Very honest and fair business and I would highly recommend.My Camrys brakes were recently squeaking from time to time and my dad and I were fairly certain that we had to get the break pads replaced as a minimum. So we brought it into the shop and they did a brake inspection and found the brake pads were perfectly fine (90% left). They returned the car to us and didnt charge us for the inspection.They could have replaced the break pads as we requested. But but they didnt. An honest Shop!The shop manager Mike is very courteous and knows his job very well.

Theyre very busy, but so is everyone these days. I wasnt able to make the appointment when they first offered, so we rescheduled and they waived all the fees and gave me a free checkup/oil change. Definitely returning here for future service!

Unbelievable service. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. My toddler and I were nearby when my coolant level light went on in my Range Rover. We pulled in and AA was very prompt in getting my car checked out. They discovered the leak and repaired it. I also mentioned to them that I had been to Land Rover service center 3 times to have a rattle fixed but it still makes the noise. AA auto service was able to find and fix the rattle in a matter of an hour! I am so amazed that they found and fixed it so fast when even the dealership couldn’t. They were very efficient, professional and polite. They were also very sweet to my young son. I’ve truly never had such good of service anywhere. 10/10 would recommend. We will by bringing our cars here from now on to be serviced and repaired. Thank you so much.

Its EXTREMELY hard to find awesome and trustworthy mechanics these days - and let me say, youll find them here. I needed my car serviced, and every other repair shop Id been calling around had been booked out 2 weeks, AA Auto included. But Mike told me he didnt want me to be out of service for 2 weeks, so to come in the next morning and hed get someone to take a look at it. Long story short, they fixed my car in half an hour - and I WILL be making the trek from N. Seattle to Redmond to get my car serviced here from now on.

ABS light was all fd up on the back year tire of Jeep Wranger, Sport. They fixed it. Cleaned grease off axle. Nice work as usual.

There was initially a mix up on getting the right parts delivered and getting them delivered when promised. This was the fault of the supplier and not of AA Auto. AA Auto kept me informed throughout the parts delivery fiasco. They even reassembled my vehicle (without the new parts) so that I could use it over the weekend at no cost to me. Once the parts did arrive, they completed the job within a few hours. They found the issue with my car very quickly. I had previously taken it to another auto shop and to the dealer and they couldnt figure out what was wrong. My car now drives better than it has in years. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Please be careful here, I booked an appointment and went here for a problem in my car. And they asked to leave the car for diagnoses and got my signature in a form, and they charged more the $100 for just finding the issue and give a estimate. Later I found the estimate was also very high compared to other similar places. They should at least tell a word about this diagnosis charge before taking the keys. I felt cheated and such a waste of time.

As newcomers to the area, it was intimidating starting the search for a trustworthy, reliable auto service. Our experience with AA Auto Service was one of efficiency, kindness, and great communication. We were thoroughly impressed with their service! BUYER BEWARE assumptions instead of diagnosis and INSANE prices for work that is free elsewhere.When a customer is paying a mechanic for an accurate inspection and diagnosis of what is wrong with their car and they end up shelling out $170 for this information, they should at least be assured that the information they are paying triple digits for is in fact accurate. Not only was I dismayed to find out the diagnosis given to me by the owner Mike was completely inaccurate and not at all representative of the work that needed to be done to fix the car. The place that I did end up taking my car to in Redmond took it apart, accurately diagnosed the issue, did several hours of research, phone calls, and emails for different options of fixing the car all before calling me back and telling me that I could come pick up my car from them free of charge even thought they had already done about ten times the amount of work and effort that AA auto had charged me $170 for. This place is untrustworthy and they are out to take your money, if you still want to support small locally owned and reputable mechanics I would take my business to Dorels Auto in Kirkland.

I took my VW in due to oil dumping out from somewhere two weeks after I had just bought it. I had no idea where the oil was coming from I was super stressed out. Mike at AAA auto took care of me and fixed my car. The check engine light came back on after I picked it up and so Mike told me to bring it back. He was so honest and such a good person, that he admitted he’d missed something. It was a valve issue that was different from the first repair. He discounted the repair from 1400.00 to 300.00. As a single mom of four, he literally saved me!!!! I totally recommend Mike, and the team at AA auto!!! I will only be taking my vehicles there from now on!!

