Incredible sale happening right now. I just scored this supa-fly Patagonia Backcountry jacket and pants. So stoked. The staff is rad and so friendly. The store is always organized, neat, clean. Patagonia is a dope company. You can drop off old great and they will refurbish and sell it for pennies on the dollar. You can also get anything repaired, whenever, which is awesome. How many companies do this?!

Not great. Almost all small or xl sizes. Discounts were not much in many cases. Ive been to much better Patagonia outlets in other states.

Honestly, I have to say I was a little disappointed. Considering its an outlet, the set of clearance items/last season items was pretty limited. Pricing for most things was standard Patagonia pricing, and I didnt find it very compelling compared to something like an REI garage sale for Patagonia gear.

Great prices but the store is a it difficult to shop. Mens and womens items are all mixed together so you have to check labels carefully.

A really nice store outlet if you are looking to get ready for winter Patagonia they are pricey but also the most comfortable not bulky jackets or sweaters

Patagonia Outlet had some nice clothes but not all sizes and styles available. But this is an outlet to get rid of old styles and not so popular sizes.

Didnt get a chance to check this place out yet...I ended up getting my computer case/travel backpack elsewhere.They are following COVID protocol. And it looked like a very safe place to shop also very busy...

I’m super late with this complimentary post, forgive me!My mom and I shopped here two months ago (Sept.), yes during covid!We could not go inside, bummer of course, but Elijah was amazing and ever so helpful. See, the employees actually do the shopping for you! He brought us out many selections in styles we requested! With many trips back and forth into the store! Never bothered by our requests!I forgot to mention, we called the day before (I forgot the nice lady who helped over the phone, sorry), she pulled items and saved them for us knowing she wasn’t going to be present the next day when we were going to come pick up our items.Aaron was also helpful as he heard us talking about New York where he is from, discovering that he has helped our family a few times before with items. Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you to Elijah and Aaron for being such kind people during these difficult times and still making our shopping experience a great one! Plus all the great deals that we got on wonderful Patagonia merchandise.Thank you Patagonia for having such wonderful employees! We look forward to coming back and hopefully going inside the store, but if not it’s great to know that you have good people on the inside that can help all of us on the outside!

Some good deals on quality outdoor clothes.

This outlet carry clothing toward the premium side and though discounted the price can still lean toward being expensive. Still there a few items that can be have for $10 or $20, but you do have to look for them. The store in Reno is not large by any mean, but do carry a lot of quality stuff:-)

F them! Showed up at 630pm and they would not let me in the store! No joke, I was shocked. Consistency is why large chain businesses are around, if you cant hold a schedule your on your way out. Guess these guys are not with it. Photo is stamped with the time!

Thank you so much Patagonia team! Despite all the challenges because of COVID etc, the team was so helpful and accommodating and we are happy we were able to get a few goodies. I’m blanking on the name of the red-haired gal that helped us, but she and the others went over the top to help us with exchanging some pants and also find some pieces for our first baby who’s coming soon. We always have great experiences at Patagonia stores, but the service we had today went above and beyond. Thanks again! :)

Went to shop today, and the indoor clothing store was closed...due to are quality. Seems legit.

Always have a good shopping experience here! Visit once or twice a year as I drive over from Tahoe and it is well worth the drive. Prices are excellent. Good selection and customer service. Have also called and ordered finding what I wanted and receiving it next day or day after. Highly recommend!

Cool mural on the side but someone had broken the glass display window on the side of the building when I was there so it was closed for repairs.Gotta love the Patty-G though.

Decent store at the time we went it was pretty busy but the staff did try to check up on us whenever possible which was nice. There was a lot of stuff however they didn’t have one jacket that I wanted in my size. However the good thing was they were able to contact someone and get it ordered. Definitely recommend checking this place out

We aren’t in California. Yet, somehow, this store is shut down like Gov Newsom manages the place.There is no outlet here. Don’t waste your time by driving here. Shop online.

The sales here are incredible. Especially if you catch one of their end of summer additional 50% off everything.

