I bought tires for my Subaru Outback from Big O. They are fine.So I made an appointment for my wifes car. I also requested brake inspection. They told her she needed new front pads and rotors. Hundreds of dollars.I replaced the pads myself. The rotors were fine and the old pads were only 50% used. I spent $45 total.Just say Big No!

Bought a set of 4 new tires. got a leak in one and asked to get it repaired. 2 weeks until they can give an appointment for a flat repair on practically new tires that were bought at their shop is unacceptable

Today I went in to your store to order rims and tires for my truck, The young man at the counter told me that I had to wear a mask, I told him that I was vaccinated and that I am not going to wear a mask, he said if I did not wear one I would have to leave So I did just that. I have been a faithful customer for over 25+ years and will not ever return.

I had high hopes but was I was highly disappointed.They use used car salesmen tricks to up sale you, so you end up spending more money. For example:- $32 for putting Nitrogen in the tires (insane!)- Limited stock, so you have to get the expensive tires (The website listed they had cheaper in stock)- They always show you a super expensive quote first, so you would take the less expensive (for sub standard tires)- Extended warranty (covered by the tire manufacturer)- Tire alignment if needed (everyone in my 3 hour stay, needed one I guess), etc.I will never go back to this place.My mistake for not using Costco as I always do!

Ive spent over $15,000 at this Big O over the last 12 years, and they have completely gone downhill with the customer service. Horrible....do not go there!

Un helpful. I called for an emergency flat repair and they said no worries, I arrived 15 minutes before closing and stood in line with no help. When I got to the counter they said no way. I bought a total of 7 tires down the street. They were not helpful at all. I wont ever go to Big O again.

Called in advance for OLF, was told by lady-yes they could. Went over immediately and was told by a lady (another one?) that they didnt have time. Hey, look, mistakes get made, so, ok, they didnt have time. That happens & is understandable. Whats not understandable is the thats too bad, rather rude, unsympathetic attitude. I believe that an apology was in order.I called them because they had a lot of good reviews, but Im sorry this cant be be of them. Before I left, I said Id never recommend them, so Im doing that now. Too bad their upfront Svc isnt as good as the work they do in the garage. Nolan

These people think they own your vehicle once you hand them your keys so make sure you hand them your spare. I forgot my wallet and they would not let me drive my vehicle to get it and I had to wait for them to take my new tires off and they scammed me out of 150$. I went and bought tires on eBay for an even better price, they were delivered the next day and I took them to Ayres in Sparks and they got my new tires on and my alignment done and were far more respectful and grateful for my business. Big o tires left me stranded and accused me of being a thief for no reason and ripped me off.

It took several hours to get a SCHEDULED oil change. I only cut them some slack due to a small discount off of the bill. In the end I will go back but, I will go with my wife and take 2 cars.

These guys are a joke. Will never come back here. Waited 7 hours and they didn’t even get the alignment done. Thanks for wasting my time. The lady at the front desk was very nice though.

The employees inside the store are wonderful. Inside the shop is another story. The last 2 times weve been in to do summer/winter tire swaps they have put in the wrong psi. Today I even specified the psi I wanted and all 4 tires were off. Also today I had an appointment. They said it would be about an hour. Took them 2hrs. This is not acceptable. It through off my whole day.

Extremely irritated with this location. I was asked to wait when I walked in so I did, but then 5 gentlemen walkedn after me within a 10 min span and they were all assisted. Not cool you guys

All I needed was my tire plugged, they had my tire for 4 hours, and didn’t even balance it. They said once again I would have to leave my tire there all day that they are completely booked out. You guys should fix your mistakes fast instead of making a customer wait until you’re able to. Terrible customer service.Update: went to Big O Tires on Kietzke Lane and they got me in immediately. They said I had 3 lbs on one side from the tire that the other Big O fixed which caused my car to shake a lot. They apologized for the service Mae Anne Big O gave me and said they should’ve fixed it right away since it was their fault. I would recommend going to the one on Kietzke!!!

Big o tires will not charge if your vehicle passes a front end alignment. I replaced front bearings hubs, tie rods, and new tires all the way around including spare for a 2000 Mile road Trip. Employees are very courteous, and do you get work.

They do a pretty good job. They are always busy and its sometimes hard to get in. I either make an appointment or try to get there first thing in the morning.

Car was there for 2 hours just to mount and balance 2 tires after checking out there garage I found 4 (techs) mounting my tire. Laughing carring on having a good time . (THIS SERVICE SHOULD ONLY TAKE 30IMUTES )

I completely rebuilt my old truck but just needed a simple alignment. When I took it in, they stated they I needed suspension work and new ball joints which was completely false. I replaced most of them and greased up the ones that needed it. They tried to ask for 1000 bucks to fix it. Huge scam.