My family and I have been using this service center for years. Multiple vehicles and tons of business done with them. They are extremely professional, actually take care of you, and dont try to screw you on prices with unnecessary work. I recently brought in my f150 with a cracked manifold and was super bummed as that truck is quite literally my baby. When I went and picked it up it was like driving a brand new truck. I just wanna give a huge thanks to Mike from the office hes been there since I started using these guys and never lets me leave the shop unhappy. After completing a service with the manufacturer dealer, I was told my brakes needed replacing very soon at an extortionate cost. Having only replaced them two years ago I wasnt convinced, so sought a second opinion to make sure. A friend recommended AA Autos, so I gave them a call.After speaking with Mel, he talked me through what full replacement of brakes should cost IF they needed replacing. It was $400 less than the other quote I had. Mel also wasnt convinced given the mileage that they needed replacing right away, so offered a free consultation on the Monday. He booked it in, I was given a free loaner and they conducted the brake check for me. The conclusion? I had over 40% life left on the brakes, which could be up to a year of use. AA Autos didnt take a single cent from me, but offered a truly honest opinion which in this instance has saved me a considerable amount of money for the time being. Between Mel and Mike, theyve won a new future customer.So if youre in the market for brake work and want an HONEST mechanic, Id highly recommend you give AA a try!

Went looking for a trustworthy, reliable auto shop that wasnt going to charge BMW prices or tack on services just b/c the manufacturer said it was time. Mike and the team at AA Auto were outstanding to work with. Pleasant, professional and on time. Brought our X3 in for a 60k service. Mike explained that it needed absolutely nothing and furthermore, the prior mechanic (BMW) had neglected to reset both the brake fluid and brake replacement settings; thus BMW said it was needed but AA Auto said they were almost good as new. Rather than pay for a full 60k service at BMW, where they undoubtedly would have charged me for the above items, AA Auto charged only the labor required for the service check of the items. Congratulations AA Auto - youve won my future business for less than $130!

Had to get some expensive work done on my car. I was apprehensive about the price but Mel was happy to answer all my questions and even put in legwork to save me some money. Service was excellent and timely. Highly recommended.

These guys were super helpful. They fixed what I brought my vehicle in for while also being true to the price they gave me upfront. To top it off they even wash and sanitize your car when they are finished. Came here to get work done on a volkswagen. Staff was both helpful and kind. Serviced the car fast, and the mechanics werent short with me as they sometimes are when I poorly explain my car troubles.

These guys have earned my business and without a question I will highly recommend them as a go-to shop. I have an Audi Q5 that had an engine maintenance sign appear on the dashboard. I took it to a local Audi dealer and the car was diagnosed for a major repair need for over $4K. I then took the car to these guys with Mike for a second opinion; the car was thoroughly analyzed and was fixed with a minimal repair needed. Not only did they save me from spending over $4K in unnecessary work, but also earned my trust through great service and speed of work. They stand out and are an example for larger car dealers to follow.

Asked them to look at a pickup I wanted to purchase. They made the process easy on both the seller and my side. They sent me a detailed report on the truck for a fair price. Exactly what I needed at a time when my own mechanic was not an option.

Way overpriced, Avoid!They charged me more than $1,700 for the parts. I searched online and found them for much cheaper. I ended up paying $3,000 for a couple repairs.If you need major service get a second opinion.

An adamantly honest auto shop. I had an emergency. They said come in if you can wait. While I waited I heard Mike tell people things like “well it might only be…“ Or in other words not as bad as you thought. Anytime an auto shop doesn’t try to upsell you to do more than is needed you know you found the place to go. My fix was handled quickly and I was back on the road. First class.

I wont be coming here anymore, my european car got totalled. But I liked the shop. Mike is a little stiff. If he took it down a notch hed be a much happier person.

