any fruit or vegetable and package it for you for no extra charge. The deli and prepared foods are also quite impressive. Meats can also can be marinated and cooked for you while you shop. Don’t miss the beer and food garden. Friendly staff and an upscale shopping experience make this a recommend for me.

EXCELLENT new store which is always clean and pleasant to shop in. I highly recommend the Tipping Point- the little bar right to the left as you walk in. My husband swears by the two tacos and I always get the chiabatta trip-tip sandwich when we go there. My absolute favorite thing though, they make some of the best fire-roasted tomatillo salsa I have EVER had! Highly recommend this place for good fresh food. Several deli, fruit, vegetable, smoothies, ice cream, bakery, meats and sandwich stations throughout the store- but of course your stop isnt complete without making a stop inside their walk-in beer cooler. So many beers to try...

We live so close this is our go to for quick last minute items. Good selection, friendly staff, decent prices. There are less expensive grocery stores around (Winco) that we hit when we do the entire shopping list. But we’re here at least once a week for various items.

Ive had several issues my items being ringed up for more than what is advertised. I get it every once and awhile but it happens every other time I go in for all types of items. Pay attention because alot of there prices are mislabled and its already an expensive store!

I love how clean and tidy this site is! Ill revisit this place if I need something specific like lemongrass, specialty cheese, or organic purple potatoes, but for the mundane, day-to-day items Ill stick with my local grocers due to cost and convenience. I saved on some items but overpaid on others, so it may not be worth the 20 minute drive. That being said their service deli looked amazing!

Cant say enough how much my family loves their produce and fresh fish. The layout of the store makes things easy to find and is fairly spacious. Everything is being kept very clean so far. There are a few less healthy grocery staples that we cant find at save mart but otherwise Im really happy with their products. Some of the cashiers are good, others less so.

Store is always clean and no matter how busy the associates are they always at least acknowledge the shopper. The selection here varies greatly and the shopper is able to find almost anything they need. My wife and I go here often. It is easily our store of choice. The cooked food options are also the bomb we love their selection and their prices are hard to beat. Their prices on normal grocery items may be a little high but they also have awesome deals.

Honestly, the people there are amazingly awesome, polite and helpful.........The only reason its 4 instead of 5 was the pricing. I absolutely love their deli and bakery items. Oh, and their prepared sushi is phenomenal, for being not a restaurant.

Have shopped here a few times. Will continue to shop here, though not every trip to the grocery store. I like that the store is very clean. They have a good produce and bakery section. Prices are not bad. For my shopping needs, I found some things a little more expensive and other things a little less expensive. The store doesnt stock some things I purchase on a regular basis. But, overall, a good place to shop with friendly service and hardly any waiting at checkout.

The meat selection was great but run to Walmart for toiletry items like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant etc. BRING YOUR OWN BAG unless you want to gather your groceries off the sidewalk like myself and one others had to do! Cheap bags they offer!

We like a lot of their savemart brand stuff. Other wise, they get pretty pricey. We use them primarily for their meats, and for the tipping point

1st time there I felt like a kid in a candy store. Their food selection is massive! Well worth the drive from Red Bluff

I enjoyed shopping at Save Mart...everything in the produce section was fresh and well kept...I really wanted California Sushi Rolls and this sweet lady just walked in to start her shift and without hesitation she made 3 of them for me...and with a pleasant smile I must add...I understand that the employees that work in that department isnt employed by Save Mart, but she was worth mentioning😊..the gentleman that checked me out was very sweet...and so was the girl that bagged my groceries...with customer service like that, I felt welcome and appreciated...Nice😊

The cooked tri tip is really good and the customer service, that I have received by every single employee that has assisted me, is top notch and excellent. The complete store is so well stocked and by far the cleanest of any super market in town. It is not at all close to my house, but well worth the drive.

I love the store, the atmosphere, the quality of produce and meat but it is more expensive than other grocery stores in town. I couldnt believe how much better their meat tastes than other grocery stores in town.

Great place to shop. Theyll cut your fruit and cook your meat while you shop around the store (for free).They have the best chicken tenders im town and a great deli as well. Price wise, theyre on the same par as Safeway, but with a more service-oriented staff. Not that Safeway is bad, but Save Mart is just a little better.

The employees and the assistant manager are very rude to there costumers. Ive been shopping there since they have opened without any problems the are usually kind to the people that c as not wear mask but on thanks giving morning they followed me and my wife through the store while we grabbed a few last minute items for Thanksgiving, when we got up to the cashier they said WE HAVE TO WEAR A MASK ITS THE LAW I told him I am exempt because of breathing issues so they proceeded to check us out and about halfway through the manager remotely cancelled our transaction and said if we cant fallow the laws we are not welcome to shop there. Tried explaining to him it is not a law just a simple mandate witch it is as choice to follow or not. Long story short I will never shop there again. And the word is out to the patriot community they will never shop there again as well.

I am glad that they opened, it has made emergency runs to get missing dinner ingredients much quicker now that i dont have to drive more than 8 miles to get what I need. They also have an amazing meat department, I need to try some of their preseasoned steaks and ribs.

Only one product I miss is Tillamook Sour Cream....The staff are ALL very courteous, friendly and helpful.Cortina and Joshua (sp)checked me out, unloaded my cart, packed everything up and loaded the bags in my car.I was reminded they could shop for me by going online, or with me in the store so I didnt have to pick heavier items up.Dealing with a healing back, I am humbled by the kindness shown to me when I shop in this store.Thank you. Ah, SaveMart. This was my favorite grocery store when I lived elsewhere, so I was thrilled when they opened in Redding. Always consistent quality and cleanliness, and always great meat and produce selections. I live in McCloud and take the extra effort to make the more than one hour drive to Save Mart for my major grocery shopping.

Here we go, a solid 4 stars for a good grocery store with most of the items one could want or need, from packaged foods to fresh fruits and veg, meats and beer and wine, its pretty decent. The aisles are wide spaced, the selection is good, the parking lot is huge. Only reason not 5 stars is that sometimes the place looks a wee bit picked over, as in low stock of fruits or veg (some actually not fit to sell) or a little jumbled array of shelf goods.The people are friendly, efficent. Maybe they just need more hired hands. Again, I do like this store. Very convenient near freeways, gas stations and other shops.
