Wow, this place is awesome! Didnt know theyve been there for 25 years or I would have visited way before now. The staff was super friendly, patient, and the inside was laid out so you could easily get around. From tye-dyes to incense, this place has a little of everything for anyone!

Love, love this store! Always have so much fun shopping here. The staff is really mellow and helpful. However, yesterday had strange experience. I had purchased something day before, went back to buy another item, spending about$160. Anyways, I dont know if the sales associate was just having an off day, but she wasnt exactly friendly. Made me sad, instead of happy to be shopping there.😪

My wife and I went to find a certain kind of mask for places that still require them. The employees were really cool and friendly, and were willing to answer any questions. We found exactly what we were looking for. The store is clean, well organized, and they have so many different things from astrological sign candles to various types of clothing and jewelry. Fun atmosphere.

Love, love, loved everything about this store! Went to Reno last month and got married. Stumbled upon this store and my husband and I found so many beautiful and great items that we purchased. The staff are friendly and kind and helpful. We ended up back in there a few days later and purchased even more items! Most of the items are handmade or locally sourced and we loved that about them! Would love to get in touch with management or a staff member because unfortunately we were burglarized and lost quite a few of the items from the store and would like to see if I can try and replace some, if not all of them if possible. If a member of staff or management could get in touch with me that would be amazing! Thank you in advance!

Ive wanted to work here forever. I love this place. Essential oils, incense, tarot and Oracle cards, hand made clothing, leather goods, hats, dresses, onesies, jewelry, prayer flags, a fully equipped head shop with everything pertaining to thc and beyond. Staff is rad, helpful, friendly.

Sooo very expensive!! The smoke shop on Rock Blvd had the same sweatshirts/pullovers for 20$$ cheaper!!!!! Big frikn difference. Made me feel ripped off!

The lady in the back could be nicer. Nobody wants to go in and have someone automatically judge and think you don’t have any money, and suggest the “cheaper” stuff. Sorry, I’ll take my business else where. Teach your employee to be nicer and not to be judge mental.

This place has a lot of cool clothing, handmade soaps, lotions, festival wear as well as a separate smoke shop/CBD shop. They also have some really cool wooden topographical art made by a local artist that is worth checking out! The sales ladies are very sweet and helpful as well!

Such an awesome store!!! Great variety of products from around the world. Perfect place to find a unique gift or to buy your necessities and or outfits for festivals (Burning Man is a given). Helpful staff, clean shop and inviting atmosphere . They also have a smoke shop in the back of store that has a great variety of glass pieces and accessories. Highly suggest taking a look at this place if youre in town. Prices vary and go a little steep on a few of the handmade/specialty and/or outsourced clothing items, but thats expected when they do the leg work to bring you that kind of variety. Overall affordable and abundant amazing shop with great products. Keep up the great work!!!!

This was my first time being in here and I like most of the products that they sell, I didnt purchase anything because their staff is rude.

I was looking for a marijuana detox. They were very knowledgeable in their products, they werent looking to make as much money as they could and were very helpful finding something that works for me and explaining how products work. Parking is easily accessible, store is clean, staff is friendly and they have a little bit of everything. Fun little store.

Interesting and eclectic mix of clothes and other items. Has an ethnic, hippy vibe to it. Lots of comfortable, and quite colorful, pants, shawls, dresses etc. There is a small selection of books and sculptures and also has a section with masks and novelties. Staff is very friendly and helpful. An interesting store to browse even if youre not looking for anything in particular.

Quality selection. I came into the store expecting cheap rasta gear and fake Eastern-themed clothing. My mistake. I found a great selection of counterculture clothing all appearing to be of decent quality.I bought two Mind Honey shirts.The prices were higher than expected, but seemed to be locally made, or decent quality.They have hats, pipes, kitschy keychains, incense, soap, Eastern/Indian items, costumes, bags. Itd be quite easy to find something for almost anybody in this store.

The Melting Pot is, by far, the definite first stop in Reno’s Midtown community district. A thoroughly hipster, eclectic and electric flavored store – with such a strong counterculture vibe, you’ll spend hours here. Burners and the avant-garde will delight with some radical and fun accessories. Kudos to the warm and knowledgeable sales folk behind the counter and in the beautiful pipe room. We also liked their selection of Steampunk and festival gear, stage clothing and a wide array of books and apparel. Prices have gone waaaaaay up since we first started shopping here for lighting products for Burning Man. While their clothing items are unique and very interesting, selection has decreased and I was disappointed with what they had in store. This used to be my go-to before heading out to BRC, but I think I will skip this as a stop. If you are a first timer to the desert, this will still be very interesting with great steampunk inspired pieces.