Brought the Volvo XC90 to my dealer for service, they told me the valve gasket cover was leaking, would have cost $1740 to repair. Called AA and they quoted a much cheaper price. They said they would to an inspection first, if they needed to repair they would discount me the price of the inspection. Brought it over the next day. They called me and told me there was nothing to repair. So this saved me a ton of money. I know where I will bring my car next time.

I cant say enough good things about this business. Great people, amazing service, unrivalled knowledge, and they really care about helping people more than their bottom-line.Theyre a great local business that was able to help me out when I really needed it, and I will support them for as long as theyre around.

They fixed my Hyundai Elantra, which was the main thing, so kudos to them for that. The free loaner car while they did the repair was also a big plus. A couple of minor downsides: They told me to be there at 8:00am, but no mechanics were there till 9:00am, so I sat around for an hour. The manager, Mike, is a little bit gruff, but is efficient, flexible and responds quickly to emails. I can recommend them and would return if I needed service.

I had a 3 hour waiting because instead of dropping off my car at 8am I went there at 9am, which I totally understand because they told me in advance on the phone when I made the appointment. Once there, the people in the front desk were not only gentle and professional, but they also were really helpful. They offered me a loan car for free so I wouldnt wait in their office and could do other things instead. They told me they would call me around noon and that is what happened! Each experience here has exceeded my expectations for a service center. Previously I always went to dealerships for service, but when my car needed more major service I actually looked around and compared - AA Auto Service came in a few hundred dollars less than the dealership, and ended up being so much more friendly, educating, and customer-focused. After my repair they showed my old component and how damaged it was - super cool.I cannot recommend this team enough. They even go out of their way to do things like wash your car - the last time I went to a dealership for service they wouldnt even give a coupon for a car wash unless I spent more. They are absolutely my go-to for all car questions and service.

This place is horrible. They over charged me, were very rude and on top of that did a poor job of servicing my vehicle $7500 for timing belt, gaskets and and exhaust valve machining/replacement. Also, no loaner car or assistance for a rental for 2 weeks. The clutch in my 2013 Subaru Impreza was incorrectly installed causing the car to shake on hills and flats but its another $2500 to get it replaced again.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. They didnt charge me for oil change because took 30 minutes more than estimated time. They were apologetic.Highly recommend!

The guys at AA are always great to work with and talk to. They keep me updated throughout the process. Rating four stars because there was a little bit of pricing confusion. Situation below:- Brought 92 F150 to diagnose transmission oil leak- Leak identified but specific cause unknown. I received a call to let me know that it could be anything from a broken seal to a cracked transmission which could potentially cost over $2000- During the call, we came to the agreement that I could do $500 to drop the transmission and identify the specific cause- They discovered that there were a few bolts that just needed to be tightened, so they proceeded with the fix since it was so simple- They gave me a call and let me know they fixed it since it was so simple- I went to the shop expecting to pay the $500 we discussed, however I ended up paying $1200 after tax. They did give me a $50 discount which I appreciated greatly.Im not totally clear on where the new price figure came from, but I was willing to pay up to $1500 to have the truck fixed either way. Aside from that, I love working with these guys and will be returning as long as I can ensure a bit clearer price communication.

I have had our Mercedes ML 350 and Nissan Frontier Pickup serviced here. The staff -- particularly Mike -- is awesome and the work is tremendous. Their rates are great. Also because I had had a big job done, a smaller job was done for free. Nice.

My first visit to AA Auto Service saved me $1,585 !I own an older van that was increasingly producing a thumping noise in the front end. Among other things, I considered this safety problem. Being new to Redmond, I took it to another shop for a diagnosis. They specified replacement of various parts with an estimate of $1,800 to do the work. My wife suggested a second opinion.I took it to AA Auto Service because I had noticed their AAA affiliation - something that I had learned to put some confidence in over the years. They diagnosed that, when a replacement transmission was installed in the van several years ago, many bolts had not been torqued adequately. When the technician manually pushed on the engine it moved! The fix was to tighten all the bolts. The parts listed by the first shop were, in fact, functioning fine. This was four days ago - there have been virtually no thumps since in spite of my efforts to produce them by driving harder than usual.I take two conclusions from this experience: (1) Im impressed with AA Auto Service, and (2) it is a good practice to listen to your wife.

