The customer service both in the office and out in the field has been excellent. When I ran out of propane they were quick to fill my tank and restart my pilot light. I would recommend Ed Staub and Sons Petroleum to friends and family. They care about their customers.

The technician that came to install our propane tank was super friendly and knowledgeable in what he was doing. He took the time to explain how things worked and gave some safety suggestions to make our instillation better.

They are awesome and always have the lowest prices. We own our tank so I would shop prices for a fill up and they were always the cheapest and I could count on them to be prompt.

Ed Staub & Sons is simply the BEST propane service in Oregon. They are 100% on time to my schedule deliveries to keep my tank up for during some of our brutal winters. And when I do run out early one call and they are out and I’m back in business. My tank is not even convenient for the delivery driver, but they dutifully unroll hundreds of feet of hose to not drive the trucks on my lawn and fill the tank. They do it whether I’m there or whether or not and even if I’m there I don’t even know that you’re there doing it. It’s amazing if you don’t use Ed Staub &Sons, you’re going to wish you had at some point. Take my word for it.

Everyone we have dealt with has been professional, knowledgeable, and super helpful. We contacted three companies to get propane for our new house, and Ed Staub was the only one that seemed to understand our needs. They have been great to work with.

We have photos from a couple of years ago when we had an extraordinary amount of snow that year. It was so deep that we had to dig a trench from where our driveway began over to where the tank was located. Ed staub & sons still managed to get out here with the fuel we needed no matter how deep the snow was that day and they did a great job We really appreciated it!

I called to get pricing on filling our propane tank. The price quoted was a lot less than what we were paying another company. The entire staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. I dealt a lot with Brittany who went above and beyond and was very patient answering my questions. Setting us up as new customers went very smooth, and a tech came out to inspect our tank. He had to make upgrades to it and was very timely but not rushed then explained what to do if we changed out any of our appliances, etc. He left a folder about the company, propane and what was done to our tank.We got our first delivery of propane on a Sunday from a very friendly delivery driver. Looking forward to dealing with this company from now on.

Go somewhere else. Had account from 2015 to 2021, but they seem to take a strong stance that it was 2017 even though my first check to them was 2015. they have consistently tried to get me to purchase 7,600 in tanks even with a lease contract inplace. They showed up 4 months ago, unannounced, found them trying to take a FULL 1,000 gallon tank. When I approached them and asked what they were doing they told me I dont need the tank. I told them to leave immediately. Constantly tried to change contract after the fact of signatures in place. The so called sales manager Mike tried to strongarm me into purchasing tanks for a generator saying we dont lease tanks for generators any more. When I call from another number and as about a tank for a generator, they say no problem, $199 tank lease per year.. I guess thats for everyone else but me, I am forced to buy 7.6k in tanks. They will tell you they are not into selling tanks but their actions say otherwise. When their employees came out to remove all their tanks, they found that they originally didnt install the tanks correctly so I was plagued issues from the start, never to be fixed. The nice workers suggested that I call the regional manager jeff. I tried to explain what was going on, he didnt care in the slightest to what was going on and supporting the actions and lies of Mike and actually encouraged the mismanagement of the account.. Im done with these people..

The delivery guys often have to deal with my vehicles in the way, and sometimes I wonder how in the heck they were able to fill my tank. I had a crisis situation with an empty tank and they came within 20 minutes to fill the tank and make sure everything was flowing. Ive lived in the central Oregon area for my whole life and Ive done business with all the propane providers in the area only to be let down on service or price. Recently I switched to Ed Staub & Sons their office staff was friendly and got me set up very quickly. When the serviceman showed up he was very Knowledgable and informative. He found a leak that my old company never found and fixed it for no extra charge. I cant say enough about how impressed I was with Ed Staub!
