Cute place and friendly people. Got the Butter Croissant, a Potato Cheese and Bacon filed puff and an Almond Kringle with the coffee. The coffee way okay but all the food tasted dry and not like it was freshly prepared. Not sure if it was because I came in around noon and it had probably been made earlier. I might give the place one more chance though since it was cute and in the neighborhood.
I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to for this!I was getting a birthday cake for my friend, and was looking for a bakery that does carrot cake. Kringle’s had good reviews, ordered online, and when I went in to pick it up - it was just so much more than what I expected! The cake looked beautiful, I loved all the details on it. Not to mention it tasted amazing as well. Moist and dense. We all loved it!
Been meaning to visit here for years and finally made it. Has a Delicious (but small) pumpkin doughnut. I can’t wait to come back! also it was clean and the staff was very personable & change their gloves before helping me! Seems like a given but you don’t see that often so, I really appreciated that! :)
I came in on a whim before I went to work. Im not familiar with the imediate area and saw it on the bus. I looked and they had coffee so I decided to go give them a try as well the alternative is *bleh* Starbucks. They were super friendly and made my drink perfectly. And a place to get a fave pastry that is fairly hard to find. Their pumpkin rolls are absolutely delishous and the cookies are just as good. This has become a fave spot and will deff be ordering from them in the future. I also found my hole in the wall coffee spot for Redmond.love love and love.
I ordered two Kringles and paid the $9.95 for two day shipping. When it was a day late I called to see what was wrong. They told me it was in Indiana, problem is I live in Washington state. They told me they would cancel the order and send me two fresh Kringle. Never happened, instead the kringle family had FedEx deliver the original order that they said they cancelled. So a week after I ordered them and five days late I received two nasty week old pastries. Ive called customer service two times to resolve this but the kringle family just ignores me. I dont think they are treating me fair. I paid ten dollars for two day shipping and fifty dollars for fresh pastries. Instead I get week old garbage. So the Kringle family got my money and left me feeling like I got used. Hope everyone else has better luck.
Traditional picturesque bakery in cute old little house where I used to enjoy a break regularly a few years back. Returned this morning to see how they were doing. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait hoping for a warm smooth start this rainy morning, but I was served what at best tasted like lukewarm Latte made with yesterdays brew. It was surprisingly poorly made especially considering I was the only customer in there. I also ordered an Apple Spice Kringle, served unheated, and also the Kringle was truly lacklustering, dry and tasteless.
Very good pastries, and the coffee was fantastic. Ill definitely be back here.
Kringles is the best of the best. It is truly a friendly neighborhood bakery that makes you feel welcome, and has the BEST staff and treats. We have ordered a unicorn cake for my daughters birthday and it was excellent. There are almost always adorable, special-themed cookies based on holidays, and you MUST try a kringle (my favorite is the almond creme heated up). The dining room is cute and cozy, and the patio is a great spot to sit after taking the kids to the park nearby (Anderson). Mandy (the owner) is such a sweetheart and my daughter (age 5) loves her so much she now wants to be a baker. This is our favorite Eastside bakery! :)
Breakfast sandwiches and mocha make for a perfect day.
First time, cute place, nice people, good food 👍🏼
Highly recommended! Flaky sweet and buttery with a generous portion of fillings. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere 😊 I will return.
One of the best loaves of bread I have ever tasted. Very impressed. Will be going back for more!!!
My expectations have been exceeded. That gals who work there are nice and jovial. Ill be going back for more goodies, pies and coffee!
The cashier was extremely nice and the foods great!
Low sugar pastries. Very hard to find in the US.
When your here, you are very much family. My Co-workers/friends used to come here and just sit and relax for hours on end. Not possiable right now with the Pandemic going on, but eventually that will lift and I recommend stopping in when we can all do so again safely. While your waiting for that to happen try their Kringles. They are delicious!
The best Ive heard, but tasted today and their products are delicious. There has been a long queue, but with a minimum wait time, their servers are very fast.
Im really glad that every time I go to this shop the staff are very welcoming and give a great service. Amazing flavors, pastries and quality baked breads. All natural ingredients, very tasty. Would definitely come back and recommend you shop.
Super friendly staff!