Much preferred the prices, selection, and presentation at the Patagonia Outlets prior location up towards Verdi. The present incarnation is likely more intended to draw customers from tourists frequenting downtown Reno than the harder core outdoor and more budget conscious folks who went to the prior location. The present selection seems to be oriented toward fashion, where the prior location produced some really great buys on serious outdoor technical gear such as, for example, the review acclaimed R1 and R3 fleece. Need a real Patagonia outlet store somewhere in the Reno area and a fashion store convenient to fashion conscious tourists. Thankfully the Reno Sierra Trading Post outlet store is still going strong over by Whole Foods and often has great prices on serious outdoor gear from respected makers.2021 Update: Visited again. Selection of Outdoor gear much improved at the Store. Good work! City of Reno has installed credit-card parking meters on area streets. So Patrons trying to visit store have to conspicuously pull out wallets at the meters. Meanwhile homeless are panhandling. One came up, face in my face, and apparently tried to read my credit card while I was putting it in the meter, after soliciting me without success. Told him firmly to get lost. He seemed shocked. Hassle to visit the store with this and the meters.

Post pandemic - alot of off sizes and less appealing color/style selections. More typical outlet fare than before

My favorite place to go when Im in the Tahoe area. The service there is excellent. I always find that the employees go the extra mile to help. The best part is, if they dont have something in your size or color, they will get in contact with another store to find the item and have it shipped to you a no additional cost. Recently Ive been making use of their worn wear program to have holes repaired. Such a great company and this outlet rocks.

Decent deals and good service

This was a cool store I ran into on my way to dinner. Patagonia is known for their high quality clothing and fair wages for workers. They had a really great 50% off sale when I was there. They had men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. There was a great selection of items.

Holy huge selection! I LOVE this store!The staff is super cool and can help you make a selection.The store itself is super neat and their sale section was the biggest of any Patagonia I have been to. Its super hard for me to find XS in ladies, and my hubby to find M in men; but there was a great selection at this store. You must visit!

Im a big Patagonia fan, particularly for the companys mission statement and work supporting public lands. And an outlet? Yes, please.

If you like Hi-Tech outdoor Gear, or simply love the values that Patagonia lives by, definitely swing through. They have great selections at the best prices. Plus, they usually have public events. The store itself is super spacious and the staff always friendly.

If you are looking for high quality outdoor wear this should be your first stop. This company stands %100 behind every product they reasonably source, and give very generously to environmental causes all over the world!!

Great people and great advice. The companys philanthropy is enough to make me want to buy from Patagonia. The fact that their gear is hands down the best there is and that it is guaranteed for life seems like icy on the cake. Anyone of these these reasons is worth the five star review.

The previous outlet store at the edge of Reno was easy to get to, no traffic, had many more sale items and great parking. It was a nice quiet stop on long road trips and we always spent far too much. The new location downtown is hectic for out of town folks, especially for driving and finding parking for a large vehicle. I was disappointed to see about half of the merchandise was retail. I dont see a reason for us to go back to that location.

Super friendly staff, very helpful and engaging. I liked they gave their honest opinion about the products and how they work. They were very unbiased about their brand and knowledgeable. I look forward to coming back to this store next time in Reno.

The store is a good store, the staff is super friendly. There is usually a good sale going on on something. My only issue with this store is its location. It is close to downtown sometimes difficult to find parking.

Came in at noon on a Thursday with my family. Were from out of town and made it a point to check this place out. There were maybe 4 other customers in this store and at least 6 employees. Not one person greeted or acknowledged us when we walked in or while we were walking around the store. There were no signs indicating what was on sale or what certain markings on tags were. The employees seemed too busy chatting or folding clothes to be bothered. We left completely disappointed. Zero customer service!

Really not the best experience. I made my way around the entire store and not one person approached me or smiled or greeted me. Maybe it was an off day for them...but when I went in at was after 2pm. Can only get better from there.

Great store! Friendly and helpful staff! I will definitely be back!! I decided to buy quality clothing that would last vs. buying new clothes every year. Patagonia hasnt let me down. I love their values and their clothing lasts. Sure you can find cheaper stuff but speaking from experience it doesnt last like Patagonia.

They had the new retail items in the front half of the store, and outlet items in the back. The discounts are not large so dont expect to get super great deals but it was sufficient and we got a few things. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will return!

Top Level clothing for outdoors and sport. Environmentally responsible business that walks the talk. Seasonal sales are wonderful opportunity to buy great products. Genuine helpful sales staff - a rarity these days.

Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are almost reasonable given that they are deeply discounted from retail, but its still Pata-Gucci, so dont expect to pay Columbia or Old Navy prices for a layer or fleece. Parking is a little tight, and its a little bit too close to the strip in Reno for my liking, but its probably a great place to be when tourists need warm clothes in short order.

The workers did not feel a need to approach my daughter or myself. I would not have known what the two you g ladies at the door were offering if I did not ask them. They gave a short answer like they were trying to shoo me away. Whats really going on? Lots of cute interesting stuff. I refused to spend my money there.

