I brought my car here for a brake fluid change and havent received a call from them telling me theyre done. I called them asking if the car is ready the employee said yes its ready claiming that they tried to call me. Once I picked up my car I noticed there was a towel in the engine bay that couldve caused a fire while I was driving home. Also, my brakes started squeaking when I stopped by the stop light. It was not like that when I came to tiresplus. Word of advice, fix ur own car: it wont suffer being fixed by these shady mechanics.

Since I moved to Reno in 2005 I’ve been having all of my vehicles serviced and repaired at this location. Mercedes is an outstanding service advisor who I trust to always deal with the customer in an honest and professional manner.

They had my car all day. 10:30 ish am to 4:40pm. I arrive 20 minutes to close because I havent received a call regarding the status of my vehicle. Gentleman calls me while I am standing there looking at him from the counter for 10 minutes, and he is 15 ft away from me. Finally walks in and asks how he can help me. Mind you, this is the gentleman that checked my car in. Informs me he cant change my tires due to power steering. They had my car all day and pull a feint like this while I am looking at them. Other customers standing there in the lobby report to me they have been experiencing the same sort of service with them all day long as well.I take the keys and drive my car home turning the wheel with one finger, because you know, non functioning power steering.

Tl/dr: this place is among the best in Reno.Whole story: I did a ton of research and price checking before landing on these guys. First off, Mike, the lead tech/manager, always treats you with respect and intelligence. They are honest and upfront. Often times they have gone above and beyond their duties to assist me and repair my car. They are the lowest prices in the area for labor costs, and often beat competitor pricing on parts. They are fast and reliable. If you arent getting your work done here, you are most likely wasting time and money. I wont be bringing my vehicle anywhere else as long as I live here.-Harley Smith

Showed up because Pep boys didn’t have a service guy to change a tire. Had to get on the road in 45 min. These guys were great! Start to finish to put on a new tire 25 min. Best place in town to get tires for sure!

Needed a car inspection Made appointment for 10:30am left my car there came back at 3:00pm and they hadnt touched my car this place is the worst dont count on these guys

Went to them for Uber Vehicle inspection. Failed inspection for wear on one tire.Also said needed new brakes. We just had new tires put on 6mos ago and new brakes a year sgo. My opinion they just tried to rip us off for tires snd brakes. Will never go back to them. Also mechanic flipped me off.

Dose not matter if u have your own parts brand new they want u to order from them pay double then part should be and then charge u labor there trying be money hungry instead helping a customer charging only 1 hour of labor and be done nope not good enough they want make u a big bill or not help u at all ....

Do not go here! These people have no idea what they are doing. I booked an appointment for an oil change and serpentine belt replacement. When I arrived I was told it would take 3 hours. Took an Uber home and an hour later got a call stating that as my car didnt come with a dipstick built in I would need to take it to the dealership for the oil change. Went back showed employee where the dipstick is located (under the hood on the engine, just like pretty much any other car) no offer to change oil just an excuse that as the dipstick head was green and not yellow that the tech probably didnt see it! Its definitely not a good idea to let these charlatans change your oil when they cannot even find the dipstick. I will not be returning to this or any of their locations. What an absolute joke and waste of my time.

I had some small complications here on communication. However, Travis Goddard area manager resolved all immediately. He is a respectful, highly educated in his field, and an excellent listener. Getting to the bottom line of anything. I highly recommend this location. I’ve had amazing service here. I was referred, I was a little ambivalent due to having a Mercedes. They have helped me with all my needs. Or, referring me to someone who can with a fraction of the price.

Took 1 hour to change 1 tire !! as soon as we got here they lifted car and took tire off just in case we wanted to go somewhere else they can use the excuse to we already started working on it ...came in just to get a tire and go. ! I was aware of certain problems with my car that I already had pointed out. I give it 2 stars because the customer service girl had ok attitude.

I drove up to a tech with an almost flat tire. He filled that tire, then added air to the other 3. I paid for his lunch that day, just for being so kind.

Terrible. Dont know how to do anything other than toss a car on the machine and ring you up. Just a bunch of amateurs.

James, Mercedes, and the staff here are wonderful. I work at another shop in town and these are the guys we take cars to on the occasions our alignment machine is down. GREAT service, GREAT staff. Highly recommend for all your tire and alignment needs!

