Everyone here was amazing! I’ve been through the rounds with eye doctors and this place was great. Thorough, fast, and informative! The doctor answered questions I had and gave me good advice of issues I was having with some pretty severe dry eye. I opted to get new glasses while there and the guy that helped me was ALSO fantastic! He pointed out options, helped me choose a good fit and didn’t do any pressuring on higher price points - even after I said “I don’t care about $$, I just want a good fit”. This is 100% my new eye doctor!!!

I had a super great experience here. The staff helped me right away when I walked in and was super friendly and welcoming from the beginning. Dr. Shams was very kind and described everything she was doing as we went through the eye exam. In the end, Jordan helped me pick out a pair of glasses that fit my needs really well. It was overall a really great experience thanks to the staff!

What they did was amazing. At first, I was a bit skeptical about what would happen, but it turned out well. They gave me good glasses, and for a good price along with insurance. The doctor was also very good, gentle and very descriptive. I highly recommend this eye doctor for its good price and amazing customer services.

I got a contacts training with Jordan. I was nervous because this is my first time wearing contact but his outgoing personality made the whole process very stress free, he was also very informative and gave great tips on how to put my contacts in. Doctor was listening to everything I said and answered all my questions. Went with gas permeable mono lenses after 44 years of regular gas permeable lenses. Other optometrist s tried to sway me to soft contacts even though I specifically said I tried them, didn’t like them and wanted gas permeable. Staff was warm and friendly and very very attentive. And very knowledgeable. I loved that they have embraced new technologies in the exam process. What?? No blowing puff of air into my eye??!!! Love this place and will be a customer for life.

Walked in to get a pair of glasses on without an appointment. Ellesse gladly attended me on the spot, they have a variety of frames to choose from. Found a frame to my liking and checkout was super easy.

I highly recommend this business. From the moment I arrived, everyone was super helpful, professional and just plain nice. The staff here seem to genuinely care. Dr. Sham provides in-depth explanation for each test and result and answers every question clearly and completely. Jordan was incredibly helpful in helping me pick a frame that suited me. He even repaired two pair of glasses that I already owned at no charge. My appointment was an incredibly positive experience!

Absolutely amazing experience. They acknowledge me by name when I walked in and were expecting me, even though it was my first time there and even as busy as they were. Great overall experience. Clean, well lit, and comfortable office. Very professional and kind employees. Elise (spelling?) Was very helpful over the phone and in checking me in and explaining the new patient paperwork. Dr Shams was so lovely and professional and explained everything to me as she was giving me my check up, but also afterwards. She went over the exam results, and showed me a picture of what my seasonal allergies were doing to my eyes. She then gave me eye drops for my allergies, and explained that their price matched with Amazon. 5 out of 5!

Not a good place for myopia management for pediatrics, if you think your kids will need myopia management, dont go there, because they dont have all the options out there for myopia management.The optometrist is an Atropine Drops advocate, and when we ask her what are the other options if we dont use atropine eye drops for myopia management, she told us that the only option we have left would be watching our kids myopia to progress.I believe at then end of the day, what kind of treatment parents choose for their kids, is about what they are most comfortable with.**If you just want get regular vision checked and glasses ordered with your insurance, this is a good place, the place is clean, and staff are nice if you have good insurance.

Pick them as your vision service provider. Period.First time visiting, picked a pair of glasses from them, extremely patient staff and also very knowledgeable about all the brands, materials, and insurance coverage. I feel I got support from them when making my decision, and I trust their recommendations.Second time I visited them because one of the screws of my wifes glasses falls off. I made a phone call and Jordan simply recommended dropping by whenever I can to get it fixed. We did, and it only took 2 minutes for us to get the problem solved which was amazing.I tried asking if he could also fix the problem of my wifes sunglasses, which is not even bought from them. he said no problem at all and another two more minutes my wife sunglasses was also fixed. I truly appreciate Jordans help

I went to Ocean Optical for the first time to get a checkup on my eyes specifically to screen for Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration. Also, to see how much vision I lost being on screens during the pandemic. I was met with a warm and friendly staff and Dr. Sharms did a very thorough exam and a detailed explanation of my results which was much appreciated. The frame choices are beautiful and I found several that I liked. I am going to continue seeing Dr. Sharms also because I can walk their from my downtown home and the parking is also easy.

My experience with Dr. Shams was excellent. She has all the latest greatest equipment. In her office you no longer have to dilate your eyes, which is a plus. The gentleman Jordan did a great job helping me pick out the glasses best for me. All and all a great experience.

Fast service. Didn’t want to wait to get my eye exam so I called about walk-ins. Came in the next day. Eye exam took 10–15 minutes. The doctor is very knowledgeable! Though because of their fast service you may end up standing for a bit due to their small office if there are other customers sitting.Great selection. As someone who has a big head I always have an issue finding places that sell eye wear that fits my head and is “fashionable” to my taste, while also is comfortable with headphones on. They showed me a selection that were customizable, so I could mix and match to fit my taste while comfortably fitting my big head. They’ll also give you great input on what suits your style more. They also have frames on sale as well.

I just got a new pair of glasses and frames, plus the eye exam, and for everything it COST LESS THAN 1/2 THE PRICE FOR MY OLD GLASSES!! (Without the eye exam!) The Dr. was so informative, and I even got to see 👀 pictures of my eyes- the retinas, blood vessels, which I didnt realize before how much they have to say regarding your health! Your eyes 👀 can show that you have DIABETES OR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, AND GLAUCOMA! How amazing! Besides the great exam, I enjoyed the staff very much too! Had a screw come loose and I needed emergency repair. Was able to walk in, get them fixed and was out in less than 15 min. Got a new screw too!

I had gone here once before a couple of years ago. There is a new doctor who is amazing. Using the latest technology, she was able to show me pictures of my eye and clearly explained what was going on. Great selection of glasses and great support staff. I have to say my visit with Dr. Shams was the most comprehensive and detailed eye exam I’ve ever had. She explained each step, walked me through my retinal scan explained the technology she was using and to top it off I got advise on some trendy new frames. Affordable and helpful. The wait was short (I had an appointment) and the office was tidy. They updated my prescription and provided a range of affordable choices for glasses since my insurance did not cover them. They take Medicaid at the time of this review.

The store has gotten a makeover and it looks great. It’s bright and clean and spacious. The staff is very nice, and one of them went out of their way to make my experience the best and I greatly appreciate that.

They were very knowledgeable when it came to the exam and what is wrong with my vision, but when it came time for me to get my actual glasses...lets just say they didnt let me know upfront that they didnt take my STATE insurance for frames just the exam. So after the exam they told me, Oh, BTW we dont take your insurance for frame! Your going to have to pay $500 out of pocket. Like really!?!? Im a single mom & have children with medical problems & disabilities...I cant afford that...so needless to say, I still dont have my glasses which I really need 😔