These girls are AWESOME,FRIENDLY, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND CALL OF DUTY!!!!! I was in a bind this morning I needed a key lime pie and I needed it ASAP. I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the girl I dealt with but she was my hero. I called around this morning everywhere and no one seemed to even have a key lime pie. I called Kringle Bakery and the young lady was so friendly and accommodating, she said sure I’ll put one in the oven for you right now. I was able to get the pie I needed, made it to Seattle on time with it and I can’t say enough how she saved my life and job. I had just started this job 2 weeks ago delivering and the last thing I wanted was to be late. So not only did she have what I needed she was more than happy to help a desperate lady in need. Thank you so much!!! My rating for you guys Is 10 stars and I will be letting everyone I know how awesome you guys are. Thanks again!!!! BTW the quality of food was A++++ also !!!!
Everyone here is awesome, and Mandy the owner of this bakery is amazing! On top of that the food is absolutely delicious. I stop by here with my daughter every time I have the money to spend on some kind of dessert!
This is such a lovely place! Got my grad party cake made here and they had great options, plus we love their individual treats - they have a lot to choose from and everything looks and tastes amazing. Theyve always been so kind and helpful every time we visit!
OMG This Kringle is the best!
Amazing locally owned bakery with a selection of delicious treats both sweet and savory. When in Redmond for a job, this is a must visit. Quality espresso and coffee drinks as well. Their breakfast in a muffin w/sausage is simply amazing, also the namesake kringle is a decadent treat.
My hub said that the people who work there are super nice. I was really excited to try their pastries and the hub bought a few items. But when he gave me a cupcake, it was dry and crumbly. Took a bite of the croissant, it was dry, a bite of the cinnamon roll, it was dry. I dont understand why they get away selling dry snacks like that! They tasted old like they had sat out for a week. So so disappointed. We wont be back.
The owner and staff are kind and make the best savory and sweet treats. They have a unique selection. This is not your average bakery. Their customer service is outstanding.
I bought a rather expensive pretzel (no mustard or cheese sauce just the pretzel). It was dry, crumbly and tasted like bread. Not sure if it was fresh. Nothing special at all. I would rather go to farine next time which is a block away.
My husband meets in a group that before Covid regularly met at the bakery. It didnt do much for his waist, lol, but it was one of the best places in town in the morning to have a delicious treat and relax in a friendly atmosphere.I have ordered several cakes from the bakery and they never disappointed. The cakes are moist, the cream icing is amazing, and they do everything with wonderful service. An excellent local bakery that is a treasure to our town.
Homey environment, friendly people, and from scratch items made in house. What more could you ask for? Absolutely in love with the cinnamon rolls and danish’s!!!
Delicious! Everything is so fresh!
That Puffy hot bacon filled thing is my Favorite.
Had a good experience in this spot with my wife. The food came rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are reasonable.
Homemade style treats from six generations of family recipes. Not your usual artisinal bakery, reminds me of my aunts and grandmas homemade treats. They only use good ingredients and each piece is made by hand with love. Cute house and atmosphere. Very welcoming and the espresso is really good! I just ordered a cake for my sons b-day this weekend as they take custom orders.
Utmost tasty with one of a kind bakery goodies! I am glad I dont work there as I would be too tempted to self serve.
One of my favorite Redmond spots. I like to come here to get lunch and the service and food is always great
Great breads and baked goods with some German flair thrown in. Served by an incredibly friendly staff in a peaceful environment. Love the place.
This place is amazing! You can get breakfast, lunch, pastries, and breads. You can even order a cake for the next day! The owner is the biggest sweetheart you will ever know. Everything is from scratch and made with love. Give this local gem a try.
My partner and I absolutely loved this bakery. We tried it for the first time on the 11th. The staff was super friendly and all the pastries were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning not just for the DELICIOUS food, but for the AMAZING customer service and wonderfully friendly staff!!!!
Not sure what the good rating is for. I bought a box of an assortment of their goods, and to be honest, I was not impressed with any of them. Their bread:topping ratio is too high in favor of the bread, and the flavors were nothing spectacular. I was definitely disappointed......
Cute little bakery offering my favorite things: good coffee and pastries. The maple bacon roll I am devouring as I type this has saved my Friday, and possibly my weekend. Its gooey and salty and sweet and yeasty, as only a maple bacon roll should be.
We were really excited by the reviews and yet everything we got was so ordinary. We love our weekend treats and we didnt finish anything we got from here. The people were super nice.We think its the ingredients that fall short. We wont be back.
You wont find a better bakery. Meaning: this type of service and attention to quality baked goods is rarely found! Kringles is a GEM, and should be a landmark business you visit in the heart of Redmond. Youll love the selection, the goods, and of course the bakers!