Excellent Customer Service. I bought a vehicle that required extensive and costly repair. AA Auto Service provided excellent service while being attentive to my financial needs. They also provided a loner vehicle and swift auto repair. Certainly, without comparison the best value and service in the region.

If a repair is not necessary, he wont do it. Their team identified and fixed a problem that a supposed 4 star shop was supposed to fix in Lake Stevens. They finished within a day of work and even tested the stability of the issue for a prolonged period for quality of work to go the extra mile and not just pump out the car after the fix was finished.

Recently brought my Ridgeline in to get the brakes checked, as I was 99% sure my rotors were warped. They threw my truck up right away and got to work. Mike actually gave me his own truck to use to run errands in when I told him I had some things to do. Ridiculously good customer service.Tom determined my rotors were a little warped, but still safe to drive on. He and Mike both told me to just come back when my pads needed to be replaced and theyd give me a good deal.They refused to take any money for checking my brakes when I offered to pay and just told me theyd see me when I come back for the pads!Ill absolutely be coming back to these guys, as theyre the real deal. Honest, cool and good prices.Dont go anywhere else folks!

1st tine at this place. Only giving 2 stars because the women at the front desk was very nice. Her boss on the other hand acted very annoyed and disinterested. The prices here are extremely high. Charged me 219 dollars just to look at my car when my regular mechanic would do that for free. Ended up telling me my wheel bearing were bad. And my abs system was failing and there was a recall on my car. Wanted 1400 to fix. Decided to take it over to my regular mechanic. He looked at the car and told me my wheel bearings were totally fine and it ended up being my control arm. Called the dealer and there were no recalls on my car. Long story short, bad customer service, high prices and dont know what they are doing.

The only opportunity I had to bring in my pickup to their shop was on the weekend. Mike said it would not be able to be worked on Monday because of vacations. So I was quite surprised when Mike called Monday afternoon and said it was ready to pick up. When I asked he said he came in early and did it.This is only one reason they get my business. They keep my wifes car in good shape.Thanks Mike!

Came in with a previous quote from a competitor calling to replace the struts and shocks on my sedan. I was completely ready to spend over $1k on replacements and service, meanwhile the knowledgeable staff assessed my vehicle, and found little wrong with what was previously advised as needing to be replaced. Theyve made a lifelong customer out of me, not because they saved me several dollars, but because they leveled with me about my vehicle rather than trying to turn a quick buck off of an inexperienced Joe somebody. Ive been going here for years and they are absolutely amazing. They are honest, efficient, and are on top of it in regards to timing. They have a loaner they will let you use, and they have a Microsoft shuttle that goes to campus. I dont trust anyone else w/my car - have tried taking it to a couple other places just out of sheer convenience and have regretted it each time. For someone who has absolutely no idea about cars - I really appreciate the service, and the time they take to explain whats going on.

My son and I stumbled into their shop after walk/hiking for wayyy too long on the Bear Creek trail. We were lost, hot and tired. I went in to ask for directions when Norm gave us a ride back to my car. We were so way off track!I am so thankful. When I need their service, that is where I am going!

Even though they were short handed, they were honest and told me to come back the next day. They fixed my car (new water pump) and also washed my car which is a plus. They dont play around and give you 100% honest quotes and complete repairs in an efficient manner. I would recommend you take your car here if you dont trust any other mechanic.

Cant thank these guys enough for the help and top notch level of service they provided me. The owner (Mike) and his technician (Mel) went above and beyond to diagnose and correct an issue I had with my truck prior to me leaving town for a camping trip. Good service, but modest communication.They did a good job, in the timeline they promised.However, their communication was very modest. I dropped off my car for an oil change yesterday morning. When it was done, they called my wife, saying that they repeatedly called me unsuccessfully. (I had not actually received any call from them.) My wife contacted me immediately and I called them right away. They rushed me, telling me that they had already talked to my wife and everything was taken care of. They said the break fluid and something else needed changing as well, but my wife had agreed upon postponing this service until the next oil change, which she had not! They were probably poorly organized or did not communicate well amongst themselves. I had to call them again later in the day and specifically ask for details, which they finally gave me. The whole thing was a hustle which could have been avoided.