You get better service anywhere else.

Fast but didnt reconnect tire pressure sensors, asked how to put spare tire back, and threw out good tire instead of putting on spare as asked. Tire installation good, but the final work missing.

Drove 1 1/2 hours in mild snow conditions for an appointment at 8 am and was 10 minutes late. I called them when I was 5 minutes late and they had already booked hours and hours of cars ahead if me. Full tire change and they expected me to wait 3 hours outside in the winter for being 10 minutes late? Worst customer service I have ever see . Suffice to say I did not stick around nor ever coming back.

This shop installed four new Tire Pressure Monitors that I provided. All 4 tires went flat. They first claimed that the rims were too rusty, then said they were the wrong TPMs. We took the tires apart and found the TPMs were installed improperly. I went back and the manager said he was sorry for the mistake but too bad for me. The tires and TPMs work now. I wouldnt recommend anyone who cares for their safety to have work done at this facility. It will be too bad for them as well

This is the slowest most unproductive tire shop Ive ever been to. The female at the counter was great but the garage guys were jacking around chatting. Holding tire while doing so, then just dropping it to go drink a soda etc. I watched for a half hour and nothing was done to either car in the garage. And the cars were in there when I arrived.

These guys came in clutch while we were hauling cattle and had a blowout. Maddie at the desk was great and met us in the lot when we came in to make sure we could park our trailer. It was almost closing time and they still gave us first-rate service and made sure we were okay. They took care of replacing several old tires. Everyone was friendly yet efficient. Great service and stellar price!

I have been a loyal customer for many many years, even when I moved to San Diego for awhile. They are always attentive to my needs n keep my prices the same and are very honest about what needs to be done. I have referred many people to them. The staff has changed gradually n I do miss the ones that have helped me throughout the years. Great place to go.

We were driving through from out-of-state when we had to have work done, which required us to leave our truck overnight. Chuck was extremely helpful and courteous, making sure that we had everything that we needed and a ride before he left for the night. We greatly appreciate that type of service and general kindness. My Family has been using this Big O since 2003, service has been good, honest estimates and competent work. Chuck, Mattie and Makayla are friendly and are very thorough in explaining the work and always call if there are any additional charges before proceeding with the work. I noticed a bad review recently on a certain social media site and I know no place is perfect but I find it hard to believe that this Big O didnt do everything they could to make it right. I feel very confident in referring them to anyone who needs their services.

They always try and accommodate our needs in a speedy fashion and if that cant be done on that day another day will be recommended to have said need taken care of. Good customer service and honesty is always my concern at anyplace that I take my car and I am confident that I receive this at Big O Tires.

Usually, I go to the location in South Reno because it is close to my house. This time, I came to this location during my lunch break because its super close to where I work. I was worried I might have a slow leak in one of my tires and was going to drive out to Susanville in 2 days. They were able to check my tire faster than it took me to finish my lunch! Great and quick service.

I have been taking my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Big O on Mae Anne in Reno since 2013, they always have taken great care of my vehicle. This visit was for the 120K maintenance and a set of tires, I called about a month ago to discuss the service and price tires. Maddie Wynn was informative, kind and patient, very professional. When I arrived, Exain Bernabe checked me in and out when finished, also very professional, I had the team check one more item under the hood as something was not bracketed (something I noticed months prior to this visit), they located it and had it corrected within 5 minutes. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced with them!

STAY FAR FAR WAY!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM THEY WILL MESS YOUR CAR UP AND BLAME YOU... THIS PLACE IS SHADY STAY FAR AWAY. If you need tires, Discount Tires is right across the street, if you need mechanic work Jiffy Lube is right down the street on Keystone, there are a full mechanic shop. Theyre honest, theyll fix your car right. This place is something special, I came in and asked for two new tires and for my back tires to be balanced and put on the front. They charged me to balance my tires, 20 bucks a tire, 40 bucks total. They put my new tires on the back. Before I came to Big O Tires my car drove perfectly straight down the road, my alignment had a very slight pull. Two weeks later, my Camber bolts are falling out and my tire fell off going down the freeway . 6 months ago I had a whole bunch of work done to the front end and my car. It drove great besides a very slight pull. So I asked him if they could take a LOOK and they wrote me up an estimate over $3,000 and the technician Maddie that help me, didnt really care accept about her ticket average, in what people bought. I feel like this shop sabotage my vehicle, and Im lucky I walked away with my life and I bet I probably wont get even a sorry. When the general manager called all he did was just push the blame off on other person, he said it must have been Jiffy Lubes fault that my car had problems although they were the last ones to touch it and before them it was perfect besides a very slight pull.