Friendliest people, tastiest pastries. Feels like a friend welcoming you to their home, even on your first visit. They will remember your name and your usual order. And the food is fantastic - cinnamon roll has always been a favorite, but the recently featured cherry-cheesecake roll is divine. Theres also some great savory options for when you need a heartier breakfast/lunch rather than a sweet treat.
Perfect, authentic pastries baked & served by the owners. Hang out in the brightly-lit shop, enjoy the warm customer service. These people care about baking, and making people happy.
Very good coffee and pastries!
Im all about good customer service and these folx deliver! I was greeted warmly and served a delicious orange bun and hot blueberry green tea. Good quality products and strong tea I easily made another cup out of. I will happily for more treats!
We stopped here for some mid-morning pastries and loved it. Very homey and friendly space. Most of the baked goods were in the $3-4 range. We settled on some cinnamon buns, a sticky bun, and a lemon curd kringle. They were all very tasty, and we will definitely be back.
Everything I have gotten here has been delicious! Their quiche and almond croissants are my favorites
Best Bakery ever! Local family owned and operated. Friendly service and love their cupcakes and Kringles.
Great coffee and a wonderful atmosphere. Delicious Bakery items and lunch. Wonderful place to meet a friend
Everything is delicious, from the sweet to the savory. Always friendly staff. Great place to meet a friend for coffee.
Wow. Totally disappointed! Dry mini muffin that tastes like its from a box at the Alley Benefiting Food Line in Seattle. The other 5 chef bites were tasty. They didnt even take the time to decorate their table.
We love Mandy! And the pastries. We love the pastries, too.
Love this little hometown bakery. All natural ingredients, great service, and very tasty!
So the menu isnt huge and the hours are a little rough (I think theyre closed every day by 5:00 and all of Sunday) but what Ive had there is very good and super duper cheap. I recommend a Hazelnut Kringle ($3). Im not sure how to describe it, its sort of the size of a flat scone, has a hazelnut chocolate filling and a sort of baklava-esque exterior (except not super honey-laden). I also grabbed a few sugar cookies because they were only $1. Its a house converted to a bakery, so the shape of the place is strange, which makes for weird eating nooks inside. Theres also pleasant outdoor seating, although it faces a busy street and a parking lot, as well as Anderson Park.
Super cute spot with great desserts and breads. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful.
Mandy is amazing, great coffee and sticky buns☕☕☕
Wonderful atmosphere and pastries! In a time of hustle and bustle its nice to get out of your car and receive stellar service from sweet people
Great little bakery with local owners and friendly staff.
Well, that answer to that unhappy costumer was even more rude! I’d never request anything to be done by a place, where their employees are relying on whether they like you or not... to give you a service... that’s very unprofessional! Yuk!
Awesome! Good yummies, good coffee and friendly people.
We loved the homey, classic 40s setting. Simple decor and amazing kringle patries. The sausage kieche has a delicious crust and equally-yummy filling. My new, #1 pastry stop when in Redmond, Washington. Mmmmm!!!!
The kringles are amazing (lemon curd, almond, and banana cream are my fav) and I love that they have brats on the menu!!! Go here - you wont be disappointed!!
TERRIBLE SERVICE, they are completely UNRELIABLE! we are very unhappy with their service, they lied to us telling us they was available for September 29 and the Baker later said they were busy after hunting them down for a whole week, they screwed up all of our wedding plans! We are very unhappy. Never going back there again!
Nicest folks in town, and they will remember you and your drinks of choice!
Awesome food, banana kringle was perfect. It tasted even better when i found out it is all made from scratch, made with all natural ingredients and that it is a family business.
The baked goods are amazing and the staff is friendly and quick!
I had a sandwich from there. The bread was this weird bumpy kind. You guys should never use that kind or bread! Nobody expects to eat a sandwich like that.
I absolutely love this place! Try the breakfast kringle, and get a punch card!
Friendly atmosphere and very nice staff, unfortunately I cant give this place a higher review. While I may not be all that familiar with kringles, these were not only very dry, but also quite bland. And at $4 a piece, it seems way overpriced. I dont see or taste any value in this. I know this may be Redmond, but these constant price increases (33% over a previous reviewers mention of $3 kringles within the past year) feel far too opportunistic thanks to the local tech workers. The seasonal Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun had nary a hint of pumpkin flavor, and the bun itself tasted like it was made from the equally tasteless dough of their kringles.
Great little bakery. Friendly staff.
Accidentally discovered this place. Friendly staff and yummy pastries.
Great selection of pastries
My favorite coffee shop
Amazing food
Excellent!!!
Yum, really, just yum!
