Oh my goodness, this ice cream is so delicious 😋The texture is perfect and servings are huge. We enjoyed eating our scoops in front of a fireplace. Next time may sit in the swings 🤠

It was so good that I couldnt take a photo. Why is this 5 stars? The vibe, the flavor selection, the service, the quality, and the price. A single was most places double. Their homemade waffle cones are great. Even if they reduced their portion size sightly Id still give them 5 stars. (If you guys are reading this, dont do it.)

Great local, authentic ice cream shop that has served our neighborhood/area very well. They have some great unique flavors as well as the classics. (Caramel Crack and Cinnamon Chip are two of our favorites!) They also do events!

This is my daughters favorite place ever. OK so my wife loves it too. We always support locally owned businesses as much as possible, but you guys make it easy with great ice cream, service is top notch and quick even when there is a huge line in the drive though. Is it a little more expensive than some big national chains? Yes, but this is gourmet stuff Jimmy! And the serving sizes are very generous. Totally recommend this place.

We got waffle cone with coffee icecream and strawberry icecream milk shake, they have one size only for the shakes with cost about 7$ and it lacked flavour, was very heavy and sugary, same with coffee icecream! Dont recommend the place. Staff are good but not quality icecream and expensive for the quality.

I did not care for the ice cream here at all. The ice cream has a very artificial taste to it, like the flavors are created by adding artificial flavors that mimic the tastes of the things they’re supposed to be flavored as. They also only let you sample a maximum of two flavors before deciding, so maybe some of their flavors are better, but I would have no way of knowing. I didn’t like either of the flavors I sampled even though one of them is usually my favorite flavor at other ice cream shops, but since they wouldn’t let me try any more I was stuck either taking a gamble or ordering the one I disliked less of the two I tried. I also tasted my husband’s cookies ‘n’ cream shake because he didn’t like it even though he normally loves cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream, and it a very strange fake taste to it. Kids probably won’t know the difference, but if you’re looking for a delicious dessert that’s worth the calories, go someplace else. Service etc. was fine which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one.

They have a lot of vegan ice cream options! I ordered the mango one and it tastes really good.The person taking our order was really sweet to ask us if we had any dairy allergies (for the scoop). When we asked him if he had a separate one for the vegan ice creams, he proceeded to get a fresh one from inside! It was really considerate of him to do that!

Wow. Stuck in line for over 30 minutes. Had to call and tell them there was a line trying to order. They said the mic was out and to drive around. Why there was no sign up to let customers know, I can only guess. When we got to the window one kid was taking all the orders, completing the orders and taking out payment, even though there were several kids in the background just standing there. Literally standing there trying to avoid finding something to do. Apparently they have become too comfortable in their success to think that they need to worry about customer service. We will not be returning. They need to make sure an adult is managing their young staff members. Very disappointed. I’m not getting my time back.

It was my first time going. They had a good selection of flavors. The ice cream was delicious. It seemed they had an issue with their freezer. Some of the flavors were melted. Otherwise I would have rated them 5 stars. I will definitely go again and look forward to trying other flavors.

The best milkshakes, period. No uppity gimmick shakes, just shakes.... The perfect consistency every single time.... Ive never felt like I got a cup of soft serve with a straw here as with most other places... Im a milkshake addict and Im telling you, these are the best milkshakes youll find....

Flavor is good. Prices are solid for the size and quality. Staff are really friendly but the line is always very slow and the drive through mic may be messed up because they tend to have trouble hearing and need you to pull up to the window.All in all, very good experience, definitely worth visiting. I imagine a lot of the critiques will get smoothed out over time.

Trendy ice cream shop with a single location in Richardson run by a firefighter and with seasonal ice cream flavors. Service was very polite and respectful; as a bonus, the center of the interior has a super cool swing-chair setup in the center that can hold up to 6 at that table. Super delicious flavors!! If you like floral I recommend the lavender!

Taste is terrible. We ordered 5 different flavors. Out of our group of 6, only 1 liked the ice cream. The place was clean. The staff was nice, but taste is king.

We’ve had a great experience every time we’ve gone! I wish I had noted the employees names from today, but both people we interacted with went above and beyond, and were very sweet and engaging with my toddler. It was so good!!! Super polite and fast service. First of all, I loved the interior ( especially the swings), super cool design. I got a single scoop of Cappuccino Crunch in a waffle cone and it was HUGE! It was earlier in the morning so I couldnt finish it all but I wouldve 😋. The waffle cone was delicious and crisp not tooth breakingly crunchy but waffle-y unlike many of the waffle cones you might come across at ice cream parlors. The ice cream was a tad bit too sweet for my taste and very rich which probably contributed to my not being able to the whole thing but overall I definitely enjoyed.

My wife won the free name drawing for an ice cream which brought us to Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream. The line moved quickly and the seating options were nice. Most of the chairs can be moved about/rearranged to accommodate larger parties; however, there are some seats in the center that are faux-swings. Perfect for kids or parents with kids.I didnt have the ice cream, but my wife ate the vegan chocolate flavor. Shes been talking about it ever since, and well be back soon.All in all, 5/5.

This is the best place I have ever went to I got the ice latte with chocolate ice cream it was so crazy and delicious. We had to jump back in the drive thru just so I can get my mother one keep up the good job.

The drive thru lane moves very slowly we waited like 30 minutes. They are very generous with their servings. The one dip cones are huge ! I wasn’t able to finish my cone, it was too much. The flavor was okay, I think next time I’ll go to Braums.