Store was busy and all service staff were on the phone when we came in.My wife and I waited a minute or two and almost left before the woman behind the counter greeted us.I must say I am so happy we stayed, the sales person was extremely courteous and knowledgeable.We got a very nice set of tires at a fair price. Looks like we found a new favorite tire store.

Arrived on-time for my appointment and was told that it had been cancelled because the store did not have the tires that I ordered, 5 days earlier. I never received any notification. They did manage to get the tires and complete the job that day. Poor communications within the online. Ill still come back for any future needs, as they do top notch work.

From drop-off to pick-up things could not have been smoother. Nobody tried to oversell me, in fact, i was told that I did not need some of the things I had requested. Prices were very reasonable and customer service was amazing.

I’ve been going to the MaeAnne and McCarran location for the last 10 years. They always get me in quickly and I’m always out before closing. The inside crew is always pleasant and helpful and the guys in the garage are great! I have moved professionally so this location isn’t the closest to my new location, but I feel so strongly about these guys that I go out of my way to to give them my business. I would like to start off by saying I really like taking my car here. I just dont understand if they have something to do on the computer why that is priority over the customers standing right in front of them. No eye contact. No acknowledgement of the people waiting to be served. If there is so much to do on the computer then delegate that task to one person so that you can free up your other agents to assist the customers. Three agents all on the computer, and four customers waiting to be served. Acknowledging a customer with eye contact and a smile goes a long way.

We started buying tires and getting repairs here before we even lived here, when we used to visit from California. We have always been happy with the tires, service and overall attitude at this Big O store. There is no other tire outlet that can match Big Os ability to help when on the go in other parts of the country beside home.Thank You!!

Ive only been once but would definitely go back. They gave me a free inspection for my suspension and solid recommendations. Staff is super friendly and very customer oriented.

After waiting over five hours for an oil change, the shop told me I needed a repair. Came back two weeks later for the repair and not only had they not ordered the part that was needed, they had no record of which side was broken. Im not sure if anything was actually wrong at all. The second quote I received after driving all the way down was also considerably higher than the first. The bathrooms were clean though.

I went to get new tires and it improved my power steering so much! I was smiling my whole drive home. They did a great job

Always loose my custom valve caps... Now, theyve lost my wheel locks🤷🏼‍♂️I have four cars with big o tires on them, sorry, no more.So I did give owner my information, for what I dont know, still dont have key for wheels.

Had tires installed on my 1992 Roadtrek van last Saturday. I contacted Big O via their website and a guy called me back promptly the next morning. Appointment was scheduled and I was done in a bit over an hour while I waited. No surprises and everything went according to plan. Great service!

Best service I have ever gotten in my 50 years of using tire shops. And they do everything auto related. So friendly and fast. I went in midday today Saturday and they were fine swapping some snow tires in 30 min for really cheap. Bravo ! Big O!

They totaled my vehicle and are not paying for damages.On January 24th I brought my 2015 BMW 328d in for an oil change and tire rotation. Later that day I got a flat tire. On January 26th the oil light on my vehicle came on and I pulled over, the car shut off and would not start again. I had my vehicle towed to the nearest dealership, the technician there said the drain plug was not put back properly and all the oil spilt out and the engine seized, totaling my vehicle. I called Big O and was referred to their insurance, Acuity Insurance, an insurance company which has a poor reputation among insurance professionals. It took the claims adjuster nearly three weeks to look my vehicle, and after four weeks made me an offer of approximately $800, which is obviously unacceptable. Litigation in small claims court is currently pending against this Big O Tires location in regards to this issue.

The Veterans and Military discount is about $9.00 for a set of 4 tires. Why even offer one?

Ive spent well over 4,000 at this place replacing oil pans, getting camber arms, and numerous alignments. Maddy and Chuck are very nice however there is one of them that forgets to call me back (forgot her name) anytime a vehicle repair is out of my capability big o comes to mind.

Scam shop... Told me I needed a new battery and they had to jump it to get it off the lift when I had just replaced it. On a separate occasion they told me my lug nuts had gone bad... I thought they were kidding but apparently they thought Im an easy mark. They also broke my hood release so how I have to pull a wire with pliers to get access to the engine. Typical of a chain shop. Liars and thieves.

Brought my GMC pick-up for a 1:00 appt. and the repairs were taken care of within 30 minutes. Maddie called me to let me know the truck was ready and sensor was functioning properly. I am very pleased with how this was handled.

The folks at Big O on Mae Anne are always very friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs. They had us in and out for a basic oil change in 30 minutes. Everything was done right and left clean.

