I would recommend them. I wanted to get files off of a hard drive from a laptop I had that died... they got them off no problem, charged what theyd said theyd charge, and it overall just went fine. Good place, I like the staff, 5/5 would recommend.

Lack of communication initially when getting quote on work, which caused later confusion, and frustration.I appreciate the business reaching out, offering to complete work, getting a refund, and explaining the situation.I do believe all this could’ve been avoided if the services, service times, quotes, etc., were explained throughly, or at least more thoroughly than what I was provided with.Thanks again for reaching out.

I have a very mixed opinion about my recent experience with Cline. Years ago I used the company was was extremely satisfied (5 Star on price, quality and service). I needed a simple repair on my laptop. Desiring to use a local company I went back to Cline. I had a very different experience this time.19 days ago I took a laptop for repair. I was told it was a simple repair and that when they identified the part, ordered, and received the part.... it would take an hour to repair. When I called back 3 business days later I was informed the part was due in the next day. 3 business days later I called again and was told the part would be in the following day (delays do to weather). Not hearing from them the following day (a Saturday), I stopped into the store on the following Monday only to be told the part had yet to be delivered!!! 2 more business days passed before they called to tell me the part was in, the repair complete, and I could pick up my laptop. I stopped in, paid the invoice and took my laptop home.When I arrived home I found the screen was defective. I took it back the same day (Wednesday, 14 days after I first dropped the laptop off for repair). I was told that the laptop screen had been damaged during repair, that it would be fixed at no cost, and that they would order the part for overnight delivery. The next day I received a text message that gave me a tracking number and informed me that the order would not arrive until Friday because it was placed too late in the day to arrive overnight. As I tracked the package I discovered it did not ship until Friday pm and did not arrive until MONDAY at 9:22 AM. I waited until 2:30 to call to find out the status of the repair. I was informed that the laptop had just arrived but that the technician was ill and unlikely to be able to get to it until Tuesday or Wednesday (based on whenever he returned to work from sick leave).I express my frustration and so they assigned a different technician who was able to repair the laptop within an hour of my call.Needless to say... this was a very frustrating experience made even worse by the poor communication from Cline. It is best summed up by the saying that they over promised and underperformed in the area of customer communication. The price was reasonable, the cost as satisfactory and fair. However, 19 Days and repeated commitments unfulfilled left me doubtful about using them in the future.

The key pad on my laptop stopped working. I couldnt even log in. Took my laptop in, they kept me updated via text as I requested. Fixed the next day! Super friendly and fast service. Price was great!

First rate, from the phone call to Cline Computers, to the excellent service by their very capable technician (not sure what his title should be!) Sal...I was very pleased with all my contacts with Cline Computers. Joel Cline was helpful, and went beyond the call of duty, as did Sal. Thank you from a happy computer user! (P.S. Started out with a bit of a glitch, but all in all after that everything sailed along beautifully. Would recommend Cline Computers without hesitation).

Yesterday, I received the best customer service from Mr. Shane at Cline Computers. Shane was extremely pleasant and helped in resolving my issue with my external hard drive. I was able to obtain fast service instead of waiting in line for an hour to speak with the Geek Square (and still not get the issue resolved). A great small and friendly local computer repair and product store to visit. Thanks Shane!Bri

Follow up:Joel Cline contacted me to resolve this. I am now confident that this was a case of miscommunication. The work that was done, was done well. I found Joel to have a lot of integrity. I appreciate his contact. While I will be very sure that my expectations are clear, Id use Cline Computers again. Because my previous experience was excellent, Im bumping to 3 stars, and adding this information.-------------I have previously been a real fan of Clines. I have recommended several people to Cline over years. Of course I contacted them to do some work on my dads computer. He is 83 and nearly blind and nearly deaf. But I work full time, and reached a point where I couldnt get any further. The previous visit was great, so I counted on them to help me out here.I asked for a specific thing to be looked at. I made sure they had my number to discuss any problem. They claimed he had hard drive failure, which may or may not be the case. I didnt see that behavior - but perhaps they caught it early. They offered to take it and replace the hard drive - estimating about $250. Since he trusted them, because I had recommended them, he agreed.He got it back today, new hard drive - $360 and no software reinstalled. Particularly, his accessibility software, no email, no nothing. So I will be leaving work to go spend hours trying to finish this job.He could have bought a new refurbished computer for that. I am so disappointed! And incredibly angry, and feel that he has been greatly taken advantage of. I will not use Cline again, I will not recommend Cline again. And I encourage others to use caution in dealing with these guys.

We should have just gone to The Geek Squad but I wanted to save money...it the worst choice. Such horrible service from start to finish. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else if you want reliable and honest service.

Fantastic service with a knowledgeable staff that will help the customer with computer service. Cline Computers has helped me with networking, webhosting, custom computer builds, and more. Theyre service is priced fairly and they will be upfront with you on potential costs. Eight years ago they built the custom desktop computer that Im still using today for gaming and video editing (with hardware/software upgrades throughout the years by Cline). Bottom line is go to Cline Computers for all of your computer/tech needs.