I mean how can you go wrong, it’s Patagonia. I wish they would actually just say, this is a flagship store in a town where our distribution center is and we have a few deals you know like a rack. Then they could say, sometimes we put other stuff on sale but you know most of the time it’s full price. I guess, not too much can be expected a Patagonia, as far as being cheap. I will however continue to buy the product as the mission for the sustainability to making this world a better place is good in my book.

Once, this was the largest Patagonia Outlet store in the United States. This place is large but still manageable. Great selection with great staff. Oh and of course, amazing prices.

The problem I have with Patagonias Outlet Store is it is really expensive. The space is cool and really nice staff but there are few if any actual good deals which is what I want at an Outlet. Oh well. It probably seems like a good deal to some folks.

If you need anything go see Sara. She is awesome at her job. She has the best smile. We got my daughter a jacket for her trip to Europe and Sara helped us pick up the right light jacket for her. Fun place to be and a great atmosphere.

Excellent source of outdoor apparel at a reasonable price. Selections for men, women and children. Small selection of items for cooking on the field. There is usually a very good selection of off-size items such as extra small or extra large items. Might be good to keep checking-in to see when the get items between seasons.

This Patagonia place its way overpriced. If you want a warm weather proof jacket I suggest you go elsewhere unless you have deep pockets. There are much better brands out there for way less money. Im sorry Patagonia but your prices just are way too unreasonable for my liking. As for the store its nice and warm, staff are good. Dressing rooms are clean. Store was really easy to find.

This outlet store is fantastic, with some items up to 80% off retail price. The workers will help you find anything and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Getting to the bathroom is also a fun adventure.

I saw some of the other reviews mentioned high prices, which I think is unfair. The prices here might be higher then other outdoor stores, but the products are very high quality. You get what you pay for when it comes to outdoor clothes and goods, thats why I like to shop here. Plus the people are really nice.

Not open for instore but curbside shopping was good.

The clerks were super helpful and friendly. I needed a size they didnt have in stock and they ordered it for me and shipped it to my house with free shipping.

There is a small parking lot that was off to the side and the store was not crowded. It was well staffed and they were friendly.

Patagonia is a fantastic company and I enjoy attending the Science Distilled Lecture Series that they sponsor. Patagonias clothes are great too!

Weekend shopping. The store and prices aren’t worth the five stars, but the staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help us, answering all of our questions fully and offering helpful ideas for what to get, what not to get, and how to take care of the gear.

I will never wear Patagonia clothes. I worked security there back in 98. They tried to get me fired from there due to the paint job on my truck and because I was a smoker on my own time (Steve Gauss was the militant anti-smoking Nazi who demanded my termination. Several receptionists demanded my termination due to my refusal to paint my vehicle to their liking. ). BOYCOTT PATAGONIA!!!

While at a conference in Reno I stopped by their retail store in downtown and it’s closed on a Tuesday at 12:30 pm. That’s what I call poor customer service.

Has both current selection of clothing available at standard Patagonia stores and outlet options. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. They even allow dogs with you while shopping.They host various events which have been great, too!

Nice to have an outlet store. I liked the old one better but you can visit See Sees Motor Coffee right behind the Patagonia store for a great cup of coffee after you shop.

Deals on high-end gear... Yes please!

Disappointed. The outlet felt like any other retail location. Its a nice store, nice employees, eco-friendly building, etc. However, not the outlet discount destination I was hoping to find like the North Face outlet store in Berkeley where you can find amazing deals and is always packed. On the other hand, the Patagonia Outlet felt empty and felt like a mall store. I walked in the front door and saw a cool display of clothes, but then find out that the display was their current line of clothes at regular price. Then, the rest of the store was full of nice items that seemed to be discontinued styles or last years fashion, but still at a high price. They had a few bins tucked under the various tables throughout the store with more discounted items, but hardly the stuff I was looking for when shopping. I dont get why they have an outlet store tucked away in Reno, Nevada and then try to milk a premium buck from a few racks of last years jackets, shorts, shirts, and pants. Why not sell it at REAL outlet prices, get people talking about it, get some good buzz and PR from it all and make customers like me happy about it and wearing your brand? Instead, whenever Reno comes up in conversation the Patagonia store also comes up as to what a let down place it was for me.

Not a bad detour stop. Good selection but prices werent amazing for an outlet. We were expecting a bit more of a sale section, but a lot of it was current season inventory.