I just got an oil change today and my car is running much smoother so i know it was done right and in a very timely manner. But what i was most impressed with was the girl up front... Kristen. She was very friendly and informative. She made me feel welcome and answered all my questions in detail. She knew what she was talking about and was honest and so matter of fact which made me feel reassured and comfortable getting my car serviced there. I recommend this location simply on the great customer service you will receive with Kristin.Im also in the customer service industry so when i experience great customer service i feel i should let the individual know but mostly let the management know because all too many times great service goes unrecognized and unappreciated and i want her exceptional customer service to be acknowledged.Thanks again Kristin!

Honest and fast. I have been going here for years. I have even seen them drive an elderly woman home in their own car to her house because she needed to sleep. Very accommodating and friendly.

I got my truck repaired 3 months ago and some how my high beams stoped working. Since I didnt work at night I didnt need them. Until two weeks ago I called the manager and explained the situation they fixed my truck for free it was a bad and wrong amp fuse thanks for you fixing my truck

Truly appreciate Michael’s service, he was incredibly empathetic and understanding towards my situation with a service from another Tires Plus. Workers are quick and kind.

I went to tires plus for an oil change and when I got in my car i noticed the interior dome light was broken. They put the broken pieces under the seat to hide the evidence of what they did. Who knows what else they broke and did not inform me of. Will never go back and recommend that other customers go somewhere else. The workers here are not trustworthy at all. The mechanic that worked on my car was named Rodrigo.

Im not giving this location 1 star because they didnt have the parts to work on my car. Im not giving this location 1 star because of their dismissive sucks to be you attitude. Im not even giving 1 star for telling me I should get coolant so I could make it to the proper mechanics when the coolant was full. I have an obvious physical disability, so the second unnecessary trip to get the coolant they dont have was fun. I am giving this place 1 star because they were rude to my tow truck driver, who was the sweetest and only helpful person the whole afternoon.

This place is a joke, they wanted to mark up a radiator hose almost 200% not even including labor. Do yourself a favor stay away from this place at all costs go literally anywhere else so you dont have to waste your time.

Im NOT giving this place a star because I specifically ask for all season tire but got a summer tire instead, Im NOT giving this place a star because the manager itself who sold me those tire are flat out lied to me, Im NOT giving this place a star for charging me restocking fee of $110 for there f*** up, Im NOT giving this place a star because his seem more upset that Im returning the tire instead of apologizing to me for trying to screw me over so he can sell me those tire, IM giving this place a star because the claim service was fast. It only took a day to get my money back after I filed my claim.

Not recommended unless you are knowledgeable with vehicles. I have been lied to multiple times. They told me I need parts to compete an alignment when I actually did not. Also charged me to replace a belt but forgot to replace it. They correct their mistakes but be prepared to argue with facts. I have a lifetime alignment with them but will not do it again. If they say something should be replaced, get a second opinion.

When Firestone trained associates for specific details and focused on customer service/ retention, I would have dropped 5 and a half stars.

I have made appointments there arrived on time and they still said they wouldnt take my car that day because they had other appointments...even though I made an appointment. So I waited there all day for them to fix my car for nothing. This happened to my boyfriend too. 2 for 2 times means Im not returning.

About the majority of these reviews are accurate specifically Shanes if you plan on going to this shop be knowledgeable in the work being provided as the uneducated staff trys to hustle you haha. make sure you have your car checked twice with a different shop to see if the analysis makes any comparisons. remember correlation does not prove causation. i also have full lifetime alignment, but they try to sneak their way through additional deals or parts you must need. personal experience the illiterate Hispanic tech trys to insist on package deals or pieces that become rarely change,or even necessary. diagnostics become mandatory research.

They made it seem like I needed a new upper and lower ball joint but I decided to hold off, just took my car to another shop and theres no play at all. Glad I didnt spend the $600 on the job or give Roberto any commission. I am ashamed I received this type of untrustworthy service at a tires plus. Go to another location.

I really liked this one because of location, but after today Ill be visiting another one from now on. Today I dropped my car off for an oil change, and showed up about an hour later because he said itd probably be done in about 45 minutes. When I showed up I seen all the employees in the shop getting nothing done, litterly. One guy was reading a magazine and two other guys were throwing paper balls at eachother. Due to these circumstances my car wasnt ready until 1hour and 15 minutes after I dropped it off, and my wife was late to work about 30 minutes. Time is money guys, and you lost buisnesses today.

The place the attention is excellent, it has oil change, alignment, 12 months warranty.Checking the brakes and tires is free.They sell rubbers and they recommend you according to the miles, the checks that you must make to your car.I recommend it 100%.They speak English and Spanish
