We called Carpetco and told them what our flooring needs were. Stormy had us come in and she was ready with samples and a very professional consultation on our choices. We ordered flooring for our entire home and it was installed in a timely manner. We received five star service and we love our new flooring.

Had vinyl plank flooring put in our entire house. The parts that lock the flooring together are not strong enough and have been breaking, so the flooring has been separating at the ends. I have been communicating with them for months but they refuse to fix it. Huge headache and expense for the poor results. Wish we went with a different company.

The best customer service. They listened to my needs and discussed options. We had a situation where owner was buying carpet but we could pick it out. They were super flexible and right on top of things. Kept everything organized and helped come up with options. These folks are awesome. Very highly rexommended. Ive used them for two of the homes Ive lived in.

The selection is amazing. Candace talked with us a bit to learn our preferences and directed us to the lines of carpet that would suit our needs and more specifically, our tastes in color and pattern. We found what we needed within the first few samples we took home. The prices are excellent and the installation was very quick and professional. Altogether an excellent experience!!

I would highly recommend Carpetco in Redmond !! From walking in the door the staff was terrific. The installers were also fabulous! I had the entire floors in my home replaced. The job was done as promised, for a good price and it was a quality job! I love buying local and not dealing with the big box stores!! Support local and give them a try!

Professional service all around. The workers stayed late to complete the job the day before Thanksgiving. So happy to have this done considering the original date for installation was Dec.1st. Will definitely recommend and hire them again.

I started out trusting Carpet Co in Redmond, Oregon, but they soon threw away that trust. I have never been as disappointed with a company as I have them. I have never written a review on any company, but they have pushed me to the limit! Didnt show up when promised, the carpet layers spent over !/2 of a day on the phone, conducting private business, as I sat here waiting for the job to get done. I paid to have furniture moved, yes they unplugged power strips & moved the furniture, but when they put it back, they didnt plug power strips back in, so I had to get neighbors to do it. They took off some doors, never pounded down the pins on the doors, just slipped them half way in. The quarter round trim was explained to me wrong, & when I called to say it looked horrible, the answer was for me to just pop it off, stain or paint it & pop it back on, not even a small apology. The edging for the transition from floor to carpet has been delayed over a month, with all sorts of excuses & time frames. Now I get a call saying that I owe $15.00 more for the trim. They should be paying me & giving me an apology for all of the delay & frustration. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, & I will continue to tell any one that inquires, not to use them.

We chose Carpetco because we wanted to support a local company. We purchased carpet and laminate from them in 2015 and had them install it. This was a major purchase, as it was our entire house. They installed the laminate incorrectly which voided our warranty with the manufacturer. They had to come back after one year and then two years to re-stretch the carpet. Our carpet now looks like its 10 years old and is buckled in multiple places in every room. They refuse to warranty their work. They ignored my inquiries for weeks at a time. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and we are out thousands of dollars for wanting to shop local. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I wish I had read some of these reviews before purchasing from CarpetCo. They do not stand behind their installers, and are quick to dismiss your problem. My carpet started to buckle at a year, and I called them twice and was told someone would call me back within the next day and I never heard from anyone. I finally had to go in to the store to be told that they had notified the installer via email. Ha! I doubt I will hear a word from him. If a company wont stand behind their subcontractor then I dont want to do business with them. I didnt choose the installer they sent, and I didnt pay him directly. My check was written to CarpetCo so I believe THEY should be the one standing behind their products. SO VERY disappointed, and will never do business with them again.

Theyll take your money and sell you carpet. But they dont stand behind their installers. They dont advise you that these individuals are private contractors UNLESS theres an issue. As soon as there is a problem they are quick to mention the installers they provide dont actually work at Carpetco. Where was that information prior to install? (Withholding the truth is the same as a lie.)As you can see by the multiple recent bad reviews this is probably not the carpet place to do business with. The Owner and the Staff cant wait to dismiss their culpability. Well guess what? Bad installers that YOU provide reflect badly on your business. Your reviews speak for themselves. They lost a customer for life. A customer who still has plenty of flooring work to be done which will now go to another company. Ill be sure to let my friends, family and co-workers know about my experience. Thanks for the headache!1/17/2019 - Reply to “owner”.I’m sure it’s easier to play coy than accept responsibility. I’ve spoken to Kate about this review and she knows exactly who this is in regards to and why it was posted. The fact that you want to now mention that you stand behind your installers for a year I find hilarious. You were so quick to wipe your hands of your installers immediately after the install. You sent over an alcoholic to my house that has a poor reputation throughout Central Oregon. (Something I have since found out from other carpet companies.) Funny that everyone else in this “small pool” knows about him but you conveniently don’t.Try hiring your own installers and holding them accountable. That’s an option too. Or you can continue to do business in the same ignorant way and wonder why you get the responses that you do. The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.Your yelp and Mapquest reviews are just as poor as your google reviews. Gee, I wonder why......??You know exactly what you’re doing and you don’t care. I would never buy carpet from you ever again and will continue to recommend the same to everyone I know.