I took my car in for a front end alignment and only took 1 1/2 hr for the work to be done. That was the estimate and they were right. The next day I brought in my Bronco II for a oil change and estimate was 1 1/2 hr. They were right again. The service...the work and especially the staff...excellent! I would come back if I had issues on my vehicles.

I spent over $1,200 on tires, the tires werent inflated to the proper ranges, the tire warning lite was engages and they failed to even notice. Once brought to their attention, they said they would inflate the tires to the proper level. 45 minutes later, the tire warning was still on. Worst tire shop ever. No customer follow through. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had new tires put on my mom’s car and it was done in what seemed like record time.

I had a flat tire (a nail did the job) and i had to take my son to a doctors appointment. Big O had the nail out and my.tire back on, fixed in about 15 minutes. They will have my business from now on. Thank you BIG O TIRES. Troy Frost

I had planned to get tires for my truck on my last visit as I had purchased them here before. I had a flat that needed to be fixed prior to my scheduling the purchase. I had an oil change and they let me know the flat tire could not be fixed. I inquired about new tires and the clerk was lack luster in her response, basically preferred I pay and go. When I asked if I was charged for the flat tire the clerk indicated I had not. When I looked at my receipt after paying I had indeed been charged for the flat repair when it had not been completed. Although the charge was removed when I asked, I made the decision not to return to Big O and got my tires elsewhere. A case where a $15 dollar overcharge and lack luster customer service cost several hundred dollars in potential business.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I waited about 30-40 minutes past the estimated time for completion of my service . Overall good experience, clean bathroom and waiting room. They also had complimentary water and fresh coffee.

After a shocking, devastating accident, I limped my car to Big O Tires, where they whisked me in like a smooth-flowing Emergency Room, got my situation assessed, major alignment, parts ordered, all functioning within 2 hours. Stress level before arrival: 10. Stress level after leaving? 0! -- Huge thanks and kudos to the guys who really know how to see and respond to essential situations and then know how to handle them. Im not planning to ever go anywhere else!

I brought my old truck to these guys with a sometimes crank/extreme stutter/dying issue this past weekend.. first diagnosis was it needed a tune up.. wasn’t cheap, but went with it.. before pick up they recommend a new fuel pump. To see if anything at all had changed (and we all know fuel pump replacement isn’t cheap) I picked it up and drove it.. It was running much better (when running) but the issue was still there. It died on me twice in less than the two mile home. I took it back to them this morning and gave them the go ahead for the pump. Not only did they replace the pump fast, they replaced a tire (free). Put half a tank of gas in it so they could test more (free).. fuel treatment and much more... when I pulled up to pick the truck up.. they were out in the parking lot starting it again just to make sure everything was ok. They went above and beyond and came below the quote.. I haven’t driven the truck enough (a few miles) to make sure it is 100% fixed, but if not, they will get it back and will continue to get my future business! Blown away by Big O! Just a note.. I do most of my own repair and the issues that I experienced are very hard to diagnose.. they went out of their way to try and make sure it is all well now!

My wife and I were in the midst of moving from California to Colorado with a friend. Our friend just had new tires placed on her vehicle from a competitor in California. After traveling over the pass, her driver side tire became loose and after inspection, we noticed three lugs were not completely tightened down. This Big O was in the vicinity and we took her vehicle to be checked out. Not only was the service fantastic, but the team took time to take all four tires off, inspect the wheels and retighten everything without charging my friend. We highly recommend this store to anyone, especially if you are passing through...

I had tires and a front end alignment done on my 2004 PT Cruiser the work was done professionally and fast and they were very courteous I was in and out before I knew it I will be returning for future business

These guys are the worst. The other branches are usually shoddy too, but these guys are something else.I would take my work truck to get serviced at least once a month and every time there was an issue. The last straw was when they lied to me after I told them to grease my front drive line. They told me that they checked and it had no zerks. While I was changing a tire, that they put on and overfilled, I checked and there they were. Right on the most bone dry u joint you have ever seen. So I go in for the next service and tell them i want it done right this time and they say the same thing. They checked and it didnt have any. I took the guy into the shop and made him look, oh. There they are!Yeah. There they are.I ended up having to replace those u joints when my truck started rattling in four wheel drive.Despite all this my girlfriend kept going there. Until we realized that they had never checked her spare tire and it had been steadily going flat for a super long time. Luckily I checked it before a road trip and filled it myself.These guys are dangerous due to their laziness. Avoid.

Right of the get go, A.J. and the team were friendly and patient when I asked a million questions regarding my newly purchased 2001 Jeep Wrangler, my first Jeep ever.
