I stopped by 5 Stones Coffee to get a coffee before taking the bus at the transit center and I definitely enjoyed the experience. My latte was excellently made. The staff is really friendly, they are not just being polite but you can tell they enjoy making coffee for people. The atmosphere is social and relaxing, there are tables both inside and outside the shop.

Ordered Cafe Stefano. Too sweet for me. Avocado toast was alright, basic but expensive. I sat outside because there was limited seating. They brought the toast to me but asked to pick up the coffee from the bar inside, by myself. Now do I leave my toast and bag outside while I go pick up the coffee? Or do I carry them all inside and come out again? Coffee was ready few minutes after toast was brought to me. I wouldve been fine to pick up both of them myself AT THE SAME TIME.

Coffee means different things to different people. 5 Stones is perfect for people who like the idea of coffee more than actually enjoying the complex flavors you can get from a good cup of coffee. I have had the same single origin bean flavor from dozens of other places throughout the Pacific NW. You get what you would expect. Coffee. Its functional.Pastries were basic fare. Tried 4 different items and all were pretty good. Definitely better the earlier you arrive.

Will miss this coffee shop. Pre pandemic, I would go here to read and have coffee. It was my form of self care. It’s a bit harder to do now that Redmond has grown a lot and there’s less space with social distancing. This is still the best coffee I’ve ever had. I will miss it!

5 Stones is a great local coffee spot - the best in Redmond. They’re walk up service during the start of the pandemic was a great way to stay caffeinated and they’ve done an equally great job adhering to cdc guidelines on re-opening. I’ve read recent reviews and complaints about non-compliance from the 5 stones team and can’t say that I agree. Seems just as safe as any other brick & mortar shops I’ve been to that are also following the rulesLove the seasonal drink offerings and the pastries are next level. It’s always a pleasure to swing through 5 Stones.

These guys were great! There was a little bit of a wait because of a few orders before me, but the baristas were super friendly and courteous. A couple minutes after I ordered, a barista came over to apologize about the wait and offered a “buy one, get one” coupon. It’s really easy to be patient when it’s clear that employees are doing their best to ensure everyone’s order is done well instead of rushing and making mistakes. My Ethiopian pourover was great, and the atmosphere is really comfortable for conversation or working. You can expect: mostly bench or bar seating, a robust craft coffee menu, retail for making good coffee at home, and Onyx coffee.

5 stones is my favorite coffee shop hands down. I don’t even live in Redmond and drive out of my way frequently just to get coffee there. It’s also my go to coffee place to bring any friends or family visiting the area. Any of their specialty drinks are amazing, but especially their Cafe Stefano...it’s life changing. They also have a great selection of unique teas including my favorite coconut vanilla black tea. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, plus the owners are frequently there and couldn’t be nicer people. Now as I’m typing this I’m craving a Cafe Stefano, and am going to make my husband drive me there now :)

It was my friends birthday and we are from AZ. We chose this place based on the ratings and it was amazing. Cocktails were spot on and timely. Steaks were all cooked to accurate Temps in a group of 11 except for one. We all concurred that the filet and the pepper steak were the best. Scalloped potatoes were delicious and if you can last to the end the cheesecake Carmel dish was ridiculous good. Ave price wine list.

This coffee shop is amazing! The staff are super cautious on what they are touching, how they are wearing masks, and just overall friendly! They are following CDC guidelines by closing off every other table, requiring masks when not at your table, and directing foot traffic. On top of that, the food and drinks are phenomenal. The avocado toast does NOT skimp on the avocado, the helping is more then generous and their signature drinks are outstanding.Weekends are busy so you often cannot find a spot since they work hard to keep it at 50% capacity at all times! Very happy and thankful this coffee shop has been able to survive through the pandemic. I go here at least once a week, and while maskless indoor seating is available, Ive never felt uncomfortable in the store while waiting for my takeout drinks, and Im a whole-hearted believer in masks and social distancing and such. People are spaced out, and you can always wait outside on the patio area for your drink. Times are definitely tough for smaller businesses, and Ill happily continue to support this one! (If you dont like how theyre following state guidelines, find another place to go, save some of your money, donate it to a charity, or make your own coffee at home!) But I do still highly recommend this spot for a great cup of coffee and/or a tasty pastry :)

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in the area. Honestly, some of the best coffee and atmosphere around. They have adjusted to the ever changing swings of covid like champs. This is a very busy shop, so be warned when you go that I can feel busy or crowded, but they are doing everything to keep you and others safe. They just have a big following and are loved by many, and that’s how you know this place is good. There is a great outdoor seating area as well, which is always a wonderful treat on a non rainy day in the seattle area, especially in fall. They also have one of the only pumpkin lattes without dairy in the area, so keep that in mind if you are vegan or dairy sensitive. Give this place a try next time you are in Redmond, you won’t regret it.

No parking and no gluten free options. Went in around noon on a Saturday, was very loud and busy. Lots of family’s with kids and an overall good environment but maybe a little overwhelming for some. Fantastic new discovery! My friends kept recommending this place and finally took me and my was it busy and bustling on the weekend. We ordered the Cafe Stefano hot and iced and they were both delicious. I preferred the iced version since it gave more of a refreshing flavor and the orange zest complimented the coffee flavor really nicely. Seating is limited at this cafe so I wouldnt really suggest it as a working joint unless you like to be right next to people while working. The staff is super helpful and friendly and they have some really nice looking pastries which Ill have to try next time. Coffee here is regularly priced.