This place is awesome.I wouldnt go anywhere else now.Sadly I have gone to many other places before I found Cline computers.Stop burning your money, and raising your frustration level. Instead raise your intelligence level, by choosing to go here.Your wallet will rejoice, and you wont hate every computer you see, or want to scream everytime you hear computers or tech mentioned.I wish I had known about them sooner, it would have saved me so much termoil and lost files and material.Small business is the only way.Theres a reason theyve been in business so long. Fast, friendly, cost effective and technically competent computer support. I lost Wi-Fi connection capability on my PC and the Cline technician fixed the problem in just a few minutes. Definitely recommended and I would not hesitate to call them or stop by one of their shops again in the future.

Joel over at Cline Computers saved my trip last week. I was up in Richland visiting family and my work laptop just started acting up and then eventually would not turn back on. Joel helped me first by doing some data backup so I could save some files I was working on and then proceeded to go through all the different things like virus and malware removal.Then they figured out it was a bad hard drive and installed a new one that same day. I was back up and running so I could get onto the internet and finish up my work on time. Price seemed reasonable but I can guarantee that the service was FIVE STARS!

I needed some esd bags, of which there are hundreds in this store. The completely inept persons standing around smoking cigarettes were unable to help me find an esd bag as there are none in the shop, at least they informed me of this without looking, then proceeded to pretend to look while muttering that they were certain they didnt have any.Congratulations on your strip mall success, Joel.

As a mechanic and computer-builder, I often dont find myself relying on repair centers often, but when I do .. Theyre usually so awesome that I cant tear myself away. (Insert picture of The Worlds Most Interesting Man).All comedy aside, it seems like every time I leave here, Im left in a state of shock and bewilderment. Before you go thinking, Bah, just another Geek Squad, let me stop you right there. Geek Squad WISHES it was this good OR cost effective. You COULD go to geek squad, pay them 1/4 of what your computer is worth to have them look at it and another 1/4 to actually fix the darn thing.OR you could take it to Clines, and have Tim and the team ACTUALLY fix it and offer gobsmackingly-low prices for the replacement parts (if it needs parts). These guys have saved my butt not ONCE.. Not TWICE..but THREE TIMES already and offered a mind-bogglingly economic solution to upgrading my rig and bringing it into the 21st century.If youre going anywhere else, youre just wasting money.Not saying that Geek Squad doesnt have its own qualified personnel.Im just saying Clines are better. (critic-y-critic smarmy-smarm :D)Whether you need that extra Hard-drive, Bit of ram or obscure peripheral.Your computer is locked up, bugged out or cant handle the heat anymore.Tearing holes in space-time and summoning The Doctor,These guys have your back, and nothing is more valuable than a quality I.T. I was having difficulty with my desktop computer. Took it to Clinesand they determined the hard drive was failing and the power supply as well. They set me up with a reconditioned machine, transferred all my data to the new computer at less than the cost of repairs. Service was prompt and work was over the top.

I only wished I had wrote this sooner, I regret wasting time. (Albeit I spent all that time on the computer they set up for me.)TL;DRDid a fantastic job, easy to work with, affordable hourly rate. They dont waste time to bump it up. They do work, and do it good. I could not be happier with the outcome.I am a disabled gamer and have for now about 6 years. Games are my life, without them I would not be here. It was really time to update the computer as modern games were catching up to it, causing more than one issue. RAM, Graphics, ect. So after doing a little look, we went with Cline Computers. I will admit, at first I was a bit nervous. We had used Cline before when its hard drive failed, as well as upgrading from a Redeon HD 5570, to a GTX 970. We had a list, and a budget, set up and set sails.Over a period of just about 3 weeks, we set up a list, they ordered the parts, and put it together. Originally, we had not chosen to have any of the see-through walls, or any cosmetic properties. However when we arrived we were surprised when we found they had added a window. Not only that, but they went through the pain and effort to put most of the cords they could on the right side of the computer, hiding along the wall and out of sight. So when you looked through the left you saw the internal parts. It looked amazing. They had finished it on my birthday itself, quite the amazing birthday present. (See the attached picture)To finish up, when something came up with the computer they were still there to help. One of the new drives was not activated. However, even after the upgrade I was able to send off an email to the guy who helped me, and he was still there to assist me.In the end, I say this. If I need any more computer work of any kind, I am going to Cline Computers.

Called to see if I get my computer fix, talked to Service guy for about 30 seconds and he put me on hold, didn’t tell me he put on hold, just did it, waited 15 minutes before giving up, I guess I’ll take my business somewhere else....

Terrible service, extremely rudeI went in to have a minor computer problem fixed and felt extremely patronizedone person was nice enough to explain to me what was wrong with my computer and give me a recommendation for getting it fixed, but otherwise they did not seem interested in helping me whatsoever