Wow! This is as real as it gets. I drive into a miniature ocean of a puddle and dislodge something under my car. Im dealing with what sounds like a muffler dragging on the ground as my car is in motion. I called and spoke with the most friendly, low-key-speaking guy ever--thanks Michael, who verbally quoted me a minimal fix-it-fee and said I could stop in first thing on Monday (after Thanksgiving) to have someone at the center take a look. I arrived and was directed to go inside to give the particulars to Adrianne-who was very quick and efficient.As I sat waiting for the verdict on my problem and final cost, I watched as returning customers spoke with the staff as if they were longtime friends...Now thats a place I want to take my car. The damages were far less than I had expected and theres no more noise. The nice repair guy --sorry I didnt catch his name, but he gave my car a gorgeous wash job-Thanks! You guys ROCK! I got my spark plugs changed here 6 months ago. This week I had issues with my car and took it to a different mechanic (aa was super busy) and was told I needed my spark plugs changed for $1300. I called AA and Manager Mike told me to bring it down because there was no way the spark plugs were bad. They changed out a coil and the car is running great. Saved me $1100. He also offered to lend me his truck since it was raining and I had my kids with me. And the woman in the front office was super nice and kept my oldest occupied the entire time i was there.

Amazing service. I hate when you make an alignment appointment, just to leave your car around all day. These guys got me in on time and out quickly. They provide a shuttle to work and even offered to wash my car. While I didnt use those services this time, its nice to know they are there.I will be back here for all my auto needs.

Our vehicles are so important. As a new dad with two little ones, I need to have a mechanic I can trust and rely on that delivers high quality repairs. AA Auto has been that mechanic for my family. What really impressed me was how they handled some recent troubles Ive had with my Nissan Pathfinder. Michael, the service technician, dug into my car history, understood all of the work that had been done before and realized exactly what the problem was and what was happening. More so, he was honest about what was going on, explaining it in clear English and more importantly realizing that other repairs were not done up to a high quality bar! He was honest with me about that and ensured that he figured out a way to get the work done the right way without a charging me again for work that should have been done the right way the first time. Thats what I call amazing service. Between how Michael handled this situation, the continuous friendly, awesome customer service, and reliable updates, AA auto remains my go to mechanic for all my vehicles!

My family has been bringing all of our vehicles to AA Auto Service Center for years. We rely on them to keep us on the road! I recently brought in my SUV for a check because I was going to be taking a necessary road trip in January and was expecting some rough weather! I felt much more confident and secure AFTER they had done their check! There are so many nice things to say about this company (excellent customer service, finished on time, reliable) but the one thing that stands out is that you can trust them to never recommend any work that is not valid!

Good service, they provide shuttles! Mean well for the most part. I felt a bit insulted however. They praised me for being a girl and knowing my license plate number, they kept calling me a kiddo (I’m 25, not a wise adult per se, but mature for my age), and the guy who attended me talked about his wife “blabbing like an idiot.”This review is really meant for the staff rather than the customer. I think the cost is worth it here, but I don’t plan to go back simply because I rather not feel insulted every time I go.Update: they called to apologize, like i said, they were great otherwise!

All in all, this is an auto repair with very friendly people working here, who will charge a fair price for the amount of work they do instead of nickle-and-diming you for every charge!My experience: I went in for a minor car repair, completely unsure of what was wrong with my car. They figured it out, and since it was such a minor repair, they discounted and then waived the price since it didnt take them that long to do the work. This was an entirely unexpected act of kindness, and thats why I cant recommend this place enough. Its clearly run by people who are generous and believe in an honest days work. Will be recommending this place to everyone - and my cars running great!