Poor customer service. As a “regular” customer you get disappointed in the overall experience just because of the customer service. Staff don’t handle with care the ice cream and it is very common you just get the “cream” instead of the “ice cream”. So why keep going? Because flavors are great

Id seen a lot of my friends go here with young kids to enjoy their ice cream and their unique seating, which is 8 or so swings at a large table. My name came up as their name of the day, so I thought Id check it out since who could go wrong with free ice cream?My teen daughter and I went for our date time together. They had signage posted around about sarcasm comes free etc, which I thought was unique and funny.When we walked in there were more than half a dozen employees behind the counter, congregated having a couple of conversations. Sarcasm was not their problem though. Getting any ONE of the employees to take our first time order was. When an employee finally broke away from the personal conversations happening and helped us, I asked how the name of the day free ice cream worked. She said just let me know what flavor you want! My daughter got cookie dough and I got a caramel explosion or something like that. Another personal conversation happened on the way to us checking out. So when she went to give us our total, she forgot the free coupon, but immediately fixed it after I said something. By the way, we were the ONLY ones in line at this time.We went and sat down in the cushioned seats by the fire and were excited to try the heaping scoops they give you. I have to say, the first bite we kind of both just looked at each other like...is this ice cream supposed to taste like this? I dont know how to describe it except that it did not taste fresh, at all. After about the second or third bite I seriously contemplated throwing mine in the trash. I hate to waste food so we both went on to eat it but curious about the different taste. It did seem to grow on you as you got further in.I dont know if I will give it a second chance or not. This place could definitely be fun for much younger kids with the swings as chairs although I did see a lot of adults in them!

I had the Caramel Crack Ice Cream topped with the new flavor Chocolate Oreo (not crumbles of Oreo but huge luscious chunks) all on a perfect in-house made waffle cone. A treat from Tongue In Cheek makes any kind of day all better.

Loved the caramel crack, really well packed and packaged to take home. My 2 single scoops were huge and still frozen 20 minutes later. So tasty and creamy ate 1/2 a scoop of the caramel crack saving the rest for tomorrow.

This ice cream shop is pretty good. It has scooped ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, and sorbets for non diary consuming individuals. I had a lavender flavored sorbet with the strawberry champagne sorbet. I’m a big fan of lavender flavored ice creams.

Ive been twice. Both times, the clerk patiently and eagerly discussed my options and I waited as they did the same for the person in front of me, too. First, I tried the banana pudding flavor. Definitely not as good as the one from Blue Bell, but still good and with way more cookies! 😋 Second, I caved and tried that caramel crack. I was very skeptical mostly because I really just wanted to stick with tried and true banana pudding with all the cookies. Also because I dont want crack! Listen, it was worth it. So worth it! And, yes, Im addicted! Such a fun flavor!! Not to mention, you get a pretty decent amount in just one scoop! Next, I think Ill try crack on a cone. Im imagining how the caramel will pair with a waffle cone and Im pretty sure my mouth is already watering.

I absolutely love this this place, Im lactose sensitive, so their sorbets are perfect for me and they are insanely delicious. Ive had their ice cream also. BEST vanilla, chocolate and strawberry Ive ever tasted! And I could (and have!!!) finished a point of their salted caramel.I highly recommend!

The waffle cone is delicious, fresh, and sometimes big! Great atmosphere and friendly staff, a little pricey for one person but still worth it! Can’t wait to come back!

Neat place, the kids enjoyed the sway swings. The ice cream is ok. Cookies-n-cream seems to be a favorite. Strawberry was ok, kinda bland to me not much strawberry flavor. My daughter had vegan chocolate. Tasted like wall paper paste to me, she thought it was ok. But the vegans may enjoy it.

ELITE Ice Cream in Richardson. They may even be better than Sweet Firefly, which is saying something. I think their drive-thru puts them slightly above because of convenience. Fantastic and unique flavors that are o so creamy. You can get 1 scoop in a cone or cup for about 4 bucks and you get PLENTY. I mean way too much ice cream. Im not complaining, Im rejoicing. Give this place a try if you havent already, you will not regret it. They will take you to Flavortown and show you a good time.

Weve always gone here for ice cream to try their different and seasonal flavors. Weve bought 2-3 pints of blueberry cheesecake before, and it was AMAZING. They dont skimp out on the crust pieces, or the blueberry flavoring. Decided to buy an ice cream cake for my husbands birthday. It tasted okay, but wasnt like the pints weve ordered before. It seemed like they were stingy with the blueberry and crust pieces, it was mostly vanilla or white ice cream that they use. It was decorated ok, then i realized the blueberries on top were not symmetrical (not a big deal, but made cutting it awkward lol, but since it wasnt cheap i expected more). I was also a little dissappointed with how it was decorated compared to their cookies and cream cake that ive seen. The cookies and cream is LOADED with cookies and chunks and whatever, but mine had graham cracker dust along the sides with just a few blueberries with whipped cream along the sides and top. Since i paid more for a custom order, i was expecting it to be like their cookies and cream at least, or even better. Not worth the 50 bucks in my opinion.Ill still get ice cream here, but i dont think ill order anything other than the pints.

First time here the other day and it was a good experience. We had the cheesecake flavored ice cream and chocolate brownie flavor. Our child had the mango flavor and she loved it. Not as thick and creamy but I liked the texture. Would definitely come back and try more items on the menu.