Kate, at Carpetco, was instrumental in assisting us in both the selection and guidance in the installation of Allwood Hickory flooring in our kitchen, dining, breakfast bar and hallway areas. Excellent product, looks GREAT and professionally installed by Joe and his experienced crew. The entire process was competitively priced and professionally handled. We highly recommend Carpetco to the discerning shopper.

**BUYER BEWARE**Bought a remnant of high quality carpet at a great price. That is all this company is good for. Get your carpet then find padding and installers elsewhere. The remnant was about 80sqft bigger then my room needed. Which is perfectly fine as i understood i needed to purchase the entire remnant. I also paid for the upgraded 8lb pad with moisture barrier attached and they charged me the same sqft as the remnant, same goes for install! The installers showed up and i had to ask them not to walk around on my brandnew hardwood i just had installed. Its was a wet rainy day and they tracked stuff all over the new carpet. I also had the brand new base trim installed and painted before hand, have done that method several times in the past with not problems. Well these installers scuffed it all up and i had a lot of touch up to do. Last but not least, i recently had to do a repair on the transition they messed up in the process. Pulled back my carpet to find that the pad is plain old 6lb builder grade!(obviously no moisture barrier) Not what I paid for! Not only did they over charge me on square footage but did not even provide the upgrade that i paid for! There installers are unprofessional and lack pride in there work. This is a dishonest, unethical way to run a business.

In September of 2015, I visited CarpetCo in Redmond, OR to see about replacing very worn carpet that was only nine years old. Even though the sales people were busy with previous customers, I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered the establishment. I took the time to investigate the many flooring options the store has to offer. While I was still oohing and aahing over the wide assortment of vinyl, carpet, tile, stone, and others, one of the sales ladies, Kate, having finished with her previous customer, introduced herself and asked what she might help me find. I gave her my wishlist for new carpet and she easily directed me to 3 or 4 possibilities. She and Candace, the store owner, explained the advantages of each one. I took home color samples and chose one. Dale came out to take measurements. Mike, Aaron and Owen not only installed the carpet perfectly, but also moved the pieces of furniture that I was unable to. My 2900 square foot home was completely re-carpeted in four days!Thank you, Candace, Kate, Dale, Mike, Aaron and Owen, for your wonderful customer service and the excellent results of your knowledge and expertise.

I have never written a poor review for a company but the experience was so bad I feel the need to warn others. I will say the women at the store (Kate) was great to deal with. Our carpet was supposed to be delivered by a certain date. We were called and told it didnt make it on the truck so it was going to be a week later. After explaining that this did not work for our situation, they did make it right by finding us another carpet that would work. It was slightly more expensive but after some back and fourth they gave it to us at the same price.Their installers were the WORSE and the real reason for this review! First two guys show up in a van with our carpet and they sit outside our house smoking for awhile with the windows up. Im pretty sure carpet can absorb smell but either way its unprofessional. They proceed to come in and out of the house with there shoes on tracking in dirt to the rest of the house and all over the brand new carpet. A professional group would at least wear shoe booties. We didnt have the hard wood floor transition pieces and the installers didnt want to finish the install underneath two doors until we had them. I stated just finish it back 1 3/8ths and I will take care of it. He stated that hes in Redmond all of the time so just call when we have them and he will swing by. Plus, he forgot his tool for the crawl space access so he would do that at the same time. Once they left we walk over the carpet only to find that you can feel where the padding shifted during install to where there is none in one spot and doubled up in another. Terrible but at least we can move our bed to cover it so we dont see/fell it all the time. If all of this wasnt enough we call him to come back and finish and prior to leaving he gives me an invoice for an additional $75. At no time was an additional amount talked about or else I never would have had him come back.As I mentioned at the start, Kate was great to work with. If you buy from here be sure to get your own installation people.