Attention Firefighters: I ended up being referred to AA auto service when I had emergency brake issues in Redmond. I was aprehensive because I didnt know if I was going to be taken advantage of. Mike was not there that late afternoon but his team took care of me and supplied a loaner car so I could get home in time to get my kids from school. The next day Mike the manager told me what was wrong with my husbands car. He was kind and professional and explained things in a simple concise way. When I got off the phone with him I felt 100% comfortable that I was getting great service and that this shop puts there customers first. They also stand behind there work with longer warranties. When I picked up my husbands car Mike was awesome in person and a pleasure to meet. My husband is a Fireman and knowing that AA auto service took care of me when he was on shift means a lot to him. He will definitely be taking his car here from now on! Thank you Mike, Adrianne, and technician guy for such great customer and mechanical service!

These guys are amazing. They care about all their customers, new and old. Ive gone here repeatedly for various issues with my car (its really old) and am at ease knowing I have people to call that will always do everything they can to help without it costing me a pretty penny

I love these guys. They got me in right away and gave me a loaner car. They were so nice and did a fabulous job. I got my car back the next day. I had a tight schedule and they worked around it. I would choose them for my auto mechanics over the dealer any day!

My car stopped running unexpectedly and hat it towed to this shop. They did a quick diagnostic and have me the unfortunate news that it was beyond repair. They were super nice and recommended a couple sources to donated my dead car and didnt rush me to get it off their lot. If you need your car serviced or repaired, I recommend this shop.

Getting car repairs is never fun, but with a convenient location close to Microsoft, friendly staff, and high quality service, I am confident they will be keeping my old car going for many more miles. I needed an alignment on my 2015 WRX and got a recommendation from a tire store nearby for these guys. I am very pleased with the results, the alignment is great, they did a good job.But they also went above and beyond. Because of some previous damage they needed to get a caster bolt and instead of making me wait for the part to be delivered they sent one of their guys to get it which saved at least an hour. Also, my phone battery was dying so they found a charger and chord which allowed me to continue my work while I waited.Then they brought my car out front when it was done, after they washed and vacuumed it! Its the small things like that which makes a difference.Mike and Delaney were great and I will definitely be back.

The team at AA Auto Service Center were able to fit me in last minute to diagnose and fix an issue that came up on my vehicle. We had a camping trip planned and due to a poorly timed SES light we didnt know if we were going to make our trip. The team over at AA took care of us in a fair and fast way. Thanks team!

Worst service Ive ever had. My vehicle isnt worth more than 50 thousand so I wasnt good enough to be treated with respect

Took my sons older car in because it had failed emissions. I told them he only wanted to pay the minimum $150 to get a waiver because there were numerous emission codes and the cost to address them all would be prohibitive and my son could not afford more. He was called and told the bill was $220. Also told that his car needed $6,000 worth of work. Its a $2,000 car at best. I drove my son to pick up his car from the shop and spoke to the gentleman who I had told about wanting only the minimum diagnosis and repairs, $150. He did reduce the bill to about $154 plus tax after I argued. When I read the technicians report, it stated, in part, that the timing chain tensioner may be bad and the timing may be off and the valve covers would need to be removed to check this. My sons car does NOT have a timing chain. It has a timing belt and camshaft timing can be checked by removing two plastic covers which are clipped to the front of the engine, which takes a few seconds. It is proclaimed that the technicians are specialists. How can they not know this? Did they even open the hood? If they are going to fill a repair order out with BS, at least make it believable BS. All credibility lost in this facility. Additionally, I did check the valve timing and it is not out of specifications.

In one short visit, AA Auto has proven that customer service is their top priority. I was in a pinch and needed my rear brakes replaced ASAP. I was that guy, rolling in late in the day and needing my stuff done that night. Mike was amazing, acted like it was not big deal, expedited getting the parts brought over and got it taken care of in under 2 hours.I will use words that I daresay do not get thrown around in the auto repair industry much, especially not in my experience. But on top of getting the work done with quality and efficiency, I experienced compassion and kindness from them that I would have never expected.There is no need to search further, they will take care of you. Clearly helping people is the most important service they offer here and they get it right! I will go back, even as soon as next Friday!
